THANKS A MILLION!! SEE YOU SOON :]

Hey everyone so welcome back to my channel at straight, though, and basically today we are going to do a quick type of walk through how to curl hair for beginners. Now a lot of people ask me: how do you comb your hair, how to use a curling iron, it's very hard to kind of talk someone through through a phone, but obviously in video. It'S gon na be a lot more helpful and you can pause replay. Do all that stuff just so that it's easier for you so stay tuned and I'm basically gon na do kind of a talk through. So I'm not gon na. Do a lot of voiceovers this time on the video I'm gon na. Just explain to you how I use the curling irons. Now this is the curling iron. I have it's just from Walmart sup Conair, whatever you have at home, basically our first step. Obviously it's not hot. I didn't plug it in, as you can see, because I want to go through the motions with you at first and then we'll plug it in and we'll see how the motions work when it is hot and when it is on, don't hold it. While it's hot like this, how I'm doing it you don't want to do that, because you don't to burn your hand and all that stuff and hold it like a bicycle handle, as you can see this, if you've rode a bicycle before this is how you're gon Na hold the handle and now we're gon na focus on basically your two fingers. Now it looks like a loser sign. That'S how I'm gon na describe it basically use your loser sign and we're gon na concentrate, obviously on the clamp of the curling iron. Now, as you can see, these are the two fingers that you are going to use the most up, just because you're gon na be twirling the curling iron and that's how you're gon na achieve your curls plus it's gon na be an easier way to just come. Okay guys so I heated the curling iron. A few tips is, I do have medium to coarse hair, so I kind of stick to the medium high level on my curling iron. If you do have thin hair stick to the lower temperature, you do not want to burn your hair off or anything like that. So, like I said before, don't Sam don't like hold your curling iron over here or anything like that. You want to hold it like a bicycle handle like I said, and then we're focusing on our two fingers, our pointer, our pointer and our thumb, and then just put kind of let's stand down. If you want and have a towel around, so you can lay your curling iron easier on it. So you're not burning any table, that's plastic or anything like that. So basically, we are gon na take a piece of the hair. I just want to make sure you guys can see so we're gon na start off is opening your curling iron all the way or halfway. So like me, I'm opening it halfway and then we're gon na put obviously put closed turn and then switch closed. Turn switch closed. Turn switch now just hold it there for at least 10 to 15 seconds. You don't want to go any higher than that because, like I said you don't want to burn your hair if it seems like your curls, I don't love that to be more than 15. If it seems like your curl is not how you want it to be. It'S not too curly for you, then just go back with a curling iron in the same method and do the same thing over so you won't have to worry about burning or over damaging your hair as well. So let's stick: let's try it again! So take your hair out now. Another trick is kind of not press your curling iron closest to your stop or your head, because you don't want to burn your face. You don't burn your scalp or your hands, be careful of how you put it close to your arm, because even me, I've burned myself on my arm and it's left me bruises, which are not cute, so basically open your clamp with your pointer finger at first put. It through, as you can see, I put it through clothes, turn switch and then we're gon na open it again clip open, close turn switch and, as you see, I'm holding the bottom just to give me some support and you see how it kind of even from Me it kind of opened already you just go back through it and then just hold it again for 15 to 20 or what did I say, 10 to 15 seconds. Huh seconds 15 minutes grow. You crazy, alright! So now we're gon na do and, like I said, I'm right-handed, so we're gon na do this side the same exact way so kind of keep your hands outward, get the clamp. And now, when I like, I said if you're using the opposite side, we're gon na start off with the thumb, not the pointer finger, because you want it away. If you want it toward your face. You'Re gon na use your pointer finger, so we want it away. So the some open, close and then basically just turn and then we're gon na switch again and then open close turn and we are going clockwise, okay, so 10 to 15 seconds and then kind of just release and then biome there you go so try it. One more time so open so we're starting off with the thumb like I said, bicycle handle and then you're, gon na clamp, open and turn and then you're just you're always just moving your hand because you don't want it to kind of create a crease at certain Areas some people that's the problem, they create creases and then they just don't know how to do it. So obviously always use your other hand for just some support and then let it go and there is York, I'm not gon na finish, curling, my hair. I just really wanted to share with you how you can curl your hair for beginners I'll, probably finish curling and after the camera turns off, but I hope these tips and these little tricks and the way I kind of described it, helped you out there. So please, on the comments below, let me know how it worked out for you and let me know what you want to see next. This was a request by one of my best friends and a close friend in Orlando Florida. So this one was for you, so I hope you guys enjoyed it and did learn something. So let me know - and please subscribe like share comment. All the above and I'll see you guys on my next video bye. I swear my nose, always itches

Megan Pezak: This isnt working for me :(

Elizabeth thomas: it is soooooooooooo harder than it looks

Indy Sanders: I love how you approach this literally from the point of knowing nothing about the curling iron for people who are brand new to the idea of styling. Really awesome and I'm sure you've made thousands and thousands of people more confident in working with their hair.

PLACIDITY91: Great video, thanks!

shelby brown: thank you so much.... this helped me a lot... can u make a tutorial on how u put on your make up , because i love it!!!!!!! : )

정은해: Do not be intimidated by a curling iron. I know absolutely nobody within my friend group that knows how to use one. They think it's too difficult. Everyone knows how to use a curling wand for some reason. If you don't understand what she means by turning the iron, you basically just twist it in the way you want the hair to curl. When you are twisting, open the clamp slightly so the hair can slide around the iron. Make sure your ends are under the clamp so they won't be straight and don't leave them in for too long. To prevent the dent or crease in your hair that is caused by the clamp, the moment you clamp down on the hair, start twisting to the clamp doesn't dent the hair. It won't dent after you start curling because it's purpose is to keep the hair in place on the heat source. Remember, this takes practice so if you are an absolute beginner, try the technique without the heat on. A curling iron makes more structured curls compared to the wand so it's your choice. In my opinion, I think the iron is better since you can create different looks with them from very glam and done up to more beachy and the plus is that you don't really have to touch the iron AT ALL since the clamp does that for you.

Ahmed Ullah: Same too I try this technique but my hair is so weak and now my head is

Anna S: I wonder how some ppl can curl the back of their hair with just feeling it while i get confused even with a mirror infront of me n ended up burning my fingers

Officially Drysdelle: if u want your curls to last all day and have extra time to style, i would pin curl set your curls. Setting your curl helps your hair cool down and adding hairspray at the end gives it that extra hold.. if your hair is thin.. BEFORE you blow-dry add some mousse. Check out the vid and try it out, hope this helps! Watch my pincurl/kimK video (it shows u how to set your hair) note if you dont have hair pincurl clips you can use bobby pins.

I think the heat actually made the conditioner go in deeper...yay :)
