Hi I'm T Cooper, I'm in New York, City, makeup artist, hair stylist and co-founder of beauty and grooming company Metro. Look today we're going to talk about classic wedding hairstyles with French twist. One of my favorite French to his hairstyles is to get all that hair up off the face and put some height on top and put it into a nice pretty twist for this you're gon na need, of course, bobby pins. You'Re gon na need some hairspray and if your hair is not straight already, you're gon na eat there need to blow it out or you're. Gon na need a straightener. If you have really long hair like her, you can go for a two inch, but me I always use a one inch. So now, what we're gon na do is we're gon na take a comb. You can use a small tooth wide tooth. It doesn't matter whatever you prefer section off some hair on top and we're gon na tease to create some height and I'm gon na go on in with my hairspray and spray that in place. And then you can tell us a successful tease when you turn it to the side, and you see that all that height, of course, you're not gon na leave it that way. But the point of teasing is to go big and then you can tame it down. But if it's not big enough, it's harder to add volume, it's much easier to take volume away than it is to add volume and then we're gon na go from the top, and I did something I don't usually do. I usually tease from back to front, but I was just feeling teasing from front to back, but that's a personal option. If you want to tease going from front to back, do it that way? If you want to tease back to front as long as you get a successful tease, it doesn't really matter you smooth over all that hair on the top, so that you cannot see the tease so now that we've got all this smooth, I'm gon na turn it To the side, slightly, I'm just gon na push it up a little bit just like that, and then I'm gon na gather all that teased hair and I'm just gon na twist. It slightly shape it the way I want it and then I'm gon na pin it in place and you're, not even really gon na see this pin, but this is just to hold it in place. I like to do it that way, but it's not necessary. So then, you gather all the hairs of the hair and you can comb or brush it on the sides. However, it is you want to do it now we create our twist. You actually grab the hair and you literally twist it and then now with this hair. That'S left up here, you kind of bend that hair and then you incorporate it into the twist. That'S why you want to twist tight enough to where you get the sides slicked, but not too tight as to where you can't shove this hair inside and actually hide it, because that's what you're doing and then you start to pin it in place. Any way that you like it, French twists are so pretty, and you just shape it the way that you want it to look and you can pull it up, pull it down anything you want to do with it. I'M just gon na put one more pin right there, I'm just gon na smooth it on this side, give it a final spray and here's a shot of what it looks like from the back I'm tee Cooper, and thank you so much for watching you
