Merry Christmas! Grwm/Hotd & Fotd

Hey y'all happy christmas eve. It is christmas, eve yeah i'm about to de-roll, and i was like oh for christmas. I want my hair. I have not worn my hair out in a long time. I know a lot of you came to my channel because i started off this channel as a natural hair channel, and then i just turned it into a free-for-all and i've lost subscribers because they, like my, only came for the natural hair and the makeup, and she Doing all this other stuff, but i hope you guys are having an amazing holiday season. I am not doing nothing this evening. I know a lot of you are getting together with the crab boils and all that i went to my mom's house this evening and now i'm home okay. This is gon na be scary. This is gon na, be scary y'all. This is gon na be scary. This is how my hair's been looking underneath the scarf, but we're gon na. Do my hair we're gon na? Do the hair do a twist out for for christmas day? Let'S get into it, i need to change my shirt. I went straight from work that i had to work a half a day today and then i went to my mom she's working on getting her kitchen decluttered and all of that old stuff. So i've been working with her on that and i am tired, but i want to do my hair yeah, this area. Y'All know this is one thing about me. I did my channel is my channel. I show y'all the good, the bad and the ugly, and this is gon na - be an ugly moment, not so cute moment, okay, but i transformed kind of nicely so i'm going to take out these braids. These braids have been in probably for two weeks. Oh, it's dry, my grays yeah. No, i haven't dyed my hair in months since the pandemic. I haven't dyed my hair since the pandemic. It got thicker, but i think my edges are thinning out. I think that part is age but because i lay my edges down. Every day and put the scarves on that could be putting tension on my edges. I'M not sure i'm gon na have to assess and see what's going on tomorrow. You guys mom's cooking, an amazing christmas dinner traditional, but we're we're not she's, not the extended family's, not invited it's not like they're, not invited, but everybody's kind of doing their own thing. So let me just be me, my mom, my brother, my two nieces and their children. When i was at my mom's house today, i did wear my mask. I wear my mask at her house. Oh y'all, okay, let me take this down and i'll be back. Do y'all say this sugar bush? This is a sugar bush. Look at that gray y'all! Oh, my gosh, okay ooh, my hair has grown so much. Oh, my goodness, i'm gon na wash it deep conditioning. Let me see what deep conditioner we use. I'M going to use this uh manuka honey and my fur or intensive hydration conditioner by shea moisture. That is what i'm going to use. Let me just use my shampoo. I think, from that same line. Oh, do y'all see how big my hair is. Do y'all see the back? Do i remember before the pandemic my hair was shaved in the back. It'S completely grown out of the style and the shade it's kind of sore. You know like when my hair is in a growth spurt. My scalp is sore. My hair is growing so much and i like it short because it's easier to maintain, but i think i'm gon na just keep letting it grow. I just want a big old, big old, big old, big old sugar bush for this summer, but y'all know when i wet it. It'S gon na curl down and retract. I'M just really tripping off that gray spot right there in the front like a skunk, i kind of like it y'all might not buy it. I don't know anyway, i'm gon na go put it under some water. I will be back all right, freshly washed. My hair feels so good. My scalp feels really good. I got the deep conditioner on there. Let this sit on here for a few minutes, 10 minutes or so i could get up under my hairdryer heat it under the heated dryer. So it can penetrate more, but it's late and i just want to get done. I'M gon na style it with the eco styler gel and some grease. Let me use the little magic uh olive oil formula grease. That'S my combo, i'm gon na twist this up. Oh, it feels good and i will be back y'all. Don'T need to see that process that process is the same. I have lots of videos on my channel. I'Ve been using the same process and the same products for several years, so so my hair is still in the shape. It'S just gotten bigger. I'M pretty sure. I need a good trim which i may go and get one, but i could just kind of do it myself. Just trim my ends up a little bit but i'll be back. I might be back in the morning all right. Merry christmas yeah. I already started doing my brows, so my brows, i cut them too thin. I overcrowded i made a nick and i over correct it, so they're really thin. So now all these. I have a lot of stubbles right here because i have got to let them grow back in, so i'm just concealing those little stubbles. It'S going to take us several months from the grow bag, but in the meantime i can conceal i'm at the same color concealer that i'm about out of my hair is partially taken down, we're going to go in the other room and i'm going to style it Out, i hope you can hear me: okay, i'm using my phone, which the speaker isn't very good, but i'm about to go eat and then i'm gon na come home. I'M gon na come! I just want to chill today. I just wanted to chill today come home and watch the movie on netflix. I started watching the christmas story. Is that what it's called? No? This christmas? I think it's with regina king yeah, regina king. I can't think of the other people right now, but yeah. I started watching that earlier this week and i fell asleep on it. What are you guys's, favorite christmas movies? My all-time favorite is the charlie brown christmas for real for real, even steel. My arm might be ash. Just gon na do a quick faith, so we can take pictures with the fam. It'S gon na, be just me, my mom and my brother, my two nieces and their children, and that's it. I hope somebody's shoving, my my driveway, sometimes one of my neighbors will do it, but as of yesterday, nobody did, but i hear somebody out there. I hope somebody's doing that. For me, that would be nice, otherwise i might get back home, they seem. I am going to have to shovel because we got some snow. We got a significant amount of snow a couple days ago, so i'm just using that burgundy color out of the reveal 2 palette that burgundy color right there all-time favorite color to put in that crease to blend that out. I'M using um i'll show y'all i'm using it. I'M gon na continue using the uh juvia's place palette that i just was gifted. Let me talk about my edges. My outer v's just a little bit. Okay, let's get into the julius place coral palette. I featured this last week was gifted to me. This is one of my favorite colors and you can tell i've been in that color right there, but today i wanted to use this silver color. It'S kind of silvery sparkly, i'm gon na wet my brush, i'm gon na use this max mix and medium and that'll that'll um. I didn't need to spray that brush if i was gon na use since i'm using this because that'll just set the shadow in place. So it doesn't move around and gets some of these sparkles. These sparkles won't fall. Oh, i hope that's my neighbor out there shoveling my wall, my um driveway. That'S exactly what it sounds like that's bright and pretty when i use a color like that, i'm not ready to wash my brushes. I just wash that color off or any color not just like that, but i definitely couldn't go back and dip into another color with that color wipe it off and now i can use it again before i officially wash my brushes. Not much blending needs to be done there. I did pick up a new mascara same kind. I'Ve been using for years the l'oreal voluminous my fave y'all, see the difference. Can you maybe not? I can it looks good good enough. Let me find my eyeliner and the eyeliner i use is the same. In my it's the same l'oreal voluminous, it's the same as the um mascara. I have yet to find one better for what i like eyeliner. I just like it to stay. Put, don't crease! You know easy to get off when it's time to take it off. I should put a color underneath my underneath my eye, maybe that burgundy just smudge a little underneath yeah, i'm so hungry, and you know what i'm gon na do, because dinner's not gon na be ready. I'M gon na have a piece of sweet potato pie right your way, that's what i got ta taste for um. That is what i got a taste for, and i like to warm mine up. I have it with a cup of coffee, yum primer. I think that was primer. I'M gon na wear um one of my ugly christmas sweaters on top of this. So then that was my contour, but i'ma put a blush on top of that this this palette. I use this palette a lot for the contour, but i've never used this color or this color, but i saw so naturally using this color the highlight i never use that highlight color, let's try it today. It'S a light highlight and then i'm gon na try that middle color, just as a bravo color. Actually i'm gon na dip into that highlight just a little something i never put a color in my crease right there, but anyway i think. That'S it spray it. Let it set, i think, i'm gon na wear red lipstick today doesn't matter. Well, maybe i won't. I don't know we got ta wear a mask anyway. So let's go into the bathroom. It'S really sunny outside, so excuse the lighting. If it's not good, hair feels really good, really really really moisturized. I think i got them all down. I think i got them all down put on my earrings, while i'm thinking about it, my mom is making a traditional christmas dinner, which is fine. I think turkey dressing. You know, i got a taste for some seafood. I want some fish and some potatoes and onions, maybe some crab some lobster. I don't know how to taste, for i might have that tomorrow. I might make that for that for myself tomorrow. So yeah i haven't seen my hair in a while. So let's see what we're working with - let's see, let's see this just helps me get the parts closed up, get in there and get the cards closed up. My hair feels so good. I just love how it feels like the deep conditioner that i used is nice. I just put my little clips in, but i just want my my little curly fro to be loose shape it up a little bit that curl right there just want to hang right there. That'S what you want to do see if we can get you in there. So if you're new to my channel you're, not sure not familiar with my hair journey, this was shaved before the pandemic. It was real real low. I have started growing back, i'm not really sure, but i i kept my sides and my back tapered in that's the style i've been wearing as of late. I'Ve been natural for so long. I'Ve gone through so many different styles throughout the many many many years, letting it grow not wanting to grow cutting it back. I think i wanted to grow. I want my afro to be real big this summer, just real ba just real real big yep. That'S good enough, i think that's that'll work right, pull that forward, i'm not getting a haircut no time soon. I was going to trim my ends, which i think i will, but i won't go, get it trimmed i'll. Do it myself? I can do my own trim. I'M okay with that, it's always better. The second day, let me see i'm okay with that y'all. Let me show you my shirt, i'm in my jacket, my ugly christmas sweater. I wore this one here and i had some pants to go with it. Super cute. That is what i'm wearing today. I said. That'S the finished. Look. Oh. I got to put some on my lips. I got some gloss on, but let me put this on even though, like i said once i get to mom's, i don't put my mask on. You. Got to wear red lips for christmas. I didn't take the time to line that or not it's not so cute. Oh, i love my hair. I love the way it feels so much once it gets real real big. I think then, i'm a tape. You know i got ta shape it up once it gets starts, getting really big, i'm gon na. Let it get big. I just wanted to be big and indignant this summer, just a big old curly fro, that's what i'm gon na move for and then of course i'll change my mind and cut it. I don't know what that's doing see my hair is used to being standing up. I don't know there we go. Let me leave it alone. All right! You guys merry christmas. Merry christmas, i might vlog at mom's.
