Hey curlfriends welcome back to my channel, it's jazz and we are here with day eight of 12 days of christmas. We are knocking these videos out, so i want to say thanks again for everyone who has entered the giveaway in each day and the winner for this video is going to be leslie white. Congratulations so send me your information on instagram via dm and i'll, get that out to you. So as we can see, i brought something back to life here, but what i, what i did was i flipped my side part over and i like to do that. A lot because a lot of times you still have some good definition. In there i mean i got some frizz i embrace frizz when the hair gets old, so i'm loving it now. It kind of really makes me not want to wash my hair for christmas, but i don't know if i can get this to go on for what four more days yeah, i don't know so, we'll see. So today's product is going to be a product. I'Ve been using actually in my last two sets fortified naturals hydrating leave-in conditioner. I love this stuff, like the shine i get when i pair this with the hydrating potion. It'S just ridiculous. So if you haven't checked out that video, i will link it. I have actually i've been linking it at the end of this all of these videos, so the twist and curl and my last perm rod set. I use this leave-in, so if you want to check those out feel free to do so, all right, let's get into some ingredients - and another thing i like about fortified naturals - is that they are a vegan certified and ph optimized. So no parabens, no petroleum, no mineral oil, no sulfates, no formaldehyde and no animal testing. So that's really good to look out for in products like i just love natural ingredients and when you go to the back of this and read the ingredients, you actually know what you're reading it's not like some and like the list is so small. So it's like, if you know what you're, if you can know what you're reading when you're looking on the back of ingredients, that's a really good thing. Tea tree oil is going to improve blood flow to your hair, which is going to allow the nutrients to reach your hair follicles, and it's also going to stimulate hair growth. So this is another product that, if you are on a hair growth journey, this is going to help you out with that aloe vera again, which is, i think i just mentioned this on the last one or the one before that aloe vera is going to be Really good for your hair, it's going to help with itchy scalp, and it's going to strengthen your hair. Avocado is really good for your hair. I know a lot of people use avocado in like diy masks. They do at home. Avocado is very moisturizing and nourishing for your hair. It'S going to have fatty acids in your hair that are really good for dehydrated dry hair. So, if you're suffering, when your hair is always dry, look for avocado in any product and you're really going to get moisture with that, which is probably why this is just one of my favorite leave-ins, because my hair, when i tell you my last, set not one Dry piece of hair in the whole set, so this is one of my favorites. So when you ask me one of my favorites, this is what like, if i'm just want to do a quick set, and i know that fortify naturals is not going to fail me. So i'm always going to reach for for the financials and the style that goes with this, and i know i'm going to have a good hair day, so i don't have to worry about what combo did i use that works. This is a combo that i know is gon na. Do me right so, let's see yesterday, i forgot to ask a question, so i apologize for that. Today'S question is: when you, when you air dry, your sets, how do you prevent frizz one thing about that? I noticed that a lot of people go wrong with especially perm rod sets is how you actually close your perm rod if you have loose roots, you're gon na have frizzy roots when it dries. There'S no like no way around that. If your roots aren't, you know tight you're going to have frizzy roots so a lot of times when people are like, i did everything you said and my roots were so frizzy is because you're not closing the perm rod properly. There are so there are two sides. So a lot of people when they pull it out, they think, okay, i just have to close it. This way that you can pull it the opposite way and close it. So, if pulling it, the opposite way makes it tighter so that you can close your perm rod without having you know, you want to close it across where your roots are. So, if you have, for example, so if you're closed. So if this is where my perm rod is ending, i don't want to close it behind here, because all of this is going to be loose. So you want to close it in front of where, where you are so you close it in front and that's going to keep it tight, because if you go backwards, all this right here is going to be loose and frizzy and that's not what we want and Then another way um, if i'm doing larger sections, which is where sometimes when you can anticipate some frizz when you're doing larger checks when you're doing larger sections. I sit in the dryer for like the first 30 minutes to get that first real set in and then air dry you have, your hair has to be dry or you're. Gon na have some frizz. So i have to make sure my hair is 100 dry and i make sure that i'm closing my roots to be tight and not loose. So i hope that helps so. If you followed me when i used cream of nature's color boost, i used the the other red i didn't use the fire red i used. It was like a more of an auburn color red so and it lasted a long time. So if you have red color - and you want to use this on top of that or if you have color already, this is going to go on top of your color and it's going to be bomb and it's it's without the hassle of do. I want to dye my hair. Do i want to put more color on top of color? This is a temporary color boost that is not going to be damaging to your hair. So, if you're looking for a change, if you're blonde, you want something nice, for you know the upcoming new year or for new year's. This is something that you can do if you want a quick color change without the damage. I did this and it's supposed to only last up to four washes, but for some reason, mine lasted four weeks no longer than that, it was way longer than four weeks check out my videos on my instagram. You follow me on instagram, because i was posting about like i can't get rid of this red color and then, when i finally wanted to get rid of it, it didn't want to leave, not that i hated it or anything it was just like. Okay, can i get my blind bag thanks for checking in with the red, but can i go back to blog? So yes, this is really good um if you wanted to quick change without the damage and they have like eight different colors. If you're not familiar with this, so i am giving this away so yeah um. Follow me on instagram comment on this video. However, you like and subscribe to my channel, those are the three things. So thank you so much for everyone who is participating. We still have one two, three five winners for four more days, so, on the last day, i'm giving away. Oh there's gon na be two winners on the last day, so we have four more days and we're gon na knock this out. So as always, thank you. So much for watching until next time,

T Sande: Love all the perm rod tips. I finally bought some jumbo rods and was amazed at my results!! Still need a tad bit more practice but glad I finally tried it.

Girly H.: I currently have a faded red color and this would actually be perfect to refresh the color. Your hair looks bomb as usual. You always have some of the best rodsets I have seen.

Anointed Stilettos: Merry Christmas . Your hair still looks amazing. Since I started using Fortify'd Naturals, it's been hard for me to use anything else. Nothing else gives me the growth, hydration and shine as good as that line.

Darnia Taylor: I've been try to decide if I want to keep my red or just let it grow out. Maybe I'll give this a try & see if it makes me fall back in love with my color. Tfs!

Paqueshia Baxter: I went from honey blonde/reddish brown undertone to a deep red. But it faded so quickly. Thanks for sharing

LadyBugT Waller: I recently brought Bigen, Semi-Permanent, @ that time of purchase I was wanting some kind of red to mix with this plum color ,but they didn't have any red in the Bigen or in the cream of nature Semi-Permanent. Those are the only 2 brands I use to color my hair.
