Hey y'all welcome back to another video on my channel. My name is angie. If you're new here welcome so in today's video i'm going to be showing y'all my wash day routine, not really a routine, because i don't do it often, but when i need to in emergency situations where i have to wash my own hair. This is what it's like, and i wanted to show y'all. Also the last video i filmed like this was like posted a year ago. So it's time for an updated version and in this video i'm going to be showing you guys just detangling, my hair, washing it blow drying it and then flat ironing my hair as well. So i had took down the braids that were underneath my quick weave and right now, i'm just trying to detangle my hair get all the tangles out as much as i can. I'M sectioning my hair off in four parts. That way, when i get in the shower to wash my hair, it is easier for me to wash so yeah. That'S what i'm doing right here and then later i will show you all the shampoo that i'm going to be using. I am very tender headed, so any faces. You see where it looks like i'm in pain, nine times out of ten. I am because i'm just very tender headed even when i'm doing my own hair, so yeah just excuse the faces that i'm making so so i did use the hash keratin protein, smoothing, shampoo and conditioner. This was my first time using their products. I'Ve never used them before, but i did like them, so i didn't feel myself actually shampooing my hair, just conditioning my hair, which is what i'm doing in this clip right now. So i wish i would have combed out my hair before i conditioned it and i feel like i should have known that, but i didn't do it and thought. I was very tired when i was filming this, but i am going to apply this. I let it sit my hair for 10 minutes and then i rinse it out so so, once i'm done rinsing out the conditioner, i am going to section my hair in four parts. Again, i'm going to start off by detangling my hair. I kept switching back and forth between the comb and the powder brush wet brush, whatever you want to call it, because my hair would not detangle, and i was in so much pain like y'all, i'm so tender, it's ridiculous, so yeah once i do that, then i'm Gon na start blow drying it. Oh my gosh, i really wan na just cut this, but then my hair will be uneven, so i want to cut this so so obviously i have heat damage. I did not take care of my leave out when i had my quick weave in but anywho. I am now sectioning my hair in four parts and to kind of get the hair on my face. I'M gon na twist my hair up and just put clips in my hair just to make it easier so here once again, i'm just still trying to detangle all of my hair so to help blow dry, my hair, i'm going to be using the ion hair. Straightening pick, this is universal to most blow dryers. When i was using it, i was having trouble attaching it on and i was like this ain't universal, but i eventually got it on the right way. This really does help blow dry, my hair, just quicker. It makes my hair just more manageable and yes, i didn't use the word manageable for my hair before i would sit under a hooded, dryer and my hair would still be you know, tangly and i would just have to really struggle with detangling it. But with this i don't have to do that, and so i'm so glad that my mom got this, i'm just taking my hair in each section and even parting it off in, like smaller sections, to help me blow dry, my hair. So once i finish blow drying my hair, i'm going to part my hair off in sections again and i'm just going to clip my hair back. That way, it's easier for me to flat iron it! So when i was first starting to flat out my hair, i did try to start from the back of my head to the front and that wasn't working out for me. But here in the clip you'll see where i was trying to do it. That way, and it just wasn't working out so i eventually tried flat ironing my hair another way so yeah in this clip you'll see me starting from the back and then in the next clip you'll see where i'm like halfway done. So, as you can see, i'm halfway done with my hair. I am now at the front part of my hair and i'm just going to section off my hair just little by little and flat on each section. The best i can. I have not flat ironed my own hair in years, like it's been a minute since i've done my own hair by myself, so yeah it didn't come out the way i really wanted it to, but it's the best that i could do to make it work. For me, so you know i i i i begin oh when i'm with you got me doing things for sure foreign, so so, once i got done flat ironing the front of my head, i still have to do the back and at this point i was very Much over it, okay, i was ready to be done. It was super late, but i eventually got done so. I just finished patterning, my hair. I wish i would have went over my roots with like a hot comb or just gotten the flat iron a little bit more closer to my roots, so my hair could be a little bit more straight because i don't know if you could tell, but obviously, like My hair is still a little bit puffy, especially towards the back, so this is the final result of what my hair turned out to look like. I wasn't too pleased with it. I liked how the front of my hair came out. It was just more so. The back is what i should have focused on a little bit more too, but yep. This is the end result. I hope you guys enjoyed today's video. Thank you so much for watching, don't forget to like comment and subscribe and i will catch y'all in the next one. You
