The first hairstyle is very quick and simple and only requires some hair accessories to accent the hair, the second is a ponytail with a cute twist to make it stand out and finally, we have a bun hairstyle which is a classic look for any special event.

Hey guys welcome back since prom and bridal season are fast approaching us. I thought I would share with you today three elegant, yet simple hairstyles. That would be perfect for any special occasion that you might have coming up. This is actually one of the hairstyles and maybe I'm biased, but you guys it's so cute. I can't wait to hear what you guys think so, let's just go ahead and get started all right to quickly prep. I just curled my hair with a one and a quarter inch barrel and then for formal events I like to pin my curls so that they hold longer and then a quick spray of hairspray, and I waited about five minutes before I unclip them. Next, I added some volume and texture powder to add lift at the crown, and this also gives the curls a more PC. Look alright for this first hairstyle. All you need are some bobby pins, starting in the middle at about ear height pinch, a small bunch of hair and insert your first bobby, pin diagonally down towards the left. Alright, so take your second bobby pin and insert it diagonally upwards to the left. Now the trick to this hairstyle is to make sure that your bobby pins are open enough when you insert them so that the top of the pin stays on top of the hair, so that you can see it. This will create an X and then repeat the same steps to the left of that cross. Inserting one bobby, pin diagonally down and then place your second bobby pin diagonally upwards, making another X. Now, once you cut that down, you are good to go. Just keep repeating that pattern on both sides. You could also create a hashtag shape or a star. Even no pattern would look really beautiful now, once you're ready to pin that last X just pull back some of the hair at the side of your head, so it kind of swoops backwards and then your bobby pins can hold it out of the way. Then pinch and pull on the top to help create even more volume and detail, and then I just finished off the look with some texture spray guys. How cute is this? It'S just simple and fun way to dress up a down hairstyle for any occasion. Next up is Anne easy, yet chic twisted ponytail so begin by tightly gathering in the hair at the crown of your head and then give it one tight twist clockwise so to the right now hold that twist. With your right hand, while you gather a small section of hair from the left beside that previous section, then a Holt twist and your new section with your left hand, as you gather, a small section of hair from the right side, join both sections together and tightly Twist them clockwise so again just hold your twist with your right hand and gather a small section from the left side and then hold your twist with your left hand, while you gather a small section from the right side join your two sections together, give them a Little twist and just keep repeating that pattern down the remainder of your hair, oh and don't worry too much about sectioning the hair perfectly, because the best part about this hairstyle is the less perfect. The better. Now, once you're near the bottom make sure to tightly gather the hair at your neck, especially on the right side and make sure it's incorporated into your final twist, then starting at the top. Take a bobby, pin and just hook a small section of hair on the outside of your twist and then slide. The bobby pin underneath I'll, show you one more time so come in from the left hook, a small section and then slide underneath the twist and then just keep repeating down the entire twist until it feels nice and secure. I find these particular bobby pins work very well, but if you're having a hard time with it staying you can also use u pins. They are amazing, make sure to secure all of the hair at your neck with some bobby pins, and then I added one roller pin up the center just to lock everything in place and then my hair needed a major touch-up at this point. So I just added some more curls and then some pearl bobby pins. To finish off the look. I love this hairstyle. You guys, I think it's so beautiful and unique and I think it'd be a really bold choice for any special occasion. I love it. Lastly, we have an elegant, yet simple button, so gather the top layer of hair at the back of your head and give it about a half twist to the left, while slightly pushing it up to create some volume at the crown, then secured into place with some Bobby pins right at the base of your head once secure pinch and pull on some hollow sections of hair, and this will help add more detail and volume to the hairstyle. Next gather all of your hair and pull out any small sections to frame your face, then secure all your hair into a ponytail where you would like your bun to sit all right now for the bun. This is my favorite type of bun, so place your hand underneath your ponytail right below the base and then bring your ponytail underneath your hand and up to the right side. This will create a fold next hold the fold in place with your left hand, while you continue to wrap your ends up and over your ponytail then continue tightly wrapping your ends underneath your bun next hold up bun tightly against your head. As you hook, small sections of the outset of your bun with bobby pins and slide them towards the center to secure your bun into place, and of course, you can always dress up the hairstyle by adding some pretty hair accessories, which are very in trend right now. I just love how simple yet elegant this hairstyle is: it's definitely a favorite of mine for special occasions there we have with you guys I can't wait to hear which hairstyle was your favorite and if you do end up recreating any of these hairstyles. I mean, when I get down to braiding or even touching my hair, it ends up in knots all over my head, "feathers" sticking out everywhere and fitful of torn hair. They lack volume and are totally straight and thin. That's why I keep them mostly in a ponytail (because even when I let them down it's horrible) but whenever I run across your tutorials I just rebel :'(. And it is not that I don't care about them.
