Effortless Synthetic Headband Wig Haul | All Under $20 | Outre Penny, Cecily, Mayde Beauty

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another video in today's video. I am going to be trying out three headband wigs for you guys, um. I don't think i've ever done like a hair review on my channel before but um. I have a lot of wigs and i've been recently getting into headband wigs lately, so i thought that i would go ahead and try these on with you guys. I have two from outright, i think, and then one is from made beauty. So i picked these both up from the recommendation of um. I think her name is hearts cake. Cakes90 here on youtube. You guys probably know her if you watch wig uh reviews, so i loved how both all of these looked on her. So i decided to pick them up so and i have a trip coming up, so i want to see which one i want to take with me. So i'm using my arkani coil care. I don't know if you can see that get down below. I have this. One - and i also have the she is bomb one, but i felt like it was one of them that was breaking me out. I don't know which one so i had stopped using that one and i saw an improvement. So this is the one that i use now, so i have my um wig grip on. I got this on amazon and i'll link that down below too, but i haven't really used it to be honest, but now i started to realize my edges are getting shorter. So i am going to try and stop using um, i'm going to try and stop using my the combs and the wicks, because those have been just taking my hair out. I don't like about the arkani uh edge control. Is that it's scented? I don't remember this. She is bomb one having a scent to it, but then, with the she is bomb one. I find that it kind of flakes on me. So i don't like that, like you know like the next day and everything i'll have like a lot of white flakes and residue. So i need to get one of those little wraps to kind of like put over my hair. So it sets. But i haven't got around to ordering one okay, so let me kind of get all those little edges back under this cap. I use the these little uh. What do you call them instead of the the stocking caps? I use the nets because i just find it's like a little bit looser and more breathable, so i'm just going to use this little wig grip for uh um, just to kind of get those to stay down. That did a pretty good job. So i bought this on amazon. I will try to link it below. I haven't really worn this out yet just because i felt like when i tried it on at first. I felt like it added so much bulk to my hair, initially like underneath the headband wig, but we're gon na try it out, because my edges have been getting shorter and shorter and they need all the help that they can get. The first wig that i want to try out this is cecily, and this is also from outre. So i have this wig already in dr30 and i love it to death. I actually am waiting on another one in that color to come in, because i wore the one that i have completely out. It is sorry, i'm blinding you guys with this plastic um i wore it completely out for the past. I want to say like four months or so maybe even longer than that since, like christmas um, so that is one of my favorite wigs. So when i saw it on this, i figured why not try it in the natural color um. I don't know if i said, but let me show you the card, so this is what the stock card looks like right here, and i picked this one up in a number two and they have all of those colors that you can choose from um there on The card, let me pull up how much this was so the outra cecily this one was 13.93, so yeah. I think you can even find it cheaper online, but it's it's pretty affordable, okay, so this is how she looks straight out of the pack. It'S i don't, honestly, i don't think it's that shiny, like it's looking really shiny on camera, but i think if you just hit this with some um dry, shampoo, real, quick, i think you'll be fine like it's really pretty. I love the body weight of it. Um and the color is not too black. I really like that. It'S like a chestnut brown. If you look, let me see if i can get up close yeah, so it it's looking black, but it's actually like a nice chest bright, not a chest not like natural brown color. So i think it'll go really well with my edges and it's really soft for the inside construction you're gon na at the top or at the front you get two combs at the side and then at the back. You got one long comb and then you also have um adjustable straps. I bought these on beauty of newyork.com the stock card. It does say that you can use heat on this. I think yeah. It says you can use a flat iron on this with temperatures up to 400, so i think that's a really good plus. I didn't know that let's try her on okay. So with this you guys know with a lot of like lower end synthetic wigs. They don't come with that pre-attached um headband. So this is how the front looks you can see. The cap is really comfortable. I would say i have a pretty large size head like anytime. I order wigs. I always try to order um a large cap. If i can, because i get headaches really easily - and i would say like this - is really comfortable - let me turn around for you guys. You can see the back. She is very long, so that is where it comes to in the middle of my back. Like probably i don't know, 24 inches, 24 or 28, i don't know i'm pretty short, so i'm 5'2. So this might not be that long on you. Let me show you how it looks from the front, so that is where it comes to you really like this color, you guys. It feels super soft and silky now um, since i have already lived with this wig in a just in a different color for the last uh like four months i'll tell you guys a little bit about the wear of it um. Obviously, it's synthetic hold on. Let me put on a headband, i'm tripping, let's use this one. It has some of the colors that are in my shirt, like i was saying with the the outre synthetic line, especially this one. It was good for me. I would say for like the first three months and i didn't wear it like every day or anything like that to work. I really wore it sparingly in my opinion, because i don't wear wigs every single day, but after a while, i use a lot of water on my wigs um, especially with this like wavy texture. My favorite thing to do is just like wet my like my um plastic brush and then just kind of go through this. So i don't know if that's what messed this wig up. But after like uh four months or so it's starting to get like really coarse and rough at the edges or at the ends now and really tangly like. I can't even wear that wig out anymore without like getting a whole bunch of mattes at the back and it's just an absolute mess. So this wig is pretty, but it's not going to last you a very long time um. But if you take really good care of it, i think you can make it last if you're alternating your wigs, like i'm, not gon na lie, i was wearing it pretty often like not every day, but i was wearing it like. It was my go-to wig. So, that's probably why it got really messed up, but um, i'm gon na try to revive it. I'M gon na try, i'm gon na. Do a video on that um using fabric softener and boiling water to see. If i can like fix it and like get this um like softness back because when you first get it out of the box, it is so soft and silky and then after a while it kind of gets really plasticky and like coarse feeling so um. That'S the only con that i can say with this wig like coming out of the box. There'S no smell you honestly, you can wear it. You don't have to like it's just ready to go right out of the box. Like i mean look at this, i love as far as shedding goes. I don't think it's too bad. I feel like the more you wear it, though it's going to shed, i was kind of rough with mine like i would really comb it through, but i like how it has these like really shorter layers. Can you see that, like it, has these really shorter layers towards the front that kind of like frame your face, and then it has the longer ones to the side? I think they really did a good job you're. Sorry, if you see me looking over here, i have my um my screen, where i can see myself in there to make sure i'm looking in frame for you guys. I would love to pick this wig up in a human hair. I think it would be awesome if i could wear it more often and um get it to last longer because, but you know at 13, i said 13 right. You can pick you up like a few of these. If you want, like, i said, because you know i repurchased the one in dr30 already because i love it so much and that's the good thing about synthetic is, you can just keep buying them. They'Re really cheap they're, only 13 bucks so, and i think that this one is not wildly synthetic like. As you can see, it's not really that shiny, like it has almost a yaki texture to it. I would say like not really yaki, but it does look like it's not super silky straight. You know what i'm saying when i get my um outra in the dr 30 i'll show you guys that one okay. So next up i have the outra penny and i have this one. In dr30, so she's got a little bit of a highlight to her. You can see she's. Oh she's got a lot of color, i'm really getting into the color of 30 right now for summer. I just feel like it like really brightens up my face and um. I really been liking. This color on me so same thing with the other one. Actually, this one's a little bit different, this one has the lancome at the front. It'S a pretty long comb and then it has one long comb at the back and adjustable straps, i'm like very iffy when it comes to these curly wigs, because i'm so short that sometimes if it has like way too much volume. I just look like a big. Like cloud of hair just walking around because it kind of just like swallows my whole frame, because i'm so short - but this is cute - see how this color just really like livens up my face like right out of the box. It feels really soft um. As far as up here, i would say it's pretty flat, like the only reason it looks so. Puffy is because of the hair being like so voluminous, but it lays pretty flat. It'S not that bulky up here actually break her out a little bit, because her curls are just a little bit like too uniform for me to where it looks too fake. You know it just looks a little too fake. For me, it feels really light like the whole wig as a whole. It feels really light it's not heavy at all, which is good. I think if it were human hair, this would be a pretty heavy wig, especially being this thick. I might have to thin this wig out because it's it's pretty, but it's just a lot. I don't know i feel like mariah carey or something like am i tripping? It'S a lot. Let me try to do a half up half down situation, how it all looks at the back. It'S like right to my bra, strap like right to my bra, strap at the back and, like i said, i'm 5'2, that's a little bit better. I just wanted it to be a higher kind of ponytail. I don't know girl, i think it's cute. I just think i'm gon na have to thin this hair out a little bit. I think it's still a pretty wig um nonetheless, like the curls are really pretty what it kind of looks like all in a ponytail. Let me show you guys the back. I don't know what it's looking like back there. You probably can see my wig grip. How does that look? Probably if you wear one of those headbands that like go all the way around, not one of these ones. It says that you can use heat on this one as well. So maybe if i maybe straighten some of these curls out a little bit, i don't want to ruin it though, but maybe if i straighten them out a little bit and kind of relax them down. It will won't be so wild on me, but i think it's cute, like even in this little ponytail situation. This is cute that penny was 1693, so i paid 16.93 for penny, and this is in dr30, like i said, all right, let's get on to the last one okay, so i have the last wig here and i don't know y'all. This seems like it has a small cap, but we're gon na we're gon na find out. So this is from made beauty - and this says it's a full cap used as a ponytail or wig. This is in the style, miss fancy and i have her in bo4340. Some highlights at the bottom, okay yeah, so you can see it's got some like copper, cinnamon going on at the bottom, and then it has pretty much like all a 1b at the top inside. It has one long comb at the front and the inside construction looks like the other two and then it has one comb at the back. I don't see any adjustable straps. These are pretty shorter length than the other two yeah, so this uh cap is definitely smaller. Oh wait a minute. There is a drawstring there's a drawstring here. I didn't see it, but y'all can see how slick down i have my hair. So i mean it's not that puffy, i wouldn't say it does have a hump at the back, but you can kind of get away with that that, if you're not wearing like a straight wig, if you're wearing like a see what i'm saying like it's kind of Small because, like i have it on, but i'm struggling to get it all the way down like if you wanted to leave out um it's coming to like right here, where it's not wanting to go down any further. So it's a smaller wig cap. It doesn't feel tight, though, like it feels really nice and loose. It'S just you're gon na have to have a little bit more um leave out with this one, which is fine. Let me put this one to the side. Let me put her off to the side. A little bit see how that looks so yeah either you'd have to have a lot of leave out on this one or you're gon na wear like a thicker headband, because it's definitely smaller. I like it like this. Oh this is cute. I, like the um, the cinnamon color is not too much like that. Last one was a bit overwhelming this one is a nice subtle way to just kind of like. Oh, she has some highlights like it's really cute. Let me back up to show you the back. So this is where it comes to me: it's like right to my bra, strap so middle of my back. I'M just trying to get flinch i'll see like the variety of the highlights and stuff in there, let's put on a headband with this one, okay. So what do we think? I really like this one. I think this one is gon na, be probably like my go-to out of all three of these. I think this is the easiest one and it looks the most natural to me like this could be my hair. You know what i'm saying like it doesn't look wildly fake. It doesn't look overly synthetic either. It'S not very shiny at all, like i don't even feel like. I need to use any dry shampoo in this. Only con that i could find is that, like i said, the cap is really small, so that's kind of that kind of sucks, but i think i can overlook it. I would just have to wear like headbands like this, where um they're a little bit thicker, so they kind of hide that bit of leave out or if you wanted to have more leave out um. You can. I feel, like this. One is going to be my summer go-to because it's less hair than that last one, it's not as long. It'S really lightweight, and i think this is really good for the summer. You guys yeah. This is really good for this summer. Let'S put her up in a ponytail or maybe we can put it up - half up half down um. I am getting a little bit of tangling, actually a lot of tingling, because it's more of a curly wig than straight. So i can see this getting really tangly. Really quickly, i think you have to be very gentle when you manipulate this wig, because i can see it getting really like matted up real quick can't do these little half up half downs properly, you guys get the get the gist. It'S a little bit of a thinner wig, so that's why it doesn't look as full yeah. This is cute. This is cute. I really like this one. Let me, let me tell you how much i bought this one for okay, so this one was only 14.94. So really affordable. I feel like you guys, cannot beat these wigs um they're just gon na last a season. So don't expect more than that. To be honest, and like i'm fine with that, because i only paid 15 for it, it's gon na last me throughout the summer, probably and then, when the fall comes i'll, probably have to uh repurchase it and i'm fine with that. It was only 15 versus paying um upwards of over a hundred dollars for human hair, and i feel like this actually passes for human hair. I mean it doesn't look synthetic to me so, like i have said, i have human hair, wigs that look just like this. So i think they did a really good job with it super cute. You guys um. This is really lightweight and i can see myself just like throwing it up into a ponytail and going let's do that yeah. I think it looks fine at the back um grant. I can't see it my little wig grip is strong, i don't think so. I don't feel it so i think you're good um, so there you have it. I hope i informed you guys a little bit about these headband wigs if you were on the fence or if you just were on the lookout for some for yourself for this season. I hope this helped you out.
