Candy Cane Hair Color

So, I love Christmas, and I love crazy hair color. On that note, I think this candy cane hair color by Anya Goy is kinda amazing. I’ve actually had this idea doing platinum blonde hair with red streaks for the holiday season in the past, but never actually did it. I just love how her hair looks though!

Anya Goy states that she first bleached her hair to a platinum blonde color which she toned with “Fudge Paintbox Whiter Shade of Pale”.  Next, she applied Crazy Colour “Fire” in sliced foils to create the red streaks. A big problem with using punky colors with bleached hair, is that the punky colors will often bleed into the bleached hair when washing it out. To prevent this from happening, she individually shampooed each red streak 3 times and conditioned separately. Even then, she said it did slightly bleed into the white hair, leaving a pink undertone.
