Christmas Hair Clip Tutorial, Bow Tutorial, Ribbons -The290Ss

Hello guys welcome to my channel today, I'm going to show you how I made these holiday clips for your kids in their prison for mr. with the tree, and this is what it looks like on the hair. It is kind of big, but it's really pretty and you can use it on also in a bow. So I'm going to use this kind of ribbon. I'M gon na put all the measurements here and also on my blog, so you can check them out, and these are the materials I'm going to be using. I did, I will add, all the information below just in case. I missed something, and this is the measurements for them, and also I'm going to start by grabbing the green and red ribbon and I'm just gon na hit till the ends on all of them, because I don't want them to fray. Then I'm gon na fold them like this and I'm going to add a little dab of glue in each layer. So they will not come off when what your daughter is using them. So I'm gon na finish all of them and I will be using a piece of green felt, I'm going to add glue and I'm gon na start, adding all the ribbon like that, I'm going to start in layers and 5 ribbon layers and I'm gon na work. My way up with five four three two and one the way I can have the whole tree form. So I'm going to start. I'M gon na keep doing this. I'M just gon na add layers and you can place them close or you can spray them apart. A little is just going to make your tree a little bit longer, but if, if you like it, that way, I mean you can play around to see which one you like. So I'm gon na go ahead and finish this up and just add as many layers as you can. You can make it bigger if you want to add more ribbon if you're gon na make it like a corsage or you know if you really are into big Clips or big bows, and I added this also to a stock hair bow and they look really cute. You can check it out on my blog if you want, if you want to have another idea, how to use this. So now that I have it all, the tree form I'm gon na start cutting the felt this is. This was used just as stability for the bows, so they will stay together and not be kind of wobbly, and I'm gon na make a simple bow and it is pretty simple, as you can tell, you, can have more detailed instructions. I'M gon na leave you the link for my simple bow video and I'm also going to leave it at the end of this video. If you would like to check it out, but is pretty simple to make and you can make it in different sizes. Tiny like this one or huge, it's really up to you, so I'm gon na hit till the ends. I decided for a V, a vignette ending on them. So that's what it looks like. I'M also going to add a crystal gem right here and it's gon na make it just. You know pop out a little bit more now it's time for a clip. I already decided to use an alligator clip and I'm just going to hug the alligator clip with the ribbon. I'M just gon na cover it up and I was gon na make it look like the stem for the tree, which is going to look pretty cute. So just add glue and before you close it add the other one just fold the ribbon. That way, it won't stick the other part of the alligator clip when you're done with this, what you can do so, if your daughter has like super thin or you know straight hair, you can add a dab of glue and on top of the ribbon - and I Mean I'm in between the ribbon and the clip, and that will help you not slip. Now, I'm gon na show you how I made this snowman. You can also use it as a crocheted, it's pretty cute and it is super simple manner. I'M gon na put all the measurements on my blog as well, and this is what I'm using. I used the eyes like Wiggly eyes, to use for the mouth and that's how I got those little dots, so I'm gon na hit the older women. I didn't the whole thing because it's gon na make this video longer than it is, and I'm gon na go in a piece of cells. You can use white felt if you want. I had this thing and it's still I mean it worked. So I'm gon na clue what it can be the head here. You can use the thick ribbon as well and I'm gon na start adding. You know the rest of the part, so maybe they had to decorate they had and I'm so gon na glue the eyes. I'M gon na add the nose, which is just a piece of foamy that I could up and it's blurry, that's what it looks like. I just get out like a cheap carrot kind of thing, so I'm gon na glue this as well, and the dots I'm gon na I'm gon na place them below the nose and that's gon na aim to be the mouth. I decided to just decorate it with a crystal right there, so I'm gon na just form a little smile for my snowman to make it happy, and this is pretty much how you do it. You can make different color combinations and you know just play with it and or make different different ones for the week and you don't use a lot of ribbon. So I'm gon na add this carp and now I'm gon na cut all the felt around just try to not get the ribbon because it will fray just be really careful here. I'M gon na cut it and now it's time for the clip so for the clip. I'M gon na use the same method I used before, because I'm using also an alligator clip, I'm just gon na I'm just going to cover it with the ribbon, and this time I picked up a pink ribbon, so I'm gon na go all around and I'm not Cover up like that, that way, I can just have it already ready for my bow for my Clippy and I will also add a little piece of felt to hold it together. A little more you don't have to good. I mean you can do it that way too, as you can tell I already did here and since I have it like that, it's pretty much done. I'M gon na show you how to make now the gingerbread men and women and they're really cute. I, like those my son, liked them too I'm going to. We need all these bows, all those ribbons that you see here and I'm gon na use a French bread now, so I already had them cut out in place in little pin, so I'm gon na heat seal the ends that way they won't fray and I will Place a little bit of glue in between the layers of the ribbon. That way, I can start folding or forming the legs. I already did it with all the limbs, but with the head, I'm just gon na place it on the bottom, the dab of glue and I'm gon na place it on the back of the ribbon, and this will help me form the head for the gingerbread men And women, and now I'm gon na, take the legs, which is the longest, the longest ribbon and I'm going to place a dab of glue. And then I'm and I take another glue in a minute at the head and the arms that way. It will start shaping up and you know, taking a humanoid form, so I'm just gon na glue everything right here and now, I'm gon na add the buttons I made the buttons out of foamy. You can use little tiny buttons if you can find some or beads. It'S up to you. What do you want to use and for this one I'm going to use again and simple bow for the hair bow of the girl and the bow tie of the of the gingerbread man? So I'm going to make a simple bow, as I mentioned before, it will be in the description box or at the end of the video. If you want to check it out and I'm just gon na cut the ribbon and heat seal the ends, because I don't want them to fray, so I'm just gon na glue it on top of the head of the ginger woman and it she is pretty much Ready so I'm gon na add a dab of glue and I'm gon na the crystal gem and now for this stripe. So I'm going to grab some of that white ribbon. I'M just gon na glue it at the end of the limbs, the legs, the arms and I'm going to cut the remainings of whatever is left because I'm not really cutting it at the at the edge. So I'm just gon na cut whatever is left. I'M gon na hit seal them and I'm going to do the same thing with the gingerbread man, so they're going to be pretty much ready and I'm going to also add the bread. So I just have to go with a bread because I want them to hold. You know better and just join your different ways. You can do it, so let me heat seal this and as well. I'M just gon na wrap the bread with the ribbon and I'm going to make sure it's just firmly glued. That is not gon na come a far. So let me just finish this up, and this is what they look like they're pretty cute now, the last one. It is a Christmas wreath and I'm just gon na use pipe cleaners in some ribbon and also the friendship arete. This is just something that you can use as a corsage or you can just use it as your clip and I'm gon na use crystal gems as well. So I'm gon na start twisting the pipe cleaners this way and I'm gon na leave a little gap in between the the twisting, because that's gon na give it a like the look of a wreath. I'M gon na close it up and cut the remainings and I'm gon na add a dab of glue. I'M gon na glue a little piece of ribbon and I'm gon na pass that ribbon through the holes that we just left on the pipe cleaners. So I'm gon na go all around, and now I'm going also to use some of the thread that I have and I'm going to just hold those at those middle parts together. So it doesn't look weird there and we're gon na cover them up later with crystal gems, and for this one I'm going to use two simple goals. You know I to toriel is at the end or below I'm just going to do two, and one is the hello ribbon and the other one is just a red, simple ribbon. You know how the reeds always have a big bow on top. So that's why I did it like that and I'm just gon na cover this Center with some red ribbon. So it doesn't so you cannot tell that there is some thread in there like. So it looks like this, so I'm just gon na finish it up. I'M gon na add the crystals we're just gon na act also as ornaments and we're pretty much ready. Now we need to add our French bread and the same way I did with the other one. So I'm just gon na hug the bread with the ribbon and make sure that it's not gon na fall apart. So I'm just gon na finish this up and that's pretty much for this tutorial. I hope you find it helpful.
