Hi everyone - I am so excited about the Christmas time coming up and I could believe Christmas is in just a few days. So I wanted to show you guys a tutorial on how you can use simple, bobby pins to wake up and have all of this curl, and it's really easy. It should only take you about 10 to 15 minutes at the most and any one from about shoulder length to longer. Hair can do this and, yes, I put all of my hairpin bobby pins. So you know that with me with my long super thick hair you're going to be able to do it because I probably have the most challenging here because I have so much of it. So I'm really excited to show you guys how to do this. All you're going to need is bobby pins and a few other things that I'll show you in the tutorial. So I hope you guys really enjoy this and have a wonderful Christmas to start this hairstyle you're going to need straight here. So if you need to, you can use a blow dryer to do your hair, if not just let it dry. Naturally, then, what I'm going to do is part my hair in half in the back and pull both sides to the front and then I'm going to use a clip to clip up one side. So it keeps all of our hair out of our way and then on the other side, I'm going to take a section about this baked down and then using another clip, I'm going to clip up the rest of my hair on top of my head. That way, we can work one section at a time and from this section I'm going to pull out a strand and brush through it. So the strand is going to be about this big and I'm going to use my two fingers and wrap my hair away from my face around my fingers and then I'm going to hold that little curl and follow it up to my head. And I'm going to be actually using bobby pins to pin this to my head on to my scalp. So I'm going to take my bobby, pin and place it from the inside of my curl out and make sure that it's nice and secure you can use two or three bobby pins if you need to so I'm just going to continue by rolling this up on My fingers and rolling it up to my scalp, placing it on my head and Bobby pinning from the inside out and we're just going to finish this by going row by row following it up your head. So taking out sections that's going to be accurate, you're here. So if you have more hair, take smaller sections, if you have a finer texture or less hair, take bigger sections and when you're all finished, it should look something just like this, with it being pinned up all over leaving out your fringe. If you have a fringe and then what we're going to do is get a water bottle and I'm just reused, mine and then also a cap, that you can get at any beauty, supply store for about a dollar or so. And I'm going to use my water and just spray it all over my hair, getting it kind of a damp texture, and then I'm going to take my hairnet and place that over my hair, this is going to protect your curls from falling out. While you sleep, making sure that you get any ends and hair all tucked in and then it's going to end up looking just like this and all of your curls are protected so that when you sleep, everything will stay looking beautiful time to sleep and then, when You sleep, your curls will be nice and dry and ready you wake up. Your hair will be ready for you to take off your net and do this in a kind of a careful manner. That way, you don't pull out any of your bobby pins and then we're going to start by taking our bobby pins down and just take out your entire set of bobby pins from all over your head. If you have friends, you can go ahead and style it. I'M going to take out my bangs and I'm going to use a big round brush and my blow-dryer just to smooth out my bangs and kind of get it give it a swept back. Look then using an anti frizz styling cream, I'm going to put a little bit in my hands and then emulsify it and rub it through my hair. This is going to tame down any frizziness and also soften the hair curls. You might find a few bobby pins. Little strays that are still in your hair, so you can go ahead and remove those as well. This part is optional, but I'm going to use a really pretty bobby, pin with diamonds on it to clip my friend job, to keep it out of my face and I'm just going to place my bobby pin in and kind of have it a little bit twisted Back and we are now finished - I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas morning.

Tuyen: That looks amazing! If I ever decide to curl my hair, I'll use your method.

Willow McDonough: It looks so easy and pretty ❤️

Anna Hershey: Aw this looks so easy and nice! Very helpful tutorial. I'll have to try it when my hair is a little longer. I have to mention how amazing that shade of red lipstick looked on you, though.

Alexsis Mae: That's so awesome! I hope you enjoy watching the tutorials!

figuresk8er94: this is so pretty!! every tutorial I've seen like this have curls but they're kind of weird looking. I'm definitely gonna need to give this a try sometime!!

Conr Ash: Fabulous hair! Good video, well explained & demonstrated. Thank you

sara channel: Simple and beautyfull !

Shelby Kaske: Pin curls.. Beauty school basic! Love it! I am sooo jealous of how long and shiny your hair is!!

M N: Really helpful video, thanks for sharing your technique! Ignore the rude comments, some people have issues that a hair tutorial can't solve. ;)

Jessica Reyes: Wow I love the curls♥ the curls work for me thank you and it was a grate video :)

Cynthia123love: OMG that looks sooo pretty!

Samie Gonzalez: I'm so happy you put this video I'm one of the people who suggested no heat curls!!! Thanks so much it's so helpful and my hair is just like your too !! Merry christmas !!

Candice Bergstrom: Looove this! Just curious, how long did you actually leave the pin curls in before you removed them? those curls = perfection! I watched the video a few times, because I was certain that you had used a curling iron! now that's a complement! so, now that you're rockin' a shorter hair, I can't wait to see what fun styles you come up with! Tfs.I've gone emoticon craaaazay!

marie-eve Lapratte: Hihihi i couldn't wait to see your video , i was waitinig for it for 2 days hihihi! I cant believe how it ended looking this great from starting on dry hair!!! Its amazing!!! I am definatly trying this tomorrow:) this look look so great on you!

A.P. K.G.: If your hair is thick, try doing it with smaller sections instead of 4 do 8 or more.  Experiment with it, everyone's hair is different.  My hair is fine and it does not hold curls well.  Using smaller sections seems to help it hold better.  I also do not like to use too many products in my hair.

Ariana L: ur gorgeous !<3 and tysm for this tutorial, i really need new heatless hairstyles lol :D

allie maria: Loved it thanks!! (:

Denise Salas: This helped a lot thanks! btw youre so pretty!

Shereen: These curls look glamorous and this was uploaded on my birthday!

monkeysarebeastxD: Your hair is perfect!

Melissa Millican: Super cute!! Thank you mis Mae!!

SS123279: I like this idea. With the old way of pinning , your hair can be damp and therefore eliminate the role of the hair dryer. Also you can pin your fringe by rolling it inwards .This is what gave the women of the fifties that lift to their bangs they had.Im going to try this anyhow.

shimmygirl linda: this look is gorgeous and so are you I need to do this. your hair is lovely

Bander Snatch: Thank you so much. I was looking for something like this. : )

aixa perez: iam gonna try this tomight thank you so much so glad you posted this thank you even thow its x-mas anymore i still want curls in my hair with out damaging it or puting heat on it so thank you so much for this tutorial :)(:

Nancy Rodriguez: Love it!!

meaghan mckechnie: OMG! This just made my life AMAZING!

Elizabeth Jayne: Best overnight curls video I've ever seen (:

karen salazar: thank you! this really did work!!! :)))

ruth k: wow! very pretty!

Taylor Gordon: Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! I have really long and think hair, and i dont like using heat tools bc it is frying my hair! I bought that stuff today! lets see how it looks in the morning!!!

Leeanna Mcdonagh: I tried this and it is sooooo good

Emma LeRow: I really want to try this! But last time i tried something like this it really took length away from my hair and made my hair look way to curly!

CandiedCloverFlowers: You, Ma'am, are so amazingly beautiful!!

Alexsis Mae: I have layers as well and it worked fine for me. Dampen it before you roll it into a pin curl, it should work.

Regan Derrick: You have very beautiful healthy looking hair!

Alexsis Mae: Imagine a circle. Pin from the inside of the circle then slide your bobby pin to through the outside of the circle. That way the closed end is inside the circle and the open side is facing out.

m: Thanks so much! now I finally have to not use heat for my hair! thankx a lot

Monica Divino: love this! :))

angelica polana: hii! if i would leave it for maybe 3-4 hours pinned down. would it still work? is there anything you could suggest i can do sor the curls stay for the night? thank you! ☺

Jada Morgan: I'm going to try this thank you very much for this video

Diana Spell: Women have used this method for years. I'm in my 50's and this was the only way my mother and aunts would curl their hair every night for the next day. When they did it wet then sat under their big noisy dryers it was perm city. :)

Ale: i love it i tried it myself

Laine Gerenia: nice! you can also wear it for the day, just like proms or something... your so beautiful!!!!

Alexsis Mae: Crazy how simple it is right?

ErikaandOlaf: I did this and my hair is like so pretty and curly and i also used about 35 bobby pins because i was using smaller layers of hair to hold

Heather Lee Finney: Omg I wish I had hair like you!!!!!:(

Alexsis Mae: I'm so glad you liked it!!!

Jackie Vizcaya: Im definitely trying this!!!

ana pao: Wow your hair is really pretty and you look very good without makup ;)

Alexsis Mae: Let me know what you think! Try it a few times and then you'll know exactly what to do :)

Rocio Gonzalez: love it

Meghan Tran: You are so pretty and this is a great method

selina hudson: I love your hair xx

Alexsis Mae: Thank you for the support! Merry Christmas!

Katlyn Johnson: it looks so easy

Alexsis Mae: Thank you sweet girl! Lol that was just for the video. I didn't really sleep like that, in fact i hadn't even had dinner yet!

Deepthi Jarugula: This was pretty cool!

Nicole Barreca: can you do this with damp naturally curly hair?

Symirra James: Finally ! Omg I love you ! I needed this!!

mrstomlinson16: These are perfect. It never works for me though

Leslie E: Omg I love this tutorial!!! But where can I get the cap?? I've been trying to look for it everywhere :(

Cassandra Z: I am doing this as we speak but doing a bit smaller piece's of hair, Hope it come's out cute in the morning :)

Kathalyna S: Omg I love this

Bubba Bar: I love it

Sandra G. Mendez: Loved the video! I would like to know the name of the product and brand, plz :) Also by any chance, would you know of any product/s(high or low end) that can hold the curls throughout the day?

Mami Yankee: I tried this last nite!! i had the idea to do it, then i searched youtube to c if any1 else has done it & i saw this video. Well. the curls came out amazingggg & cute!! BUT - Many hours later in the day.. thet dropped!! -_- that never happens to my hair unless the curler used was bad , or rhey werent curled properly..... cuz my hair is wavy/curly anyway...

TheAngelflower8: You guys this does work on wavy\cur Y hair just letting you know!

bands ifly: will these curls last for several hours?

Alexsis Mae: I do it before I go to bed, then take it out when I wake up in the morning.

Alexsis Mae: Haha, Hope it worked out for you as well as it did for me!

DemetersFire: I found it a lot easier to work from the top down through the layers, instead of trying to section out hair.

Chelsea Forsyth: Do you do this with Dry or Wet hair?

KaelisKreations: I loved the vid!

LAURA SHAW: I Do This When My Hair Is Dry , You Dont Have To Wet It .

Katlyn Johnson: i think i'm the only one whose hair turns out horrible my hair is so thick and its very hard to work with. my hair was only partly curled and it was a mess xD

Nyah Vang: Will this work for shoulder length hair?

Nia Carrasco: Your hair is beautiful

Alexsis Mae: Let me know how it worked for you! But be careful...small strands mean small curls!

foreverbelieveable: This is basically a pin curl. It lasts a very long time. If u like curls tight then don't brush it out, also damp to very wet hair works best with pin curls and is good with almost if not all hair types.

Madison Worley: I love this

Cora Boyd: You are so pretty! xx

Maggie Sun: Totally works

nidhi naik: can i use a shower cap instead?

Kristen Weaver: *(No heat)* "Start off by blow drying your hair"

Jennifer Cruz: They look cute :)

Alexsis Mae: Try my Natural Beach waves tutorial! Its an oldie but its awesome! I'm revamping it and will be uploading an updated version soon!

E M: very nice  i want to try it toady thanks i love you so much xoxo <3

BELLE LR: What do you mean pin it inside out ? I can't get my curl to stay down when pinned

izzy baldwin: @isabellahenry you can do like'3-4 pin curls or brush it out in the morning

Brianna Bombshell: Pretty !!

JeanniMarie1015: Best pin curl tutorial

Samantha Burg: Will it work with your hair wet??

becky cox: How Long did you keep it in , might try this for a wedding I've got to go to
