3 Ways to Make Your Hair Blonder Overnight

While getting your hair blonder can be naturally done with sunlight, baking soda, tea and many other natural colorings it requires time and patience. If you’re aiming for blonder hair with a faster outcome, then there are several techniques to follow.

Let’s Make Hair Blonder Overnight!

If your hair is already blond, it will be easier to get it blonder than if it were a darker shade. But nonetheless, it will still get brighter. There are several techniques and recipes to get this job done overnight and here are some of them. Here are 3 ways you can make your hair blonder quick and easy.

Option 1: Lemon Juice

Lemon Juice

This is one of the most known and common methods used, but it works more on an already blond hair than on a dark one.

  • Mix lemon and leave-in conditioner with a 1:2 part ratio.
  • Rub the conditioner through your hair and let it spread to all your hair before covering it up with a towel or a shower cap. Then sleep with it still on and the next day you’ll have sun-kissed blond hair.
  • Don’t forget to rinse your hair before going out though.

Option 2: Cinnamon Paste

Cinnamon Paste

Mix 4 tbsp. of cinnamon with 6 tbsp. of conditioner to get the paste done.

Apply this paste to your hair and rub it so that it spreads from top to bottom and covers all your hair. Cover your hair then with a plastic shower cap and keep it overnight. Rinse your hair in the morning and you’ll find a difference in the color shade from what it was before. The more you apply this method, the brighter your hair will get.

Option 3: Henna Powder

Henna Powder

This is a faster method than the ones before, it takes about 2 hours only instead of all night!

Ingredients:

Henna powder, chamomile powder, boiling water.

Mix equal amounts of each powder and add them to boiling water. Add enough powder to make a thick paste though. After mixing them with boiling water, leave them to cool before applying them to your hair. Again, cover them with a plastic shower cap and leave them for about two hours if your hair is dark, else you might want to leave it for less than that. After the required time passes rinse your hair thoroughly.

While these methods will make your hair lighter and are preferable because they don’t require any chemicals that may ruin your hair, they are not permanent and can’t turn your hair completely blond if you have dark hair. So, if you want the color to last longer, or weren’t satisfied with the shade you’ve reached, then you might want to use a hair dye or go to a hairdresser to get it done for you.
