5 Companies That Sell Kinky Curly Clip Ins That Match Your Hair Texture

Kurly KlipsI don’t know about you, but protective styling is my go to when I don’t want to be bothered with my hair. Extensions* are awesome because they give is the opportunity to tuck our hair away but still have versatile styling options.

Natural hair clip ins* and extensions* are a top choice for many naturals and transitioners, because it allows us to blend the hair with our own tresses, as well as play with versatile length and styling options. So where do we get these magical clip ins from? We’ve created a list of five companies that sell natural hair clip ins.

Kurly Klips (www.kurlyklips.com)

Kurly Klips are great extensions if you want a less defined curl pattern(see lead picture). They also sell wefts and closures* on the site. The prices on this site are decent; they range from $159-$199.

The names are all cute too: for looser and longer curls, try the Bob Cat Spirals (12 inches when straight), Mermaid Spirals, or the Shoulder Chic Spirals. For kinkier textures (and shorter), try the Mermaid Fro, Bob Cat Fro, or the Shoulder Chic Fro. The only drawback to this site is that you can’t really choose or customize hair length.

Curl Sistas (www.curlsistas.com)

You may want to check out Curl Sistas if you’re looking for something that mimics natural hair completely. Written about by plenty of magazines (including Essence), the three types of hair are named as following: Adaeze Kinky Curl for 4b-4c, Chima Curl for 4a, and Chi Chi Curl 3b-3c.

And if you have questions about how to install the hair don’t worry, they have Youtube tutorials embedded on the site. The lengths options are between 14″ and 20″, and the price ranges from $160-200. You can even purchase hair samples (with free domestic shipping) for $5.99 if you need help choosing a curl pattern.

Heat Free Hair (www.heatfreehair.com)

Heat Free Hair was actually one of the first companies I came across a few years ago that sells natural hair extensions*. The names are: Koils, Kurls 3c-4a, and Kinks.

They come in varying lengths between 16″ and 24″. The quality of the hair is great, and it’s good that it caters to naturalistas with mixed textures. From personal experience, however, I know that you have to take care of this hair and maintain it to keep it in its best condition. Also, this hair is a little pricier than the others, retailing between $189 to $239 per pack.

Kinky Curly Yaki (www.kinkycurlyyaki.com)

clip ins

This website has a lot in variety for those trying to find natural hair extensions* and clip ins. In addition to their kinky curly, Afro kinky curly, and Afro coily curl patterns, they also have both light and coarse Yaki, and well as kinky straight hair.

This is way better for naturals than bone straight hair because it better matches our hair type. The prices are also reasonable, starting at $93 and increasing, depending on length and weight of the bundles. For an extra $5, they even have the option to wash the hair for you before shipping.

Haute Kinky Hair (www.hautekinkyhair.com)

haut kinks

Haute Kinky Hair is a website similar to Kinky Curly Yaki. Their three hair types mimic the most common hair types in the natural hair community: 3b, 3c/4a, and 4b/4c. You can find them on their website listed as Haute Coils, Haute Curls, and Haute Kinks. Prices also range on this site, starting at $165.
