Cutting All Of My Hair Off! *Not Click Bait* 2022 Natural Hair Journey

Um, i need y'all to do better. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your dumb [ __ ] need to grow up. Hey girls, it's armani b. Welcome back to my channel before i jump into this video. I want to say this was previously recorded. It is currently january, 2nd. 2022. 10 o'clock p.m. This video was supposed to be a tutorial on how i re-dyed my underlayer pink, but my hair had been in the worst shape it had ever been before, and i decided to chop all of my hair off. So this was supposed to be a walk-through video, but since, in the end all i did was chop all of my hair off just sit back and watch me self destruct. I'M still gon na explain a little bit of what's going on so right here, i'm just putting on the latex gloves, because the first thing i'm gon na do is dye the top of my hair black. I had done it before, but i did not have enough boxes of dye, so you can still see a little bit of the ginger color that i had. Instead of the usual two boxes of a hair dye that i use in the front and two boxes of hair dye that i use in the back, the ginger was so bright that i actually needed three boxes of black hair dye to cover it up, and i Did not previously do that, so i'm just doing that right now, because i want all of those brownish tones gone. I want my hair to be as dark as possible on the top, even while doing this in this very moment, i'm just thinking in my head, my hair is so damaged, like the curls. Do not even bounce back they're so straight, and this is something that i already knew. So that's why i went ahead and i did whatever i wanted to do to my hair anyway, because i had plans on cutting it off. When i dyed my hair pink, i knew that it was already slightly damaged from the ginger. I did not care. I continued to do everything that i did because i knew in the end i was going to cut my hair off. I always cut my hair off in the blink of an eye. If my hair is damaged it just has to go. I don't really have a problem with holding on to my hair, so i take full accountability for everything. I knew that this was going to be a disaster, but i didn't care, but i just figured hey: why not make a video out of this? Because in the long run, i'm not gon na have hair for the new year. So this is my way of just saying goodbye. I guess on okay, three diamond bracelets don't get flamed. I rinsed out the top portion of my hair. Now i'm gon na go ahead and dye the back, i'm using ion perma brights magenta color, um yeah. This works just like the l'oreal high colors, where all you need to do is just put this mixture with some developer and it's going to lift your hair to a very bright color. Since my hair was dark at the roots, it didn't lift exactly how i wanted it to lift, but that's fine. I just went in with a little bit of semi-permanent hair color, i'm going to show you guys the entire process. This is me going in with my blow dryer just to help lift my roots faster girl, just damaging it even more like just adding on to the damage, a hot mess and, like i said before, because my roots were so dark. It didn't lift to the color that i wanted it to so i just went in with a little bit of adore pink rose like bruh. Look at my hair. It is straight like look at those pieces, it is so straight. I can't so i'm back after rinsing. The dye out of my under layer - and this is how my hair looks - you can literally see how damaged my under layer is. It is literally straight. I need y'all to do better. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your dumb ass hoes need to grow up. Since my hair was so damaged, when i did just wash and go, i didn't even think to show you guys the products, because it doesn't even matter like it doesn't even matter. I was putting those products on damaged hair that i cut off anyway. Like look at me, i'm just trying to scrunch it up to find the life in it yeah. This is me trying to convince myself that my hair is cute, so this is how my hair looked after that wash and go. I went on a trip to washington dc and the damage was definitely noticeable this. This is going to be my best friend today, because this is going to. Let me know exactly where i need to cut. This is going to reverb the curls that have potential back to their fullest potential and then like, if they're straight pieces left over after that. Those are the pieces that i'm going to cut, get the [ __ ] this apogee, but um. The first thing i'm going to do is go ahead and wash my hair, because it's you hear that crunch. It'S itchy, it's itchy as hell, i'm getting flakes all over me. I'M gon na jump right into washing my hair, i'm using the shea moisture detangling shampoo from the red palm oil line. This shampoo works the best since my hair is damaged goods. It'S so dry like freaking hay. This is the only shampoo that works good enough to be able to work my fingers through without ripping all of my hair out. I'M smiling, but it ain't funny. I'M smiling, but it ain't funny. Next, i'm going in with the red palm oil conditioner i'm going to just work that in make sure my hair is nice and detangled. My curls are so loose and my hair is shedding so much. You can literally see the damage like it's actually a sad sight. I just want to make sure my hair is thoroughly detangled before i go in with the aphogee protein treatment and you have to make sure you start on clean hair. Next, i'm going in with the apogee protein treatment. I suggest putting this in the spray bottle for an easier application, and i'm just going to go in section by section and spray. This all over my hair make sure it is thoroughly saturated. It'S too much it's just too much. It'S too much. My hair literally has no elasticity; it just feels really gummy and weak. Effigy is one of the strongest protein treatments and it always helps me whenever i feel like my hair has been going through some things, but honestly my hair was just so far gone like. I know to you guys in some areas my hair might not look as damaged, but it is fried you, oh after thoroughly saturating your hair with effigy you're supposed to dry the product into your hair. I suggest using a dryer that you sit underneath. I do not have a dryer to sit underneath, so i'm using a handheld dryer once you dry this product into your hair. Your hair gets super hard, so please do not agitate your hair as it can fall off. So after drawing the effigy into my hair, i noticed that the straight pieces were going to be straight no matter what, and i just decided to go in with my hair shears and cut those straight pieces off to even it up with the rest of my hair. Also, while doing this, i realized my hair looks incredibly thin and i can see through my curls and i hated that okay, so i rinsed the protein treatment out and i'm going in with a shea moisture hair mask i'm just going to go ahead and work that Product into each section of my hair - and i am going to cut my hair off this is the moment where i realized there's nothing. I can do for my hair at this point to revive these curls and i just need to cut it off and i didn't think twice about it. I just did it i'm literally laughing, because the little person in my head is just like cut it off cut it off. L, o l, those pink pieces of my hair, would not curl for anything. At that point, i just wanted to give myself an undercut and just shave the pink off, because those pieces had no life in them like there was nothing i could do for those pieces of my hair and i'm just going to do the same thing on the Other side i'ma just chop it off, although it might look like, i didn't know how i was cutting my hair. My hair is super, even i put it in a ponytail and i banded it just to show you guys. My hair was cut straight across now. I'M just going to move on to the other two sections and honestly this part was a little bit more satisfying, because the front of my hair was not reverting either. The front of my hair was super duper straight and it needed to go goodbye good riddance. I am not gon na miss this damage and most likely i am never gon na dye, my hair again, honestly, it wasn't really the dyeing that did my hair in it was the amount of times i did it. So this is how my hair looked in the end after doing a wash and go and dyeing the remaining bits of that pink hair.
