Hey it's jackie and welcome back to my channel for a series of daphne bridgerton hairstyles from the new netflix show. Bridgerton i've been loving, the show i binge watched it i'm watching it again just so. I can get all these hairstyles right, but um. If you haven't watched it, it's a gorgeous like period drama and i love all the costumes hairstyles. The duke is gorgeous. I thought daphne was stunning, so i picked out some of my favorite looks and i hope you guys, like the ones i picked out and uh yeah. First video of 2021 hope you guys had a great break. Let me know what other netflix shows you've been binge watching and as always, i love it when you tag me in your recreations, so i can feature you and let's get started with these. Daphne looks this first. Daphne look is an easy and cute everyday style. That looks super elegant with optional baby bangs, first brush out your hair, and these looks on daphne were on a wig, so the hair going into the braided sections were very defined, but my hair is thinner a bit silkier, so i don't get as much definition without A bit of a styler, so i'm using this wax spray and it adds a bit of wax to help separate the strands a bit and showcase the detail going into the braid now divide a small section from your part and divide this into three and we'll start With the braid, what makes this braid unique is, instead of weaving the strands over each other and including more hair like an irregular french braid, we're going to weave each strand under and add in a very small section from the top of the part, as well as The hairline, so we have a pop-out braid with small pieces feeding into the shape everyone's hairline and thickness of the hair is different. So, on daphne there's about six distinct pieces going into the braid on the top and the bottom and her braid was pushed a little bit further back on the head. You can recreate this any way you want. If you want to see the braid when you're facing forward, have it a little bit closer to the hairline or if you want more of a sweat back, look then push it further back, i'm repeating the same steps on the other side, so adding in some styler And then creating a lace, dutch braid and with the sections you want them to be very small pieces from the part and the hairline. You don't have to take a whole section, just the very top piece - and this will look more like daphne. If the pieces are small and consistent and have a small space between them, as you pick them up once you've tightly, braided do a couple wefts to finish off the braid and then pin in an x under the hair and now it's time to style the braids. So they appear softer and more romantic at the very start of the braid. We want the top section to poof up, so you get a u shape going into the braid and then because my hair is thinner, i was finding it hard to get that pc. Look. So i took a styler one more time and sprayed it as i grouped together the pieces as well as the section on top for the bangs. I saw a lot of hate comments about her baby bangs throughout the series, so you can always skip this, but for recreation's sake i decided to take two tiny pieces of fake hair. I cut this from the bottom of an old extension i had and it was already curled and then i use a high hold hairspray, that's going to kind of cement them together. I always use the ogx bamboo fiberful big hairspray. This will really keep it in place and then i'm placing this cemented section under the first section of the braid, not perfect, but it works great for a photo and then i don't have to mess with bobby pins that can mess up the braid and everything to Complete the look you want to curl towards your face with a tapered wand and daphne's hair was pretty undone, so you don't have to have the hair on the barrel. Very long quickly go through to have some soft movement and i always love to fluff up curls with my go-to hairspray. My hair is a bit longer than daphne's, but i still wanted to get that spiral curl at the bottom, so i'm brushing out and then gathering it into a ringlet curl. I like to do this by brushing and then i'll tease it a little bit as i'm reshaping. The hair and blue is totally daphne's color. If you have a blue top with a fluttery sleeves you're good to go. If you're still watching make sure to comment. The pop culture password, which is where one suitor goes, the rest, will surely follow daphne wears a lot of half up half down dues and my favorite was with a unique oversized black bow so first brush out your hair and create a half up, half down look Secure with a small, clear elastic, i made this ponytail slightly to the right, because i'm gon na create a loop later and i want the loop to be in the center. And then i was gon na skip the bangs, but it just did not give a daphne vibe without them. So these are makeshift bangs that were the under layer of a full set of clip and bangs from bellamy. I cut them really short and they're more red than i wanted them to be. So i took a dark eyeshadow and i'm trying to cover up the band, that's showing because they were not supposed to look like this and then i added a warmer reddish brown through my hair at the front near the bangs to try to blend it in not Perfect, but it was great for recreation photo and if you have bangs, you can leave them out or for a romantic look. You can leave some small pieces and curl them and now take a piece underneath that ponytail and create a simple braid. You want the braid to be big enough, that it stands out in the hair, but you don't want to take too much away that you have like a gap in the back of your hair and then for the big bow. I just took a long piece of black ribbon and folded the sides in half and glued with a hot glue gun. I did that three times with slightly smaller pieces. Each time to create this ribbon. Look now take that braid. You can expand it a bit. If you want it to be a little bit more flat or stand out more in the hair and then bring it around the bow, creating a circle, i used auburn bobby pins in case they peek out, so that they weren't as noticeable as black split the ponytail. In half or just make this smaller to begin with and then fold upwards, creating a loop pin at the side of the loop and the top of the loop, the less hair, the easier it is to have the hair stay in place. And then i wanted the hair to have a bit more of a curl, so i curled it and then using that wave, i'm finishing off that first loop and then pin curling the bottom to have another circle with an opposite spiral. So it's really a figure. Eight shape i wish i softened this up a bit, maybe i'm being way too hard on myself, but um. It could have been just a little more perfect, but i love this shape and i add a little diamond later to showcase that movement, but first, let's curl using that same tapered wand, towards the face. I tend to use wands much more than curling irons. Maybe it's just force a habit, but the curl seems to last longer on my hair and i've had this set since i started youtube, so it seriously lasted and i curl all in one direction, with a similar amount of hair and once all of that side is Curled, i will spiral them together and crunch them as they're cooling, to get a big curl, because my hair is quite a few inches longer. I wrapped the ends around my finger and added a bobby pin. This is like a pin curl just at the bottom. This works for shortening the hair for a photo, but if you do leave this for a while when the curl is setting, if you take it out, you will have that spiral. Curl and it'll last longer and look more authentic, but i just left the bobby pin in to have a similar length for the back. I curled it towards the face on the other side and then just pushed it aside, and i added a diamond with duo glue. It wasn't a pin um, so i just used some glue and it turned out fine. It brushed out of my hair very easily. It wasn't like gum or anything and there's my fave unique. Daphne look. I couldn't get it out of my head and this top is gorgeous. It was very expensive it's from revolve, but i have no regrets buying it because i've used it in so many looks now so i'll have it linked, and i added a black ribbon around the waist to tie together. This next look is when simon educates, daphne at the end of their promenade - and this is my third day hair. So it's not as fresh as when i started, but i do love to do this type of style when i need to wash my hair, so i've clipped in the bangs again they're, not perfect. This is just kind of for fun, but put your hair in a half up, half down ponytail like the last look and then braid the length and secure with a little elastic, and you can fan this out if you need it to be a little bit thicker. Looking to get this exact look, if you have hair similar to mine, you might want to add in a couple of extensions you'll see i get the shape right, but it was a little bit less of a thick braid than her look. But i wanted this to be just wearable and pretty easy to achieve so you saw with the remaining hair. I brought up into a ponytail right underneath the first one, and you want to braid this again with the bottom. Braided ponytail create a bun and leave out the end to the side, pin around the base of the bun, and you want this to be a pretty tight and then the end of the braid will wrap around the front of the top of the first pony. So this is where i could have used some extensions for thickness, but it still works like this, so the braids off to the side and with the top braid push it forward. So you can see at the top of the braid when you're, looking straight on and pin in an x underneath so that the braid topples over the head and bring this wrapped around the bottom bun to bring the two braided buns together. Don'T worry about it! If you see an elastic at the side there, because we're going to add a floral hair piece that will cover this up anyways and with the end of the braid that we left out earlier, bring this around the front of the bun. Now we have an interesting updo, that's not too hard to do and then add a floral piece to get the look. You could use a bow a couple clips, but it is really nice to have an accessory that has quite a bit of volume so that you don't have to have. You know tons of volume on either side of your hair. You can just kind of focus it on one and then add an accessory on the other side makeup. I kept it very light and natural, and i was going to do this. Curly, half up half down do as well as this braided up to, but i felt like this video was getting a bit long. So if you guys love this video, let me know in the comments um i'll kind of gauge the enthusiasm and see if i should do a part two. So let me know if you loved emily in paris. I did do a series of looks for that show. As well or maybe you are looking for something a little bit more modern, i have a series of 90s hairstyles that you might want to check out thanks again for watching and i'll see in my next one
