Here are the SECRETS::

1. Coconut Oil - Adds intense moisture. Anti-bacterial and Anti-Fungal. Prevents breakage.

2. Combing + Detangling - Brush your hair everyday to get rid of knots. Knots in our hair cause more damage than we think.

3. Massaging the scalp - This stimulates hair follicles and promotes growth faster.

4. Natural ingredients only - for example if you need to condition your hair because its too dry..instead of buying a hair mask or deep conditioner, opt for something natural like coconut oil or almond oil.

5. Balayam Yoga - This technique helps you grow hair without doing anything else but rubbing your fingernails together!!

6. Let hair air dry - Use as little heat as you can, so let your hair air dry into its natural state as much as possible.

7. Loose braids - This is such a easy and convenient way to make sure your hair is out of your face and contained together so it wont knot up.

8. Don't wash your hair everyday - Washing hair every day strips it of its natural oils. We need these oils for the health of our hair.

9. Use milk or yogurt as a hair mask - Before you shampoo, apply milk or honey to your hair and watch the difference afterwards!

10. Trim and cut only when needed - Give your hair the chance to grow. When you start noticing its a little dry at the ends, THEN get a cut.

Hey guys, we'll go back to my channel if you're new here make sure that you do subscribe, because I do upload every week and that way you'll be updated with all of my latest uploads. Today'S video I'm going to be sharing with you guys ten secrets, ten secrets that Indian women use to get their hair, the way that it looks now, if you know, if you see Indian women, most of them have the most beautiful long, thick luxurious, just luscious hair. So I'm going to share with you guys 10 secrets that they have been using for centuries to get that hair to maintain that hair. Let'S get started secret number one is coconut oil. Now a lot of people know about this. So the reason that coconut oil is so good for your hair is because it's an antibacterial and antifungal, so it kills all of the bacteria, the bad things that's on your scalp. It also prevents breakage of the hair, because, when your hair is really dry, it's prone to more breakage than it is when it's moisturized and coconut oil is a great moisturizer for your hair, too. Secret number two is to brush and detangle your hair. Now don't do this when it's wet but make sure to brush and detangle your hair everyday. What this does it helps to get rid of and prevent knots now, when your hair is knotted and you don't brush it out and not will just get bigger and bigger and more clumped up and more clumped up until when you brush it out. You just end up breaking off pieces of hair, making the hair really weak and it's just a big ol mess and I've experienced this. So I would go a long long time without brushing my hair and then, when it came time that I thought that I should brush my hair, there would be knots and the knots would be so knotted up that I would have to end up either cutting it Or like really brushing it out, and you can tell when you're brushing that out that it's like damaging your hair, big-time secret number three is massaging your scalp now, what this does is it stimulates your follicles and it helps your hair grow. It also awakens the follicles that are producing hair so that it starts to grow out as well. It really gets the blood circulating in your scalp to make hair grow out and if you are interested, I have a few videos on my channel showing you how to massage the scalp with different kinds of oil, like almond oil, coconut oil, which I will leave down Below secret number, four is always use. Natural ingredients are always go for products that have natural ingredients in them, for example, if you need to condition your hair use, coconut oil or, if you need to add shine to your hair, use aloe vera, I also have a video on my channel how to use Aloe vera to add shine to your hair. It adds Stride better than any product that I've ever used. So I will link that down below too, but always pick products that have natural ingredients in them. Natural oils, just natural things, for your hair, because your hair soaks it up your hair will love you for it and it just promotes healthier longer hair. When you put natural ingredients on it, the fifth secret is called valium yoga. I think I'm saying that right, but it's basically a technique where you rub your fingernails together like this, and it promotes hair growth. So if you do this 10 to 15 minutes a day, it actually helps stimulate the follicles on your scalp to promote better and longer hair growth and say you're, watching TV you're reading a book or something just keep doing this with your nails it just it's. I mean it's relaxing and it also promotes hair growth. Secret number six is to let your hair air-dry. This is another big indian secret, which is just to let your hair be just let it be in its natural state. Let it be in its natural form, let it dry the way that it dries don't use too much heat on it when you don't have to just let it be in its natural form. Secret number seven is loose braids now, most likely you'll always see Indian women with long thick loose braids. The reason for this is when you tie your hair back you're kind of stretching the hair back and also it can cause thinning in the front, which is something that I did deal with, because I we tie my hair in a bun every single day, like tightening On the top - and I noticed a lot of thinning of my hair like on the front, so it just stretches your hair back and it thins it out. So when you have it loosely in a braid, which is what I do towards the end of the night, I will just take all my hair to one side and just braid it, because it's all contained it's in one place. It'S not going to get knotted and it's just it's out of your face, and it's just it's good for your hair to just braid it secret number. Eight is don't wash your hair every single day. This is one that I struggle with, because I feel dirty when I don't wash my hair every day and that's not normal, because you're not actually supposed to wash your hair every single day, washing your hair every single day strips the natural oils and the natural oils Of our scalp and hair actually are beneficial for your hair, so don't wash your hair every single day, secret number nine is to use milk or yogurt as a natural like hair mask so before you shampoo, take either milk or yogurt and apply it to your hair And it will moisturize the heck out of your hair and it also promotes growth and adds shine and luster and just gives life back into your hair tip number ten, and this is one that I always follow - is only trim or cut your hair when it's needed. You don't need to touch your hair or trim your hair like every month or we so often weeks. Just do it when you feel like you need it when you kind of want a different style, you want to layer it up or you have to give your hair the chance to grow. So the more you take care of it. You put the masks on it and you washed your eyes it, the more healthier state that you get your hair into. You don't have to cut it as much. So those are the ten secrets of Indian women on how they grow their hair. So long and pretty and just thick and luscious, I hope you guys enjoyed and found this helpful. Thank you guys so much for watching and subscribe. If you have it because I do upload every single week and I'll talk to you guys in my next video

Sophie O.: Ok, so scalp massages are AMAZING! For a week (I measured my hair at the beginning and the end of the week) I massaged my scalp for about 10-20 minutes every night and a quick massage (just a run through) in the morning. My hair actually ended up growing 1/2 an inch in a week! For me, that's how much my hair grows in a month! Now I'm going to be doing hair masks and the inversion method.

usha singh: And it's genetic for us to have thick beautiful hair.

Shalini Roy: Just letting you know. Having curly hair and being North/Bengali. Need to brush using denim brush or wide tooth comb only and when is wet. your advice Learning new tips for healthy. Lost hair density and thickness and curl pattern within the last 2 yrs. Learning new things appreciate you. Especially because of being Indian our hair is different.

Kamali 9 c: I use castor oil + coconut oil it made my hair more longer and shine

Emília Horváthová: I use this tips and my hair are healthy like never before

Johan John: I know this actually works because my mom always used to put coconut oil in my hair and I still do today, and that’s how my hair is super long and healthy today

rizeuse: I've noticed that you shave little's girls hair often ( under the age of 6) ... What a person told me its because ''' you shave prematured hair and hair will grow thicker'' Is it a cultural thing ?

Klark: Hi +Sheetel, I have one question. My question, is what perservative ingredient or ingredients do you add to your hair mask, to make it last 1-2 weeks?

yodawgcassandro: i love coco oil. i always put coconut oil on my eyelashes. they have grown super long!

Klark: I know you weren't able to answer my first set of questions, but still thanks for trying to. I have two question I would at least like to ask, and the first question, is what natural and organic preservative can I add to the hair mask, to make it last a long time, have a long shelf life, and one that won't interfere with any of the ingredients that are already in the hair mask, and my second question, is where would I store the hair mask? I,m asking you these two questions, because these two question, are the most important questions, out of all the rest of the other questions that I asked you. I hope you please answer my questions, and reply back, thanks :).

Namrata Singh: What did you do to repair thinning in the front section of your hair?

Star Voyager: Best thing that I have found for most knots in your hair, is to apply a flat iron 2 it! Just a few seconds works wonders and you can either comb your hair through or pull apart the knot and then easily comb your hair out w/o breakage or further damage! Just make sure your hair is dry when you do this and you should be great all around! Cheers!

Zahre Mar: I love Balayam! It was such a quirky thing to try but it really works and you can do it anywhere. People with digestive issues should be careful, though, because Balayam truly does invigorate from head to toe. It's basically a discreet scalp massage that can be done anywhere, but it's best to do it first thing in the morning after you brushed your teeth and had some water but no food yet. You know you're doing it correctly if within a minute or two you feel warmth in your stomach, then your face flushes and your ears are warm. Try it, it's a lot of fun!

Be Polite: Thank you so much, that's very great tips

Min Yoongi😎: I'm using Jamaican black castor oil it works so well

Meike Rieger: So great, thanks. And can you dye your Hair without the hair becoming very weak?

Monica: Im indian and i have Shiny hair and i had long hair but i cut it but my hair grew less than a month and its long

Meghana Krishna: Please don't overpluck your brows.. Thick brows suits you better ♥

itsme unicorn: Personally, I hate the way long hair look on ME. My face shape just doesn't suit with it I look too skinny and just like not okay, but I do LOVE long hair on others and I'm constantly battling whether to grow it out or not anyways most of these tips help u get healthier hair in general so thanks

HoneyBee Leishaa: What type of milk does u have to use for hair growth??

nandini prasanth: everything is correct except one. we south indian girls wash our hair everyday. and our mothers and grandmas too. there is no prblm in washing ur hair evry single day , unless u are gonna shampoo it every single day. shampoos are the ones who strips of your natural oils. so shampoo just once or twice a week .thats enough. i personaly apply hairoil every other day and wash off with plain water thats all.

lovely leena: Wow thanks..Balayam yoga seems interesting! Trying it right after this xo

HoneyBee Leishaa: What type of milk does u have to use for hair growth?? Please answer I really wanted to know so I can definitely use your secrets

Yonah: hi Sheetal....did you say dont brush out knots when hair is wet. do you not brush wet hair in other words? Thanks and much peace to you

Jake 334: can i use "REFINED" coconut oil instead of "UNREFINED" coconut oil??

Mousumi das: love u dear. I have cut my hair in layers after watching your video and it looks awesome. thank you for the video. hope to see more

cat lady: I have tried everything to make my hair silky but my hair are a different texture and they're kind of frizzy and fluffy but when they're dirty, the scalp gets oily and the ends become dry. My mom has had thin and straight and long hair but my dad has had very curly hair. Is it because of genetics or are my hair damaged in some way?

Petals: What do you suggest to colour hair? I dont want to use chemical toxic hair dyes and I need to cover grey/white hair

miriki: Wait!! I didn't know some of these were seacrets! I use some of these

Mohammad Rahman: I have tremendous hair loss and i want to stop. My daughter told me to see this video and i did. My hair is growing but super slowly... How can i grow it faster.....

yasmin: About the milk or yogurt, do you applying on your scalp and all the way down?

constantly33 dreaming: Um I have low porosity so I can't do coconut oil.. I can't brush my hair because I have curly hair so I need to wash it when it's wet and if I do it everyday thats unnecessary breakage. While I see that massaging my scalp is very beneficial i can only do it in the shower only on my wash day which is one in two weeks because I need to leave my hair in braids to keep it protected. If I massage on my dry hair I'll just make unnecessary knots in my hair worse, near my scalp. Breakage.. no thank you.. I agree on the natural part unless I need to deep condition my hair which I need store products for that... The nail rubbing thing...cool I'm gonna try that!!♥️ Air dry... I mean when my hair shrinks it gets tangled so I braid it to stretch it it dries then I undo it if I want to let it free.. um I have coarse hair and if I do loose braids well it's gonna unbraid and it's gonna poof out and is unattractive. If I washed my hair everyday... I rather shave if off I have low porosity hair so the yogurt will just sit on my hair... I might try the milk since it's light tho... But doesn't it stink?? Yes only ONLY TRIM WHEN NEEDED! Most of these aren't secrets it's just Indians listening to thier hair and the help of genes but mostly care. Westerns like to dye hair and try new styles which is why they tend not to be noticed. If everybody sacrifices time and gives tender loving care to thier hair then for sure you'll have hair to thier tailbone. Let me just tell everyone what every hair needs no matter where you are. Deep condition everyweek (i do it once on two weeks tho bc I have curly hair that is fiesty and the more I touch it the more it breaks) I swear my hair is healthy, it's just what curly hair girls relate to Every hair needs protien to stay strong. Too much can make the hair dry so it is best to do it once a month and the looser your hair the more often you can do it. BUT NO TOO MUCH! every hair needs oil to protect and moisturize the hair so that is crucial(the only penetrating oils are olive and avocado) but a seal in oil can protect your hair and hold the moisture in. I use the loc or lco method to keep my hair moisturized for two weeks. Have fun on your journey♥️♥️ As long as your hair isn't dry brittle you'll be fine.

Trina Lewis-Mondy: Thank you so much. .. I'll try them all

DJShire: One of the first things I notice about Indian womens hair is how big it is. There's a girl in my yoga group and her hair is so big that it blocks my view of the meditation altar. I asked her once if she sleeps with a pillow or if she just uses her hair as a pillow.

A A: Ok I’m trying this

ksenija riznicc: ty for tips

Rincy Riya: Nice

Daisy T: 11th secret is genes.

Rania Reyes: The nail shit made me laugh are you fooling us over here?

Mohsina Perveen: Are you an Indian? where do you live?

Royalty Beehivecollections: Are you Indian or are you Arabic?

Lps Eat the chicken: I’m from the Yuchi tribe

Lps Eat the chicken: I’m Indian

kelly: omg your hair is goal !!!

Di Wi: It’s funny that I see people say that long beautiful Indian hair is simply genetic but I have seen American Indians with scraggly thin hair like white women because they do not practice these cultural methods. So it can’t only be genetic or the 2nd and 3rd generation Indian American women here in the states would have the same hair as their ancestors as well as their Indian counterparts still in India.

Sandra Seven: Are you saying your indian because you look black. You must be mix with black?

Sampriti Daripa: good

Twin Life: Were is your scalp

Tracy: I lost the sides of my hair. I couldn't understand why I couldn't grow out the sides. I wasn't using heat any more. Till one hair stylist cracked the code and realized I was putting my hair back while wet. Then when it dried it shrinks back and breaks off. It took going to a few hair stylists to tell me that though. I'm gonna complain. Stylist where I live no know next to nothing about the health of the hair. I know more than them. Never would they suggest oils, massages , loose braids etc.. etc... Thank you

Flower_Lover 2007: Instead of sheetal it is shital

v4lue: I’m pakistani and we’re just hairy. Lol it’s not even funny I shave my arms legs armpits shoulders face and other places. I have thick and long hair that’s really nice! But the things I recommend is: - mustard oil / coconut oil overnight wash in the morning - green tea / ginseng tea / etc - we braid our hair often culturally, I put mustard oil to get a nice shine even tho I already have one naturally, its also for forming the braid better - don’t wash ur hair that often, I just soak it in water in the morning, every 4 days I use conditioner and shampoo - don’t use hair dryers or towels it ruin your hair and damages it, put a towel under ur neck laying it on the back and walk around ur house like that - for ur yogurt mask, my family uses a method for yogurt which activates smthn? It’s like Greek yogurt ig, get basic white yogurt, boil it with milk and then cool it overnight , it’s healthy for food too. - Other then that I use korean skin care and hair products because I haven’t been finding good American products. Chinese and Korean skin care are my best recommendations, I don’t even have to look at ingredients anymore, I just get what looks cute and it works. Same for hair products, it’s really working well.

Bonita Williams: im a injdian to
