Holiday Hairstyle On Curly Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another video. Thank You shea moisture for partnering with me in this video to show you guys how I achieve this beautiful holiday hairstyle. So the first thing I'm going to be doing is starting off with some dirty nasty hair that definitely needs to get washed. This is about a four to five day hair, so it's very dry, very tangled and very matted. So I need to get some hydration in there, so I'm gon na be going in with the Shea Moisture coconut head biscuit lime, which is an OG line. I'M gon na start off with the curl and shine shampoo, and that's just gon na help. Remove any build-up and anything that's in my scalp and then I'm gon na go ahead and detangle with the curl and shine conditioner. Now this is one of my favorite lines, because my hair always ends up really really nice, soft and shiny. Whenever I use it because of the coconut oil, it helps to hydrate and protect my hair, while also reducing the breakage, as you guys can tell once I wash my hair. My hair is super duper shiny, very soft, very full, very luscious, and I didn't even have to deep condition so starting off with the hair. Stop I'm gon na go ahead and divide my hair in this section that I'm gon na be working with, and I usually always were on the same side. I don't know why, but I just I guess, because of comfort is easier for me to do a style on the right side of my hair, so I'm gon na go ahead and part my hair and then I'm going to put away this side that I'm not Going to be working with the first product I'm going to be using is my favorite, Oh G, product of all time and it's the shea moisture, coconut hibiscus curl enhancing smoothie. This is a very thick cream which hydrates and just makes her curls really really pop. So although my curls are not going to be out, I do want to hydrate my curls and keep them nice and shiny, while they're in this braided. Look that I'm going to create. So after I apply that I'm just gon na divide my hair into little sections and then I'm going to secure each little section with a rubber band. I'M gon na repeat this process until I completed that entire section make sure you brush your edges, because if you don't it's gon na be harder to brush it after you secure the rubber band, I did want to. Let you guys know that all of these products are available nationwide in Target, so you can always go ahead and find this collection. They are super duper affordable. Collection has silk protein and neem oil and, if you don't know what that is so protein just basically helps smooth your hair for a softer, silkier feel and neem oil helps control frizz, while adding shine. So I secured six sections right before I begin my braiding I'm gon na do a regular French, braid or Dutch braid. I can never tell the difference, but I'm going to be doing a braid and it's going to be connecting each section. So it looks like one uniform braid, but with the little detail on the side, showing that each section was separated. So take your time when breeding, because braiding takes a lot of practice. But when I do it in sections like this, I feel like it's much easier to braid and it looks neater now as first styling. My favorite part, I'm gon na be using the curl enhancing smoothie all over my hair. It works as a perfect leaving, conditioner and styler. At the same time, one thing that I like to do with the curl enhancing smoothie is that I like to put some water when I have the product in my hand, just because it is a thicker cream, and if I want a fluffier look, then that kind Of just waters down the product, what's not so heavy and it doesn't weigh down my hair. I also go in with the coconut hibiscus frizz-free curls, and this is just gon na help hold my hair. It'S gon na give it more of a little cast so that my hair is not SuperDuper fluffy, but it gives it additional hold. So I'm gon na use my favorite tangle teezer brush and that's just gon na help me style my hair. I do it in sections as usual and then I scrunch upwards in every single section, I'm gon na repeat the same exact process throughout my entire hair. This collection always gives me bomb results. If you can see how shiny my curls are, how enhanced they are, and that's just while my hair is wet so wait until you see when my hair dries out. It'S amazing definition. So if you love curl definition - and you want to enhance your curls girl, if you have not tried this little combo out - definitely try it out if you're, the type of person that always has frizz on their hair or the hair is unruly, and it's just hard To give your hair nice moisture definition and shine definitely try out the coconut hibiscus collection, because their products are very rich in texture, very thick and very, very nourishing. As you can see, especially around this time for the winter, you want to make sure you're hydrating your curls, making sure that they're popping all year round and who doesn't want extra definition. This line is cater to definition, shine and curl enhancement. So that's something that I did want to share with you guys. I always work any product that I apply on my hair in sections, because I don't want to neglect any strand. I want to make sure every single strand is coated with the product that way towards the end. There is a uniform to look, and everything just looks very nice and polished, and the great thing about this collection is that, although they don't have an oil, you don't need an oil. You don't need an oil to have shine the shine literally just peeks right through with each of these products. So after styling, my hair, I'm gon na go ahead and use the coconut, have biscuit, hold and shine. Moisture mist - and this is just gon na - really hold. My curls, it's gon na, add an extra layer of shine. If you guys can see the sections that I'm spraying, which is pretty much all over my hair, are automatically gets super duper shiny. I did put it on the braid because I wanted hold, so I did spray it all over and went a little crazy, but, as you can see, the curls are already popping and they're ready to be diffused or air dried. Now that my curls are nice and defined they are a hundred percent dry. You guys can just take a look at this definition. This shine how fluffy it feels, and although it looked like, I use a lot of products. I really didn't because my curls were not weighed down at all. They look super luscious and fluffy. I'M gon na go ahead and take a couple bobby pins and just pin this side of my hair so that the braid can pop out a little bit more and that's just gon na keep those hairs away from overlapping the braid. Once I bobby pin my hair, I'm going to take these beautiful gold cuffs that I always use when doing a style, I'm going to put one in the bottom to cover the rubberband and then I'm just gon na add some extra ones on the braid. I'M gon na try to fluff out my braids a little bit as much as I can. I did the break kind of tight, so there's not much fluffing to do there, but if you want you can fluff out the braid add some more gold cuffs. You can add less if you like, but this is overall the final look. I love love, love this style, it's perfect for the holiday, it's beautiful, it's easy to do and your curls gon na be popping with this collection. Thank you guys so much for watching this.
