So it's hair, cutting and bleaching time good morning, everybody by the way um. You join me on a monday with sofia, hi loads of you knows who fear loads of you always say how can we find sapir? Who does your hair um? I did pointless last week, sofia at the bbc and the makeup girl went. Who does your hair and i went well she's called severe, but i never know how people can find you. So what do we do? Do we leave a link below yeah, we'll leave a link below with all my details? This is the worst bit. Oh, it's growing. This is where, but look at your cut, it stays stay in shape, see how it stayed in shape hey in 10 weeks longer than 10 weeks, but look how it stays in shape now. Do you know what i love when superior comes? Not all of you will get this attention, but she's brought. Do you remember when um janae was born? She was how how many weeks was she when she was on my vlog when we were at your house, it was only a few weeks. She was literally a few weeks. I might insert a clip here because she was just the funniest baby. Look how she's turned out this is one of the most charismatic children. Janae, say: hello, janae, hello. How old are you now you're two two on tiptoes and she misses matilda, you miss bubba janae, always called matilda bubba, but look here's bubba, there's bubba and there's bubba when janae arrived. The first thing she said sofia was where's bubba, here's bubba, but we've told janae bubba's gone to a very special place: dog, heaven dog heaven and yes, there that's where she is. That'S where she is so look at it. She does such a good job. Ah, i'm so thrilled, i'm absolutely thrilled gosh, that's work. I want to show you something on the way into work. Oh sofia, by the way i will leave a sophia's email below if you want to find out more right. Something to show you down our tree is here: i love it when they put the tree up in our foyer good morning. Everyone i'm beginning to look a bit like barbara cartland. Aren'T i with them the roses and the pink anyway um. It is a gray old. What is it today, tuesday and anna webb is coming around here with i'm not sure how many dogs, i think she might, she said, she's only going to bring one dog because she's coming on the tube and it's the escalator you have to carry them. So i haven't seen prudence for ages. That'S her english bull, terrier or she might bring mr binks because she can tuck him under her arm. My friends are being so good. All my friends with dogs are just bringing them round so that i have a dog in my life in this flat because it is so odd um not having a dog, and that brings me on to not so that's a crazy thing to say it's not having A dog it's not having a dog in my life and not having a dog in this flat, and i said in my last vlog i promise i won't keep going on about matilda. But your comments, oh boy, you know most of you um who left a comment said. Please just keep talking about matilda because we miss her as well. You miss her not being on the sofa beside me and not padding around, and so thank you because i will keep talking about her and um. You know it really does help and, as i say, having friends with dogs and them bringing them here is just i just love it, and the other thing i wanted to say before anna arrives, is i'm not going to do vlogmas this year for no other reason Than my whole work schedule has changed so last year i was obviously doing the afternoon show on the radio and um. It was a different timetable. Now i'm doing late nights. I don't get back here until like quarter to two in the morning, so i lie in when actually now i don't have matilda, i do one, and the only benefit is that i do get to lie in, but i prefer to have her here, but anyway yeah. She would wake up a lot as she was getting older because she needed to go out. So i do have a lion, but i then have lots of other stuff that i have to do so i don't really have time to go to vlog every single day. Um, i might try and put a midweek vlog up whether that's going to happen or not. I don't know so, i'm not going to be doing vlogmas, but i will try and do longer vlogs so that you will get to see bits of london around christmas. So many of you watch me from all over the world and you say in fact one of the callers to my show last night said i just follow you joe, because i'm a londoner living abroad - and i love watching you film in london. So i will continue to do that and london does christmas very, very well. It is it's stunning, it's stunning, this! This city is stunning, and oh, my god, if you think this time last year, we'll now look. Everything is springing back to life anyway, i'm going to press on because i am making brunch for anna and i and um she's as funny about food as i am, but i'm going to make um i'm into omelets now. So i have free-range sussex eggs with free-range smoked salmon. Is there such a thing, well smoked salmon and with spinach and then we're having mince pies? That is our brunch. I know i know i know, and it's so nice to have you here. Oh my gosh. Look. Who'S here, hello, oh my gosh and i've just got a bit emotional, because that's the first time i've got matilda's bowl out and madame this is the wonderful prudence often spoken about seldom see. Actually, that's the reason why this dog is hysterical. Anna'S just brought her here and she is literally life, which is what i've needed in this flat and she's just had a drink from um matilda's bowl. How old is prudence now prudence is six and a half can't you tell and she's just a character. Isn'T she she is she's always been a whirlwind and she always will be really. I mean i'm just thrilled she's here, because a year ago she was really struggling after an emergency surgery, not that you'd notice. No, i know because anna's been really sorry, i'm wiping the teeth. Sorry, i spent most of my time crying as you realize, but i'm just so thrilled that she's here um, because um yeah anna has brought her back to health. She did have emergency um, okay. So now, she's being really good joe with her yak, which we brought you know and you have to go. You have to package a bag when you go anywhere with pru to entertain her. So we've got her indestructible crocodile toy and her himalayan yak mixed. That is that, better than a coffee much better, these are quite a new invention. You know i love him, she wants the other, the other. There isn't anything in there cause. I left it behind by accident, but she will now. I just love this doggy sister. This is typical bull terrier. Do you want to open the bag brew? I forgot the kong yeah, so i put it. Oh, i know what you want. This is bull terrier, isn't it anna? This is bull terrier, yes, you're right! I forgot there are these things, so she knew best very soft treat. She knew better now show her everyone what she does paul. Okay, john two, poor poor. She can do all right, you're excited. Why don't we start with position? Let'S do right roll. Can we do a right roll? Yes, should we go position and then into sit and speak? Please speak because molly used to speak she's very good at speaking out loud. Somehow i try to mouth speak speak because she lives in london. Yes, well done, mouthing's quite good because in london, so um and then go into position again position position there. We are. This is a cro, a craft award-winning dog from crafts. No, but if she has she one coming. Yes, we went down to the southern miniature bull. Terrier show, i don't know only about a month ago and she got a second, so we've qualified again. So i'm in the presence of an award-winning uh craft award-winning dog anna yeah. We are having brunch, so we are having what um so we're having omelette. Oh um. Do you like your intakes? Yes, so these are um free-range sussex eggs with um free-range organic spinach and smoked salmon? Oh and then we have mince pies and i've got milk for you because you like white coffee. Well, thank you. I don't mind if i will drink it. Black, you know me is a well-behaved dog not jumping up. That'S i ruined that by saying she's well behaved, i've cooked an omelette. I can't believe you cooked an omelette joe - and this has totally inspired me because i've got some eggs at home and what a surprise and basically omelets are going to be the way forward. So it's a spinach and smoked salmon, and this is restaurant standard. It is isn't it, it is, so never let it be said. I do not cook we're having omelets and then we're having waitrose all butter mince pies. This is our christmas brunch, and this is prudence's first time into my flat and she's being such a good girl. She is being she's calming down a bit, and this is what everyone wants: savannahs, the orange the orange bag. Every time anna comes, they ask: where did you get the orange bag right? Bon appetit! Thank you joe. So i'm just waiting for george and we're in the wine bar um in maryland called uh the italians, and this is like one of the best places it's opened. Just let me show you the lights. The lights are amazing and the ceiling you know there should be more wine bars in london. This is your traditional italian wine bar, it's fantastic. So whilst i'm waiting, george is coming and then another friend of ours from the bbc, who will not want to be on tape, but anyway i am going to have um a glass or something i think. Whilst i wait for them, you have a little taste cheers delicious. Well, i don't know what time georgie's getting here, but i'm loving it. We need to tell everyone it's your birthday very soon. It is my birthday. This is my. Would you call it my eve of my birth? What your skin looks? No, i haven't, but it's really it's actually. My skin is doing right at the minute. So i agree it looks amazing. I'Ve stopped adding any lotions just using a moisturizer, so you're not using serums. No - and i think that was i think that was maybe overkill yeah, maybe i know no. I can only talk like this with george, i don't know if our next guest, who will not be on camera, will you drink them? This is between um, and you know. I never drink, but i love this because you're like me, because if i have one it goes straight to my head totally we're both working tonight, um. No i'm gon na have one because i love champagne. I know it's potentially, this is um italian champagne. So it's not no! No! Well, it's not a prosecco and it's not champagne. It is fran. It'S organic, yep how's! It tasting give us a taste test. Absolutely well. I love champagne because it's dry second's a bit sweet for me. This is organic and it's dry and it's absolutely delicious. Oh there you go, this is the bottle and tell everybody where they can find it. So yeah we're here at the italians in devonship street, and it is never like this. It'S because it's pouring the train and we can only have one glass because we have to work all right, yeah of course. Well, i'm i'm i'm um joe's the bad influence. That'S the problem! You know look, this could be the thumbnail exactly right, cheers upside cheers. So baby light of fire apple toast the night away because christmas is coming christmas - is coming hello. Everyone i'm only filming this, i'm literally about to go to work, but i just love this outfit. Somehow i've just got it right, i'm wearing my samantha sung, dress, i'm wearing my donda beautiful. I love this cardigan. It'S just such a soft cardigan, i'm wearing my stella mccartney uh shoes and my ankle socks, and i just feel so cozy and i love my new hair. I know you know this seems a little bit of an arrogant insert, but i'm just off to work and i feel perfect for this wintry weather i'll. Show you a long shot. Yes, it's that time of year again it is the panto and i'm coming to the press night of panto land at the palladium donnie osmond's birthday is today. So i guess a lot of these are fans of donnie osland um. I think uh they're probably going to do something quite special on stage, because it's his birthday anyway, um, sadly she'll - be back here and it's lovely to be invited to the press night. I will have to run in the interval because i have to do my show. My radio show so i'm gon na have to run in my stella mccartneys, i'm dying for you to see what i'm wearing you'll be sick to death. With this coat, that's the trouble with social media. Isn'T it you see something i wear it again and again, but i just love it it's this year's coat but i'll show you what i'm wearing underneath it um. When george gets here, but this is tradition i always arrive, then i go shopping in liberty. Then i come back and watch the show, so i'm going to go into liberty and i'm going to show you some of the things that i'm looking at have a look at the crowd. Already i mean this is an hour and a half before it starts. Christmas. Is coming, the snowflakes will be falling, it's the most wonderful time of year. So hang up your stockings put the tinsel on the tree, because christmas is coming. My dear it's the only time of year. The rain differs. I love liberty and you know i know it shouldn't matter, but one of the lovely male shop assistants has just said to me as i came in madam, i love your style. I mean i'm 66 and that makes me feel fantastic. So sorry, just talking to myself on the stairs um, but no it just cheers you up. He was a lovely young man, so yeah very well brought up gather all your family round or go out and paint the town it's the only time of year. The whole wide world turns upside down, so baby fly the fire and we'll toast the night away. Because christmas is coming, so these are desmond and dempsey pajamas, which you see me wearing a lot and they've got a whole range here at liberty, but you can buy them online i'll leave the link to them below these are the ones i wear that you'll probably Recognize but i absolutely love these look at those i mustn't buy anything. I really must not we're going to see julian at the panel yeah we're going, i'm going with george, and i said i wonder where you're going tonight. Yes, that's nice! Definitely! Oh! I'M going with my producer, george, who is this? Oh merry, christmas, hello. I know everyone is sorry about matilda and i've read every message. I know i know i listen. I don't my dog was ill and i i only have a dog a month i haven't had a dog for 30 years. I tell you, we were so upset, so i know - and i don't know have you seen the big green coat. I wear. I wear a big green coat, lovely one. Yes fluffy one, that's one of these yeah yeah. I had it on at mourinho yeah. So it's fish brown um. Yes, they are they're a london brand and this is really lovely. Isn'T it so she's truly sustainable? She sells out, and then, oh my god, i can't believe i've seen you because i have been talking about you all day today. I'Ve just said how wonderful your sugar, these must sorry. This is be no. You need to get louder because we couldn't hear you these. Ladies are looking for you, george they're hunting everywhere. That'S why they're so lovely they saw the matinee. They said it's absolutely brilliant and they're screaming for donny osmond, because he's 64.. What are you going to be doing? I don't know, but i'm going to have to leave at the interval all lit by a pink. It'S always good to be lit with a red head. Always the goes fellaini, oh my gosh, so it is the interval. The show is amazing, but it's nine o'clock and i am on air at ten, so i'm in a race back, unfortunately, i'm going to leave george there. Yes, thanks and um he's going to see the second half and i'm going to have to come back another time to see the second half of the weekend. Maybe if i get a ticket amazing, hey amazing, highly recommend it. Oh, i do you know, i'm wearing these, because my eyes are so sore from um just a very very late night. In an early morning, uh the pantomime was fantastic and the show my last night show was fantastic and now it's very early in the morning, because i'm in brixton well, actually i'm in vauxhall, i'm in vauxhall grove and i'm about to go into the most wonderful local. Cafe uh: this is bonnington square. If you are familiar with south london and um, it's my friend, christina's birthday and she's invited a group of us to have brunch in a lovely local cafe on bonington square and then i'm going to drive down to mutti's and it will be the weekend. So yeah gosh um, my eyes, really are quite sore. I am going to finish the vlog here um. I think you've had enough of this coat, so i won't be wearing it for a few months. I think um. What else have i got to tell you um? This is probably a little bit longer this vlog i'm trying to make them longer because it's christmas and i'm not doing vlogmas um, i'm trying to show you as much of london as i as i can, with the christmas lights and um all the rest, and i It is lovely living in a city like london at christmas, it's fantastic, although obviously um i won't be in london at the actual christmas holiday um, i'm going to be down in sussex with my mother, but anyway, that's a couple of weeks away, so lots happening next Week that i will take you to loads actually happening next week, so i'm looking forward to next week at all. I don't know about you, but everything sort of gallops away as it heads towards christmas day and i'm not actually working on christmas day. For the first time in years, i will not be doing a radio show on christmas day, so that's it! Oh and we've got walking women. If you don't know what i'm on about, if you're new to this vlog - and we have quite a few new people that have come because, thank heavens, youtube is beginning to recommend me, which so i'm doing something right at long last um.
