Wig Review: "Star Quality" By Raquel Welch | Chiquel

Hi everyone! I need you to stop what you're doing right now and listen to this. I'M pretty sure i just found one of my new favorite wigs, i'm not kidding i'm amanda from chaquel, and i want to introduce you to the real star of the show here, which is the wig i'm wearing called star quality by raquel welch, so stick around. If you want to learn a little bit more about her, so let me first start off by saying that this is a wig that when i looked at it online, it's one that i've just glanced over and not given a second thought just because the stock photos That they have of it are not very appealing to me. It makes it seem like the bangs are like smushed against the face. It looks really stick straight and it just doesn't. I just didn't like it. However, here i am, it is on my head and i i love it so i have learned a lesson: don't knock it till you try it because here i am and i'm i'm obsessed with it. So this wig is straight. It'S textured, it's wispy. It'S kind of funky, it's one that you can like sleek down to make nice and neat and pretty. But you can also rough it up a little bit and it kind of gives it that extra, textured and wispy kind of rocker look. You can take the bangs and make them messy in front if you want, or you can swoop them to the side - there's lots of options for this wig, and this is why video reviews are really great, because just a picture or two is not going to give. You, the full effect of what a wig can really do, but here i am showing you all of the fun things that this one week can do and it's amazing i'm going to do a quick uh spin around. So you can see the wig from all the angles all right, so the features on this wig are that it has a lace front. It'S really nice, it's just temple the temple and it's extremely natural. Looking um. Not only does it have a lace front, it also has a monofilament part, so note that it's not a full monofilament top. It'S only the part, so you cannot part it wherever you want. It'S really just in that one section, so the color i'm wearing in star quality is called glazed, vanilla and the color code, for it is r23s plus. So the 23 is a platinum color. As you can see, it's a very, very cool, platinum blonde and then the s plus at the end of that color code, just basically means that there are some highlights and low lights from the crown and the front just to add extra depth to the wig i'll. Come up closer, so you can see uh the coloring a bit better. Just note that, right now i am using a ring light. So the shine that you do see on the wig is not an accurate representation of how shiny this wig actually is. It is definitely not as shiny as what you see. It is a synthetic wig though so, overall synthetic wigs are going to be a little bit shinier and they are going to reflect light a bit more than human hair wigs. So if you ever have a wig that is a little shinier, a good solution is to get some dry shampoo and spray it over. The wig and it'll help mat down that shine for you. I find that often lace front. Wigs can be a little bit itchy at times, but this lace front is extremely comfortable it i almost was unsure at first if it was a lace front, because i could barely feel anything, it's really comfortable to put on i'm going to take it off now. So you can see the inside of the cap, so here's that lace front i was talking about. It goes from temple to temple and then here is just the monofilament part: it's not the full top. It'S just the part. It has a wefted back. So that means that the hair is sewn on into rows and it has kind of holes in between each weft that creates more airflow. It has velvet ear tabs which are really soft and comfortable, and then it has these velcro there. It goes these velcro adjustable straps at the bottom to help loosen and tighten the wig if you're into styling your wigs, just to add a little bit of extra fun to your day. I'Ll show you what it's like, when you put this one up into a cloth or do just like a half a pack down for you really quick. So, like i said earlier, i just love how versatile this wig is. It can be sleek and straight. It can be textured and funky. Looking the bangs can go swept to the side. You can bring them in front for that messy rocker.
