I am the owner of (Irene's Braids) located in Duluth, GA. I'm always accepting new clients. I work out of my own private Salon Suite.

Hi guys it's irene's braids and i am back with another video, so today's video is going to be a little different. I am doing a kids tutorial on how to do knotless, braids. So, of course, i'm going to show you what kind of products and what kind of tools we'll be using for our braids today. Don'T forget that you can buy your irene sprays for precision combs three four fifteen dollars link will be in the bio and you can also buy your irene's braids hair bonnet. This is a braid bonnet, silk braid bonnet with an elastic band that holds really good when their kids are sleeping at night or an adult so either or i have them in different colors and they're all going to be the same length and they are your irene's Braids hair bonnets so, like i said, everything will be in the link in the bio to purchase all right guys so you're going to need three bundles of braiding hair to start off your braids. I went ahead and lined up the hair on the chair. I am doing this video from home on my daughter, of course, i'm on my maternity leave. I am currently eight months pregnant, so i'm home now and i won't be able to do any more adult videos at this time, but i decided hey. Why not do some kid tutorials, while i'm home on maternity leave, so i'm going to show you guys how to do some knotless braids here so to begin my braids i'm going to just go ahead and just complete these the first row your first row once you Should want to have at least three braids for your first row of knotless braids and, as i continue on, i will show you um how to install them. I will actually break it down detail by detail and show you how to install the knotless braids. So i went ahead at the first row just to kind of get things going here. My daughter is pretty patient but i know she's a kid, so i don't want to make her sit for too long. So i went ahead and started some all right. So now we've done our three at the back, we're going to go ahead and part out our u-shape part. I pretty much call it a u-shaped part, because that's what it would look like to curve the braids and make your parting um the way we need it to be, so that the hair can fall nice and flat. So you're going to go ahead and clean up. Your part and use your hair products and, of course, your irene sprays, precision comb to get the parts perfected. All right we'll be back to discuss how to install the braid neck. Okay, you guys i'm going to go ahead and start my first knotless braid. As far as demonstration to show you, so what i'm going to do here is i'm splitting the hair up to where i can add the braiding hair in between the two my index finger and then my thumb, so those two fingers i'm going to use that top Piece bring it down and then slide my index finger through her hair to secure the piece of braiding hair that i'm using and then also to make my knotless braid. Okay, i'm going to take another piece of braiding hair and i'm going to add it up. Underneath my index finger and my thumb and i'm going to continue to braid it in to the hair to complete the braid, and then i will show you this again in another step of this video, i was able to slow it down more and just kind of Show you what i did so that way, you kind of understand it better. Also, don't forget that i have many many many tutorials on how to do this size, um, knotless braids. So if you're not getting it on this video, it's okay, i do have other videos and i will link them in the description box below for you to see how to complete your first knotless braid. So i'm going to show you again in hopes that the next braid would be more beneficial for you and, if not, i have other videos where it's broken down in better detail for you. Okay, so let's just go ahead and continue watching until i get to the next braid that will be more beneficial to you. Okay, so here is a good start to pretty much explaining how to do it, so i have them sectioned off into three pieces. You see that three, okay, i'm going to use my index finger and my thumb finger. You see where i'm holding that braid i'm going to push that braid towards the left and i'm going to grab on to that left. Braid. You see that grab it. Then i'm going to add the braiding hair through my index and my thumb finger, i'm going to hold it tight, i'm going to pull down that top layer and i'm going to braid it through. This will not make sense to some of you. If you are not a braider okay, so it would be kind of confusing, because if you're not used to braiding and you're only used to the beginning stages, then you may not get this advanced and braiding of knotless braids. However, please understand that practice makes perfect, so it didn't take me long to pick up this new trend, because i am a braider. I do this for a living. However um, if you are not, you want to continue to keep practicing and just keep repeating that same. That same um, step over and over and over and i'm sure, you'll get it, and i always suggest that you use a mannequin head. I love using mannequin heads because you can always mess up as many times as you want apply the pressure that you need on a fake mannequin head versus a client's head or your child's head all right. So i'm going to go ahead and keep using my precision. Comb to clean up my parts, i'm going to go ahead and make her a middle part just for styling purposes if she chooses to wear it into a middle part or we can wear into a side part. But, however, you will kind of see me go over. This part a couple of times, because i, like my parts to be perfect and in order for you to perfect the perfect part, you must have good product and you must have a good comb that is very important to have a good comb without a good comb. With a sharp tip you're not going to have the best parts, that's just bottom line so, like i said, if you would like to purchase, you can use the link in the description box. They are going three four fifteen dollars and you can get your irene's braids. Combs in the mail all right guys, let's go ahead and continue watching. We are coming down to the final stages of what this completed style would look like alright. Thank you. Let'S continue watching so okay. So, as you can see here, i am tucking her natural hair. So i'm actually taking where her natural hair starts and i'm rolling it behind the braiding hair. So that way, i can hide it that way, you don't see the natural hair poking through the braids. I know. Sometimes i hear a lot of my own clients say yeah when i went to this other braider, the braids were nice, but i mean my hair was just poking out of the braids within a week or two well in order for your hair. Not to do that. I always roll and tuck it, so they always have a better experience when they come to my salon suite because i'm always the roll and tuck braider. I believe in doing that, because the braids look nicer and then also you don't have to see your natural hair through the braid all right. So i'm going to pretty much just give you a nice zoom in of what the knotless braids look like they're. Looking good they're pain-free attention free just a cute style to wear for little girls um. This is my little dog. His name is general. He'S such a sweet boy, he's one years old, just a big one-year-old boy, hey my tonka boy! That'S my tonka boy! All right! Guys so i'm gon na go ahead and finish the opposite side. That'S our last row and then here i'm just showing you how to add the beads and the rubber bands into a container. So that way, they don't flip all over the floor or you know, fall out off the table. Just makes it easier. I'M raising off the hair, the excess hair that we don't need. I actually use hair that i actually use on my clients. I did not buy kid braiding hair. They do have this hair, that's already pre-stretched and shortened up for children, because i am a professional braider. I just went ahead and used my own stock that i had available and i'm just raising off what i don't need. Should you not know how to do what i'm doing here? This might be a little bit too advanced for some of you just go ahead and buy the hair, that's already kid friendly and stretched pre-stretch and also cut down for children uh. If you get that, i would say roughly get about four packs, because sometimes they're a little stingy with the hair so get about four packs just to have enough. I use three packs of braiding hair because of course we did the braids larger and i wanted to have that thickness for her braids. That way they can fill in nicely. So i went ahead and braided down one braid, just to kind of show you how? I add the beads: you can use a bead stick um i prefer not to because the braids are thicker. So sometimes you can struggle trying to get that bead stick to work through and push those braids up on the braid. So i don't do it. I just use my hands, but if you need to use a bead, stick go ahead and get one. So you i'm not going to show you what that looks like on the camera, because i didn't buy one. So if you need to use a bead, stick go ahead and get you one other than that. I just folded the hair at the tip and then i push the braids on i'm gon na i mean i'm sorry the beads on i'm only gon na do about five to six beads um. I don't care about color coordination, she just loved the beads and she wanted to have the colors um in her hair. So we're just gon na go ahead and just throw these on here. Uh. You know: hey, i'm eight months pregnant. I barely wanted to do the style, but i did this for you guys, so you guys can see how i do my children's hair at home um and i'm gon na go ahead and secure it with a rubber band. So that's pretty much how i do this um beaded look! Okay, all right! So i'm gon na go ahead and take my scissors and just take off the excess hair that we don't need, be careful not to pop the rubber band and then clean up around the bottom of base of that bead to make sure there's no hair there. There. You go and then last but not least, once i completed all of the braids, i dipped them all in a cup of hot water. I did dip them with the beads on okay make sure the water is not too hot. It needs to be just hot enough, but not too hot and um. This is a look that you will have, so this is my eight-year-old. I have two children eight-year-old and a ten-year-old, and i'm currently, like i said, eight months pregnant with our third child. So we are not sure what we are having yet so once i give birth i will find out if it's a boy or a girl, um so yeah. This is pretty much the outcome of my daughter's hair. She loves them. I think this is such a cute style. It just is just really a cute style, very quick and easy. It didn't take me no more than an hour and 30 minutes to do this, not long besides editing, you know and chopping up a video for you guys. You know it doesn't take long to do so. Hopefully you guys like the tutorial um. Thank you guys again. So much for watching. Don'T forget you can follow me on instagram at irene's. Braids um, don't forget to subscribe, don't forget to hit that notification button for more videos. I will be doing lots and lots of kids videos. So look stay tuned for those on sundays. I'Ll be posting kid tutorials on sundays. So here's my little cutie with her little photo shoot. We did outside sorry. The photos are sideways. I didn't take them through a video, so this is what we have all right, guys thanks so much for watching. I will see you in my next video bye, guys
