Hey guys, it's kelly welcome back to vlogmas for today's video. It is time i'm going to be sharing my makeup predictions for 2022., so this is my second year filming this video and i had so much fun, filming it for 2021 that i actually reviewed all my predictions in a very recent video that i will leave linked Down below and if you saw that you know that about half of my predictions, maybe more came true, so i'm very excited to share with you guys what i'm anticipating for 2022. In my predictions videos i like to be very specific, like not just general trends, i mean i did pick a few general trends, but i like really break it down. I'M like this brand's gon na come out with this. This brand is gon na come out with this. This brand will collaborate with this, and this video is extra exciting, because it's a collab video with my friend angela kniqvist, and she is going to be sharing her makeup predictions now. She sent me her video yesterday night and it took everything in me not to open it, because i was like no no kelly. You have to wait to watch this video after you film, yours, because i don't want to be like swayed by her video like i want mine to kind of be my own and hers to be her own, because i want to hear like how they differ and What we agree on so i'm very excited to see her predictions if you guys are not familiar with angelica. She does a lot of like colorful makeup, so our makeup, aesthetic is like very, very different, so i feel, like it'll, be kind of fun to have these two different sides, like i mean look at me right now, i'm in full neutral. So i will have her video and her channel linked down below. If you guys are new here. My name is kelly and in the month of december i'm filming vlogmas. So you can find a new video from me every single morning at 9am eastern, be sure to subscribe and let's hop into these predictions, okay, i have so much that i want to talk about now. First, i want to just speak generally on trends, because when i was prepping for this video, i don't just go into this based on like this is what i like or want to see. I try to do like some research into it. I mean it's still very much opinion based but like a lot of my predictions are influenced by like fashion trends like trend forecasting, similar themes with celebrity makeup artist or celebrity makeup. But typically we see a trend cycle a lot of times. It'S about like a 20-year trend cycle, so you can usually predict what will be coming in terms of makeup and fashion. But makeup has recently taken on not even that recently at this point. But makeup has now taken on a fast fashion approach, not only with launches but even trends, so we're seeing kind of like micro trends with makeup. So because of that, i feel like it's almost a little bit harder to predict things these days. Also, though, i feel like a lot of things, we do end up seeing so it's like easier and harder to predict things right now, but with that being said, i'm breaking this down into different categories throughout the video. So i'll leave like some time stamps down below on the bar, where you can like click ahead. So i want to talk about general trends that i think we'll see. I want to talk about collaborations that i think we'll see. I want to talk about celebrity brands that i'm predicting and makeup themes in general that i think we're gon na see from brands, and then i have some brand specific launches like i think this brand's gon na come out with this. Let'S, let's hop into it. Okay, starting off with a general makeup trend that i think we're going to see - and i don't think everyone is going to be with me on this one, but i think we're going to move into matte skin, either in 2022 or even 2023 partially. Because of the trend cycle, when i think of early 2000s, it was definitely matte skin still from like 90s into early 2000s, definitely more matte skin, but the main reason i'm kind of predicting. This is because i've noticed it so much with celebrity makeup artists on a lot of big celebrities, so i took a bunch of screenshots, so we can kind of pop them up one celeb that comes to mind for having a very signature. Matte look right now is ariana grande her makeup artist is ash k, holm and she's done so many like simple makeup, looks on her recently that are like very flat, very matte, with a really structured, chiseled contour and i kind of think we'll see that approach pretty Soon, here we've seen it for a long time, even with the kardashians like love them or hate them. They they really influence trends not only in fashion but also in beauty and kylie, especially her makeup style is very, very matte. Now. I think part of the reason for that is because she's very photographed or she's photographed very frequently and matte makeup is a lot more flattering in photographs, but i also the third reason i think we're gon na see this. Actually, i also think we're gon na see it, because we typically see trends go from one extreme to the next, and we've had a really big like dewy boom for a while there, not only with like blingy highlights, but also recently, with all the skin tints, like Ultra dewy foundations, like really really glowy kind of balmy, finished skin. So now i think we're going to see the opposite. I think we're going to get a lot of matte looks and i think that's going to move past just base, but even into eyes like. I think we're going to see a lot of matte eyeshadow looks which leads me into my next kind of general makeup prediction: this is what i'm calling the everyday smokey eye and i tried to do kind of my own interpretation of it on my eyes today. You know it's a subtle look, but i went with the really smoked out gray wing and i feel like we're going to see this style of makeup become ultra popular. So i took a bunch of screenshots again from celebrity makeup artists doing this look either similar to what i'm wearing now, where it's mad and like a smoky wing, but i was also noticing it a lot with like brown shadow and just like a brown look. Maybe a little bit smokier like near the lash line and then fading as you go out and again going back to like early 2000s makeup. We definitely saw like that smokey eye technique, but i think the interpretation is going to be a little bit different in 2022 to something a little bit more every day, because 2021 was all about the like really simple, minimal makeup and i think that's going to carry Over into 2022, but i think it's going to be this, like beautiful marriage between somewhat of a smokey eye, but in a really approachable, everyday manner. This next one i've got two actually three in here that aren't makeup, but they're like hair and nails. So i thought i'd throw them in the first nail trend. I think that we're gon na see, i think french tips are gon na, have a comeback. Now, let me start off with saying: a french tip has always been a classic silhouette. I don't think it has. Ever like been untrendy to do, but again early 2000s girl. It was all about the french tips and i think the way we're going to see it now is in a very, very minimal way. I'M talking like, i don't, have any nails on right now, but short like this, like a really really short nail with a very thin little white tip and i'm picturing this on, like the it girls like haley bieber, with like a short nail, a little white tip Or even if you want to take it a little bit more dramatic, a longer nail, that's a colorful french tip like a sage, green, french tip or like a periwinkle blue french tip. I think that silhouette's gon na become popular. I think, like the squiggly nails that have been really big for a minute that i personally loved, i feel like that trend is probably not gon na be around too much longer, and i feel like we're going to see that subtly fade into more of a french Tip or nail designs that are at least inspired by french tips. The next one side parts are coming back. You heard it here. First, i'm predicting it. The center part has had its moment, but here's the thing center part doesn't work for everyone, i'm personally wearing one at the moment, but i have a cowlick, and so my hair doesn't always want to lay like this. So i think we're gon na see side parts become a little bit more popular again, similar to french tips, like i think, a center part and a side part they're, both classic hair um parting styles. Does that make sense? So i don't necessarily think that a side part was ever like out of style, but we definitely saw a big push to a middle part, but i think we're gon na see the side part again and i'm not talking a typical side. Part. I'M picturing more of like a glam undone like. Let me show you like this something like like, so where it's actually not like flat to your head. It just looks kind of messy a ton of volume up here, even something a little bit more glam and styled than this like i'm, i'm predicting side parts are going to come back, maybe maybe not 2022, but at least 2023 like they're. Coming because again say it with me, early 2000s or even like the teens like when i was in school. If you were a center part that was like blasphemy, like you, would i wouldn't dream of wearing a center part? When i was in middle school, it was side parts only, so i think that that time is probably coming back to us pretty soon. Also general trends, i think we're gon na see more brown hair. This is not just my own prediction. I'Ve been seeing this predicted a lot. I was reading an article on glamour where they talked about what they call the expensive brunette, which is a very weird description for it. But a lot of celebrities that have been known for having blonde hair are dyeing their hair brown again same thing as like french tips and side parts. I don't think blonde hair will ever be out of style, but i think we're gon na notice a lot more people wearing their hair brown and i'm especially picturing, like kind of like warmer browns and then one last general trend before we hop over. To my other. Many categories - i am really hoping we will continue to see less editing and photoshopping in campaigns, and i did a full video about this earlier this year that i can leave link down below, but this is becoming more common, even at retailers, so brands that sell at Cvs cvs has a commitment to unretouched photos in their stores and i think we're going to start seeing that more, even at like the bare minimum, just like little watermarks on the bottom saying this image has been retouched or this has not been retouched. Okay. Moving on to the collabs that i think we're gon na see this year, this is the one that i'm so excited to talk about. Do i think this will happen? I don't know this is more so like i want this to happen and colourpop. If you're watching this, you can steal this idea from me. You can have it. Not only can you but like please like take this, i'm kidding they're not watching this, but here's. Here'S where my brain is at right now think about the nba collection they did this year. I was kind of taken back by it. I was like whoa, that's that's not what i was expecting from them, but in my head i thought. Okay, what's another like really big franchise like that that i could see being a full large collection and i think part of the reason this came to mind - is that i moved to new york this year. But i want to see colourpop do a broadway collection with a lot of like really iconic long running, broadway shows and a little quad or even nine pan for a lot of shows. Obviously they can't do everyone, because there are so many some of them. You know stop running, we get new ones, they leave, they come back, but some of the like really iconic broadway shows into palettes. So i wrote down a hamilton palette that would be like the gold themed palette, a wicked theme palette. Obviously, it's going to be a green palette. Um phantom of the opera palette, i'm picturing, something similar to like the smoke show palette that they did where it's kind of like gray and silver. I also said, maybe even a chicago palette. That'S again when a really long running show, maybe even like jersey, boys, but also i put on here. I want them to also do a funny girl palette, because funny girl is returning to broadway in 2022, and i'm excited about that. So i think that could be such a cool collaboration. I just feel like that would be a match made in heaven. It would be so cute. Let me know what you guys think. I also wanted to pick out a collaboration for makeup revolution because they always do a lot of collabs. Last year i predicted they would do an office collab, which we have not seen yet, but i'm still holding out. But i was kind of inspired by the new hip dot rugrats collab and i started thinking what are some other older nickelodeon cartoons that i could see with a collaboration. So i picked out two possible options that i could definitely see with makeup revolution and i picked out hey arnold, which actually i could see that i'm also doing rugrats. If progress wanted to do a few more collabs, i could totally see a makeup revolution. Rugrats collab, but i said maybe hey arnold, hey, arnold or fairly odd parents. I think i could. I could see both of those with makeup revolution. I think they would both be very cute, especially fairly odd parents like the packaging. You could do the pink and the green like cosmo and wanda. Like the possibilities there are endless, oh and back to colour-pop, i picked out two more collabs. I think we could see this year. They always do a ton with disney. They have a really strong relationship there. So disney is coming out with a buzz lightyear movie this year called light year. So i think a toy story collection would be so cute. Now the buzz lightyear movie is it's supposed to be like very different from the original toy story cartoons, but i think that would be adorable toy story is a huge franchise. There'S four movies people love it like that could be so cute like the packaging, the colors. It could be so bright, so colorful like that would be adorable, but colourpop does a hocus pocus collab, while they have for the last two years, and this year hocus pocus is coming out with hocus pocus 2. So we'll definitely see a third round of colour pop collaborating with hocus pocus, i'm very confident, okay, celebrity and influencer brands. I do not think they're going away anytime soon. I think we will continue to see more especially celebrity brands and britney spears love brittany with my entire heart. Free britney, she's free now very excited about that, and if you follow her on instagram for months now, she has been posting like photos of lips and lipstick and she keeps tagging vlada in them. So i don't know if, like they're gon na be doing something together, but based on, like there have been quite a few posts, i'm like does this mean something. Please tell me that this means like britney beauty or whatever it would be uh. There were two other brands that i thought you know i could totally see coming out with makeup and i wrote down katy perry, especially because she was like the spokesperson for covergirl for a long time there, but also beyonce, like beyonce beauty. I would buy that, but even if those three don't, i guarantee you at least like five other celebrities will come out the makeup line this year or next year, general trend themes and then i'm gon na hop over to like specific products. I think we're gon na see from actual brands but general themes. I think we're gon na see medium coverage foundations. Here'S why i think that we had a huge full coverage foundation boom in like 2016 2017 this year and last year we saw the lighter coverage and i still think, like the first half of 2022, we're gon na see brands still coming out with skin tints brands That, like didn't, get them out earlier this year. I don't think skin tints and light coverage. Foundations are done yet, but i feel like we're. Gon na be moving into more of a medium coverage foundation, kind of like the new charlotte tilbury foundation that they just announced. I feel like that's going to be the new direction kind of a sweet spot, not full, not light, just a lot of medium coverage, foundations with a natural finish, not too dewy, not too matte, but i do think the skin tint moment is almost done, not that I think they'll still be popular, but i feel like a lot of brands, have come out with a skin tint at this point like there are very few that don't have at least a skin tint or a tinted moisturizer or something light coverage like that. The one brand that i'm waiting on that i do think we're gon na see a skin tint from in 2022 is anastasia, beverly hills. They have their one foundation in like the glass bottle, they have their one foundation, they have their stick foundation, but i could see them doing something. Light coverage like a skin tint, which it makes me sad that they haven't yet because they used to be like starting. The trends and now i feel like they're on, like the tail end of the trends catching up: okay, brown, mascaras and brown liquid liners like no longer like super intense black like eyeliner and um mascara, i mean don't get me wrong. I think that will always be a staple brands will always have black mascara. I think that will be the main color most brands sell, but i think we'll start to see more brown mascaras. I'Ve noticed this being a bit of a trend. Now that we've seen the softer makeup look, but especially if you have like lighter eyebrows, your eyelashes are naturally blonde. You might prefer a brown over black, so i think we'll see more of those i think we'll keep seeing some new bronzers. I would love to see a bronzer launch from urban decay this year. All they have is like their beach bronzer, so i would love to see a bronzer launch from them, but i really think we're gon na see more cream bronzers in a pan, not in a stick in a pan. So we saw that this year from like elf and say and vanessa myricks. I have this one i'm wearing today from tarte, which i think this one might have come out the year before, but we're starting to see that a lot this year and i think more brands will do that like not like a cream bronzer, but not in a Stick something like this that you can pick up tap on color pop: did they come out with theirs this year or last year, but where i'm going with this is it's becoming more popular now and i think that's going to spill over into 2022 and the brand? I want to see that from is milani. Their powder. Bronzer is my favorite, so if they did a cream bronzer in a pan, i would be so excited. I love how i said this section was not going to be brand specific and i'm like wait. I want to see this brand do that and this brand do that, but the next one that i said, i think we're going to see more products that serve a multitude of purposes. So i'm thinking of my beloved bare minerals, bronzer, which was marketed as being a blush and a bronzer, even though it's not really, but i think we're gon na see more products like that that are supposed to be like multi-use two in one, something that you can Use all over your face, i think we're gon na see single eye. Shadows have a bit of a moment, maybe in individual pants or maybe like just the magnetic pants - that we saw really popular in like the 2010 era and then for a general packaging trend. I wrote down that we will start seeing more of what i'm describing as minimal colorful. So i took a bunch of screenshots to kind of share a vision, my my vision on the screen of what i think we'll see kind of a visual. I'M really kind of inspired by like kosis. They do this a lot where their products are. The packaging is very minimal, but they put it in like pink packaging or yellow or blue, and we're noticing that more from a lot of brands at sephora and don't get me wrong. I think we'll still continue to have like luxe packaging, with brands like um, charlotte tilbury or like luxury and high-end brands, like i don't think, that's going away, but i think, with a lot of these newer brands, popping up we're gon na see this like colorful minimal, Aesthetic or even just in like makeup marketing, let's get into my predictions by brand. Let'S talk natasha denona. These are not my like personal predictions. These are the trademarks that i found when i looked it up. So the likelihood of seeing these in 2022 is extremely high. That being said, not every trademark comes to fruition, but there is a very high likelihood that you will see something with this name in just a few months, so they made quite a few trademarks this year on april 19th, the first one being for a pastel palette, Which i think we will of course see in the spring i'm thinking this will be a full-size palette, one of the 129 dollar palettes, which is a bummer, because i want to see it in a midi palette, but i'm picturing it being a limited edition. Launch kind of like the circle loco that came out this year and that one was full size. So that's what i see for that one, but these next few trademarks are very clearly a valentine's day, collection which she normally does. So we're going to be hopefully getting the cupid, the cupid cheek duo and the mini crush. So i'm assuming the cupid will be a midi. The mini will be a mini and then we'll have the cheek duo. I'M thinking the cheek duo will be kind of more mid-sized. I don't think it'll be the mini cheek duos like they've done before. Otherwise i think they would have named it mini cheek duo in the trademark. Oh and they also trademarked. I need a rose which i think will be a lipstick, so i'll be interested to see that valentine's day collection from them uh. They also trademarked pretty recently retro glam. So i'm not sure what that would be because they have a glam palette and a retro palette. I don't know if that would be a mashup in a like a palette format, or it would be a product for the face or for something else. I'M not sure what that would be. Maybe like a highlighter contour duo, i'm thinking like the charlotte tobery. I can't think of the name i'll put the photo on the screen. You guys know what i'm talking about, but they trademarked that on october 7th so that one will probably not be here until like fall like at least like q3 or four okay for cosis. I wanted to put them in because i've been loving that brand. Recently i've mentioned a lot of their products in favorites. I just picked up some more products from cosis that you will see in my black friday haul coming very soon, and i think they're going to do something with eye shadows. They don't have eye shadows right now, aside from liquid shadows, i don't know if i see a palette from them. If i do it's like a trio, a duo, a quad like it's, not big, if that, but what i want to see from them is like a multi-stick. Do you guys remember the bite multi-sticks that they don't make anymore? My friend was asking me the other day. She'S, like i used to love the multi-sticks they discontinued, those like what do you recommend that i can get the same effect with that's not going to crease, and i i don't. I did not have a recommendation for her. If you guys do, let me know, but i could see kosis doing something like that, like a stick, that you can use a shadow but also use on the face. Okay, the dyson air wrap has obviously been huge for a while. I feel like i've been seeing it everywhere recently and maybe that's just because people are like searching it out because of because it's on their christmas list or something i don't know, but that has obviously been a very successful launch for them. I have the air up. I love the air wrap and i think that they will come out with more attachments for it this year. So there are already a ton of attachments. They'Ve got the longer barrels. They'Ve got the shorter barrels. They'Ve got the different size, barrels they've got brush heads, but i think they're going to come out with more. I don't know what i don't know what, but i could see them doing more. I i would love to see something where i could kind of do. More of like a wave in my hair, i don't know how they would make that. But i feel like they're, going to kind of lean into the success of the air wrap and then continue to make products that airwrap users can buy to use with their airwrap urban decay. So obviously we'll see a naked palette from them in 2022. They do a naked palette every single year and again because i'm curious, i tried to look into the trademarks and it's so hard to say because they have very recently trademarked so many things with the word naked in it. So it's hard to know which ones would be a palette because they put the name naked on everything like the foundation, the concealer, the powder, everything, but i did notice they trademarked naked, foxy, naked sand and naked half baked. But the way that these were trademarked. It wasn't worded urban decay naked, half-baked. It was worded naked urban decay half-baked, so, which makes me think it's not going to be a palette makes me think it's going to be singles, because these are already eyeshadow colors, that they have or that it's going to be highlights. I don't know they also trademarked naked playback on july 14th and naked fireball on november 15th. So i wonder if this will be another two naked palette year and we'll get a naked playback in the beginning of the year and fireball. At the end, i don't know, but the playback, if that was gon na, be a palette, i'm picturing, something like inspired by like records or like pop music, i'm picturing like purples and blues and bright tones, or even like playback thinking like a rewind with like the Beginning of urban decay when their main signature color was purple, so maybe leaning into that. I don't know, though they did the ultraviolet palette already. So i'm not sure what that would look like as a naked palette but naked fireball. If that is going to be a palette, i'm going to assume it's going to be like red and orange themed. Those were a few of my predictions for 2022, i'm so curious to see if any of these come true or what makeup launches are gon na look like in the new year, and i am so curious to go, watch angelica's video. So if you guys have not seen hers yet i will leave it linked down below again be sure to subscribe, and i will see you guys again tomorrow for the next day of vlogmas, bye,

Angelica Nyqvist: Oh I love that we collabed and still did not do the same thing haha. This pretty much sums up how my December is going so far Still cannot wait to hear this cuz GURL, you were so SPOT ON last year, woho! :D (and thank you for collabing with me gorg!)

Cw: I think your predictions are very well thought through. My predictions: 1. More brands are coming with spf or add spf in their make-up or skincareproducts 2. Sex and the city collab. Such an iconic series and they're doing a relaunche soon. 3. Make-up brands focusing on ether k-pop or k-beauty. Before it was mainly focused on skincare. I think make up is following.

CrunchyMomma: A ColourPop and Broadway collab….I’d die! I was so thankful for the HipDot Hanukkah collection. While not really anything I would wear, I purchased it as a gift to support a company who finally showcased a holiday other than Xmas. They’re only mistake was that it was released after the 1st night; last night was the 8th night and it still hadn’t arrived. Thank you for making this Gen X’er not feel so old in loving clean/cruelty free makeup.

meepmoopmeep1: As someone with oily skin, I am excited about the prediction that we are moving toward matte skin! (Although it is very easy for me to achieve the glowy look ) I think after the skin tint boom, people are going to be really used to lightweight and low coverage products. I’m hoping then that we get more foundations that are super lightweight and thin, but still have a more matte finish. I feel like there are not many products on the market like that. The Dior face and body and Fenty eaze drop are some of the only ones that come to mind.

Casey Wilson: Hopefully the ND Retro Glam palette will be the Retro palette we were all hoping for—more cool toned with those grungy, earthy greens and blushing pinks!

AprilBlossoms: My vote for a broadway show collab would be Moulin Rouge. That was the last broadway show I caught way back in 2019. Brings back good memories ❤️

Dani C: Idk about collabs with Broadway shows but if someone did that it would make sense because a lot of shows have struggled to get back to where they were in 2019 and early 2020 regarding revenue and licensing would help with breaking even. I would be down for a Wicked and Phantom of the Opera collections ❤️

Nicole Hugs: I would love to see an As Told by Ginger palette.. I loved that show lol

Carmo Albuquerque: Brown mascara and eyeliner is the only thing I use and it's so hard to find at reasonable price points! I wish your prediction can come true. My deepest makeup wish is that essence comes out with a brown lash princess (the green/blue one)

BehindTheVanity: I love your prediction videos!!! I’m still hoping for the UD Naked Moss or a green inspired palette from them Very interesting predictions and I really trust that a lot of these we will see!! Like you said, trends tend to go back and forth between extremes and we know what was once old becomes new again

Jessica Schmidt: I think Natasha Denona answered in a comment once that she is going to do another Midi Retro that is going to lean more into the green side of her Mini Retro palette. Maybe this could be the Retro Glam palette? I am really excited to see which of your predictions will come true in 2022 ☺️

Kaitlyn W: Millennials never giving up the side part

Lindsay D.: Omg I love the idea of a Colourpop and Broadway collab!!!

sarah jane: Kelly, how do you access the trademarks by brands? I think you’re spot on for brown mascara and matte skin. Tati once said matte skin was more flattering on a broader range of skin concerns than dewy skin, and I agree. this was such an interesting video!!

meepmoopmeep1: Natasha Denona made a video when the retro midi palette was released and she said that this was not the end for the “retro” line and that people who were missing the greens may have something to look forward to

diana dang: I would LOVE to buy a broadway collab palette! I’m so excited to see which of these predictions come true. You were so on target with a lot of these from last year!

Jennifer Schmidt-McCormack: I love these trend prediction videos-I love how you included hair and nails

Alison H: I am hoping and praying for Urban Decay to do a Naked Smokey mini after their success with the mini 3 I can’t wait for the Natasha Denona releases! I also still hope for an Office collaboration!

Deann Fritz: It would be so exciting to see a more green pallet from ND!

CL Carrer: These predictions sound so much fun! I can't wait to see what comes true.

Desi Nicole: Also, I wish someone would do a Buffy collab around Halloween! It would be soooooo good

GlamBySam: Love your prediction videos! I would love to try more matte eyelooks, I normally always apply a shimmer but more matte would be a fun trend

Tina's Health & Beauty World: I love watching your predictions! I believe this would be the year of neutrals and it really was! I haven’t been more into neutrals before this year and bought my first ever neutral palettes

betty maines: More celebrity brands? OMG. Just what we need. Brown eye liner - I surely hope so. Black eyeliner just does not work for everyone.

Stacy S.: Your predictions are so thoughtful and make sense. I'm confident many will come true!

Karla Rivera: I love matte eyeshadow looks, they look so elegant but easy going while I personally always feel childish with shimmers. I would be so happy with all matte eyeshadow palettes

Talya: Love these videos and seeing what comes true (and what doesn’t). The only thing, for me, is that I don’t like to follow trends because I’d rather use what works for my skin/wear what works for my body type. I guess I’ll never understand why we let celebrities “decide” what’s trendy on not. ‍♀️ Nonetheless, can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!

Being Biogirl: i’m seriously hoping that angie’s and your predictions come true this year. you were reallllly great with your predictions for this past year. ♥️♥️♥️

divamaglia: Tilly meowbomb at 17:00! Love that you two are collab-ing. The Broadway palette idea is fun!

olivia: excited for medium coverage foundations! i usually like a natural look but still want to cover up redness

Ah Ah: I didn’t get to enjoy the dewy trend properly since it was going on during the pandemic and I didn’t do much makeup. So the great thing getting older is the trends don’t really matter to me so I’ll stick with dewy. I was doing the blush on the nose when it wasn’t cool, so I’ll still do it when it’s back to being uncool haha. The matte sculpted look will not look great on my aging skin as I’m older so I’ll still embrace my glowy skin lol

Cla B: I loved your predictions video❤️ I am really digging the everyday smoky eye and sure am gonna try it for myself! Thanks for such an interesting video

Jacqueline Albin: I love your makeup detective work! Always fun when you do videos diving into the trademarks that brands are filing!

Janee Lytch: I just love seeing my favorite youtubers collab together so much fun. Yes i see more celebrities coming out in makeup and skincare.

Zita Puskás: I am 2 minutes into the video but I have to say I love you both! :) And I am really glad you did this collab with Angelica, I am really curious about her oppinion too. Yesterday I have tried to think through what I would say the main trends will be in 2022. It was a fun game! Thank you for the idea!

Dani C: I think Colourpop will do more collabs with Cartoon Network properties since Nickelodeon is considered Disney’s rival. I hope they do a Totally Spies collab! Colors would be green, red and yellow

Corey Stepp: I would love a phantom of the Opera palette

SabrinaChic: I definitely see a Wicked themed palette in the future, especially now that a version with Ariana Grande will be made soon.

Miriam Del Campo: I heard the collective scream from all the theatre kids when you said "Broadway collab" honestly though, very unique idea and I would love to see original color stories created for each show

Jamie Crucefix: I remember Doodlesbybunny made moc ups of Toystory palettes really hope Colourpop makes that collab one day.

Ashlee Quantic: Love the idea of Broadway themed pallets! That would be amazing! ❤️ Also I want The Office themed collaboration!

Abigail Hipps: I love your prediction videos! Thanks for vlogmas, I've been looking forward to it every morning!

Tara Jones: I am going to look so good with my mat finish and every day smoky! That’s my go to look no matter what the current trend is. Lol I’m here for it!

Christian Lanman: Your predictions from last year were on point. Looking forward to seeing what comes to pass in the new year

Mackenzie Bell: I was thinking the same thing for the voluminous side part in the hair and the possibility of a Britney makeup line!! Great video

Ana OS: Can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for us

CreatingwithKarthi: I wish makeup revolution did more With the friends collection. I would love a fairy odd parents collection. If only UD could bring back their book of shadows :(

MSUSPARTANS 1995: Oh Good God, Colourpop could for sure do a collab with every show. They launch something every other day.

Debbie: I would love to see a Broadway/ ColourPop collaboration. Could they maybe think of Hadestown? I would definitely buy that. And a Fairly Odd Parents collection with Makeup revolution would be adorable. Also thrilled with the side part coming back. A middle part does nothing for me, personally. So the side part and maybe a Cinnamon Brown hair color, which is close to my natural color would be great.

Lindsey: I am SO pumped after looking at the ND trademarks! I saw several names that peaked my interest.

Whitney Alger: These videos are so fun! Hoping all your predictions come true, because I want to buy them!

Lifeisajurni 55: I LOVE the Broadway idea!! I have a Hamilton palette from an indie brand and it’s a super cute 5 pan. It’s from the brand pretties for your face

Rei Life: I hope something like the Multi sticks comes back, I mean I know there are plenty of products in that format but the formula of those was particularly good. Now I want to try that minimal Smokey eye lol

Bekky Holmes: OK. You and Angelica have inspired me to make my own predictions! (I have no platform, I’m just a makeup enthusiast, though I made a couple TikToks so I could refer back in a year.) I also predicted matte skin is coming back. I have never stopped wearing a side part (I’m old!), but along the lines of what you were showing, I predict that hot rollers are going to have a resurgence and we’ll see that voluminous Texas Barbie hair. You specifically inspired me to make some very specific predictions, so first, I think we’ll see either a Strawberry Shortcake or Rainbow Brite palette from someone. Also, I’m calling it now…Colourpop will do the Grinch next Christmas. Finally, yes please, can we please have a musical collection. And can it be a huge collection!!!!!!

Sarah R: I think along with matte skin the tumblr-2013-soft-grunge makeup will come back. Thick winged liner and a bold lip because of the nostalgia and hopefully fewer masks.

musique nonstop: also in k-beauty, they moved away from glass skin and dewy for more of a matte look.

Beth: I hope you're right about side parts coming back; I've been wearing a side part since I was in elementary school bc I have never looked good with a middle part (an exception being early-mid 2020 when I badly cut my bangs and since my forehead was covered I was better able to pull it off lmao)

Lavannya Pulluveetil: I totally see a multi stick coming from kosas. Current ones that have really good reviews are the Live TInted Huestick and the Mango People Multi stick. Would be cool to see comparisons

B Mackenzie: I’m totally here for early 2000s styles coming back! That’s when I graduated high school, I just don’t want the really low cut jeans coming back

Crystal Ortega: A Broadway collab would be amazing!!! I would love that ❤️ I love Funny Girl, Rent, Wicked and so many others

Kate Flower: And here I am still waiting for Colourpop x Pokemon to happen ⚡⚡⚡ I loved your predictions, Kelly! And I am dying to hear what Angie in going to say!

Shelley Nielsen: As a nail technician I can already tell you yes. French tips are making a comeback.

Schokiman: I could also see that Retro Glam by ND will be another (hopefully) mid-sized palette. Many people were a little disappointed that the Retro colourstory was more mauve-y and not those soft green tones with mandarine but cool/neutral-toned. She stated, that we haven't seen the last of Retro yet and that she'll possibly bring out a palette with that colourstory in mid-size. At least I'm hoping so because this could potentially be my first ND purchase

Christina Abadir: I’m with you!!! I want Milani to come out with a cream bronzer!

Emily Petzel: I want Britney to come out with a lip collection! I don't think she will though. I think it's a lot like this one European creator she reshares every now and then (the one with the flowers and freckles). She loves the artwork but that's it.

Alexandra Elizabeth: These videos are so fun! I love that you do this I don’t know any other beauty you tubers that do anything similar, really cool

Gorgeous Express: Very very thoughtful predictions. I’ll be sure to watch out for the brands and trends you’ve listed

Ah Ah: I’d like an Anastasia collab with Colourpop. I love that movie and since Fox is owned by Disney, I’d love her to get a palette inspired by her dresses or the settings like her in Paris!

37chrystals: I would like tower 28 to do a matte version of their cream bronzers and a potted cream bronzer from Melt as well as LYS beauty because I love both of their potted cream blushes!

Courtney Cullen: If Coloupop ever did broadway, I would just buy the whole thing and ask questions later. ESPECIALLY Funny Girl. But really anything. Do an ALW series, a modern series, a golden age series. Just take all my money Colourpop.

Jilly Mac: Also! I just got my Blonzer in Kiss of Pink and Kiss of Copper. I can’t believe I waited this long to buy them! I love them! (Looks like it’s no longer on Macy’s website tho!)

Emily Lerman: I wonder if we'll get more cream to powder products or watery/gel products that really dry down, since cream products have been very popular lately. like a marriage between a more matte look and the ease of cream products.

Angela Marie: I don't do my nails but for years I've thought that a French tip where the bottom of the white (closest to the nail bed) is a squiggly line would look super cute and interesting. Especially if the tip was a color other than white and maybe even if the nail bed color wasn't a nude. And it's cartoon network instead of nickelodeon but "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" would be SUCH an awesome collab! Bright colors and fanciful characters, what more do you need?

tinnuriel: Yeah an amazing collab I love your videos and Angie‘s as well. I am also curious about this Cupid aka new love palette from Natasha Denona and of course the new Retro version

Jaden Rieke: I think retro glam could be a large palette as a mashup since they did the middie ones for each individual

PennyPie: Broadway by Colourpop! Such a good idea. I would love it if they did Cabaret.

Beth Gillette: I agree with so many of these! I really think 2022 will be the year of the makeup artist brand vs 2021 being the celebrity brand year. Katie Jane Hughes, Ash K. Holm, Donni Davy, Makeup By Ariel, etc. With the success of Makeup by Mario and Danessa Myricks, I think a lot of classic celebrity makeup artists will come out with their own lines. (I also think we could see this with dermatologists and skincare, particularly medspa-type brands but being sold in Sephora).

Bonnie Ramirez: I have to say that you are a million times more beautiful then all the pictures of the fake celebrities in those pictures. ♥️

Amanda Speaks: i’d be interested to see how the vday collections will be different than love pallets for ND!

Nora Smith: Got here through Angelica. Subscribed now. Thank you for the predictions. Can't wait to see what comes true

vivian nguyen: Fireball is also a eyeshadow shade from UD. Such a fun video! Brown mascara sounds like something I can get on.

Katherine Murphy Sanchez: Psychic Kelly strikes again!! I love hearing your predictions.

Gabrielle Strandquist: Damn Angie was right that you have some verrrry specific predictions super fun!

lucia: Love the idea of Broadway palettes!!

MeowgicalArtisticat: Oooooh, I'd be excited for more brown Mascaras! And blue would be nice, too. Like dark blue. A Natasha Denona Pastel? Oooh... but I wish it was a midi

Toria: Was that a Tilly meow at 17 minutes? . M really hoping to see your brown mascara/matte skin predictions come true! A Broadway collection is also a brilliant concept! x

Emily Makes Coffee: I’m predicting a Disney Afternoon collab. I’ve seen a lot of Disney Afternoon stuff coming out lately from Loungefly and they are doing a reboot of Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers in 2022.

Lindy: A similar product to the bite multi sticks are pretty much anything from nudestix line! I love their all over face color sticks and the matte eye color sticks. I believe they have blushy colors too.

Felicity Nicole: You’re hair looks gorgeous! Loving the colour ☺️

metropolitan kreyole: My oily skin can't wait to have the trend go back to matte !

Daniela Sarmiento: If colourpop does either wicked, beetlejuice or cats, I'm buying the full collection no questions asked. Fireball was also a big single shadow, so maybe UD will do a throwback collection, bringing back big things that were discontinued at some point in their reformulations. I want them to bring back more colorful lipsticks, and I think that if masks decrease in use, bold lipsticks and odd colored lipsticks will come as a microtrend

Brigitte's Diary Desormeaux: We need to see Colourpop and Star Trek Collab. So many could be done. Going back to the original, the next gen, DS9 ETC. that would be brilliant

Julie me: I feel like my makeup and clothing style always stay similar but every now and then I happen to be on trend and the things I like are a LOT easier to find. I never did the middle parting hair thing though. It's just not me great look for someone with an unusual nose

Katie Silveous: I didn’t get into my 30’s to care about trends. Trends definitely don’t work on every body shape, etc which is why we all look back and realize how silly we looked. BUT, I do have fun trying new things. I’m not giving up the things that work best for me, like dewy foundation/skin tints for my dry, dull skin

Mackenzie Steele: I think colourpop should do a collegiate collab. I could totally see that being really popular. Like 9 pans for different universities. They could do it during football season in the fall.

justanother claud: Oh my God YES to Broadway palettes. I would buy the Hamilton one & a CATS! one. Maybe Rent ??!! Moulin Rouge??? Waitress?

Shanrell’s Stash: A phantom of the opera collection that would be amazing

justanother claud: Oh and the colorful long French tip nail is LITERALLY what I'm wearing right now!

A Little Night Makeup: OMG if Colour Pop did a Broadway themed collection I WOULD DIE. Take ALL my money!

Amanda Jolly: Honestly, would kill for the CPxBroadway collab. hahaha. Put that out in the univeeeerse!
