Welcome back today, we're gon na do something pretty complicated a couple of weeks ago. There was this fashion plug that came out on the internet and, if, happily, I guess featured me as one of the beauty stylists, you should pay attention to for Game of Thrones, hair, styling and I'll link to it up here. It was really super awesome thanks. You guys so much for helping me get to that point in the paragraph that introduced my video. However, it sort of said that since no one has done Sansa's, wedding, hair, yet blah blah blah blah, let's show you this and I thought. Oh, that's a challenge. If I've ever heard one so today we're going to do Santa's wedding here, it's like I said before it's pretty complicated if you haven't ever hairstyle before I haven't experienced doing your hair. This probably isn't a good thing for you to start with, because you have to have good dexterity. You have to be able to control your hair and get to do it, want it to do pretty well, but if you're still wanting to do this, let me show you all the materials in the materials you're going to need first off things to wrap your hair Around she has these big long, hair freedom in our hair, and so what I'm going to be using for this video are these thingies if you've ever been small or anything like that and see those hair Donuts that are mesh that are for making buns that's what These are, I just cut them up and then sew two together. This is going to be the main roller that you're gon na be using. So you need two large hair donuts for this. You also need something that's slightly smaller. This is two small hair rolls try to get it as close to your hair color as possible, but I couldn't find any red one. So I have to use this light brown and then you also need one one more small one. So, like I said, just cut it in half like that, and you just need that you don't need to sew this one to anything. If you don't have any of these and you can't find them anywhere at your stores, you can try to get creative with stuff. In your house, you just need something: that's flexible and tubular that you can wrap your hair around, hopefully soft too, something that won't catch your hair or there's a third option that you can do that. I was gon na do until I found these. Actually, you can do what's actually historically accurate is called making a hair wrap this. That'S exactly what it looks like a bunch of old hair that you bunch up, wrap around itself and start forming whatever shape you want, looks gross, I'm sorry. Lots of people have done it before it's been used for centuries and, if you think about it, that's dead hair. This is dead hair. This is dead cells that are coming out of your head. There'S really no difference, especially if you gather that hair up from like the shower. So if you like, when you're in the shower comb out your hair, a little bit with your comb, if you get this piece of stick it to the wall and then after your shower gather it up and wrap it around, you can also take it from your Brushes and stuff that falls on the ground when you're blowing blow drying your hair. Anything like that. It took me about a week to make make this just from, because I had a lot of hair, my hair brushes, but if I was going to be using that for all three these wraps, I would it would take a lot longer. So you have to plan ahead. If that's the method you want to do, you're also going to need some soft string. This is like nylon, I'm pretty sure something's smooth and has a little bit of presence. You know it's a little thick. This is gon na be for wrapping around and decorating. One of your hair rolls next you're gon na need several small hair ties like this at least six. I want to say eight six or eight remember right now and then you're gon na need as many bobby pins as you can possibly gather up if you're not like swimming in these already, you should probably go to the store and get another package just to be Sure you can also have some hairspray. This will help you get the finishing look done because rolling the hair isn't often very smooth, so this can help you smooth it down and then finally, handy-dandy hair brush ready, get started begin by locating the place on your head. That is halfway between your neck and forehead hair lines. This is where the center hair roll will sit. Now between that middle section and the front hairline split the hair in half horizontally secure this front half out of the way for now, like my email, unicorns Dale. Here now gather up the remaining hair between the middle location in your forehead rush. It up to make it as smooth as possible grabbing your largest rolling device roll up the section of hair in the forward direction. As you go slide, the roll hair out towards the ends once you get to your scalp, secure both ends of the roll with a couple bobby pins to your head slide the rule tire outward so that you can cover the ends of the roll device. Once you get it out to the edges, pin it in place now smooth all the hair on the roll forward and pin it tight by hooking it in front with a bobby pin and pushing the pin under the roll. Now we're going to decorate the roll with our string. This is easiest if you have a large yarn needle to thread the string through, but I don't so. Instead, I'm time one end of the string to the crook of a large bobby pin whenever threatened device you're using stick it underneath the end of the roll from the front so that it comes out the back side pull the string most of the way through now Thread the string through the front again an inch or two farther down the roll so that the string wraps over at the top of the roll when you pull tight, wrap the string around the roll. This way, all along the length of the roll. Once you get to the other end, double back and make X patterns out of the wrap string, once you get back to the start, pin the string ends under the rule, apply some hairspray and smooth the rolled hair forward again to fix some of the flyaways. Now we're going to roll up the hair, that's along your forehead brush out again, grab your middle sized roller and wrap up the hair in the forward direction again. Pin the ends down so that the roll is right up against the other one smooth the hair forward and pin in position from the front. This roll will stay bare, so hair spray it now and smooth down. The flyways now gather a small section of hair behind the large roll to make the last one wrap it around the remaining roller. You have this time towards the back slide. The rolled hair out towards the ends again and pin in place right up against the large roll to make the rolls most secure. I'M going to pin them to each other here, since the rollers I'm using are mesh now take a small section of hair on one side of the back roll and turn it into a rope. Braid make an equal size throughout parade with the section of hair from the opposite side of the roll as well. You wrap these braids around the outside of the two front rolls and pin in the front underneath the front row. You now find equal sized sections of hair from behind your ears and also rope braid them drape these rope braids over the rolls from behind secure them in the front, underneath the front roll about two-thirds of the way along the rolls. This way they will cross in the back. If your hair isn't quite long enough to get over, all three rolls you can pin them in between the front and middle one or even the back in middle one. Yeah more rub. Braids take two sections of hair from the nape of your neck, this time about where the two tendons back there meet the skull right to the ends and secure with an elastic drape. These braids, as well over the rolls and secure two-thirds of the way along the length so that they cross in the back for these braids. My hair isn't quite long enough, so I'm pitting the ends of these rope. Braids between the front and middle rolls. Finally split. The remaining hair in half and cross the sections toward the opposite shoulders, bring it each of these sections into rope, braids and secure the ends with an elastic the King's Landing. Ladies, never secure the ends of these braids, but if you want to move around at all, while wearing the style without fixing the braids every five minutes, securing them as your best bet, I'm putting two decorative pins in the front as a final touch and voila. It'S all done if you want to really turn heads. This is the hairstyle for you. If you like this, please check out my other tutorials on my channel, see Boothbay and have a great day.

Dorothy Taylor: Given the fact the actresses on the show have professional hair stylist, you can do it yourself in an awesome way. Amazing!

neoscorpiooo: I'm a 21 year old male watching this video and thinking, "Wow, I wish I had hair like that." Epic job on the hair , good ma'am.

BrokenDarkFire: I kept reaching up to try a rope braid. Then I would remember I cut off all my hair. Congratulations. Your fantastic hair tutorial has made me actually regret a little cutting off so much hair.

Abi Brown: This hairstyle is SO great!! It looks just like Sansa's hair (and you look just like her as well!). Before I got a doughnut thing, I used a thick sock, cut of the end so it's got two holes, one either end, and rolled it into a doughnut. I don't think it would work that well if you cut it, but if you're just looking for a ring then you could do that instead.

Mari F.: Amazing! My mom believes the hair artists in the series used a lot of hair extensions to make that 'donut'... Plus I was wondering if maybe you could do a tutorial on Sansa's hair from Winterfell on Season 01 when the Lannisters and Starks are having dinner in Winterfell and she introduces herself to Cersei...

Snake 27: I like that you included the historically accurate method too , awesome tutorial! Have a great day

maddy larson: THIS IS AMAZING!  I need to try this. I've always wanted to try Sansa's hair out of curiosity but never knew where to start.

Emily H: Wow thank you so much! I'm looking to do a style like this for my wedding and your tutorials are very easy to follow

Evan Phoenix: This is really really amazing! Sicne I am currently sewing Sansa's wedding dress, I finally know how to do the hair appropriately! Thank youuuuu! Also I loved the hair rat part XD

demitour: Wow! This is really impressive! I heard that for Sansa's crazy updos they preferred to use a wig instead of styling her natural hair. Thanks for making such a great tutorial video.

Celia Shaheen: Thank you so much! I've been wanting to recreate this hairstyle but didn't know how to make the rolls. I can't wait to wear it! :)

Phuong Nguyen: amazing amazing job! thanks for all the time and effort you put into making these videos :)

SeaOfRabbitz: Amazing! I need to grow my bangs out so I can try out all your awesome hair tips.

Collette Landwer: No, I do t want to wear this style ... but I could spend hours watching you put it up. I’m amazed that you create such intricate designs on yourself ... if I ever gave this a try, I’d have to have a model in front of me. ❤️❤️

Snake 27: Looks interesting and priestess like , I´m the kinda person who wears these out when I feel like it but I can´t imagine this not falling off of my head just by walking with the amount of hair I have XD

elizabethdalloway: O.M.G!!!! Again, OMG! First, with this hairstyle you look just like Sansa. Second, that took some real skill, I envy that. Sadly I'll never be able to wear it due to my curls. Even so AWESOME! Thank you and keep it coming. Oh and could you please do another Margaery hairstyle? :)

shade26598: I wish I could play with my hair like this, but I'm in the process of growing out some pretty extreme layers, and they're still too short to do anything with. Loved the hairstyle!

Rachel Richey: Holy crap this is seriously amazing!!! You're so awesome!

Cara Ellen: Hey :) It is so awesome of you, that you Are doing all these wonderful tutorials, and I really want to say thank you. I think I will join your patreon soon as well, to support you in every way possible for me

sophie: This is amazing, as usual.

April Erzetich: Loved it! just what i was looking for. i have a long sausage thing thats like the cut up -sewn together donuts you used, been trying to work out how to use it, thanks so much!

Amanda Emilie: Wow amazing! I think it doesn't look  so hard. It might be tiresome and time consuming, though. I don't have long enough hair to do this yet.

bobsled-philosophy: You even look like a slightly older Sansa.  Amazing job~

Helen Rowlett-Barbu: This is like my favorite hairstyle ever

Jinxxess: whow, this is so beautiful. It seems to be easy to make... - i think ^^

Sangria M: This is amazing!

Martha Leighton: did you know that back in Victorian era women used to collect their hair from brushes and would make jewelry from it very interesting and weird... lol

Jen Hemp: thank you so much for all your work!

nikishka258: creating this must have been an arm workout xD amazing tutorial xD

Marianne Forest: I actually want to wear this when I'll get married.

Camila Dolores Torales: I always wanted to know how to do this hairstyles! u r amazing!

Yev Simtchenko: Gosh !! I love your work ! I've got 25-30 cm hair, russian quality, I want so mutch to do some fantasy stuff with them, for men... Getting desperate and none of my friends are interested with helping me to find something... You're doing a great job !

Luisa Linkenbach: This is insane!!

Cilo Athenis: You mentioned how on the show they don't use elastics. You could tease the end of the braid to make it secure. :)

--: YASSS THIS IS SUCH A NICE TUTORIAL

Yvainnie: You really look like Sansa. And awesome like always.

Christine Gallo: 10:45 this is really nitpicky but those aren’t tendons, it’s the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It allows you to bend your head forward and, if you flex it along with the muscles at the very back, to turn your head to the side

cometome255: Hmm, does anyone know how I can do these amazing hairstyles on thick hair? I actually hate not being able to do these amazing GoT styles!!

Ashley Bostick: Now to figure out how to convert this to wig form. *Intense stare*

Sarah Schfl: Amazing! No words...

Sabrina Louis: That hair rap may seem gross but is such a cool idea! Love your videos:)

Reta Anna Maria: Amazing!

Carolina: I know I'm years late for this comment, and maybe what I'll suggest has even been said in another video, but I'd like to say that you could use sewing thread the colour of your hair instead of elastics to secure the rope braids, or any kind of thin braid. it's more discreet than the elastics, and works better with thinner braids ;) (sorry if I made any mistake, english isn't my first language)

moxiegirl37: I can't believe I just found you! But then...honestly my hair just got long enough to actually do something with. But I am so glad I found you!!!

apple-chan: Wow you look really like Sansa o.o you're so awesome :)

Charlie Adams: This is frickin awesome!

Jody Hakala-Ristow: You are brilliant and now have stronger arms!@ jeepers. Great video. So creative. I love you showed the old dead hair.

inspiredzone: *slowclap* Amazing. I hope you after all that effort, you wore this out of the house, like to the grocery store or something. It would be worth the weird stares to show it off.

Iaterocks: guys if you can't find hair buns use stuffed stockings.

Kristina Smith: This show so much patience. I feel like it would be hard to take out too with all the elastics and pins.

Amy zzz: I used to use (my hair color) hosiery to stuff in the buns to make them bigger when I made Princess Leia buns. :)

Kricken_x3: You look like sansa stark..

Yerisina: Wow, that's really complicated! xD Great job.

Doglover14: best one yet its identical to the real deal

Misha Kroon: Could you do normal 3 strand braids instead if the rope braids... I can do them, but they can be fiddly for my slightly arthritic fingers... That's is if I don't mind it not being so authentic (:

Genevieve Meredith: Wow, how do you know how to do that hairstyle? Goodness me!

sepifi: Wow...you look just like her! :)

amber6675: WOW!!

Snooze skovsmed: holy shit that's amazing!

Al Agorical: wow. just wow <3 Alice x

A G: holy shit that is amazing

Hello_Cristine: Super !!

chocolateymilkshards: Moments when I wish I was a girl.

Jen Hemp: you are mad talented

Alexandra Meininger: you even look like sansa :) <3

TengwarSoup: I don't actually know anything about game of thrones, but I just clicked on this because of the thumbnail. I think I'll make a single large roll at the front of my hair and put the rest in a boring ponytail. Then, I'll put on some shorts and a T-shirt and go on a jog. Wish me luck!

광수 바보 아니다: That's impressive.

Lanah Denis: WOWWWW oh my!

Mrs. B.: You could've played Sansa yourself :D

Teri Dee Kostos: Bridesmaid hair!!

Madeline Armstrong: please tell me this isn't your last game of thrones hair tutorial???

Kaydi Fogle: I bet it's even more complicated to take down than to put up o.o

Andrea Luque: You actually look like sansa :)

kartoshka1offical: i dont think someone will go to school or work with that !

Teri Dee Kostos: What cyan think? For the wedding?

Carola Deschamps: you can buy an old wig and make a hair rat

moxiegirl37: I heard it fine but I was using my headphones. It was loud enough that I bet you could hear it well if you stream it through an app on your TV too. Computers have terrible speakers too, well...laptops do. Perhaps some speakers for your computer? Just some ideas. It's hard to hear these kinds of things on your compy sometimes.

Veerlejf: Thanks, I didn't notice it.

Stephanie Mendoza: you really do look alike!

LaceyGracey: I don't know if it's like this for everyone, but I can barely hear you on full volume.

Doglover14: turn everything up to full volume

nerwen0706: woaaaw

Josette Fret: Why is the sound almost non existent?

Veerlejf: Your link doesn't work for me :(

Rey O'Rourke: well I can hear you just fine

Richard Ames: She looks a lot like my ex-wife.

AJ Boff: Its really quiet for me too.

cometome255: Daaaamn, don't your arms hurrtttt? Omg, I'd die.

Carolyn Cole: sorry, sweetie. I turned everything up and I still can't hear you.

Cassandra Bevan: What a pity I can't hear a word you're saying.

Emily E: wow girl you've been busy!
