Hey curlfriends welcome back to my channel it's jazz and i'm back with day four of 12 days of christmas and let's get to yesterday's winner, daddy underscore girl 46.. So if you aren't on instagram, send me a dm with your info so congrats, so i'm going to jump right in, and so this doesn't end up being a very long video. Today we are going to be doing a leave-in conditioner pudding by heritage. This is actually my first time hearing about heritage. I know they've been around for a while. I saw someone using it on their toddler and it really spoke to me because it's paraben free gluten, free mineral oil, free color, safe cruelty, free and vegan, and also by the way the briogeo products are also vegan. I forgot to mention that yesterday, so this is like speaking to me and my child, so i've been using it mainly on jalen, but i've also used it on myself and this pudding is bomb. So one thing i like about a one-stop shop product is that if you can use it alone on like a really quick wash day, i'm gon na have it so um. I like to use it on jaylen, like immediately after i wash her hair. It'S really moisturizing and it allows her hair to stay soft for the upcoming days without having to reapply product, so the ingredients i'm going to be talking about are shea butter. I know i'm butchering this baobab uh metal, foam and safflower oil, so shea butter is going to have vitamins a and e it's going to help with moisture and shine, and it's going to soften dry hair bail. Bob is going to have omega-3s, which is really good for your hair. It'S going to help moisturize and strengthen your hair, which is what i really need, especially being colored. I want anything that speaks about moisture and strength at the same time now metal foam. This is really my first time looking into metal foam oil, it's going to keep your hair hydrated by locking in the moisture. So if you are deep conditioning beforehand, this is going to lock all that in. So all your hard work in the shower when you're shampooing and your deep conditioning your treatment, this is going to lock all that in and it's also going to help with any tangling and it's going to prevent your hair from being brittle. Now we talked about safflower oil, i think on day two i believe, but safflower oil is really good for moisturizing your hair and it's going to stimulate hair growth. So, like i mentioned before, this is just a leave-in. Conditioner pudding mentioning strength, but it's also going to help stimulate hair growth so, like i said before, any products that may not just read like a hair growth product. Just by looking at the ingredients and looking into what the benefits are, you could be like. Well, i'm going to get this because i'm on a hair growth journey, i also want to strengthen my hair. So this is one of your good, well-rounded leave-ins that you can use on a daily basis, so yeah like i had they have a whole lineup of products that i've been using. I really really like using it on jalen's hair and it's really good that it's color safe. So that's good for my hair as well. So the first question is what is the best leave-in, so my best advice is to the way i'm going through these ingredients and these products look for what your hair needs. If you are struggling with shedding or if you're struggling with dry hair, you want to look for something. That'S really preaching about moisture. Also, what you're, using already, if you're, shampooing and deep conditioning with one thing, and you want to start thinking about stylers, look to what they already have because a lot of times those stylers were made to work with your products like. If you look at a lot of the instructions, a lot of the instructions on products are say, follow up with this or after you shampoo use this so they're making this stuff to work together. So i would recommend, if you're looking for a leave-in, to look at. What'S your favorite shampoo and deep conditioner that you're already using and then follow up with something that complements those, so it all works together. So you have a nice well-rounded routine that you'll be locked into, so you don't not always looking for a new product. The second question is: what is the best way to maintain colored hair to stay healthy and prevent breakage? So for me, like immediately after i color my hair, i'm going to start like with treatments protein deep treatments on a weekly basis like i have to deep condition on a weekly basis and for me one thing that i've been able to really benefit from. Not doing is straightening my hair. I made a choice because when i was doing both color and heat on a regular basis, my hair decided to check out on me. So i made a choice. I want color, so i'm not going to use heat. So it's kind of like choose your poison like which, which one would you rather have more of? Do you like to wear your hair straight then color probably isn't something that you're gon na have a really good time, keeping it on a good path. Just because the heat is one thing unless you're doing like once a month, but i was doing it every two weeks and then i was touching it up on my own in between salon visits. So if you're an avid flat ironer, then i would really suggest you cut back on the heat and implement weekly, deep treatments for your hair, and you shouldn't have a problem and also when you, if you're even thinking about color, make sure your hair is at its Healthiest before you color, because if you start off with a great base, then you should not have any trouble with color, especially if you're going to a professional or, if you're, consulting with a professional or you just know what you're doing already a lot of times. If you're already starting with healthy hair, then you shouldn't have a problem, but if you're already starting off with previous color damage heat damage, any chemical treatment that has caused the damage on your hair, multiple dying jobs on top of each other, then you don't want to Continue that damage you want to just start off with a clean slate. So thank you so much for answering those questions. I will be adding. I forgot to add the question thing to my instagram story, but i already had a couple questions from the previous day, so i will be adding that again tonight. Okay, now for the giveaway, so i just want to show you guys that i really be using this stuff, so you see how this is gone. Okay, it's gone! This is the green collection by curl sea kelp, cucumber hair mask so they recently just had a sale. I think they're um doing away with this collection, so i bought two more and um something else that i bought, but i bought two of these, so i am giving this away. So this is a vitamin infused growth enhancing vegan hair mask this stuff is so bomb and you do not have to use a lot like you're gon na. Thank me when you get your hands on this, so the green collection sea, kelp, cucumber, hair mask you have to be following me on instagram, subscribe to my channel and comment on this video. Carmel Fox: Great color tips!! I was curious about the hair mask. I was going to try the mousse because I love a great mousse. I was eyeing the mask too lol. The headband

T Sande: I love your videos! I really appreciate how you provide us with pertinent info in such a short period of time. Also love hearing your happy baby

Deon Gillespie: What sets your videos apart from others is that you have such broad depth of knowledge, you can both answer and anticipate the questions your subscribers might have. Long or short, there's always something new. I ordered cutting shears on Amazon yesterday so I have to circle back to see if you've done a video on trimming your own hair. I don't achieve length and I've never understood why. I would be grateful for any product that enhances growth (fingers crossed). So far...I'm loving Curlsmith, but I ordered so many products I barely know where to begin. Thanks, as always.

Smileyvik23: I’m on a hair growth journey too! I big chopped my mid back length natural hair in June and now I’m growing out my short tapered cut
