Hello. Okay, so you guys it's just welcome back to my channel if this is your first time here, welcome subscribe down below yah-yah-yah to follow me on instagram, all that fun stuff. So, more importantly, I usually don't like to hop on the YouTube trends or the the Instagram trends. There was a video circulating, maybe a month or two or three ago, I'm not sure of this young lady forgot her name. I will post post it right here, trying like jheri curl juice, her as pearl juice on her hair, and I was like what in the world is this foolery? What is that, at the time I thought she was actually giving herself like a jheri curl using like the jheri curl, perm or whatever, and I was like I'm not about to watch this, but then I start seeing my YouTube friends. Do it? I see a happy girl, happy girl, aka Raina do it. She can do it. I was like okay, fine, I'm gon na try it now. My hair is a little different than then a lot of people's videos that I watched. I'M a little more rough around the edges. You know what I'm saying so, whatever I just decided to try it here, it is y'all. I went to the store. I bought this doggone s, curl juice, curl and wave activator blah blah, and I was just like. Oh, my gosh is this gon na mess up my hair? It'S just safe. I don't know I thought, but we're gon na figure it out together we're gon na see if this stuff works on the on the type for so I just washed my hair and conditioned it. I'M planning leave-in conditioner in yet I just kind of been letting it air dry, I'm using the honey, hydrate, leave-in conditioner right here and all the products that I'm using girl. I know you go fathers, young girl. I know I know there'll be links in my description box, where you guys can get them so I'm gon na first start off with believin. Let'S put you know a little base on my hair before I put this foolery in my hair YouTube made me: do it period YouTube? Maybe do it I'm sorry? Oh, we love to see it products not even close to soaking into my low porosity strands for those of you who keep on asking me if you can't tell I'm low porosity the lowest of the low these products just do not soak into my hair at all. All right give me a minute: I'm gon na work this in and then I'll be right back. This is really the best I could do. I tried I really did all right. So now, let's get on to the fun stuff, I'm gon na section my hair into four sections like so love that for me and now it's time so I've seen everyone pairing this activator with a gel on top. So, what's the hair store - and I was like - where is the extreme wet line gel? Are you guys all just buying up all the extreme wet line gel? Is that what you're doing we're just not gon na talk about it? Okay, we're not going to talk about it; you guys cut it out. We'Re not gon na talk about it. So now that we've got that out of the way, let's start with a piece in the back, we're start with a small piece, doesn't good guys all right. It'S first, this is water: okay, brush detangle Dedmon, whatever. I know why this isn't sitting well with my soul, all right. Let'S do this! You got a little anti frizz. It has olive oil argan oil is paraben, free, mm-hmm, sure, hmm, okay, so slide this in. Let'S put a little more okay, so that's done almost absolutely nothing for my hair, so we're gon na go over it with the eco styler gel and see if that causes any magic. As you can see, I've been very quiet because I just I don't have anything to say, but maybe these two together want to cause some type of world shifting coral polished and we can carry on okay, okay, huh. I wasn't really expecting that. I also have not used eco styler gel in a very long time, so I kind of forgot how good it was. So why don't we stop using this? Again, I don't know oh, and this was a guy. This is type of guy. I would go for one who has definition and knows where it's going in life. I like that. Okay, before we get excited we're gon na keep going, because you know my hair, just those different things all the time, depending on what section we're in. But I just don't get it because this curl activator stuff feels like water on my hair. There'S definitely no way at all. That would use it by itself. No, never! Never! No! But when paired with this eco styler gel zero frizz, it's forgivable, it's forgivable! All right use a little more this time. Let'S really go crazy with it. You know go deep in there and it feels just like water. In my hair, oh wait hold on wait, wait, wait, wait a minute layaway.we! It wait a minute hold on I'm putting a little bit more. I guess I wasn't using enough on the first one, but this looks a lot better. Whoa hey, put on you'll, see what just the curl activator is doing. Oh, my goodness, oh my god, it looks so good. Oh my gosh, I know youtubers are always like well, I wasn't expecting this, but no I really. I really was not expecting this. This is just the curl activator alone right after I just said I wouldn't use it alone. I mean I'm still not gon na use it a lot. Let'S not get crazy. You know: there's not, let's not get out of hand here, but I'm putting the gel over right now. Oh, my gosh that looks good looky here all right, so I'm gon na do two things so one I'm gon na come out of this shirt because I'm like two seconds away from flashing you guys every time I get all close up new shirts, I'm going to Finish this back section really quick and then we're gon na come back and regroup all right, so the back is done. It looks really really really really good. You can see that I'm so surprised. I really am. I didn't think this was gon na. Do anything. For my hair, because it's just a lot more coarse in the videos that I was watching earlier - so I was like I don't know if this is gon na work out well, but it seems to be working out pretty well for me, no arguments here we're gon Na see how it all works together right now, okay, guys I'm done with this half of my hair, and I am just I'm sure I have no worry. It just looks so good. Do you? Are you guys seeing what I see all right is the camera bogus? Oh wow, that's uh! That'S some courage! If you ever seen it, we just got ta, be real with ourselves. So this is my hair with no product at all, just a leave-in conditioner - and this is my hair with the S curl activator and the eco styler gel. So all right, so what I'm gon na do? I'M just gon na go throughout this side of my hair and finish it off camera, really quick and then we'll be back and then we will go from there. Okay, so my hair is all done. Oh my gosh! It looks so good you guys, I'm sure I think it looks so good. Here'S the bag. I don't know what it looks like bear with me today. I think it looks extremely good right now, so well let this air dry do y'all see this come on. Somebody come on hmm, okay, all right so I'll, be back tomorrow, hey guys! So it's the next day I haven't done anything to my hair. All I've done is just take it out of my satin bonnet. I was laying on flat on my head all night, but I have to say I'm very pleased with the definition. Yes, but mostly like the moisture in my hair, like my hair feels like pillow, soft and just moisturize zero crunch, no flakes, I don't see a flake in sight, not a flake in sight, so yeah. My hair feels extremely soft. It'S a little concerning because when my hair is super soft and like not much hold, I don't know how long my wash and gos will last. So that's why I'm not gon na manipulate it too much today, I'm not gon na stretch it like. I normally do. I'M literally just gon na leave it like this and let it grow over time like they look. So good love this for me. So my final thoughts of this s-curl jheri curl, whatever product loved it, I will definitely try this product again chef's ecostyler, for coming through for your girl, when I couldn't find any more wet line. I used to use it on my natural hair before I got a perm, and after I did a big chop recently (went back to natural), it was the first thing I went in search of. Everyone with natural hair needs to get that good old curl activator. These modern products do not compare!
treclub1913: It's so crazy as someone who was a kid during the Jheri curl 80s days to see people using this product on their natural hair. Who knew? Jheri curls and S curls were chemical processes (almost like 'not all the way relaxed'...texturizer type methods) and the activators were to help you keep the curls moisturized throughout the day. It is hilarious that it works on natural hair and people didn't need the process part. Oh the 80s...

Emeth: Hey Jess, the young lady that started this Faye in the City, has low porosity hair also and she places a plastic cap on her head for about 10 minutes or if you have a bonnet dryer you can sit under it for 5 - 10 minutes after you put your leave-in conditioner on. Let me tell you I tried it and it made all the difference in my low porosity hair. The amount of moisture my hair was able to get just from leaving the plastic cap on after applying my leave-in was unlike anything I had ever had. My leave-in was not sitting on top of my hair when I removed the plastic cap.

Yolanda Westbrook: Always section your hair when applying leave in conditioner and any other hair products like moisturizers and oils. That’s the best way to get the product through your hair. Then use a wide tooth comb to spread product to cenotaph through each section.

Tara P: Just thought I’d share…The best results I’ve gotten from this combo was to apply the eco styler gel first (olive oil works best FOR ME), define the curl, then define with the worlds of curls activator on top. I have to define the curls (finger coil) in very, very small sections. This process takes me about 2hrs on my 4-5 inch long hair, but my results are so worth it. I do this process in the AM and let it air dry throughout the day. At night I put on a plastic cap. In the morning I spritz with my oil/water combo, fluff the curls and go. This routine lasts me a good two weeks with me refreshening once or twice in certain worn sections with only the activator. My hair is 3C in the front, sides, and kitchen. It’s 4B in the crown (dry area) and it works FOR ME. Remember, All hair types do not respond the same. Diet, water intake, etc. have a say in your results. I am a DIY natural since 2008 but did a big chop in 2020 because was trying locks and decided not to continue that journey (for now…lol).

Sarah Boison: I recommend using the honey leave in and then using a heated conditioning cap for like 10-15 mins. Helps the product go into my low porosity hair. I had THE SAME reaction as you when I tried this a few months ago. I use the xtreme gel but GIRLLLLLL my hair stays moisturized and the curls be popping

Color Purple: I've been doing this for years on my granddaughter's hair, she now 11 year old, did all the natural hairstyle on my daughter's when they were kids they are now 43 and 36. The only different is as hairstylist back in the 70's we would twist and set on rollers, it comes out much more silky with the tension and for length we would twist and put the twist through the roller either standing up on it's base or lying flat depending on the desired style, lol. But I love that my beautiful young gifted and black people are rocking their nature hair.
