So foreign hello, do: i have to start again doll freaking, now, hey gorgeous and welcome to my channel, i'm kopaneshmang, and this is how i do things the show where you send me your questions and i'll. Let you know how i do things now. I can take it as entertainment or use it as advice use, it don't use it. Take it don't take it at all, listen do what you will with it. I am no professional on a very serious note: i'm not a professional i'm just letting you know what i would do for some new shoes. I greet you in the name of all things christmas and i hope that you are enjoying your time with friends or family wherever you are around the world now i want to keep this video nice and short, so i thought i should show you how i achieve This gorgeous high bun. No, it is not my hair, it is a ponytail and i don't even use a single comb to achieve this. Look here is a close-up look of the fabulousness that is on my hair, and here are the five quick and easy steps to achieve this look. Okay, so i haven't done a hair tutorial in a while, so i feel like i'm a little out of practice, but anyway, let's get into it step number one is for me to use a spray bottle to make my hair damp. Now you can use any old spray bottle. You can take one that you have product in it or an empty one and fill it with water and spray it now. I start my morning, almost in my hair, almost every single morning for filming. So this means that my hair gets water every day. It is both very hydrating, and it also makes my hair very easy to style and stretch, which is what i needed to do. I tried to avoid using a comb, so starting off with damp hair makes it super super easy step. Number two is to then moisturize my hair. Now, if i did not oil my hair the day before, then i will start off with the jamaican black, castor oil, which i love to use on my hair, my hair's absolutely loving it, and then i will put a cream on my hair. Now i am using the afro botanics triple butter, which is ah it's nice. It'S thick, it's great for my super thick 4c hair. So you want to start off with moisturized hair, to make sure it's easy to put into a style and to make sure it stays healthy, while you put it into a beautiful style, so then step number three is to put on a gel. This makes it super easy for me to pull my hair and it makes it really neat. So i have two go-to gels that i use, but you can use whichever gel works for you. The first is the dark and lovely curl power curl activating jelly. Now this is a styling um gel, however, it does not have any hold. So if you want something, that's going to hold your hair, especially have shorter hair, then you want to reach for the cantu maximum hold moisture retention, styling gel, which also has flaxseed and olive oil. I love this one. It holds your hair without giving it a crunch right now. I actually want to use this one, which is my go-to i'm and it's super affordable as well. So i'm going to take like a nice big chunk, i'm going to put it all over my hands and i'm literally just going to put all of my hair and specifically the edges of my hair and i'm then going to start pulling upwards. The reason why i'm pulling upwards is because i'm trying to stretch my hair towards the center, the more you do, this, the more flat your pony or your pigtail, is going to be so once i get to the front, i'm then going to start pulling towards the Center and this time i'm gon na hold it there and every time i stretch my hair, i'm just going to add it to the hair at the top in the center. Then i'm going to pull for a string, i'm going to look for a string. This is actually a soft dread that a full lock that i use to wrap my hair. I found that it's not. It doesn't tag on my hair, so i try and avoid using wool, and i try avoid using like elastics that will put on my hair. This is super gentle. That'S why i use it. So i want to do a bun with this hair because i'm going to put on extra hair on top of it, so once i wrap it around, i tuck it in, and i'm done so once i'm done doing. My nice bun, i'm then going to move on to step number four, which is to lay my edges or just to style my edges right now, i'm using boiti's halo heritage, edge control gel. She has a whole range of products, but i am actually loving this edge. Gel because it holds like a boss, the inside is actually pretty it's gold on the inside and, unlike other edge controls, it's actually not hard. It'S kind of soft, however, it holds really well. So i take a little bit and then i'm going to put that on my edges, then you're going to use a hair band. I usually use my satin band. However, i cannot find it right now, so you can use any satin cloth or um. If you have a hairband, that is all good you can use it. I'M just going to leave it like this for about five to ten minutes just to let our edges lay okay, so i have done my makeup honey and now i can remove this. It'S given me enough time for my hair to dry, so now that my makeup is done, you will see that i do have a line over there from the difference between my foundation and my non-foundation part of my face. So i'm just going to take my blending brush and i'm just going to move my makeup up. Okay, so now that i'm done with that, i'm going to move on to putting on my hair. This is an afro pony, which i got from darling and it is super easy to use. It has a drawstring and two clips, one hair comb in the front there. It is and another hair comb in the back. So i'm just going to release the drawstring and then i'm going to clip it in the front of my hair. Just put the comb in in the front of my hair and then put the comb in behind my pony and then pull the drawstring. So it's nice and tight and then always remember to hide the drawstring please and use a pin to secure it. So nobody sees it in public. I'Ve seen these drawstrings guys just walking around yes, my hair and then drawstring and fluff it out. However, if you're extra like mwah, you can style it, which is the last and final step which i just like two this time, i'm just gon na clip it up the higher the better. It'S christmas darling, it's christmas. I do want it up, but i don't want it hanging, so i'm just going to take groups of hay and just clip them in i'm satisfied. Yes, yes, it's too loose give it some shape. Yes, now you can go on and add some extra accessories. If you want to, however, i think i want to keep it a little simple for the christmas feels and the christmas you know just that simple, but cute bun. Now, if you want to mix it up, i have a video right here where i do mix it up with. You know, wrapping around some gold thread and then i pinned on some shells and some gold spirals, and it makes it look so good and so beautiful. So if you want your hair to look like a christmas tree, then you can definitely add that to your hair, and that is it. Those are my five steps to getting this beautiful. Look to having my hair, all nice and sleek with it. You know that's how i do it now. I hope that you enjoyed that one and maybe you'll try it out for your christmas lunch breakfast or dinner whatever it is that you are doing until next time, beautiful people - i'm kopana shimanya.
