( `` Deck, The Halls'' upbeat instrumental music, ), Hey everyone Kayley. Here it is time for our yearly tradition on Kayley Melissa Christmas morning hairstyles.. I think Christmas is an amazing time with family and obviously you're gon na be taking photos. So it's great to have picturesque hair, but it's also just fun to get to style each other's hair get to look cute together and just enjoy the Christmas spirit.. So I hope that you guys enjoy these hairstyles. Remember that, even if you don't celebrate the holiday, you can use these as quick morning hairstyles all year long, so keep comin' back to this video. Hope you enjoy it. Let'S get into it. Start by grabbing a large section of hair on one side., Then you're gon na fishtail braid that section of hair all the way down and secure it with an elastic. Now after that, first braid is done, make sure to pull it apart. Now. Take some hair from your hairline and a big section of hair from the back and opposite side of your head and bring them together and fishtail braid all the way down. And pull apart the braid afterwards.. Don'T forget! You can sub this with a normal braid. If you want to. - And now you can finish it off with a holiday hair accessory. And there you go, I love this one because it looks great from the front. So all the pictures that you're gon na be taking will be on fleek. And also, if you have short hair, you could wear this with just the one. Braid and it'll still look great. So I think you guys will love it. Start by pulling up half your hair. You can choose how much or how little you like best for this and then secure it with an elastic. For the bun backcomb, the hair a bit. If you want more volume and then tie the hair into a very loose knot and pin in place. Wrap any extra ends loosely around the base of the bun and pin that in place. And finally, I'm gon na add this pom pom accessory from Chloe + Isabel.. Honestly, I love it. And that's it you guys know me. I love to put a new spin on an old hairstyle with an accessory.. You could DIY something like this. You could use a fluffy scrunchie, whatever you want.. I think it's great and it's just the perfect amount of Ariana Grande-esque. We're gon na start with a pull-through braid.. If you don't know how to do this one, I have a detailed video on it, which I really recommend, but I'm gon na go through a fast version here for you. Start by pulling the top of your hair into an elastic and clip the tail up and Out of the way. Then create another ponytail, a couple inches down and secure that with an elastic.. Now, here's the fun part. You're gon na drop down the top ponytail split it in half around the bottom ponytail and clip the bottom ponytail up and out of the way. Now create another ponytail, including the dropped hair and then let down the top ponytail split that In half clip up the bottom ponytail and continue until all the rest of the hair is in an elastic., Then pull all these little bubbles. Apart to create this amazing faux-braid look.. Now you can pull everything else into a final elastic.. If you have a little hair left, you can leave it in a ponytail. If you have longer hair when you secure it with the elastic leave it looped on the last rotation and wrap the ends around the base of the ponytail., And that's it. I love this one because it keeps your hair out of the way it is Instagram-perfect and it will work on collarbone-length hair as well. Start by pulling that hair up into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic., Now grab a second elastic and secure the Hair leaving it looped on the last rotation. Twist the ends and wrap them around the elastic and pin that in place.. Now then, at this point, you can fidget around with the loop. Maybe pull the ends down and pin them to the head. Whatever makes you give yourself a thumbs up in the mirror, that's what you should do., And that is our final updo.. This one is great for everyday and it's the fastest one. So if you just cannot be bothered or if you have little kiddos trying to pull, you downstairs go for this one. And there you go. Those are the Christmas hairstyles for this video. Amber Banchev: Hi Kayley, I have a question regarding baby hairs. I grew up wearing bangs which I wore until recently and have discovered that my head is covered in baby hair. I have super fine super straight hair and often my baby hairs have a mind of their own. I've tried the toothbrush, hairspray thing and it only works a little. It won't work at all on those one to two inch pieces that only like to stand straight up. I also have a cowlick right above one of my temples that forces them to grow into a side part. I'm afraid to go into hair waxes or gels due to the heaviness of the products. Should I just bite the bullet or do you have any ideas on how to tame them or style them?
