If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that the show must go on! Whether your wedding was pre-pandemic, post-pandemic, or paused because of the pandemic, the planning hasn’t ended and most likely got a little more complicated. This year we have seen an influx of intimate weddings and gatherings relying on the tiny details, and special moments rather than the typical big & bold weddings we were used to.

On the flip side of these more intimate weddings, brides have the opportunity to focus on the smaller details that sometimes get overlooked. Beautiful linens, cutlery, and bouquets, are some of the few things that now command your attention. But aren’t you forgetting something? The bride’s look is always number one - pre and post-pandemic!

The celebrity weddings over the past year have had some jaw-dropping looks and included vows from some of the biggest stars! Ariana Grande, Jeannie Mai, and many more tied the knot with elegant hairstyles that set Instagram’s radar off the charts.

Ariana Grande

Breaking the internet, Grande shocked us all when she revealed that she married Dalton Gomez. We all swooned over singer Ariana Grande’s wedding announcement! Grande wore her hair in classic Ariana fashion - a half updo. The sleek, simple look added a sweet and innocent vibe to her special day! Staying true to herself, her beauty shined naturally and her confidence was the true showstopper!

Cynthia Bailey

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey married her fiance Mike Hill during the pandemic with an over-the-top wedding, showing us all, the show can still go on! Bailey changed her gown and hair over her special day from her ceremony to reception and stunned everyone as they were introduced as husband and wife in her new modern hairstyle.

Bailey opted to change her look from a low bun at the ceremony to a long, mermaid curl for the evening look. Wearing her hair down, and with added length, her blonde modern curls left us all speechless with fun and let-loose look for the evening. She wore her hair with a middle part and kept her curls fresh and modern by using a wand and leaving her ends straight.

We love a good curl!

Step 1: Start by blow-drying your hair straight, using a paddle brush. Part your hair in the middle and divide your hair into small sections starting from below your ears, up and horizontally across your head.

Step 2: Use our Signature Curler to get the wand curl Bailey models. Wrap your hair about 2 inches away from your root and leave about 1-2 inches of the ends of your hair out of the wand, so that your ends stay straight.

Step 3: Once your head is curled, tussle your hair to loosen the curls a little and then follow by crowning your hair with a little glitz. We love our Pretty in Pearl Hair Clips to finish off the look.
