Hey squad welcome back to the channel as y'all can see your girl got it here i mean if you read the title you already know what's about to happen today's big day, i'm about to big chop my hair again, um the reason you probably want to know What is the reason i don't know i just been having it like. I don't like doing my hair anymore. Y'All know i'm always complaining about my hair. It'S just so thick like it's so thick and it takes so much time to style it, and i just i'm tired of it. So i want to have shorter hair. I might grow it out start over, but i might wear it short for a little while i don't know so. I feel like okay, the first time when i went natural, which was nine years ago almost 10 years ago. I cut my hair in 2012 and it's going to be 2022., so i've been natural for like 9 to 10 years, but i mean i'll still be natural, but this is going to be my second big chop. All this hair is about to go bye-bye, i'm. Actually. I don't know, am i excited, i'm excited, i'm nervous. I can't believe i'm about to do this, so i just have my hair out so y'all can see so y'all can see. I ain't gon na be seeing this no more for a while. So the first time i baked y'all my hair, i didn't really like it and i i think, like a couple weeks later, i put in box braids and i was wearing braids for a while until it got a little longer. But this time i feel, like i'm older, i'm more confident. I can actually wear it out and if i don't really like it, then i can just wear a wig, so we shall see, but i just think this would be easier, less maintenance and just less of a headache, because it's like one of the things i'll be Stressing about like my hair is just like you can't even it's just it's just too much, so i'm going to do my second big chop. Oh, if y'all ready, y'all want to see this process. Y'All want to see this video before we even get started, go ahead and like the video we are in a new year, this is the first video of 2022 y'all we're the new year. So let's get these likes up. Remember whenever you guys, like my video, it helps my channel grow. It really helps my channel, so we want our channel to grow a lot in 2022. So, let's start this year off right a thumbs up. If y'all want to see me chop off all my hair i'll, wait i'll wait! Okay, so i don't know i don't i'm not gon na cut it. Like super short like this, i think i'm gon na give myself a little bit because it's gon na shrink. So i don't want to cut it like this, then i'm gon na have nothing. I wan na i wan na have just like a cute little twa. I don't know, i just don't know okay, i should probably do it in sections huh. Let me get. Let me get it together. All right. Let me just have to tie it back up, so my heart is beating so fast stop. I don't think i want to go that short. Okay. We got ta do bye, my heart is being so fast bro. You look like a chicken here now at this moment, come and kiss them wait. Oh, that is a lot of hair, i'm shaking all right now, i'm about to actually uniform it, so we got to make it at least this short. This is what i wanted. Oh, should i just follow this pattern? I guess oh okay, so in the front i already had um, i already had breakage. So, like all around the front, it's all broken off right here. Y'All see it's sure right here. It was already like this from postpartum and then also me not taking care of it. That'S another reason why i just need to get rid of my hair, because i don't take care of it at all and maybe i'll take care of it more once it's shorter yeah, i'm not! I am because it ain't gon na be that much to take care of. I don't feel like you, didn't, even cut it right. Why is this part shorter? No, it's not! Okay. I guess we got ta start from the front, because this is me all right. All right we're just gon na follow. Oh lord, i'm so hit it. Oh lord, i'm gon na try to make it even but like yeah, my hair is actually pretty dang damaged like looking at it. No, it says pretty damaged yeah, it's soft, but it's because i had just uh detangled it, but it's like uneven. I feel like i'm not going to even oh. If y'all watch this video y'all, i just i just feel like y'all i'll, be so frustrated with my hair, and i just feel like this is a fresh start and it's kind of a little. I don't think i have all my brain cells working right now honestly, but i just i just feel compelled to do this. I just want to fresh start, but i definitely don't feel like all my brain still working. It do look so soft. Oh my goodness. I just need to stop looking in the viewfinder like this part right here, i got heat damage, know see how straight it is right there. So, like my actual, where it doesn't have heat growth, damage is right there, but i don't think i'm gon na do it. That far, oh and i'm a um one of the things i want to do also is color it. So the first color i want to do it is like um, maybe like a burgundy or like that. Scissor color y'all know that scissor color, it's like burgundy-ish reddish. No, it's not really a burgundy, it's like more of a reddish, so something like that. Maybe i just want to experiment and play with it. Oh, my goodness, all of the brain cells aren't working. All the brain cells aren't working. Why is it so short in the bag? Do y'all have anxiety right now, watch me because i definitely have it doing it myself. Definitely, oh, my god, like a little more okay. So earlier when i was at the beauty supply a little pause, i bought one two. I only bought three three pair of lashes and i also bought some hoop earrings. I feel like i have to wear earrings and lashes every day. I feel like i'm cutting it long, but then after i cut it, it looks shorter. I am not my hand. I really don't even care about hair honestly y'all. I don't i just care about making my life easier and having this thick old hair, not like i'm complaining, but it is a lot of work. It takes too much time on that time. Oh dang, the way out the way it looks cut, looks so crazy. It actually is kind of cute, though okay, okay, the last clip trying to match it up, see the parts in the front is heat damaged. I have to cut that little piece. Oh look. Y'All! Can see dang y'all see the heat damage y'all see how this piece is like straightest ever and then look at the difference. Dang wow, that's what he damaged to do to your hair. I had heat damage like in the middle from when i was doing that leave out. Also that i guess that means i'll be selling my uh. You part wigs. It just needs a little bit of shaping. Tell us a lot it kind of higher up at the front. Huh. Is this too long, because i know i'm gon na have shrinkage so like my hair is gon na curl up and it's probably gon na be like that little you know and like this is already that little. I need to cut these always cut these anyway. Okay, so we just got to see how it looks once i add some water to it, but i my hair is dirty and i'm uh getting a shower and washing and stuff. You wan na see what my hair looks like. It is all going huh. I feel free, i know i made the top high. I don't know if i should do it. This is what you had cut it. You think i should do it all evening. Don'T people don't people, have it like curlier, a little more at the top? I don't think that this would be a very much of a difference huh. I should do it all evening how you, i feel good, if you feel it man, you feel good man. It was a good decision. That'S about that yeah. I should just wait to do anything else, this right, it's cause. I have heat damage right here. That'S probably why it's so high like that extremely straight in this. This is how much hair i lost weight. That'S all here, yeah! This is how much hair i cut off. Yes, 25 millimeters! Thank you. Okay! If i were a boy, i think i got to do a denman brush, that's how they define the curls i used to have one i might even throw them away hey y'all, so i just wanted to come back to give y'all a final final look. Okay. So this is my hair and the next day, by the end of the day, i did uh earlier, as i saw in the video tarot, make sure everything was even and you went down a lot and i like this length a whole lot better. I did do my baby hairs a little bit, it's going to take some getting used to it. Like all day. I'Ve just been looking at myself in the mirror every pass, i'm like who the little ball-headed little boy over there who little ball hit bar. Let me stop there. I just want y'all, but i really like it. It'S so low maintenance um. I did it with the sponge. I really have to figure out my my products. My hair is kind of looking dry and i got ta see what actually helps with the curl, because i thought my hair was curler than this. To be honest, like it, don't take a lot of work to curl it but yeah. I like how it's like. No hair really like nothing low maintenance. I can get ready pretty quickly during the day, then i just got a little bit of hair and i can easily plop a wig on that thigh um. I wasn't sure about the back like. Oh my god. This part is sticking out, i don't know, but i think i'm gon na leave it on for a while, but i definitely am gon na be coloring. It so stay tuned. For that comment down below what color, i think i should do. First um, what else? I don't know, let me know how you like it i'll, also leave some product recommendations that really help with curl like curly products. That'Ll really help my curls activate. I use camille rose in it today and like um, gel eco styler gel. So this is what it looks like it's gon na take a lot of practice, a lot of getting used to, but i'm excited i feel so good. Now this all off y'all gon na have to uh you're gon na have to get used to the little head. B Conyers: Find out your porosity, that will help with your styling process and product selection. Weekly deep conditioning will help tremendously. Keep it simple. My hair is low back length straightened and my entire wash day routine from start to finish is no more than 2 hrs, including DC and styling. Congrats on your new journey. You look beautiful

SheGLDN: Co-wash with Hello Hydration, follow up with Giovanni Tea Tree Conditioner, then olive oil ecostyler gel. Make your curls with just your hand in a circle motion. Anything else will tangle your hair. Once it’s dry follow up with a light oil like coconut oil. It looks great on you! Wore my hair like this in college ❤️

Samantha Brown: Your hair looks amazing and short hair fits your face perfectly! I miss my hair being this short. I've been natural since 2014 and usually give myself a depression cut (or shall I say buzz cut) every year just to relieve some stress because I hate combing my hair as well. Unfortunately my husband really likes my natural hair so he doesn't want me to big chop anymore. I shaved it off when we first got married and he has gotten to watch it really grow especially with me keeping up with my hair trims and taking care of it. I recently got the urge to shave it off again (because I'm stressed) and he was not having it! It was nice to see that Terell was very supportive of your choice to do this. I can't wait to see the boys reaction! My go to products with short hair and even long now is Motions foam wrap and Argan oil eco styler together. Their foam wrap is full of oils and is very moisturizing and the eco is just a staple product of mine. I also use the mango and lime Jamaican black castor oil with vitamins A,D,E mixed with conditioner and water in a spray bottle before styling. I use it as a refresher and it helps with growth. Try them all if you haven't :)

If you want to maintain health in your hair I wouldn't dye it unless your using some kind of natural dye. the chemicals in regular hair dyes will also cause damage just like relaxers do. I've been natural for 5 years. I dont straighten, dye or relax my hair and I use products like shea moisture , miss jessies, camille rose, aunt jackies, innersense, uncle funkys daughter, TGIN, and twisted sista. Less hair to manage feels like a weight off my shoulders. My hair was damaged, postpartum took some of my edges, I was over it.
