Trying Wedding Hairstyles On Myself

Hi guys it's audrey and welcome back to on vlogs there's kind of an echo in here anyways today, i'm in my parents, bathroom because they have the best lighting and also the most space. And today's video is i'm gon na be trying to do my own wedding. Hairdos, my own wedding hairstyles. This is gon na be interesting, so, as you can tell, if you've seen my other video, i just did my own wedding makeup. This is what it looks like. If you want to see the process make sure you check it out and honestly, it looks really good in here, like probably wouldn't skip out on the foundation once again, but like besides, that not bad. So i thought i'd give it a go with my with my hair. Now let me show you what my hair looks like. Naturally, all right - i don't know if you guys, could tell kind of me kind of my hair um, it's really dark, but it has a lot of like wavy texture curls to it. Um i'll, try to show you right here. Oh, that was a really great strand. That'S what my hair looks like, and i want to show you the three hairstyles that i'm planning on doing also. I found this one online kind of weird i don't know i would definitely not drink that one, but i just thought it was funny because i haven't ever seen anything like that before we're doing a half up half down one which is actually what i want for. My wedding, but i'm definitely not gon na, be doing my own hair from my wedding because for lots of reasons um and i'm also going to be doing an updo one where it's a braid and then a ponytail just to give like a little variety, see what I, like the most, i think, i'm going to go that half up half down one though um but yeah, even though my hair is a little wavy, i don't feel like it's like wedding hairstyle worthy, so i have a flat iron. I have a curler plugged into the wall and i am going to curl my hair, probably off camera and i'll come back um guys. I have come a long way. First of all, i actually know how to curl my hair. Now i know how to curl my hair, the reason why i'm so excited, because if you guys saw my video, maybe it was like a year ago - you should check it out. I was in my college dorm room trying to figure out how to curl my hair, because i have never in my life curled my hair before, and i just tried it with a fly iron which made it hard and it failed so bad. But i finally figured out how to do it. One day i was just like: let's just do it and it worked so i'm gon na curl, my hair off camera, it's gon na. Take me like an hour. Probably all right guys. My hair is all curled now and i got a little hungry while i was doing my hair and i grabbed some cheetos wait. What cheez-its i grabbed some cheez-its um, it's like one time now and yeah. So that's what my hair looks like from the back. You get some mirror glory shots to them, and now i think the first one i want to do is the half up half down look just because i'm so excited for that and that's kind of what i'm going for for my wedding. So i'm gon na be trying it on myself, even though i know i'm not gon na be as good as the pictures. So what this picture looks like is that she just took two um fishtail braids and then wrap them around like a crown on the back of her head. So i'm assuming that i don't know if she took the front pieces because i can't see the front of her hair. Maybe i think you know what i'm going to take these side chunks right here and then wrap them to the back. That way, i still have some stuff to shape my face in the front um, but also like now. I'M sad because i feel like i'm gon na ruin all the work i did with my curls by braiding it bro okay. This is gon na be a little bit tricky because i need to pull my hair back this way while braiding it at the same time. This is gon na be impossible. Guys it's gon na be possible. My arm is already hurting, i'm not buff. I can't how do hairstyles do this? This thing must work out like gee, whiz, okay, this is what i've got so far guys. That'S all. I have to show you that is so sad, okay guys, so i braided both sides. Let me try to show you. This is my attempt at my fishtail braid on one side and then the other side right here and now i am going to try to pull them back. So i have to use this, thank goodness, for this little side mirror to help me out um. It'S really hard, though i got ta get an elastic. Actually, no, i need bobby pins. I also like never ever use bobby pins just because to me they're so annoying, and i don't ever put my hair up myself so, like i don't really ever have uses for bobby pins. Okay, i love this all right. We'Re gon na start with one. At a time i wish, oh you guys can see me hello. I was gon na say i wish. I could see you guys while i do this, but like this is so hard. Okay, stay: okay, i'm just gon na like pin my hair in different parts and then try to like tuck them later. I'M gon na have to use so many bobby pins wow. I don't want to like ruin the hairstyle, though, by putting in bobby pins. Hopefully, this doesn't ruin it. I think that's why people usually get bobby pins that match your hair color, because then it doesn't matter. How do i do this? How do people do this? How do i hide this little bit in the front like legit, okay, i'm just gon na tuck, this little piece behind and try to stick this in here. I don't know why i decided to do three hairstyles in this video because i feel like one. It'S just a big struggle. Oh my gosh. This does not look good. That does not look good. You can't tell me that it's fine all right now. I have to figure out what i'm gon na do this chop it off like? Oh, my gosh. This is the back look. Oh, the back, doesn't look half bad. Actually, the back doesn't look half bad! It'S now this. What do i do with this? How do i hide this? Maybe i can tuck it back underneath what i just did no, but now mess it up. Oh maybe i could tuck it up here. Oh my gosh. I hit it somehow. I don't know how i hid those two pieces in the front, but i did it. Okay, wait. What does the back look like? I need to know. What does this look like wait? Wait! I can't see. I can't tell what is this? Oh, oh, it's a little saggy, but if i pull this all right, i think i did it. I think i fixed it. Okay, let me turn around, so you guys can see. This is my first hair look um. Hopefully you guys can tell what it looks like i put the braid right here. I don't know what i'm showing you guys but yeah. This is the first one, i don't think it's half bad honestly like for not being a hair, stylist and just guessing how this is done pretty proud, but i am over it. So, let's move on to the next one. Okay, before i change my hairstyle, i want my mom, who is a hairstylist to judge my my wedding, hair, okay, mom. Oh, this is your wedding hair. Did i do it? It is so hard. It is so hard. It looks cute. This is very secure. Like okay, i would probably the only thing i would do is like tame it with a little bit of fruit. Oh, i know it was so hard like this stuff. I love this stuff. That'S my favorite frizz stuff yeah. I use that but nothing slip that on, but you know what honestly you're gon na be outside and it's probably just gon na frizz again, but you'll also have a veil on that's true: did you choose one with the veil yeah? Okay, here's a better look of what i did to my hair uh. There were like i just took two fishtails and then i they just tied them back yeah. I don't know if that's what you're supposed to do, um but tucking in the tail. Let me show you: it was really hard because i was just trying to get rid of it, so i tucked it inside: okay, okay, all right we're gon na start off with some. What kind of braid is this? It looks like another giant fishtail braid, so i guess we're going to do a fishtail waterfall. You can like see my shoulder in the mirror. We'Re gon na try to do a giant, fishtail, waterfall braid. This is a boy difficult day. Hi hi you're welcome you're having fun. Yes, i'm doing all this like blindly like. I never practiced this before you're doing better than i could thanks. Oh my arm is too weak. Oh it's already created like bump it because i haven't kept my hair back tight yeah. Do you like my bump, oh yeah, for some reason this does not look right to me. Oh my gosh welcome to spencer and the dad jokes. You are okay, i'm just gon na continue doing this fishtail to the rest of my head. I give up on this one guys it was going good and then it went. Downhill literally went downhill to the point where i didn't know what i was doing and then i made it into a braid [ Laughter, ] yeah, you kind of kind of missed the half half the hair on your head. This time yeah i went down and i was supposed to be like a big braid that went like this and you just have a tiny braid that goes down at the bottom. I don't know how to do it. I made my own hairstyle um and i don't like it at all anyways, so this is the one we're gon na be doing next, i feel like this one's gon na be the easiest, because it's just a ponytail but with a bump it. So that's gon na be interesting, the bumping part, but i'm pretty sure i can do a ponytail. If i don't i'm gon na, be very disappointed in myself my curls are falling out there ugly um, but i decided to start with the bump. It part - and i found this thingy, which i think you use as a bumpet, so i don't know what i think you do. Is you like? Stick it right here, maybe and then okay round, two, maybe you like clamp it at the top. I'Ve never done this before i give up on the bump bit we're just going for the ponies. This is how this is. What causes tangles and split ends right here, rip off, okay, never mind ponyta, yes, wow! Maybe we should go with the unicorn instead. Okay, never definitely thank you should we definitely show up to our wedding with that all right you asked she like takes a hair to hide her elastic, so i'm gon na that's a lot of hair. I'M gon na take some of my hair and leave it out. Then you go like this and then you go like this and you take this and then you go like this and then you go like this and then you go like this and you go like this and then you have that and now i'm taking my hair, That i took out earlier, how close is this to the original? I would say it's not too far off. I think i got two out of three right like don't you think of all the hairstyles. Just the middle one was kind of a fail: yeah jesus, i'm a hair, stylist comment down below which one you like the best i swear.
