Hair Paint Wax On Natural Hair In Pantone Color Of The Year 2022- Very Peri!

Hey everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is maya and for today's video i have something very cool, very different outside of the box for me, because i don't really like doing coloring stuff, but i've been experimenting with color waxes and today we're doing something very fun. So each year pantone announces the color of the year. For this year it was silver. They just announced the color of the year for 2022., it's gon na be periwinkle blue. So i thought it would be a cool idea to dye or put paint wax on my hair to make it periwinkle blue for the new color of the year. So let me show you what i have so we can get into it. I got these two colors, but as i am, i got the cool blue and rose gold. I'M thinking this is going to make the periwinkle color. I wish i had like a white or something that would make it even better, but we'll see what we can do with this and let's go ahead and start now. This does say you could do it on damp or dry hair. My hair is kind of like an older wash and go maybe three days old, now and um. I think i'm gon na wet it just a little bit and then we'll apply this on it. It does say that you have to have on gloves, so i do have some gloves and i see why, because i tested it last night and yeah, it does stain, but it comes off, but let's go ahead and get started. I'M very excited to see how this will turn out. So let's go ahead and jump in all right guys, so the tools you'll need gloves. Let'S go ahead and put our gloves on oh and i do need. I do need some clips too. I just have one clip right now, so what we'll do i will split? We'Ll do the back section. First, i got a new mister, so i'm excited to use this. I like this one better because you can see the water level, the other one i couldn't see, but this one you definitely see so excited about this. Let'S go ahead and put on our gloves and i'm also going to open my jars. Let'S see if we can get the perfect periwinkle color, so let's open up the blue and then we'll open up the pink or it's called rose gold. One thing about this wax paint: it smells really good. I don't know if i want to do this like highlights, or if i want to just put it all over my hair, we'll see once i start. Oh my this is way more powerful in the back other one. Okay, we don't want to make it too wet. So we just want to make it kind of damp, i'm going to test it on damp, hair first and then um. If i see that it needs to just be done on dry hair i'll just do it on dry hair. So i just kind of wet my hair a little bit and let's go ahead and put the color on so i'm going to take a little bit of the blue first and then some of the pink and let's see if i can get a good periwinkle color. Okay, this might be more. I think i might need more pink. Let'S see all right, let's see how this goes. Oh, it's really coming off on the camera. One thing i can say about this color gel: it has lots of hold okay. Hopefully that's enough back there. I probably can do a little bit more, but it looks like it's coming off, really good on the camera. So maybe it's fine! So let's go ahead and go to the next section so again we're gon na spray it with water just a little bit. I need to go ahead and clip this back. That way, it's not getting in my face um if i have any blue or periwinkle on my face. You know where it's from um, but this is how it looks it gives you lots of hold lots of definition. So i'm gon na allow my hair to dry and then i'll be back with the final results so far so good. I can't wait to see how this looks dry so i'll be right back all right guys. So this is the final look. I am actually really digging this. This looks really really pretty it's so shiny. My hair is super defined and it's elongated too. So i am loving this like wow. I can't believe i was able to get like the perfect periwinkle shade from those two colors. Let me kind of turn to the back, so you can see it and the best part is, i don't have a lot of transfer. My hair is completely dry. Let me get a close-up, so you guys can see it from close yeah. So i just want to do a fun video me just playing around with these new colors that i got from as i am just as a refresher. I use the color rose, gold and cool blue to get this shade. I mixed them, and then i got this very peri color, which is what pantone is calling periwinkle for next year um. So i just saw that that was going to be the new color and i was like hey it'll, be a good idea to dye my hair that color um just for you know something temporary, but i am loving it. It looks really really pretty. I highly suggest these colors from as i am these. I have tried the ones by curlspan and they don't compare to how well these are so save yourself the coins and get the as i am colors because number one they look much more natural on your hair and number two it it doesn't make your hair, like Sticky or anything like that, so i'm really enjoying these colors. By, as i am they're only like eight dollars, you can get it from sally beauty or you can get them online on the website. Um! So love these. I highly recommend these gel paint, colors from as i am. I also have this stuff in copper, so not copper, but gold, so i'll be doing a gold wing sometime soon too, but, oh, my goodness, y'all i am loving it. I can't believe periwinkle hair looks good on me, but anyways guys. I hope you enjoyed this. This is just a fun video that i wanted to do. Um since next year they'll be promoting periwinkle.
