Simple Back To School Hairstyle
Watch as I do my 6 year old nieces hair in a quick and easy hairstyle for the first day of school.
So this is my six-year-old niece and we're gon na do something real cute and simple for the first day of school. So as always, I'm gon na start with satin Shield heat protectant to protect her from the heat of the blow-dryer. Now I'm gon na part out my first section and I'm gon na take a cap and put it on the rest of her hair to prevent it from drying out. I'Ve never blow-dry her hair this straight before, but she needs her inge trim. So I decided to get as straight as I can with the blow-dryer since I'm not gon na Flatiron. She was so excited about her straight hair. I mean she was combing and in the mirror and swinging all evening. Next, I'm just gon na trim. Her split ends. Her very first trim next, I'm just gon na do a simple cornrow down the center of her head from the front and from the back, with the exception of her edges, I am now gon na slick, her hair up into two ponytails using Jam, but take these Hair ties without metal, no matter of using volleys scrunchies, whatever type of ponytail holder, just don't get the ones with metal pieces because they will cause breakage. Next, I'm just gon na hook. Her edges up with some lead edge control. I'M gon na rub it in my fingers and brush it in with a little small brush. I spelled this brush from Tajima. That'S why it says Toshima on the back and now she's all ready for school thanks everyone for watching. I hope you liked this video and make sure to smash that, like button see you later bye,

Not only is she absolutely adorable but I plan on applying and going through the training to be a foster mom for the state and I know there are alot of African American girls that need a permanent (until they are adopted by someone else or me ;-) ) foster home and I was worried about how to do african american girls hair! I know, such a silly thing to worry about but I literally my whole life have never had a female african american friend simply because of where I lived so I never got to play with their hair or learn how to style it and I know foster care is so hard on kids and I absolutely did NOT want to make the girl's life harder by not knowing how to do her hair if the foster child placed with me is AA). So THANK YOU for the informative video especially with the products and the brush type, etc. Hopefully I'll now be prepared to style the hair of any child placed with me. This is of course if I actually survive to be able to foster since I'm currently fighting a totally 100% preventable oncoming death because I can't find enough souls to spare a dollar so I can have the funds to donate my moldy and rotted house to the fire department for them to train on and then rebuild a house from as many salvaged and secondhand materials as I can find. Fostering is something I have always wanted to do, so I do hope that I get a chance to help some kids and know how to do their hair so they can go to school with confidence.
