How I Melt Synthetic Wigs 2022 *What Lace?* No Leave Out! Feat. Wigtoday

This sounds like rico: what's up guys welcome back to another hair related video once a year i like to do a how i make my synthetic wigs look natural uh just to show you guys some tips and tricks that i've learned along the way, as well as Just showing my growth, i have my hair all braided up. We are going to get into the wig, but before i get into that, i want to talk about some other wigs that i have that are really beginner friendly and i think would be awesome for anyone watching this video that might not, you know, know how to Apply which is fine right, this video is sponsored by wig. I did put some concealer on here. Um - and i did also cut the bangs to frame my face, so that's the only thing you really have to do is with these type of wigs. That'S why i say: they're really good for beginners, because all you have to do is just frame your face and plop it on and walk out the door right. So this is just like a little chestnut brown color. I tried to make it match my natural hair. Color just to throw it on, you know when it's cold or whatever but yeah. This is a nice natural, natural uh, little bob okay. So now, let's get into some unnatural funky stuff that you could do so wig today also has this wig on their website. It came in the same bag and also came with a hair net, and it is also a bob wig, except it has a peekaboo color, oh, and they also come with this netting as well. So this one is longer. It is a bob with a blonde like peekaboo in the front, so freaking cute. So this is the same deal. All you have to do is frame the bang to your face. I also went along with the blonde and just went with like a little razor and just frayed this a little bit just to give it like a little more like a punky type. Look, and this is what it looked like on me. Um here are some pictures. The pictures show it the best like how it really looks this is me out and about like on the podcast and stuff i wore on my podcast last night, and i got hella compliments on it: okay, um, even if you are scared of blonde, i feel like This is pretty fun and also you just add your makeup to the part. You just add your makeup to the part and boom and bobs are always the way to go, but i feel like you should. If, when you're first starting out, you should get a natural color bob and then something a little funky. You know to be expressive and even though wig today is kind of like the one stop shop for cosplay again, you could always find wigs that can be worn for day leave so honest thoughts on brown wig. I do like the brown wig. I do like the cut and i do like the bang okay um, my only con about this one is the length if this was a little bit shorter. Wig today for sponsoring this video and let's get into the hair tutorial, okay, all right guys, so we're going to be doing a good, old-fashioned voiceover for this tutorial. Now this is the wig straight out of the box. I'M in love with these curls never had a synthetic wig that has body like this, like super excited about putting it on. So this is a t-part wig and for those of you guys that don't know what that is, it's basically, you only have lace in the front and the part um. I thought i had a video on here showing the inside i'll put it on the screen somewhere, but this is the lace up front. As you can see, it's pretty boxy. You want to be really careful with tea part wigs in specific, but you could use this same method on just a regular lace front synthetic wig, so i'm just spraying the front with some water and conditioner. Just so, i could brush the hair back and i could see like what the hairline is giving where the tracks start, especially with part wigs. You want to be really careful not to push the hairline two back too far back because then you can have your tracks exposed. So what i'm doing is just get a rat tail comb and separate just a little teeny bit of hair right before the hairline. Again, you want to be really careful to not take too much hair. That was one of my mistakes. When i was first starting out, i would just take out big chunks of hair in the front. So here you can see right here that there's like that's where the track stops so like i had to manipulate around that a bit you know give some hair back. Take some hair give some back type of deal. So now i am just going in with some tweezers and lightly plucking. So now i'm just doing this on the other side, because all you have to do is just undo literally undo. The knots on some of these you'll know what i'm talking about. If you, if you get it, you get it okay, if you get it, you get it now. This front part is really important. I like to make sure that there isn't a lot of hair right in front of the part. So i like to build my baby hairs toward the sides with center parted wigs, so i'm just going to pluck around where i really want the baby hairs to be so. I'M just sectioning out little tiny chunks of hair to make its baby hairs and notice. I brushed back the hairs from before so now we're just going to get this little tool all the tools i'm using are going to be in the description by the way and we're just going to chop that off now. This is what really sets it off. So you want to get a low low heat, the lowest heat you've got and just press the top and curl your baby hair. This wig did take heat. Well, you want to make sure that whatever wig you're using does take heat, but if you do buy this wig it takes heat very well, um and yeah. You just want to repeat along the hairline just to smooth stuff back so you're, not accidentally curling or cutting any other hair. So this is both. Sides are done, um just focus. I focus more on the top than anything because that's what's really going to be setting off your look, so let's try it on after the shaping and stuff. This is no glue, no tinting, no, nothing just straight after plucking volume. Looking awesome, no knots at the ends like yes, so you guys can see. The knots are pretty dark. The knots are pretty dark, um and the lace is pretty light. So i am, i am going to end up tinting it with some foundation, and this is what it looks like just with some foundation on i'm going back. I probably would have went in a little bit more on the part, but i think it blends way better than it did before. It was looking really white on my forehead before so now. I'M just matching up my hairline to cover the wig cap so that i could start laying down these baby hairs, so i'm just using a regular light. Eco style gel now here is the hack for tea part, wigs, okay, i'm giving you the sauce big baby hairs. Big baby hairs girl go big or go home, the girl's like get it get it and the girls that don't don't. Okay, when it comes to these two part, wigs big baby, hairs. Okay, then you top it off with that got to be now. This is the secret secret sauce. Some of y'all might be like girl. What are you doing? This is what gives you that little peekaboo effect as if you have a full frontal when you got on that t part now, look tell me it doesn't tell me it. Doesn'T look like i got more going on than it does? Okay, now be careful, those girls can get a little dangerous, you know, look them up there, you go, and that is it guys like. I didn't curl this hair or nothing like this is still the natural texture. I am so in love with this.
