Um, so hey y'all, so i'm in the shower now and i am washing my hair. So after braids my hair feels extremely dry. It takes forever to get wet, so i am going to do a strengthening treatment. I do this before shampooing. This is the olaplex number. Three - and this was my first time actually using it and my hair felt extremely soft - the tangles somewhat melted away, my hair was soft shiny. It was amazing, honestly, like look at my hair anyways, i'm going to leave this on for 10 minutes and then i'm going to rinse it off next up is shampooing. This is the maui moisture, volcanic ash shampoo, and i like to do this two times just because my hair has been in braids for a while now probably about a month. So it's definitely important for me to have a clean, scalp and clean hair. So i'm gon na repeat this step again and then i'm moving on to the maui moisture, volcanic ash conditioner and i like to put a whole leap of this in my hair, and this is just going to soften up my hair moisturize it and do all that Good stuff - and during this step i do like to detangle my hair was very matted. I tried to comb it out while i was taking out my braids, but of course they're still knots and girl. My arms were on fire, it took forever, so i definitely had to do this in sections but girl. When i was done, my hair felt so good. So amazing - and i was definitely happy - and this is all the shedded hair that came out after this wash day, and this is not including what came out while i was taking out my braids, hey guys. What is up so i just got out of the shower. I put my hair into this little bun, so it could soak up as much. You know water as possible. I don't want my hair to lose like the water and the moisture retention that it has right now, so just left it in this bun, but i'm about to do something different with my hair. I have just been super bored with my hair lately and i want to try something new. I want to put some like color in it. Of course, i'm not going to be using any permanent or semi-permanent dye, i'm just going to be using the as i am curl color, which i'm super excited to try. I have a few colors here and thank you to as i am for sponsoring this portion of the video, so i do actually have three different temporary colors. So the first one is tiger orange, which is this nice, like fiery orange red, color, really pretty, and then the next one i have is the as i am curl color in copper, and this is a true copper color. I love it very, very pretty and then the last one i have is a really fun color. This is minty mermaid. So it's this nice sea, blue, very nice, bright, blue color. So can we guess which color i'm gon na be using today? Definitely the copper. This one just called my name, it's subtle, but it's also super bright at the same time and i've always just had a thing for copper hair. So we're going to try this today, so i'm not going to be doing the typical wash and go because my hair is just way too long for that now i'm going to be doing a braid out. So, of course, i want my hair to be nice and moisturized, so i'm going to be using it as i am double butter cream. I absolutely love this stuff. I use it a lot for my braid outs and twist outs very, very moisturizing. This is honestly a long time favorite of mine, so i'm gon na be applying some of this onto my hair just for moisture purposes, and this is also going to give me some nice definition. So, of course, i'm going to detangle my hair before applying any product and before braiding and before applying any of the temporary curl color. You want to apply some of the as i am restore and repair jamaican black, castor oil, water, and this is just going to make the application process of the hair color or the wax to be a lot easier and smoother. So you definitely want to make sure that your hair is like pretty wet pretty damp and it smells so good. Oh, this smells so good, so this jbco water is great for dry hair. It has vitamin c vitamin e and, of course, jamaican black, castor oil to boost and lock in moisture, and also it does have some strengthening properties. Okay, so onto the foam part, we are applying the copper temporary hair color, by as i am which i'm excited about. This is my first time trying this so we're gon na see where it goes. Obviously it would be smart to wear some gloves, but i don't have any gloves so it's gon na be a little bit messy, but i highly suggest if you do use this, you wear some gloves. So this is what the color looks like super, vibrant and beautiful. True, copper toned color. Let'S go so that blends right into my hair, nice and beautiful. It gives it like a nice natural finish, but i want this to pop, so i'm gon na go a lot heavier! Oh, this is looking really nice now, okay, so this looks pretty good right now the color is giving like. I can totally see myself with this kind of hair color. So obviously i can leave it like this. Let it dry, but i want to do braids. Okay, guys, so i am done applying the color and braiding my hair. You guys know this is my go-to style and my hair comes out bomb every single time. It'S the perfect, copper tone, it's kind of getting brown as well, so it's natural but fun and exciting. So definitely excited to see how this is going to turn out. As you can see, it literally matches the color that's in in the bottle, so love that for me. Obviously i have to wait till it dries. It is a little bit messy. I do have product on my shirt. It was on my chest, my hands and everything, but it came off very very easily and honestly, i don't mind a little mess. It was fun, it's like a new experiment, so pretty much. I just have to wait for this to dry. If i had like a hooded, dryer i'd probably sit under that, but i don't so. Like usual, it's gon na take two days for my hair to dry fully. So in the next two days i will be back and i will show you guys. The final result hey guys, so it is a few days later, like i told you guys it takes about two days for my hair to fully dry in this state. This is what my hair is looking like and, as you can see, on the end, the temporary curl color really um absorbed into my hair on the top, it's a little bit more vibrant, but i'm excited to see how this is going to look. So, of course we are going to take down the braids, so as i'm unraveling, there is no flaking going on. So that's definitely a good sign wow! Oh my gosh, it looks so freaking good wow. I look at my hands. Transfer free right now. That'S so crazy, but this is definitely a look and my hair does not feel dry or crunchy, unlike some of the other hair paint waxes that are out there. So that's definitely a plus. For me, my hair feels honestly really really soft, so, okay guys. So i am back, i just fluffed out my hair, so i can get some more volume. I'M not gon na play with it too much because there are still some damp areas which i don't want to get super frizzy. So i'm gon na leave it like this, but my hair looks so good. I absolutely love this color. I feel like it goes well with my skin tone. This color is giving for me is giving gingerbread mommy is giving chocolate baby. It'S giving all the feels. The results speak for itself. I will definitely be doing this again, probably in the same color i used about half of the jar, so i will have to purchase another one. This will probably last me one more round but baby. Oh, my gosh, of course i have to hook you guys up. Shaneice Crystal: UPDATE : color will transfer when wet so sit under a dryer or if you air dry make sure you wrap your hair up real good. Even if you decide to add oils after it dries! I did experience some transfer after the take down because parts of my hair were still damp but once it dried FULLY it did not transfer. My scarf fell off the past 2 nights and I have white white sheets and there is nothing on my satin pillow cases. Lastly, it’s been 4 days since the take down and the color is still vibrant.
