Christmas Hairstyles For Short Hair Easy!

Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel, i hope, you're all super well and staying safe and healthy. Oh, that was my ghd straighteners heating up guys today, i'm gon na be showing you four really cute hairstyles that you can wear for christmas day. So i know christmas probably isn't going to be the same for a lot of us, but i still think you know we should get into the christmas spirit and make the most of the time that we have with the loved ones around us. So i want to get you guys into the christmas spirit and you guys need to look cute on christmas day, so i've got four really cute hairstyles and first of all, i'm going to show you how i'm going to prep my hair and i'm going to keep The same kind of style throughout the four hairstyles when i'm showing you guys so yeah. Let'S get going, i'm going to be creating my favorite hairstyle, which is where i flick the ends of my hair out, and it just looks really cute and chic. And it's so easy to do. If you've got some straighteners at home, any brand of straighteners will do, but i've got my ghd platinum, plus straighteners at the ready. So let's get styling my hair before i get into the four hairstyle tutorials, we are going to be using the ghd heat protection spray guys we want to protect our hair, especially if you've got bleached hair like mine, because the heat damages it so we're just going To spritz that all over and then we're just going to grab a brush and just brush that in to make sure all of our hair is coated, then we are going to grab our straighteners. So i'm going to grab my ghd platinum, plus, straighteners, absolutely love these, and then all we're going to do is keeping all my hair down like this. I'M just gon na go towards the end of my hair and curl the ends upwards and it creates this super cute flick. Honestly, i love this hairstyle, it's one of my faves. It just looks so chic and it's so simple to do, especially if you're not very good at like curling, your hair, but yeah. This is what i'm gon na do, and this looks cute on all hair types like if you've got really long hair. You can just curl the very very end of your hair to create that really sleek kind of look with the ends just flicked up. I love it. It'S so trendy right now, but this works on short hair, so we just focus on the ends and flick up. Like so, and we work all the way around our hair, obviously sometimes the underneath doesn't quite get done, so we just lift up that top layer and flick the bottom underneath and it looks so cute, so i'm going to carry on and do that to the rest Of my hair there we have it looking so cute and yeah. Now we can get into the hairstyles. So i really really hope you enjoyed these ideas. I'Ve got lots of really cute accessories, so i will pop a link below for you to shop them. If you fancy it, let's get going so for the first one. We'Ve got this a fabulous tinsel scrunchie. So we're going to be popping that on a half up, half down look, so all you want to do is you've got your base kind of style ready. We are going to get the top section of our hair and, if you've got a fringe like me, we can play around with that fringe afterwards or you can include it in the half up half down pony it's totally up to you, i quite like leaving mine Out so i'm just gon na use my nails to just kind of pull out my front fringe like so then you can grab a comb or a brush just to kind of make that half up pony, really sleek and you can grab some hairspray to lay down Any flyaways, if you want to but to be fair, i washed my hair this morning and it's super soft, so it's actually styling very, very well, but yeah you can spray some hairspray or a product. I absolutely love which i need to tell you guys about. Is the red ken velvet, gelatine, zero? Seven, it's a cushioning, blow-dry gel, but it's great for fly-aways and flattening your hair. But if you want your hair to still look soft rather than like kind of stiff from hairspray i'll show you it in a minute. It'S honestly! So so good, so now, we've got that ponytail in place, we're just going to grab an elastic band. I'Ve got these from amazon actually and they came in a pack of like rainbow ones so cute, but i much prefer them over the elastic bands because they're less damaging to your hair and you can reuse them and you don't have to cut them out. So once you've got that in place, if you're like me, i just need to slide down my chair. If you're like me - and you have these funny little bits up the top grab, those straighteners again put it at the top of your pony and just roll back, and that's just going to flatten those hairs like so good little trick there. If you've got any short bits that poke out at the top, you just need to kind of curl them round and they will poke down. So i'm just going to get that pony in position and if you want, we can redo these little end bits up here, because they're not sticking out as much now, so we can take our straighteners down and create that flick again, which looks really really cute. You can actually grab your whole ponytail if you've got short hair like me and do your whole ponytail in one go like so cute, and then all we're going to do is finish. The look off with this fabulous tinsel scrunchie, which to be fair, might stay in like that, but i'm going to put it around twice now you don't need to spend a fiver on a tinsel scrunchie if you don't want to. Obviously, it's easy to pop in your hair if you've got a tinsel scrunchie, but you could just grab some tinsel off your tree and wrap it round and grip it into place. But i saw this scrunchie and i thought it was super cute. I got it from accessorize this bit of hair. Here is not going right, so i'm just gon na do that. That'S a bit better cute and then for your fringe. If you're leaving your fringe out, we can just curl it, so it flicks sideways. That'S a bit too much a little bit less. I'Ve actually closed. My hair there just color round, that's cute! So yeah you can just curl your fringe, so it kind of blends in with the rest of your hair. This side never ever goes right, and i don't know why it's super annoying. Also, this side of my head is like so much thinner compared to the other side. Does anyone else have that is so frustrating i'm trying to currently grow it out also a little tip as well, which you guys might already know this, but if you've straightened one section of your hair and it's still hot, but it's not quite gone right. Let it cool down and come back to it later, because it just won't recur. If your hair is already hot, you need it to cool down, and then you can re-style it so yeah that guys is look number one. What do we think it's so cute and i absolutely love the tinsel scrunchy super easy and super festive for christmas day. So hairstyle number two, this one is super super simple. You just want to get yourself, some really cute festive hair clips. I got these really cute festive ones from accessorize and i love the fact that they've got little snowflakes on and they're so fab. So i'm going to pop those in my hair, i'm going to take the red ken velvet, gelatine blow dry, gel i'm going to pop a little bit on my fingers. Now don't be scared! It comes out purple, but it actually comes out clear when you rub it in and then we are just gon na pop that on my hair on my middle parting, i'm just gon na lay down any flyaways and make the hair really really smooth. And, as you can see, it kind of adds a little bit of a sheen to the hair, i'm going to tuck my hair behind my like ears, i'm going to grab a little bit more of that product, i'm just going to flatten down the fringe, and we Can use some hairspray as well? If you want, i really like this slick kind of top with the hair tucks behind the ear and then flicking out. I think it looks really really cute so for hairspray, i'm going to grab the red ken 32 triple take extreme high hold hairspray. Now, i'm not going to spray this on my hair, i'm going to spray my fingers and then i'm going to tap it and like stroke, my hair with it to lay it flat and stick it down. I don't really like spraying hairspray on my actual hair, unless i'm like really trying to kind of hold a hairstyle in place, because sometimes i find too much hairspray comes out. This way you can be really precise with where you want to apply it. Sometimes you get it in your eye and your face and if you've not got one of those like face protector, hairspray things, then it's going to go in your eyes. It'S not good right and then, when it gets to the bottom here, i'm just gon na brush the ends out like so now. We can hairspray this because it'll be nice for that little flick to hold and stay in place so cute we'll do the same to the other side, brush the curl and then kind of just pull it out like so, and then you can spray that so that Holds in place that looks really really cute. Okay, now we can go in with the hair clips, so i've got a large and a small one. I got myself two packets and i'm literally just gon na glide them in wherever i fancy really i'm gon na go in with the small clip. First, i'm gon na use my nail to try and hold that clip open whilst i pop it under my hair. So i'm going to press down my hair and slide that in place like so then i'm gon na grab the larger clip i'm gon na pop that just underneath, like so super cute and then we'll do the same to the other side, starting with the small one. Now this is tricky trying to match them up, but i feel, like that, looks quite level and then we'll do the large one again underneath. Oh, my nails are stuck really really cute and that's it guys super simple, but it's slick with the cute flick at the bottom. I think that looks so nice and, as you can see like the top of my hair, doesn't look too like like hair sprayed. It looks really smooth and shiny, so yeah. This is look number two guys so for hairstyle number: three, we are going to be using this fabulous alice band that has been handmade from aurora moon headwear. I absolutely love their headpieces. They honestly stock me up for my festival season, but they've. Kindly gifted me, this beautiful, crystal christmassy crown to share with you guys. So i'm going to be using that for my next look. So using my flicked ends, i'm going to be taking the back section of my hair and i'm going to be grabbing a back combing brush. I'Ve got this amazing one from tangle, teaser, honestly, it's so so good and then all i'm gon na do is pop the teeth in and pull down so much volume already, and i'm going to do that to the next little bit underneath at the back. I just want a bit of volume at the back before i pop on the headpiece, so once you've got your volume, which looks really cool. Look at that already guys. We just want to spritz a little bit of hairspray just hold that in and then we can take the ultimate brush from tangle teezer, just to smooth out very gently the top layer of hair. So you don't see any kind of back combing and you can push that up as much as you like really so. We can use some hairspray to grip that and stick that into place, and that just gives the hair like a little bit of lift at the back. I think it looks really really nice, but obviously, as i said, you can have that lift even more like you could even take some grips and like really push it up at the back. If you wanted to, but i quite like just a gentle little lift and then we can go in with the alice band, but actually i think i'm gon na have my fringe out for this. So i grab a section of fringe and then we can curl that under the straighteners one side and the other side and then we'll just flick that out to the side like so and then we'll grab our alice band and you can tuck your hair behind your Ears, because i think that will look really really nice, i will pop the alice band on we've got the fringe out which looks fab and we've got really nice lift at the back of our hair like so. This is look number three, then, for my final christmas day, hairstyle i'm going to create a little bit of a hair twisty thing at the back, and then i've got this really cute gold star clip that i'm going to pop in now. I cannot remember where i've got this from um, but i will find some similar ones and link them below okay. So we are going to be working with the back of my hair and i'm going to be taking a little ponytail like this and we're going to try and keep our middle part in for this. So we'll just use the tangle, teezer backcombing brush to get all the hair into that little paint out the back, and then we are going to secure that into place with a little hairband. So we're gon na pop a little ponytail together like so then we're gon na grab this little hair tool. I think it's called like a topsy tail and then we're going to pop that, in the middle of the ponytail and twist the hair, through it's quite difficult with hair bands, this thick, but i'm really trying not to use those hair elastics. It will come through and there we have it it's through and it's created this and we can pull that out because i think it looks really nice pulled out and kind of like messy and then what we're going to do is we're going to do another. One of those, but underneath that so we're going to take another section of hair just underneath that and we're going to use another hair band to create a ponytail. Now you don't want to get that top ponytail in it. So keep that out! You can clip that aside using a little crocodile clip, then we're going to grab that topsy tail again, poke it through the center of that out and we are gon na, do the same and twist it through like. So that was a bit easier that time. So we have two now and then what you're gon na want to do is poke the first ponytail through the hole of the second one, which you can just shove your fingers through and pull that through. And then we can tighten but point it out underneath, and you can also always grab some hair grips and grip that ponytail underneath in place, so it doesn't have just grab a grip and try and use a hair grip. That'S similar color to your hair. Just so. It disguises it but yeah and then we can tighten those and then we can start to pull out those twists. So that is what the back of your hair should look like, hopefully guys and then all i'm gon na do is pop in my hair clip and then we're gon na back comb. Actually i might do that. First, i'm going to back comb the little ponytail at the back and i'm just going to take my tangle teezer back combing brush. I'M just going to make it really big, so we can kind of disguise the kind of uh what they called the teeth of the we just want the stars to be showing so we're just going to back comb and puff it up a little bit and then Once you've done that we are going to pop the clip in so i need my mirror for this excuse, the black stuff on the mirror. I'Ve been doing my makeup and i have to kind of well. Basically, whenever i do my eyeliner it never ever comes out. So i kind of test it on there first anyway right so i'm gon na then shove the clip in at the back. I think that's in yes, this looks so cute. Okay, let me show you the back, so that's the back of the hair, let's sort out the front. Obviously i've got my fringe, so i'm just gon na get my fringe up. So i think that'll look really cute. You can tuck it behind your ears. You can basically do whatever you fancy really um. It'S totally up to you, i'm gon na get my fringe out and just quickly give it a bit of a curl again that was shadow um snoring. The dogs are up here and honestly, it stinks. They'Ve been fun. Sorry, i always say it like that: robin's going to laugh when he edits his video um yeah, they keep fighting and it's absolutely reeks. If you've got a french bulldog, then you'll know i've decided to tuck my hair behind my ears. Now i think that looks cute. So yeah this is hairstyle number four guys, the final one.
