Everyone kelly here with day two of our back-to-school hairstyles. This one, of course, is quick and heatless, just like all the ones that you're going to see this week. So let's go ahead and get started. First of all, we're going to section so you're, going to start off by taking like an inch section from right in front of your hairline right above your ear and right behind your ear and you're. Going to take that whole front section and just put it into a clip out of the way then you're going to take another section, one to two inches wide right behind the one we just did and that's going to be the one that we're going to braid With so, you can keep that one out everything behind that section, go ahead and clip out of the way so that it doesn't accidentally get into the braid, then brush the free section of hair over the top of your head to get it ready for the next Step for this braid we're going to do a lace braid, so to do that you're, going to take a small piece of hair from the bottom of your section, split it into three and then begin braiding and then you're going to pretend like you're, French braiding, but You'Re only going to French braid on one side of the braid, so you're only bringing in hair from the back side. So you'll see here that I'm braiding one side normally and then I'm picking up hair on the back side - and you just want to do this until you get right over the top of your head. Basically, until you get to your temple height once you've done that you can just braid the rest, normally at the end of your braid, go ahead and seal it off with an elastic, then we're going to pull the braid apart for some extra volume. If you want I'm doing this by pulling on each individual little link and I'm pulling on the middle and the outside of the link so that it kind of flares out each little piece and makes it as big as possible. And then, if you want to afterward, you can also pull apart. The whole section and doing those two things together gives you tons and tons of volume in this braid. I'M also going to do that with the top just to get a little bit of extra volume. In the braid - and this is up to you, if you want a lot of volume, go for it, if you don't, you don't have to worry about this step at all. Now that the braid is done, we just have to hide our seams. So, on the side that we started the braid on go ahead and take your clips out and you'll find that they're just nicely covers the base of that braid really well to hide the end of the braid. Go ahead and section some hair over where we're going to pin it and just clip that out of the way, then take your braid back and go ahead and put one or two bobby pins and to hold it in place. You can also use a snap clip because those are a little bit easier than bobby pins. Then I have this extra long, weird layer around my face that I'm growing out, so I decided to go ahead and just sleeve it back right, underneath my braid and pin it in place. If you have similarly awkward hair, that falls in your face feel free to pin it back at this time. If not don't worry about it, then go ahead and take the clear elastic out and unravel your braid. So you don't have an awkward braid sticking out then take your clip out of your hair and lump. It covers bobby pins and everything looks perfect. So that's it for the final hairstyle and I'm gon na show you what I'm wearing with it. Just because I wanted to with this, like nice free-flowing hairstyle, I would end wear a maxi dress or just a flowy dress of some kind, mostly because they're, very swishy and fun to wear, but also because it's really pretty and glamorous, but also very quick to throw On and you're ready to go out the door on those really quick school mornings, so that's been it guys. Kelli: I just tried this hairstyle. I'm sorry to say that, no matter how I try to do it, it just doesn't work on shoulder length hair that has a fine to normal thickness. Usually I really like your hair styles, but if they don't work on normal length hair, it gets frustraiting and it's no fun to keep watching tutorials that can't be accomplished on hair like most people have it... But I still like your videos!
