2022 *New* Holygrail Bald Cap Method ‼️ Ginger Wig Install Ft Sunberhair

What'S up, ladies welcome back to my channel jumping right into the video the company i will be working with today is sunbur hair. Here, i'm showing you all my nooks and goodies. I got they sent me some beauty. 3D eyelashes. I also got some hair clips. I also received a silk scarf um, a wig cap and the wig. This is the wig right here. This is their 13 by four lace wig in the color number 30.. This is their ginger lace, wig um. It is the kinky curly and it did come in hd lace or transparent lace, whichever one but yeah jumping into this video. Those of you who don't know already know um. You want to go ahead and clean the perimeter of your hairline with 100 sorry, 99 or 75 alcohol, and you want to clean the perimeter of your hairline. We are going to get into the bald cap. This is going to be in detail in depth. Updated 2022 ball cap method, so pay attention. Okay, first, i'm going to start from scratch. So i'm going to be detangling! My hair. I just want to show you guys from start to finish um what this process looks like. So here you guys see me detangling. My hair and my hair has grown a little bit since i've last cut it um, so i'm just brushing everything out and i'm going to put it in a little low, ponytail um y'all. Don'T laugh in my little struggle. Ponytail we're gon na make it do what it do, but i have y'all always asking me how i do my ball caps. What does my ball cap? Look like? How do i do it, so i wanted to show you guys now that everything's detangled i'm going to snatch that little piece. You know my little inch in the back and i'm going to put that in a low ponytail like so, as you guys see now, i'm going to take my nairobi setting foam and this is just going to basically lay all my hair down and mold it back Into that low pony that i've already put it into um, if you have short hair, you can use this to kind of mold your hair back, like first before you put down gel or whatever um. This is what i use and it works perfect, as you guys can see it instantly laid my hair down and my hair is really really curly um, so it works wonders for me. If you have braids, you don't have to do this step. You can skip this step because, obviously you have a braid down, but for my ladies who have twas or short hair, and you want to install your hair and don't know how to um take care of it up underneath this is what i do. I just mold everything back until everything is nice and flat, as you guys can see, i'm just molding everything back into that pony um, and once we get really hanging on a pony. It'S a pigtail sis. Once you get everything molded into that pigtail um, we are going to get ready to my handy dandy super secret. Well, basically, i don't know secret, but my updated way of how i lay down and mold my hair. Next, i'm going to be taking my moroccan argan oil weave, wonder, wrap, and i froze this because i want y'all to screenshot this. This right here is what is going to make or break your ball cap, and it saves your edges y'all. I wish i would have been known this like been doing this because it's so smart. I used to get quick weaves all the time, um and use this, and never thought of using this with my frontals. So, as you guys can see that little black liquid i'm putting that all over the front of my hairline, this is like a quick weave mode that once it dries it hardens to like a hard shell and protects your hair from adhesive or anything that you're putting On top of your hair and this gel um comes in a clear and a black bottle, i was out of my clear bottle, so i just used what i had, which was the black bottle. It really don't matter um but, as you guys can see, i'm just putting a nice little layer, i'm going all the way across to the front of my edges, and this is what is going to protect your edges from them being pulled out the glue getting on Them or anything, and it makes your ball cap lay super super flat. So, as you guys see, i'm just taking a popsicle stick and smoothing that in um, until i like the consistency of it - and i just want to show you guys again - this is the moroccan argan oil uh - wonder weave wrap. I use this for all my ball. Caps, i use this on myself. I use this on my clients and, let me tell y'all it saves wonders you do not have to worry about your edges being gone, no more because they gon na stay baby. Next, we are going to get into the wig caps. I will not be using a wig cap; this is what i'm gon na use. This is the ultra sheer pantyhose in the queen size. I got this from my local beauty supply store. This is what you want. I'M going to show you the difference um. This is the pantyhose. This is what they look like straight out of the pack um. You just want to take the two little leg pieces. This is what i do. I just cut those leg pieces off and the leg pieces that are left over. That will be your wig cap that you use, and this saves you so much more money um the stockings were like 199 299 and the wig caps are like 1 or 2.99, and you only get one or two caps. I just want y'all to see how thick that is and look how thin this ultra sheer pantyhose is look how thin that is. I want to show you guys the difference of what the cap looks like on me. This is what it looks like and i'm gon na go ahead and cut out my little ear holes, and i know you guys are wondering what do we do with the back of the cat? What do we do with the back of cap that long piece? Your little sock piece that you're gon na have once you cut out your holes. I just like to tie that into like a little knot and you guys are going to see this here, just knot it at the end and cut the excess off and save it. For later i use you can use the rest of the um stocking for another ball cap later on or if you're, installing a wig on your client or your friend whatever, but just cut that little knot off like that. Cut that little knot and i'm going to turn around and show you guys what the back looks like everything's secure, so it stays it stays to the back and yeah. Now i want to show you guys the difference between a wig cap and the sheer you see how thick that is. You see it's not giving what it's supposed to give. I don't like it. This is what your wig caps should look like. It looks so much transparent. You can see your hairline, it's thin, it's going to blend and it's going to work next. I'M going to take my erica j hold me down adhesive, and i'm going to put this going from ear to ear, and i feel like with this ultra sheer pantyhose. You can definitely see your hairline, whereas with the wig cap you don't know if you putting glue on your hair or on the cap or on your skin, because it's so damn thick and it's tinted. So i hate that now, as you guys can see, you can clearly see my hairline. You can clearly see where my skin starts. You can see i'm clearly putting the glue on my skin, not on my hair, and i just i just love the way i do. My ball caps now y'all. This is like my go-to and they last longer and everything like just get into it once that's done, i'm going to take my got to be glued and spray from ear to ear like two to three times just get a nice little. Even coat and then once that's done, we are going to sit up under the dryer until that is dry. If you don't have a hooded dryer, just take your blow dryer and use that on a low cool setting and just keep using it until it dries. Everything will dry, um together, it'll feel like a little hard shell on your head, but that's when you know everything is dry and it's ready to go okay once your cap is dry, we're going to go ahead and cut off the excess, and i want to show You guys what it looks like um. It should look a little darker than the actual cap it'll be adhered to. Your skin and it'll. Almost look like your skin, so you'll know it's actually dry and done, but here i'm just showing you guys um the cutting off process. So you guys can see. The cap is already blending into my skin right where my skin is - and i really don't have to put makeup on my skin at all. I'M really only going to put makeup on my hair because my hair is so dark but say if you were to have you know ash brown, hair or blonde hair, and you did this method. You really wouldn't even have to put any makeup on your cap after this, because it's so thin it melts into your skin after you adhere it down by girl. You can just get up and go really like look at that. Look how flat and melted that ball! Cap is, i haven't, even put no makeup on it yet now for my makeup, i just take a foundation powder in the color, my shade um. I did have a full face on so i just matched the um foundation powder that i used with the makeup that i had because i contoured and everything already so, as you guys can see, everything is blending everything's, looking flat, nice and neat. This is what you want it's giving, what it's supposed to get now once this is done. This is what your ball cap should. Look like. Tell me, i'm not caillou. Tell me, i'm not lobel. Tell me i'm not ball headed, because i definitely am it's giving what it's supposed to give and now we're going to jump into this install. You want to go back in with your alcohol and clean the perimeter of your hairline one more time, just to get the makeup off that you put on your ball cap to make sure everything was blended off before we use our adhesive um use a cotton swab Or q-tip, or whichever one you want just make sure you get the makeup off, because you don't want it there when you use your adhesive because it can get messy and it might not stick now, i'm going to go in with my erica j hold me down. Skin guard you're supposed to use this before you use your glue, let it dry completely and then you want to go in with your hold me down adhesive and i'm going to do two to three thin layers. I'M using my rat tail comb and i just want to show you guys this whole process. I meant it when i said in detail: updated tutorial y'all, because i'm really giving you the t now, i'm starting on one side and working my way to the other and just kind of stopping in the middle, because this glue kind of dries pretty fast. So i just work my way from one i uh side to the other until the other side is clear and, like i said, i'm gon na do this about two or three times until i get a nice little consistency that i like and um once i like, The tackiness of my glue, like i said after two or three layers um and it's like halfway clear, almost clear, we're gon na go ahead and put the lace down like so so once your lace is ready to be adhered down, you want to just gently: go Ahead and place everything down, don't press anything in until you like the placement of your lace. Here i am i'm just gently placing everything now and then kind of giving it a firm little press before i um make sure everything is good. Once you have everything lined up, you want to give it a nice firm press like so, and you can use your hands or a rat tail comb. It doesn't matter, and then i'm going to go in with my eyebrow razor and cut off any excess lace and then we're going to get ready to do our baby hairs and style y'all. I'M in love with this color. It is giving me like spice girl, pumpkin spice vibes, and it's so cute. It goes so good with my skin tone like it's so cute, but i'm assist now. You just want to repeat the same process on the other side, cut off any excess lace, any lace that isn't adhered down, we're going to adhere down with our lace, even lace spray later on in the video. So don't worry about that, but yeah i prefer to use an eyebrow razor than scissors because you get more of a clean cut well or more of a rugged cut than a clean cut with scissors, because you don't want a straight line on your lace. You want it to look as natural as possible, so i go with the eyebrow razor just because it gives it more of that zigzag jacket cut and i'm giving scalp already don't play with me. Now i'm going to pull out my baby hairs, i'm going to do a thin layer and i'm not really going to have a part. I'M really just going to have like a little flip over method part. So i want baby hairs all over from ear to ear. So i'm going to be pulling those out, and once i get the placement of my baby hairs, we're going to tie all that down with an elastic band and a wrap strip using some nairobi foam and some even lace spray. The even lace spray is my handy dandy, holy grail, i feel like even after you use your adhesive, and you know your makeup and your ball cap, the even lay spray on top of all of that lays everything down so, like i said, i'm gon na pull Out all my baby hair um, once i like the placement of my baby hairs and how many baby hairs, i have out on each side we're going to lay that down with a wrap strip and some elastic band, and i'm going to use nairobi setting foam and Some even lace braid to adhere that down and while that's baking up under the band we're going to detangle. This hair define the curl pattern and get ready to finish up this video so to define my curl pattern, i'm just going to take a water bottle and a paddle brush and start on one side, detangling from the bottom working my way up to the top, and Then repeat the same process: on the other side, the hair was really easy to work with it didn't really tangle or shed like that, and it was easy to um detangle when once i put some water on it um once that is done once i'm done detangling. I'M gon na set everything and define the curls with a mousse spray, but you just want to start at the bottom and then work your way up to the top like so using some water or any type of you know, leave-in conditioner that you have, but i Find that waters work just fine, it doesn't have to be soaking wet just enough to, like, i said, run the brush through the hair, and once you get the curl pattern, looking more defined, i'm going to go in with my big roll, mousse and um seal. All that in everything that i just defined and once that's done we'll be finishing up so so so so once that's done cooking, you want to pull your lace strip off, and this is what the lace is looking like. It is super super melted, and this is what the even lace spray does every time, and this is what i mean when i say it is the holy grail. Now we are going to use our kaposi or my kaposi mini straightener, and i got this off of amazon and i'm just going to pre-curl my baby hairs going upwards or away from my face and i will be doing like an extra dramatic baby hair look. So i try my best to stay in frame y'all. It was kind of hard with me doing my you know edges on camera, but we made it do what it do once you curl everything upwards, um kind of like have them going like in a c motion or just curled upwards. You want to take your nairobi setting foam and a little bit of got to be glued gel and we're going to lay everything down. Taking my got to be glued in the yellow bottle, i will be going in and using just a little bit to lay down my baby hairs. I did already do one swoop um off camera, because i thought i was filming, but i wasn't and i realized so i finished and got the rest on camera um. I keep going in and out of frame with this because i was looking into like a little mini mirror below my camera. So if you see me going closer, it's because i couldn't see but yeah um, i'm gon na start in the middle and then work my way off to the sides. I am doing like kind of wispy dramatic, baby hairs. Um take your time with this. I did speed this up for the videos you know just for the video it's already running, like 30 minutes long, but you get the idea um just swoop, and i use a eyebrow spoolie to lay everything down and if i can't get like a certain hair to Lay a certain way i'll just go in with my rat tail comb until i get it to position how i want to um but yeah once i finish this, that will be the completed look so so so to seal the deal i'm going to be taking my Got to be glued spray in the yellow bottle and i'm just going to put a little bit on the perimeter of my hairline and then go in with my hot comb and just smooth everything out, make it all nice and neat. You don't want no lumps humps or bumps, and once you do that that will be the completed. Look. Okay, ladies, this is the finished, look get into it get into it again. This is sunbur hair.
