MONAT: My Review of This New Hair Product Line

So I recently had a rep from MONAT Global contact me, offering some samples for a new and upcoming hair product company and let me tell you that I am hooked. These products not only made my hair feel amazing, but there are a lot of benefits to supporting such a great business.

MONAT hair products are cruelty, toxin and chemical free, and environmentally safe. The high-quality ingredients are naturally based, pure, safe and sustainable… but what does this mean? 

It means that the rich formulations of the naturally based ingredients work in harmony with each other to make your hair feel amazing.

It means that these products are clinically proven to significantly decrease hair loss and increase hair regrowth at a better rate than other leading hair rejuvenation brands.

But enough of this science and business talk… let me tell you about my MONAT experience now…

I received a nice little MONAT kit in the mail, filled with a ton of information. The samples I received were the Revive Shampoo, Revitalize Conditioner, Replenish Masque, Restore Leave-In Conditioner and (my absolute favorite) the Rejuvenique Oil.

I was so excited to wake up early and try this new line as it seemed too good to be true. I read the directions thoroughly to make sure that I could accurately report on my experience, and then I was good to go.

Step 1: MONAT Rejuvenique Oil

Right away, I noticed that the Rejuvenique Oil can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment. I decided that I would try this method since my hair is fine and doesn’t need much oil afterward, and I could instantly tell that this oil is the real deal. 

I regularly use oils like BioSilk and Super Skinny Serum, but this Rejuvenique Oil felt so much better. I’m not really sure how to explain it in words, but you know when you can just tell that something is higher quality? That’s how this was.

The other thing I really liked about the Rejuvenique Oil is that it smells uh-mazing. You will definitely not be disappointed when you take a whiff of this stuff.

To use it as a pre-shampoo treatment, you just have to add a few drops to your hands and then rub through dry hair. Leave on for 15 minutes before washing your hair.

Step 2:  Revive Shampoo

This is pretty basic. I shampooed my hair as normal. However, I did shampoo it twice since the first one didn’t get as much of a lather because of the pre-shampoo treatment. 

The second round was great though! My hair felt really clean when I was done, which is awesome since there are no harsh ingredients like most other shampoos. 

This shampoo also worked well for me since I have fine hair and it is meant to add volume. The product is very concentrated, so you don’t need to use too much.

Step 3: Replenish Masque / Revitalize Conditioner

I actually used these samples two days in a row. The first day I just used the masque without the conditioner and vice versa for the second day.

I contemplated using both of them back-to-back but found that I really didn’t need to. The masque was wonderful. It works by infusing your hair with vital nutrients to eliminate frizz and reduce split ends. 

After shampooing my hair, I towel dried my hair and applied the masque directly to my hair. I let it sit for 15 minutes and then washed it out. My hair felt so soft and manageable, that I didn’t want to use the Revitalize Conditioner yet.

The next day, after shampooing my hair, I used the Revitalize Conditioner. It was really, truly amazing. My hair felt so soft and healthy but did not feel weighed down at all. 

Believe me, with my kind of hair, it is really hard to find a good product. The funny thing was that while it was in my hair, it did not feel like it was going to work that good… but the second I rinsed it out, my hair turned into silk. 

I really liked the experience.

Step 4: Restore Leave-In Conditioner & Rejuvenique Oil

The Restore Leave-In was also pretty awesome. It made my hair feel really soft and easy to comb through. I also added a little bit more of the Rejuvenique and the result was….

My hair felt really healthy and manageable for the rest of the day, but never once felt weighed-down.

Overall, my experience with MONAT was really great. I really liked how each of the products made my hair feel while I was using them, and how soft my hair felt when I was done. I would recommend this product line to anyone.

I’d have to say that my favorite of these products was the Rejuvenique Oil. I really cannot say enough good things about it. The high-quality ingredients are definitely worth the price, in my opinion.
