Hey this is Gwen from hairbow supplies, etc. Today we are going to make a Santa hair bow, so it's going to be looking sort of like the santa claus red with the black belt and a little bit of white and cute in the middle. So what we have is two pieces of red ribbon. This is 7/8 inch, one is 20 inches long and the other is 22 inches long. These are for my spikes. There are seven of them, one black and the other are red. There are six and a half inches long. We have two red glitter bows: we have some self-adhesive rhinestone stickers and we're going to be using those for our spikes. This is a piece of 3/8 black ribbon. This is for the center and it's going to be 7 inches long. You'Re gon na need some white marabou. This is just about six inches long. You need a ribbon slider. This is a square ribbon slider, and this is for the santa's buckle, and this is a 3/8 inch width one. You need a lined alligator clip and I have some rhinestone buttons haven't decide if we're gon na use them in our boat, but we might so. I just have them in just in case so awesome of a lighter. I have hot glue scissors and needle and thread and of course, my best friend hairspray. So let's go ahead and get started. So you take your ribbon and you seal the edges and you grab your ribbon and you bring it over to the left. Make sure it's on an angle bring your left ribbon over to the right and make sure that these are even as well make sure that this has a nice little bee turn grab the ribbon and pull it under grab this and bring it up and turn it To the left, then you turn it back. You can make sure that these are even and they're even yep. These look good, and then you get your needle and thread. We poke it right to the center, bring it back through, put your needle through the loop and wrap your thread around your bow. A couple times hold on to your bow turn it to the right. Take your thread and pull wrap your thread back around your ribbon. A couple times and then bring your needle and then secure it in the back. Take your scissors and cut. Take your hair bow and pull it out a little bit, and then you want to get your piece of paper and we are going to spray our hair bow with hair spray, adjust it a little bit to how you want and then let it sit and dry. You you next we're going to put the self-adhesive rhinestone stickers on, so you just cut out a strip we're going to cut three two time and then you just take the backing off and then we're going to put these on our ribbon spikes. So you just take this and put it on the inside of your ribbon spike and that's three and then you're just going to continue doing that all the way around. Now that our ribbon spikes are ready, let's go ahead and assemble our hair bow. First, we're going to take the marabou and put it in the center of the bow, so just get your hot glue and put a stripe right down the center and put your Mirabeau right in the middle. Let'S go ahead and put some glue on the back of the biggest hair bow, and we will put this right on top of our marabou. Get some more glue. Put it in the center, get our second bow and we'll put that down. Okay, now we'll get our rent done slider. What you want to do is take this and hold it and then put your ribbon up and through just like a belt, and it's gon na go right in this Center. So what we'll do is just get some hot glue on the back and we'll place that right in the middle of our bow. Next, we'll turn this over, put some hot glue and put your alligator clip right in the middle next you're going to take your top part, hold down your Center and pull this all the way back and slide it through real, quick pick open. Your alligator clip put some glue down and, as you keep holding your clip, you're going to pull your 3/8 ribbon all the way down and hold that down for just a moment. Next hold on to your ribbon slider and pull your 3/8 ribbon all the way to the back again hold that there and we're going to pinch open our alligator clip and slide the ribbon under make sure that that's nice and set there we'll move all these extra Feathers in a minute so you're going to hold open your alligator clip, put some more hot glue down and pull that three. It'S ribbon all the way down. So that's how you make a Santa's hair bow. Thank you so much for joining us and please be sure to subscribe to our Channel, have a great day.
