Hi, everyone welcome to becky's crafts and goodies. Now, today, we're going to do another video here for our christmas series for you, and i hope you enjoy it now. These are christmas hair clips. Now you can make these for things like craft fairs. You can make them for stocking fillers christmas eve boxes presents for your nieces. Anything like that they're fantastic. Now i bought these little clips on the internet. You can buy them really easily. You can also buy them in lots of different shops. So if you go into a shop - and you see these in packs, you can buy them, so you don't have to buy millions of them. You could buy just six if you wanted to and just make a few, so i've got those to start with and also i'm going to use some of these embellishments. Now these came from the works, so if you're in the uk you'll be able to get these, if you're not, then just look around dollar tree places like that. Just to see, if you can get anything that you think would work just as well. Now i really like these ones. These are reindeers and sometimes christmasy, hair clips and things can be quite expensive. So if we can make our own, especially if we can uh, you know, give them away too or even sell them from a profit. That would be fantastic. So we've got some reindeer ones. There. We'Ve also got some stars. You get 12 wooden embellishments in this pack, and these are the glittery ones on one side, they're like a gold glitter on one side, but they would be quite sweet now. These are wooden, so obviously bear that in mind with this. I don't know how long the antler is going to last, so they will have to be careful with them, but you can also get felt shapes as well, which would also possibly work well. It would work so lots of hair clips that phoebe's had in the past are made from felt. So you can do that and i've bought some ready-made felt sort of holly sprigs there, and you could again make these yourself if you wanted to but they're nice and soft. But you can cut bits out of felt and you can do exactly the same thing that we're doing here. So what i'm going to use is some of the e6000 i'm using the jewelry and bead. It tends to stick quite well, give it 24 hours before you start and sell them or give them away just to make sure. So when you're doing hair clips, it sounds really silly, but there is a particular way sometimes to stick them on all right. So you have to you have to bear this in mind when you put a clip in one side of the hair, you generally have one the other side. So what you have to do when you work the clips out, is to make sure you put them the right way up. So if you've got like a pattern or a saying on them that need to go the right way make sure that they fit as a pair or a set. You see what i mean stars won't matter. This really won't matter, but if you've got words on something make sure that when they go in they're not going to be upside down, if you see what i mean, because the way they go in the hair they'll have to go sort of the right way. The stars won't matter, so all you've got to do. We'Ve done this in a previous video, it's so so easy and you just splodge a bit of glue on, and i found this. This glue works quite well. You can use. I do get asked questions a lot about. You know what type of glue you could use hot glue, but, to be honest, i don't think it's going to stick very well. So i'm just going to start that bit again because it's the first bit of glue out there at the packet and sometimes when you use hot glue, i've made them in the past and they do come off. So don't probably fall for the the same thing that i did so we're just going to go again and pop it on there. So just be careful how much you put on put a splodge and you can if it goes everywhere, just wipe a bit off. But this is going to make it so much cheaper to make hair clips and you can make these for the kids. Even if you don't want to sell them, you can make them for kids grandkids nieces. Anything like that and i say that's dead, easy. Isn'T it? How easy is that, and we like to do a packaging here on becca's cross and goodies? Don'T we so? I would suggest if you are even just giving them as a gift package them up on a nice piece of card, because it makes it so much more. Special makes them easier to sell if they're on a nice bit of card and just all looks all round looks a lot better really, i think so, i'm not going to show you making all these because you know how to do it. I'Ve just shown you once you only need to show them once, don't you so i'm going to do the others. Stick these on exactly the same way, and then i will be back with you here we go so i've made these in no time at all. So with the reindeer ones, you get five wooden toppers in a pack. So if you want to make sets complete sets of five complete sets, then you need to buy two packets of those, because i've just got a little spare. Little reindeer also forgot to say: take off these sticky things on the back, because they're no good to man, the beast so get rid of them and um just stick. Stick on. You know straight with that and that's it. So i'm going to package these up now and then that's them all done, okay, so to package them up. All i'm going to do is i've cut out? Some of these just did this on word basic basic as it can be, and all you need to do is to put a couple of lines so cut a couple of lines in a piece of card like that. I don't know if you can see and all i used for that was. I got one of these. Just an old little bit of cardboard, just use a knife and cut all the way down. Another way you can do, it is actually very, very lightly just fold. It over and then snip and if you sort of bend quite lightly, you don't get a crease um, but that's kind of a bit of a neater way to do it. And then you just pop your hair clips on like that, and you can leave them like that. If you want to you, don't have to put anything else on or you can put them in a little kind of bag a little what's it bag sell cello bag. These are a bit long knees, but i just want to show you and then all you do. Is you just fold they need to be about there really and then you just fold that over and then they're all ready, but don't they look so much better. All packaged up than just single i'll pull these in to show you um, but they really look like either great presents. If you wanted to give them as a present or they look really great for a craft fair and you could sell these so uh, that's it! So i hope you've enjoyed this video dead, easy to do. Isn'T it just shows that with a bit of packaging, making them look, nice makes them all the more better. So i hope you're all okay and, as i always say, you take care of yourself and i will see you again soon take care bye. For now you
