Headband Wig 2022! Super Easy Application! | Protect Your Hair Sis!

Jumping straight into my videos per usual welcome to my channel. If you are new and welcome back if you're a current subscriber, this is how i achieved my headband wig style. Don'T act like y'all, don't know these braids because i belay okay. So all i've done so far is pull my hair back in a way that is not going to be too bulky. Thankfully, this hair is curly and whenever you wear curly hair, you don't have to worry so much about sleeping the braids back to be. You know flat to your head, so mine can be a little bit bulky, i'm going to go ahead and lay my baby hairs, and then i will apply the wig. So i'm going to be using the got to be glued. Handy dandy got to be glued. A little bit of the got to be sprayed and just a scarf to lay my edges. Oh my god, and i want sort of a dramatic, not too dramatic, but a dramatic baby hair, so i'm going to lay them before i spray them a few moments later. Okay, uh. We got to sort of make this video quick, because i got cleaners trying to make their way upstairs and yeah. I don't want to be in their way. So after about 10 minutes, i'm gon na spray, just a little got to be not very much at all. Now, for the moment of truth, you guys i've never worn a headband wig before i've been dying for one. I tried to get one that was more um sort of similar to my natural hair, but a little bit longer. I would be honest i wish i would have got a longer length. I just i'm a long length kind of girl, i'm not really a short hair wearing kind of girl, but we gon na make it do it's still gon na look cute. Okay, so the wig comes just like this. With the headband, it's got velcro straps and it's got combs. So it's got four different combs, the one here at the top, the one here at the bottom and then two on the sides. I will probably only be using the one here at the top and the one at the bottom just to keep the wig stable. I'M gon na bring it back a little bit. I don't want it to be too far from my head just far enough to where, if i need to cover some hair, i've got the headband to do that. But you know i don't want it to be too far to where it looks wiggy. So let me strap this bad boy down and i love how the headband is like this silky material that way it's not rubbing against your edges and causing them to break because honey. My edges break. If i look at them, so i don't need anything causing my edges to break i'm gon na pull that headband back a little bit and it's already looking cute. I don't know if i want to do like a middle part kind of looks church-ish, but i think the side looks really good and there's no lace or anything when you use these headband wigs. It'S really just i don't know if you all remember those like half wigs, that people used to wear people still wear them, but that's pretty much how it is. There'S no lace. So there's no like real, true parting or anything like that. But if you want you could kind of fake it. I don't think anybody's gon na be looking too hard like that. So i like this, i want to sort of shape the hair, so i'm going to cut just a little bit of the hair off to give it a little bit more of a body look and not just kind of all over, so i'm going to snip it Up a little bit and apply some products to help it keep its shape upwards, because i want to keep the shape already looks a little better to me. It just looks less stringy those hairs at the end just kind of made. It feel a little stringy. So i'm gon na finish cutting up some of these pieces. You might even cut this bang a little bit too much and with this being curly hair, you want to be careful not to cut too low, because once you cut it, it's going to spring back up. So just keep that in mind. I think i want to kind of bring it to the front a little bit both sides. So i'm going to sort of cut some hair off of here as well to kind of shape my face a little bit better, maybe give it a little bit more snipping from the sides and back for the body i'm going to take a little water just to Sleek out some of those flyaways and just to see also what kind of shape adding some water does for the hair. Okay, so i'm just gon na let it go whichever way you know, i'm not gon na lay it any particular way to the side or to the back, i'm just gon na kind of let it do its thing honey. So so the wig came with a headband. Ironically, it kind of matches what i'm wearing today, at least my bottoms. So i'm going to put this headband on and see what that looks like as well. The way it's supposed to go is sort of in this x shape, so i'm going to try and apply it like that, and you guys i didn't wash this hair before applying it. I just went ahead and applied it. This isn't had been weak, for me. Is more so just kind of lazy day hair? It'S a naturals dream! Lazy! It'S a lazy, naturals dream! If you ask me like this, takes little very little maintenance and you can take it off at night - still treat your natural hair. You just take it right out and put it right back on, lay some baby hairs and you are good to go like i love this. It looks so natural and i love the cut, definitely wearing the headband, that it uh that they added into it. I love this so cute and just when i needed something extra to wear to work like y'all, i've been so down bad at work. I just been putting on a little nursing cap and just going in honey. Sometimes i just wear braids up under that cap because i just don't be feeling it, but this is super cute and just what i needed right in time. Okay, you guys so i'm definitely giving this headband wig a 10 out of 10.. The hair is soft and manageable. It'S not shed really any. When i cut the hair i kind of was thinking. Maybe it would do a little bit of something, but no it's it's not really shedding. I guess i'll have to give you guys an update after i actually wash it to see how it does with that. But this hair is so soft. The curls are pretty and they're actually holding despite me spraying that water and got to be sprayed on there. They'Re sticking to the natural curl pattern that it came with. If anything i do wish that i would have got a longer length again. I tried to go with something that was more natural, that looked a lot like my personal natural hair, but i'm just a long hair kind of girl and i love the voom of it. So when i order again, i'm definitely going to do a longer length and maybe play with some of the different textures. I also wanted to stay away from straight, because i know my natural hair is not straight, but you don't have to pull out a lot of your natural hair to get a straight wig. So, as you can see, it's very little, if you could sleek your baby hairs down with some got to be and that spray honey it no matter what texture your hair is, it is going to hold nice so definitely giving this wig a 10 out of 10.. I love it. You guys definitely check these out, just something to kind of switch it up in between your wig hairstyles and still be able to care for your natural hair.
