Any time that I am getting myself or the kids ready for school in the morning, I never have a lot of time to spend on hair! These styles are perfect for those hectic, early mornings because they take almost no time at all, AND they’re so darling! ❤️

( upbeat guitar, music, ), Hey guys, I'm Mindy from Cute Girls Hairstyles and it's the time of year again where we start thinking back to school.. So if you guys are like me and the girls, the first thing we love to do is find simple and easy. Hairstyles that are quick, that you can just do as you're rushing out the door.. So today I've made your life extra easy by bringing three of my favorite back-to-school hairstyles into one video.. Let'S get to the first one., The first hairstyle you guys is called double braided. Buns. Now this is a favorite by Brooklyn.. You see her wear this a lot.. It'S quite simple! You just pull your hair into two ponytails and then you braid, each ponytail and pancake'em a little bit and then twist'em around and bobby pin them into buns.. Okay, now to begin this hairstyle, you can see that I've just pulled her hair up into two pigtails.. Now remember this! Isn'T a slicked back type of look, so it doesn't matter if it's a little more fuzzy than normal. Brooklyn's hair already has quite a bit of texture, but if you wan na add a little more texture, you can take your brush and just go like this. A little bit. We're not really teasing we're just kinda fluffing the hair. And then add the braid in., And what that does is make sure that the braid isn't too perfect and too nice.. You don't want the braid to look too nice or it takes away from the look of the boho feel.. So now we're just going to braid each ponytail. ( upbeat pop music ). You can see there's a lot of texture through the braid, but we're just gon na go back and pancake just to add a little more fluff and a little more fullness. When you're done with that, and you've got a really nice fluffy braid like this, then you Can take it and twist and I like twisting back first. If you twist forward you kind of create this weird bump that I'm not a big fan of., So I always go back and then wrap it and wrap it and tuck the end under and then sort Of place it with your fingers like this, where you want it and go ahead and secure with bobby pins. (, energetic, guitar music ), Once you've got one bun done, then you're gon na repeat on the other side. Once you have both buns in place. The way you like them, then we're just going to take a wand, I'm just using a medium-sized wand and I'm going to just put these little hairs that we left down in front., Nice curl now that's way too curly. So what you do is just tug. It give it a nice tug like this, and it helps loosen up that curl and in just a couple minutes that will kind of pull out even a little bit more and be nice and soft. And you're finished. ( bouncy techno, music ). The next hairstyle is called the French twist into side braids, and you guys know that this is Kamri's like go-to hairstyle. This is the one she learned, the very first when she was younger, so it's fairly simple. Kids that are younger can do it for sure on themselves, which makes your life a lot easier as a mom.. You just take the hair and you twist it around on one side of their head and then you twist it into a side ponytail into like a cute little side braid and there you go.. So to start. I have just parted my hair on the left side of my head and you are just going to smooth down your hair as much as possible., So just take a comb and run it over and then you're going to pick up a small section like right. Next, to that, part. You're gon na pick up another section below that and then just cross them over each other. And then you're gon na add in a little bit of hair onto that bottom section and cross it again., (, cheerful folk, music, ) And repeat that All the way down your hair., This is gon na make it have little bumps and that adds a pretty cool effect.. Now, when we get to here, you're, just gon na scoop, all the hair together and you're gon na grab three different, sections. And begin a braid.. So you're gon na cross that right section over the middle section and now left section over the middle section. And just keep doin' that all the way down until the ends of your hair. And then secure it with an elastic. And that's it ( upbeat pop music. ), The last hairstyle you guys is a no-heat hairstyle. So there's nothing that makes life easier in the mornings than actually having curls that you can sleep in the night before.. So this one is simple.. You just wrap your wet hair up into a T-shirt, piled on the top of your head, and then you take the T-shirt off the next morning and voila. You have these amazing curls.. So the first thing you wan na do when you're, plopping or plunking your hair is just pop a little mousse into your wet hair right out of the shower.. So just put some in your palm and run it through your hair.. I'Ve already done that. So go ahead and flip your head upside down and give your hair a shake at the roots.. This is just gon na kind of separate the curls and any natural curl that you do have is gon na come out at this point., So I'm gon na just brush everything forward. Take the hair up, lay it on the T-shirt, just let your hair kind of just gently fold and we're gon na grab the edge of the T-shirt. Take it right to our eyebrows and around to the back of our head and pinch it. And then grab the other edge of the T-shirt right here, flip it up and over ( energetic pop music ). So you make sure you have a sleeve on each side and I'm still gon na hold that pinch for a second and tip my head up and then grab those sleeves.. You might have to tie it more than once, especially the first few times and then just gon na pull this up. So it's not so far down my forehead and tie it. Ta-da And then you can tuck these or these corners. If they're driving, you crazy, you can just tuck'em in so they're out of your way. And then what you want is see this pocket right here on the top. That'S my hair. Like there's like mrr in there. That'S my hair, all curled up on the top of my head and that's what you're looking for. So now you're good to either go to bed and sleep on it, and this will actually stay in or to wait all day long. If you're doing this in the morning until your hair's dry in the evening., Okay, so the next morning, when you wake up or later that day, you simply undo the T-shirt that you put in and shake the curls out and you have curlage. And then of course, Like any normal curls, you just position them the way you want'em to lay and if you need to, you can add a little dry shampoo.. If sleeping on, your hair still left a titch oily at the top and position'em according to where you want'em. ♪, Everybody wan na sing sing sing ♪. Kate W: Tip from a curly girl, definitely play around with plopping a few times BEFORE a special occasion (like the first day of school)! There is a slight learning curve to get them to turn out well! I’ve found that they always turn out best for me if my roots are still slightly damp when I take it out. If it’s totally dry, I end up with a matted mess because my hair is just too curly for that.(I made this mistake on a snow day where I slept in much later than usual with a plop in and it was a disaster) The amount of product that you use is also a bit of trial and error based on your texture! My hair is really fine so too much cream products and my hair is weighed down and won’t curl, too much gel based product and it’s crunchy and breaking it up causes frizz.

Roxie Doggy: *You can make the plopping curls work a lot better if: * Your hair is soaking wet (her hair looked to be damp) You brush through your hair before adding gel/mousse You scrunch hair after applying gel/mousse Then plop and in the morning your hair will be either slightly damp or dry (depending on how thick your hair is) If it is still wet DO NOT TOUCH IT UNTIL IT IS DRY (otherwise you will create frizz) If your hair is crunchy from gel/mousse once dry, scrunch your hair until no longer crunchy and fluff for volume
