Hey guys, it's melissa Marie from sevenson salon here. So in my last video I told you guys that we're gon na do a complete hair transformation on our friend Tara. This is Tara when I first met Tara, her hair was very damaged and the people that were cutting her we're doing it on, even and all that, so we ended up fixing it, but today we're actually gon na do a complete makeover on her hair color and Everything so Tara. What do you not like about your hair, the most um, probably that it's then that I've always had a difficulty not having it stick to my head. That is a huge problem. Um, and do you like the length is the length fifty cently. I love the length I do love the texture of my hair. How soft it is. I could get it to feather really nice and I enjoy them. Okay, and how do you feel about the color right now? It'S fine but looking to do something different, I'm thinking and basically a funky ombre. Okay, I think cooler tones are gon na work best for your skin tone, just because you are so fair and you're on your toes. I think that if we do anything too warm it's gon na make you look washed out, so I think that we should stick it to some type of cool color. Maybe we'll do like a silver on the bottom and then like a nice transition into the roots. I'M pretty good. That sounds amazing cool. Alright, let's get started okay. So what we're gon na do? Is we parted her into four different sections? So we have two in the front and two in the back. Just your basic four subsections and what we're gon na do is we're gon na start from the bottom up and we're gon na put her entire head into foils. That'S gon na be the easiest way of explaining it. So what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na go across and I'm gon na take about a quarter of an inch section and I'm gon na put them all into foils and we're gon na start our way down going up the lightener that I'm using today. It'S blonde or - and I mixed it with 20 volume because she's already about a level seven eight and I only need to get her to a level ten, so we don't need to really lift her too high. We just have to lift her about two to three shades lighter, so I did a lower developer and, as I wait make my way towards the front, I'm going to do a higher developer. That way everything will catch up evenly. So the reason I'm leaving this piece out right here is because she's already a level above a level 10 blonde, and this is from a couple years ago previously thought that was done. If I put this in a foil and lighting it, it there's a good chance that it will break off so the whole reason I'm keeping it out is because it does not need to be lightened. So, just remember that when you are doing foils, if you already have somebody at the desired level, please do not go over it. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people go over already lightened hair and it just ends up breaking off alright guys. So we just finished putting all the foils in her hair. If you can guess how many foils are in her hair, I'm a raffle off one of the formula 18 products - I probably will so if you can guess, leave a comment below that would be awesome. How you feeling awesome, really heavy yeah, so what we did is in the back here, which I'm sure you can see. We did 20 volume all through these back portions here and we did 20 all the way up to the middle of the Mohawk. And then, when we got to the front of her hair here on the sides and the rest of the portion up in the front of the Mohawk, we ended up doing 40 volume she's almost done processing we're gon na show you what it looks like as we Are rinsing it and we're gon na go over the formula eighteen system, then I will be using on her for her hair treatment. So now that we got all the foils out, I have purple shampoo on her the shore lights all over we're letting it just kind of sit right now. Just so, I can tone out majority of this yellow, so I don't have to use an actual toner since we've already done a lot to her later today and do not want to overly chemically process this. So that's why we got her extremely light, but now we're just using a violet shampoo to tone versus putting an actual toner on her, and I think that color looks pretty good. I mean what do you guys think I think that looks really nice. What we're gon na do is we're gon na let this sit for about five minutes and then once we're done. We'Re gon na start the formula eighteen system, treatment on her. It'S gon na be very quick. It'S just a shampoo and a mask, and then I'm gon na explain to you guys what it's doing and we have the mask processing alright. So now that we finished rinsing her hair out with the shimmer lights, we're gon na do the formula 18 system on her. So this is what the bottle looks like. I showed you guys in my previous video with this product. It is so concentrated that you don't need too much of it. If it does not start lathering, then the best thing to do is add more water versus more shampoo. So what this is doing is, as I'm shampooing her hair. It is actually repairing any broken bonds that may have been in her hair on or may have happened while I was doing her color. So this shampoo - it's like it's almost like a thickening shampoo, as I explained in my last video, so any type of damaged hair has frayed ends in it and what the formula 18 is doing is, as I'm lathering it into her hair, it's filling in those gaps. So the hair is going to be more smoother and more manageable and look healthy-looking. So the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to add the formula 18 mask to her hair and it's just a heavier conditioner. This is what the packaging of the mask looks like we're. Not gon na need too much cuz again. All these products are concentrated, but we're gon na need just enough, so I'm just applying the mask into her hair and what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na cap her after it's all fully through her hair? I'M gon na cap her for at least 10 minutes and then we're gon na, let it sit and I'll rinse it out with cold water, most masks or conditioners repair from the outside in this repairs from the inside out. So we just did the formula 18 treatment. There'S no breakage in her hair, it's not shedding, which is perfect. Before I put her color in and before I blow dry, I will be putting the leaving conditioner by formula 18 in her hair and that's just gon na help. Her hair be nice and silky and smooth and dry faster, and it's just gon na help with, like, I said, any type of breakage and it's gon na prepare the hair, while I'm blow-drying it. So I just wanted you guys to see that how I'm using it! You don't eat too much of it, but if you want to spray in more, you absolutely can I'm just gon na blow-dry, her in horizontal partings, just to kind of get her dry and then we're gon na proceed with putting her color on. So now that we finished blow-drying her and we got her very white - I'm gon na go back in and do the for parting sections. So in case you guys don't know how to do a 4-point section. All you do is go right down the middle and go from the top of the head all the way down to the back of the ear. There'S your first section flip it so I'm gon na do. Is I'm gon na go back in first and do her purple group after I'm done with all the roots, we're gon na go back in we're gon na? Do the color mounts of the actual silver and I'll show you guys how I do that now, when applying these colors, you want to be incredibly careful because they are very, very messy and they get everywhere, as you can see probably through here, is that I'm already Getting some blotching but I'll be able to get rid of that, but just hold the tip and they'll hold the hair tight and pull that way. If you're pulling you're getting tension on it and you're not getting any loose hairs that are just gon na be out of place, if I were to do it loose and then just hold the hair, I'm gon na have flyaways all over the place. So it's better. Just to be very careful so now that we finished putting a roots on we're gon na go back in we're gon na, do the silver on the ends of her hair. So probably a lot of you are wondering how I'm going to blend this, and I'm literally just gon na go back in there and do a quick, color mouth. The difference between doing a color mouth and an ombre is, instead of going in and doing your actual painting technique for an ombre effect, you're just using a straight lace like a straight canvas and you're, just gon na literally melt one color into another, so you're gon Na kind of we're gon na apply this silver right, where the like just just past, where her purple stops and we're just gon na blend them very well together and then we're just gon na bring it down. So after six hours later, we finally finished I'm gon na, take it down, so you guys can see it so I'll, probably fast-forward through this part and then we'll come back and you guys will see the finished look. How is that that was amazing dude? Actually, it looks fantastic with me. Like I know steam is she I mean, isn't that gorgeous mmhmm yep and then we'll show the back. What that looks like so that rig can see what that looks like in the back, so it still blends very well still. Has a nice shadow root and they're all that fun stuff and if she does put it half a path down, it's gon na look really cool could do so much with this now like that, but yeah very pretty very gorgeous very different yeah. It'S so that's way. Different than like I said like, I would have ever have done right now, you're just gon na play with it all the time, mmhmm yeah yep, it's gorgeous fabulous. I wish that I could do pin-up girls like that badly like where I can already just do that for the photoshoot cuz that looks really nice right, yeah, it's a pain in the ass. I was gon na, say that's what it kind of looks like that. I wish I already had went through the learning process or something right and I'll show you the back. Let'S say hairdo need to do. Oh, my goodness. What'S freaking awesome, what's your hair, it's not a wig! Oh my god! I love it dude! I love it. Cool awesome, yep, alright, now we're gon na. Do that quick, shot of me turning you around yep
