Hey everybody and welcome back to my channel. My name is Fang if you knew hi, if you're not hi, let's talk so first of all, follow me on all my social is my name on everything is I am this babe? I like comment subscribe everything that every youtuber says do do it now. I just can't remember so recently I text last my hair. This is my new curl pattern. Thanks to the texturizer, and I really love the results. I have been natural on and off for 10 years, and what I mean by that is in a 10-year time frame, I probably had 5 relaxer. It did catch me by surprise how many people were genuinely disappointed, more genuinely sad and actually caught some attitude with me, because I did it relax it on my hair, but on the flip side of it, the thing that surprised me, the most was how many women That I am connected to who are natural. That said, I honestly want to go back to the lectures as well so to them and anyone else who wants to make a decision about their hair. I asked what is the holdup, unfortunately, in today's society, and it has always been throughout history. Black women are the most policed women when it comes to beauty standards. If we are natural, we're told our hair is nappy, unruly untamed unattractive, not sexy, and just a mess. If we are relaxed with hope, we have your beauty service, that we don't love ourselves, that we're lazy, that we're broke, because we can't afford natural hair products a bunch of other stuff, whether your natural, your relaxed, whether you are natural and your body or if you Have surgery if you affect skinny small, whatever we are policed and my thing in at what point in time? Do you live for yourself and not for other people's rules, like my whole purpose is telling you to get a relaxer, it's not for everyone. I don't think that we should all just go out and just or get given ORS in there olive oil relax bunch of money. What I'm saying to you is: if you are a black woman on the fence about wanting to go natural, do it go natural? If you are a black woman who is currently natural and you look he's sick of it, relax your hair, if you want to change your look and cut your hair off, do it whatever you want to do? Do it because, at the end of the day somebody is always gon na have something to say someone is always gon na try to shop with you and your decision, and it's some one time you have to tell the world I got. Ta live for me. So for anybody out there who wants to make a decision about their own beauty journey, make the decision for you being natural, does not mean you love yourself. You can be totally natural and have low self-esteem insecurities and live beneath your window. You can have relaxed hair and be the most woke woman on the planet, and people will still have something to say. It is up to us to take our power back and live in our truth. If you want to be relaxed, get a freakin, relaxer honey and if you want to go natural, do that but make sure whatever you do you do it because of your own mind, your own decision and not because someone put a shackle on you and told you This standard of beauty means this, and if you don't live up to this, you are less than that is a lie from the pit of hell, and I reject it so say everyone who wanted to. Let me know how much of a self-hating black woman I was because I turn around a text lack of my hair. I want to say your mama's. Are her shame really, oh how I just said that for human, I am just challenging you to take your Beauty back and I'm challenging other people in our community to stop being so judgmental of us just because we don't live up to the standards that you have For us and real top, I want to also challenge you to not allow people to politicize something that you don't want to politicize it. I remember when I was planning my wedding. I saw a post on Instagram news on a natural hair page where it was just like a repost of a tweet looks like a Mane saying, there's so many occasions in black women's lives of black blue girls lives where it's a special occasion, and you look back At the pictures and your hair was straightened so when I started planning my wedding, I told all of my bridesmaids - I don't care if you are relaxed, you better have curls that day. Everybody is supposed to show up in a natural hair style, and I made that decision just after that meeting - and I said within myself - I don't want them to be my truth, where every special moment of my life, I have straighten my hair, because I felt that Was more beautiful and then I took a step back and I said: am I making this decision for me? Am I making this decision to prove a point and I asked him I said what do I really want on my day and that's what I went with. I straighten my hair because it's what I wanted to do. It was my moment and I'm not gon na, allow someone else's political stance to become mine, and I challenge you to do the same thing. Why are you natural and whatever that reason is stick today? I went natural because I wanted to break the cycle of delusion and European beauty standards that their way of doing things is better. I decided to Tek slacks because I was sick of doing my hair. At the end of the day I did my bed. I did two years, you live how you want to live, and I'm gon na make every decision I want to make for me and you can like it or you can I again. I just want to close this out we're saying to my sister's. I love y'all. Be who you are authentically and walk in your own power and authority and make your own decisions your own hair? If you are thinking about cutting your hair - and you want to take this as your sign - go - get the hair style that you want sis, because if the end of day is just hair and it grows back and if you hate the cutting, you can get a Wig you can get weave, you can get brace you into whatever you want to do. It will grow back if you want to relaxer get one, and if you decide that you hate it go back natural. If you are very lacks right now and you want to go natural, do it if you want to do a big chop to it and if you hate it, you can always go back, but it's a beautiful journey for you to embark on and our rep may. I recommend it to every black woman if you have been relaxed for the majority feel like at least go natural for some time and then, if you decide it's not for you, you don't like it. That'S your decision to make. Don'T let anybody take your power away. Do whatever you want to do with your hair, do whatever you want to do with your body as long as it's safe? Okay, that's all I can say make safe decisions, make your own choice and shut out the noise of everybody else, and if you don't like it, you can always fix it. Reversing or living grow through it all right. I love y'all have a good day and if you want to relax and do that and if you're not stay natural girl,

Faye In The City: The point: I’m not #TeamNatural. I’m not #TeamRelaxed. I’m Team BLACK WOMEN CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT. So before you comment on what a black woman decides to do with her hair: STFU.

Stacy Lynn: I think the natural hair movement really helped people learn how to care for their hair. So whether relaxed or natural you still have to maintain a healthy hair regimen.

Veta Knox: I just want healthy hair....Periodt

WhatsOnHerMind: "Being natural does not mean you love yourself..." A word!!

Rocki Benjii: Just relaxed my hair yesterday, got tired of dealing with my natural hair. I feel so free

Perside kabamba: I was so depressed natural... I looked a freaking mess all the time... edge control didn’t work, I wouldn’t comb it for shit... I relaxed my hair and I loveeeee it.

Amanda Brunson: PREACH! I was relaxed from age 5 to 18 and I started transitioning 6 months ago. When I was relaxed, all I heard was "You don't love yourself....You gone put all them chemicals in yo body...blah blah blah." Now I'm transitioning and all I'm hearing is "What you going natural for?....You gone lose all that long, pretty hair." Baby, just let me do ME

Créolèsque: It’s hair, just hair! Cut it, dye it, relax it, be natural, texlax it , perm it, go bald, shave half of it off, braid it, put a wig on, weave it up... etc. As long as you’re happy and comfortable. Simple.

Spiritually Young: I relaxed after a year. My hair just seems to grow better relaxed and don't kill me for saying it but I feel prettier with my manageable relaxed hair

faith yayi: I’m getting a relaxer after 7 years of being natural. I’m beyond over it. Super excited !

Daisy Flower: I went natural before I knew it was a trend. It was because I saw a gorgeous black girl with a beautiful high puff and I wanted my hair like that. I wear my hair natural everyday and its because I absofreaking love my hair and I love how I look in it. I mean the volume is everything and I am always staring at myself in the mirror at how good I look lol. I personally think wearing my hair out is the best I have ever looked. But I won't ever force the same decision on anybody. We should all do what we believe is best for us.

Mia Bella Li: Wow people are really going crazy over hair?? My hair, my body, my prerogative. Kudos to you, great video

Thee_BougieBronze Beauty: I loved the message of this video. ❤❤ A wise woman made a comment on a relaxer video, and it really resonated with me. She said, "My body doesn't need to be a site of activism, and I'm not gonna make myself miserable to prove a point."

Sharnell C. Lewison: I appreciate this upload so much. We tell kids not to bully each other and yet grown adults are attacking each other over hairstyles, eyebrows, edges, the list goes on. Enough is enough !!

Baby Luv: Girl, naturals will be so quick to call women self-haters for getting a relaxer. Meanwhile, they’re “natural” but always hiding their hair under Brazilian hair that looks nothing like their natural hair it’s just hair. I’m texlaxing next week!

SILKY MILKY: *Facts* ..I'm relaxing my hair with no regrets. I miss my silky inches. I want to save time & money ‍♀️

Renee Hamer: “At the end of the day someone’s always got something to say” preach!!!

Tasmine A: One minute, I’m relaxing my hair and the next- I’m big chopping and rocking my natural! I just do whichever one I want to do at the time. That’s the perks of being a back woman. We can be versatile whenever ‍♀️

BROWN SKIN GIRL: I would never relax my hair since 2009. The chemicals is just tricky and harsh. I love my natural hair . By the way , I respect for who relaxed their hair , no judge . ❤️

Rogena: I agree , we’re gonna be judged and criticized regardless. I personally want to get to know and understand my natural texture because it’s been relaxed most of my life so I personally don’t want to go back to a relaxer but if someone else wants to then that’s their preference. Everyone should do what makes them happy

Ethereal: Honey! Variety is the spice of life. To each their own. "Black women are the most policed..." an understatement.

Nikki Nunya: You've inspired me I'm tired of the STRUGGLE I'm texlaxing this weekend! Thank you!!!

Alexa Robinson: This is the realest video I've seen! Your hair is YOUR hair. I support all black women. Natural does not equate to healthy hair, and relaxed hair doesn't mean unhealthy. To all my sisters out there, DO YOU BOO!!!! We are all queens. ❤

Desiree: Preach sis, I combed out my 10 year old locs and relax my hair. No regrets what so ever, I still get compliments and don’t give AF what anyone says. Besides no one was volunteering to rewtwist my hair

carla potter: I relax my hair, do not care what other people think, it's my hair not anyone else hair

Kay McKinnie: I’m natural, and every time I’m detangling my hair I think about how much easier my life could be if I permed my hair lol. But, I won’t because the chemicals in them are so unhealthy and dangerous for you. So I continue to struggle through. Lol But, this is a free country and we do all have options. Good video

Nicole Fisher: Preach it!!! I hate the European standards too but I’m team whatever the hell you want to do with your hair too! I am relaxed because it’s convenient for me. I prefer the term “processed” hair. Because I wear my natural god given hair that grows from the top of my head!

Melanated Queen: I became natural back in 2014, the reason why I went natural was because I couldn't afford to keep getting my hair done every two weeks .. I'm a single mother with 2 kids.... but very soon ,I will be going back to work .....so now I can afford going to the shop and getting a relaxer..... I did my time being natural ... more power to the women that still are

Michae Bradshaw: I loved having relaxed hair and I got many negative comments on how my hair was going to fall out when in fact it was really healthy and I maintained it well. I was forced to go natural because relaxers caused my scalp to be very tender. I just wished that natural girls weren’t as judgmental of those who have relaxed hair. We are supposed to support each other and to help build each other and not tear us down because of our personal preferences.

Chelsi Toombs: Thank you so much for saying this! This is exactly what I needed to hear! I finally did a relaxer after 5 years of being natural. I was unhappy with the way I looked and always wore wigs or a bonnet and now that I relaxed my hair I am so much happier and more confident in the way I look! I stayed natural for too long because I didn’t want people thinking I wanted to be white (I’m married to a white man). I don’t want my hair being politicized! I do what I want with my hair, so freeing

L.T. Chosen: I sometimes want to relax outta pure laziness in dealing with this thick hair...but then i think back to being relaxed and my hair was so much thinner. I love my hair how it is and its so much healthier natural..but to each his own

madphoenix135: I felt that "Yo mama is a hoe" I was relaxed for 25 years, my hair was stressed. I braided it for a year before I chopped and I'm loving my natural. It is hard, but I am going to enjoy my curls and new color until I get bored ‍♀️

MahoganySweets: I’m debating in this moment whether to go back to relaxer...couldn’t have found this video at a better time!! Thank you

Kimberly Lily: Black women can comfortably grow hair down to their knees if they really wanted to ..be it Natural or Relaxed. Just saying ..

Diana Mutale: Thank you for this. I’m relaxing it this Friday. Soooo ready to get it straight

Chocolateme77: Girl I've been thinking about getting a relaxer or curly perm because I'm bout to start new a job. I'm not going to have time to sit for hours washing and detangling. I agree with everything you are saying in this video. The natural hair community got some damn nerve. They have the audacity to bash other black women who relax their hair . But then if they have 4c kinky hair they wish they had 3c looser curls. When they see girls that have 3c curls they always ask them how can they get their hair to look like that . It's obvious they don't even like their own damn hair. But have the nerve to police somebody else who decides to change their hair style. The natural hair community is a big joke. So I say fuck em and do you.

Jacinta Sims: "You can be natural and have low self esteem" ‍♀️(i just got read) i went natural and it hurt me more than helped me as far as loving myself, and I'm still trying to make myself "love" it.. so true others opinions are so heavy and they don't even realize. I know this video is old but still relevant. Love it.

Rose Simeus: I was relaxed for so many years. I decided to go back Natural and now I’m tired of doing my hair. It’s only been 8 months completely natural. It’s too much and very thick. I’m going to cut it super short and then texlax it once it grows out. Imma do whatever I want regardless of what others say.

K Queen: GURL I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE!!!!!

Strawberry 888: I totally agree with you just two weeks ago I relax my hair and I am so glad because I can manage my hair and I am feeling great my hair stop shedding. I am going to live my life how I want it thanks for this video. I went natural because of what the world said I am done people telling what 2 do!!!!

faye roberts: Loved this video. I hope Black women will always do what they want with their own hair. I'm so sick of the hair police constantly coming for the sisters!

Pegloving whatshedo: Girl, I have been natural for over 5 years but I am seriously thinking about relaxing my hair I am tired of my natural hair! I love your truths!!

DeeMarcia22: I just relaxed my hair today after 4 faithful years of being natural…but, the last year was the worst…I think I’m staying like this for awhile…easy to manage and to each’s own for making there own decision! Nobody shouldn’t be judging anyway!

Elizabeth Maxwell: Thank you for this video! I’ve been battling whether to stay natural or go back to the relaxer. No matter how many compliments I receive, when I look in the mirror, I’m not the most beautiful version of myself anymore. I’m so over my natural hair. It doesn’t do or grow or curl the way I want it to. Watching you apply the texlax is a game changer for me. Thank you!!!!

Tena Defiant: No lies told. I agree. If you have tried going natural and you want to go back to relaxed, do it. If you're relaxed and want to go natural, do it. Don't worry about what anyone says because at the end of the day, it's YOUR hair. Do what's best for you.

Lala Love: I wear my hair in a sleek low bun almost every day . When I was natural I was ripping dragging combing my ears trying to get those waves out causing split ends . I decided to relaxed my hair and it’s so easy now .

ᶻᵃᶻᵃᵃ: THANK YOU! i’m 18 rn, and i really wanna relax my hair. i’ve been natural for 18 years and this made my day fr ❤️!

Tai Harris: I’m ready for a relaxer…. I already hate combing my hair. So you can imagine what I go through.

CeCe_is _Me: I fully agree. GREAT video! I stopped relaxing my hair because I wanted more body and volume in my hair and wanted to get away from the harsh chemicals in relaxers. So now I'm transitioning to a straight haired natural by pressing my hair every 2-3 weeks.

b4glady: I noticed people who decide to relax their hair, have type 4c hair.

Curline Green: I loyally and 100% agree with you. I had relaxer for 32 years and my hair was on my back. Went natural for two years and got frustrated..guess what..I relaxed again..You are true to yourself and your advice was on point. Thank you

mandy4369: I needed this video. I'm 24 years old. I'd been getting relaxers for half my life, and I randomly decided to shave off all of my hair in June 2019. I've never been overly attached to my hair, so there was no huge emotional moment during or afterwards. I just woke up, decided to do it, and have been natural ever since. I'm currently considering relaxing my hair because it is just a lot. It's a lot of time, a lot of energy, a lot of maintenance, and just a lot in general. People make it sound so easy to be natural, because no chemicals and minimal heat give the impression that it will somehow be effortless to take care of. Not me. Not at all. Not even a little bit. I haven't quite decided what I want to do yet, mostly because I know that I'll just shave it off if I don't like the results, but I still really needed this video. Thank you so much.

Chantel J: Really great video and message. I never thought I could just be natural until I was out of work and had nothing but time on my hands. It honestly took me almost 2 years of being natural to figure out what worked for my hair. I thought my hair was beyond manageable which is why I avoided being natural. It turned out my hair seriously lacked moisture which made wash day and de-tangling unbearable. It was an accidental journey and a 2 year struggle but I am truly grateful for it. I can't say I love myself more because I'm natural...but I really have enjoyed learning about my hair, what works, what doesn't and seeing the changes in my hair. Honestly, it was having those few months/time to start learning about my hair that helped, otherwise I would likely still be relaxed. At the end of the day you do what you can fit into your life. And sometimes that still braids and weaves for me. For others its a relaxer. In the morning, I'm the only one here combing this head.

Tina Colada: I’ve been wanting to relax my hair for months and this video gave me the push I needed Thank you!

Taryn Michelle: I'm transitioning to natural and I will be wearing it stretched 90% of the time because wearing an afro, twist out, braid out or whatever will be a special occasion for me. Something that takes a lot of time and care at night to avoid tangles. You made a really good point about straightening our hair on special occasions. I'm going to be more cognizant about when I'm damaging my hair. It seems kind of backwards to be like this is going to be the best moment of my life, let me ruin my hair strands. But I definitely think everyone should be free to do whatever they want without judgment. We can't assume everyone wants to grow their hair or have the healthiest hair possible.

wkarneh: I went natural relaxed it again then cut the relaxer and locked my hair. I went natural the first time out of curiosity. Relaxed my hair the second time because I couldn’t do the wash day like literally a wash day but I hated how my hair felt relaxed. So this time around I decided to loc it best decision I ever made.

IAmAllisonDenise: I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MESSAGE! ❤️❤️❤️

LaRicka Henderson: You just spoke to me I’m so tired of my natural hair I’ve loved it for three years now I want to be relaxed

Kimberley Knights: I'm struggling right now with my natural hair ...growing it for almost 3 years and it's too much work. I'm so close to texturing.

Aisha Yahaya: I’m thinking of relaxing my hair , I really needed this video. Thank you ❤️

Prof E Shelton: Listen, I’ve been natural for SIXC years! I’m texlaxing this week and I can’t wait!!

Yolanda Johnson: Love this video she is speaking truth concerning our hair

Once Upon A Piink City Dream: Omg! Thank you so much for this Because I was straddling the fence about texturizing my hair last week because I was thinking about what people would say, but people can't even tell the difference between my hair before or after P.S I've been natural, relaxed, colored, loc'd, weaved up, wear wigs AND every short haircut from Halle Berry to a Cesar. EVERYTHING I've done with my hair was harshly criticized. So do what you want with your hair ladies!! much love

Shaun B: This videoI’m tired of people acting like wearing weave or perming your hair makes you not love yourself or less woke tired of being policed about hair ...the beauty of being black woman is being able to switch up your hair with your energy/mood

Maria AN Matheus: Periodtt♥️✨I have healthy relaxed hair ....I freaking love it and am comfortable #Dowhatmakesuhappy I stand by my fellow black girls ...let's all love what makes us comfortable in our skins♥️

Ysheaka Davis: I had a moment in my life where I had to take a step back to see why I was making certain decision about my hair to also losing weight. So I decided that my decision would be based off of making healthier choices from the inside outside. In that order. And bless you Queen for spreading the message about freedom of choice that promotes self worth and self love. ❤

Sheena Marie: You encouraged me to text-lax my hair.... and I LOVE it! Thanks boo

winter :: I got my hair relaxed once when i was little and my relaxer is still growing out and my natural hair is coming back

T Jonez: Facts!! I’ve worn relaxers most of my life. Last January I decided to go natural. It wasn’t a easy journey but I absolutely loved to see the transformation. I have a lot of hair and its now back to a shoulder length... my plan is stay natural for another year then I’m text/laxing!!! I can’t deal

Jazz M.: For me the thing about natural hair is, I don’t want to wear my hair curly...So even if I did go natural I’d have heat damage. & a lot of natural hair “gurus” wear straight hair wigs but sit up and bash people for getting their natural hair chemically straightened. It’s hypocritical like you said!

balaia29: I miss my relaxed hair, but my edges took a beating and I was suffering with migraines. Been natural for 20 months. But I miss my creamy crack. But having edges and being migraine free is worth it

Brittany Green: Just relaxed my hair for the second time (did it a year ago before shut down) and I’ve never felt better!

ALL VIBRATIONS: Girl been through all them motions lol. Currently, relaxed and loving it. I support you. -All Vibrations

Phalyn Williams: You are hilarious. I did my bit I was natural for 10 years. LOL Say no to being a hair nazi and be comfortable with yourself. I totally agree with you and I went natural in 2013. I have 4c hair almost to my bra strap. I love being natural but I understand why it is not for everyone. I am not married to my hair and if at some point I want to change it again I will. Thanks for the encouragement.

QueenBee1118: Yup! Loved this. You can’t please people. Do what serves you.

Abb B: Natural Hair is so versatile. I’ve also seen some amazing relaxed Hair too. Most ppl can’t handle the relaxer.

Jennifer B.: Yesss bebé preach ! ❤️ do what works for you! I’m natural but I’m looking to go back to relaxers, within the next 1-2 years. I’m doing my research first tho. When I decided to go to natural, it wasn’t a choice I made one night to the other, same with going back to relaxers. I’m going in with a game plan ! Thanks for the supporting message, appreciate you

Kelly Baby: This exactly what I needed to hear!! Thank you sis

ellababy1000: Thank you for this! Well said Faye

V Marshe: I feel you girl. We are able to do whatever we want to do with our hair at any given time. Why do some people feel the need to tell you what you should and should not do, smh. Ive went natural for the second time and its been 5 years, now Im ready for a cute, relaxed, short style. Do what you feel you want to do with your hair ladies.

twirlygirlie1: Thank you for saying that!!!! ALL THAT!! I’m a natural girl now but I will NEVER let anyone else decide what I’m doing with my hair!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Sharice Bryant: Thank you for this video, for real. I have been wanting to cut my hair again but i was considering a relaxer again bc i honestly don’t like my hair when it’s short and natural. I liked my bowl cut when i had relaxed hair. I have been natural for almost 10 years and i do agree, i highly recommend all black women try it to see if it’s for them, not to be part of a movement or make a statement. I love that my mother let me and my sister choose to relax our hair and also respected our decision when we both went natural. That’s why when i have kids, if i have girls, i won’t relax their hair and they can decide when they’re older if they want to relax their hair or continue being natural. Great vid again and thank you

Lex Huggins: I relaxed my hair after being natural for 7/8 years it felt so good my hair before going natural was in its best state and very long. Going natural my hair was healthy shoulder length but I could not retain moisture or really grow my hair my ends were always messed up and I always had professional help. Fast forward with a relaxer I got 3 years ago my hair is bra strap length and growing my ends are bomb as hell no breakage. I don’t get relaxers often but when I do no regrets!

Nikita K. Wilson: The crazy thing is…I know this. I guess I just wanna hear it from someone else sometimes. Thank you Sis ❤️ #NewSubbie

Brianna Scott: I’ve been natural for the last 4yr and I honestly love it... I transitioned my moms hair first and she was natural 7yrs and she just got a relaxer and has her stylist I tell her the same thing you have to do what you like it’s your head if you like it I love it

~Daphne Amy's World~!: Rewatched this in 2021 love the positive affirmation❤

Ariel Colbert: I love your message. I would never use relaxers again, but I agree with you. People should do what they feel is best for themselves.

Csb1289: GIRL PREACH. I had to go through both to truly fall in love with my blackness, i was that ugly unwoke for YEARS about my relaxed hair so it took going natural to break that bondage. HOWEVER. Natural hair is like having a baby. Just bc you CAN doesnt mean you'll be good at it. I love my curls but I wasn't being the caretaker it needed. Too much work. GOD BLESS

L Ingram: Yup! What she said! I just went back to relaxers 2 months ago after 7 years of natural. It was just tooooo much work!

Niyanna B: Sis!!!! Thank you!!! I have been on the fence abt what I wanted to do to my hair!!! Now I’m abt to cut and texlax!! Yup I did my bid as well!!!

Veronica Williams: PREACH, SIS!!!! Thank you! I really needed to hear this❤️

Courtney Long: I looooved everything about this video!! Thank you Faye ❤️

meltastic: love the video, such a great message. I've been natural for 3yrs & i love it. cant see myself going back to relaxer. but I will NOT judge others for the decision they make that's best for them. what they eat dont make me shit. I find ppl spend waaay too much time focused on what other ppl do. policing what we should & shouldn't do. something I have noticed in the natural hair community. talk abt a shock! I break so many "rules" on a regular lol. but at the end of the day, we all just have to live our best life, the way we want - point. blank. period.

Clyte: What an awesome video! I am 48 and went natural before the 'movement' over 20 yrs ago because I was pregnant. I realized that natural hair makes my fine hair appear fuller and not so flat so i kept it. I have worn it big n natural all the way to bra length locs. I cut those off after 10 yrs now have a short tapered twa. I love your do what is best for you advise..keep inspiring my sister ❤

Nia Łong: “ I gotta live for me “ realist message by far & I’m with you girl , I rebuke the beauty standard shackles , I’ve been debating on going relaxed & I’m gonna go through with it , due to the fact that I’m tired of my natural hair & I’m tired of not being able to have my own hair out just because I don’t know what to do with the Afro puff & Nothings wrong with it , it’s just not for me . I tried being natural for 2 years & it’s like okay now , I don’t even do much with my hair , any chance I get I put it in a wig or braids & yeah I wash it but do I like washing my hair & the work that comes with it ? Nope . I commend the natural hair lovers , you guys got it lmaooo , I’m just not for it & it’s perfectly fine . Everything ( such as methods, styles choices etc ) isn’t gonna be for everyone ; because if that was the case we’d have no individuality . We have to stop tryna be like everyone else & be more of our authentic selves & not try & follow & conform to everyone else’s way . Create your own way , your own lane & own path . Do it for youu . I Love you queens & kings & stay safe

Simplistically Digital: Thanks for this message. I flip flop between natural and relaxed every 5 years. I'm ready to relax again for a while.

Jasmine Nicole Cogdell: That “yo mama’s a hoe” ‍♀️ took me all the way out I LOVE IT! You are hysterical! I’m binge watching your videos!

Tiffany Nichols: You do you! Everyone needs to do whatever makes them happy and feel beautiful.

Laura C: You dont even know how much I needed this ! Ive been natural for 3 years and I cant do it anymore ! I want to relax my hair so bad but I felt so "guilty" but you're right! Im going to do me ! Im going to get that relaxer sis !!!!

Illyce Carlew: Girl thank you for this video. I’m struggling. Natural 7 years. Recently cut it & i wish I hadn’t!! Short natural hair is not the same as long natural hair depending on texture. Even when I’m dressed & cute I feel “off” cause I’m not happy w/my hair. My happiness is important... feeling good is important to me ... fugg whoever judges me
