How Long Should A Synthetic Wig Last? | Chiquel

Guys welcome back to the chico youtube it's ellie here and if you've clicked on today's video, then you are probably wondering how long should a synthetic wig last you - and i am here to fill you in on all those details. So they say a synthetic wig should roughly last you between four to six months of everyday use. It also depends on the care you're, giving your wig. If you are washing it properly, treating it properly putting the right products on it, then your synthetic wig in my eyes should last you more to the six month. Part um, that's with everyday use, um so yeah. I would say more six to eight months. I'Ve got wigs that i've had for about three years and they are still in perfect condition, but that is down to one reason and that main reason is something i would highly highly recommend you do with synthetic wigs and human hair wigs, and that is rotating. Your wigs, so i have about five to six wigs on a cycle. This means that i won't be wearing the same wig every day, so i'm getting double triple technically six times the length of use that it should have. So i cycle between human hair, wigs and synthetic wigs. My synthetics really do last me, like. I said i've got one that i've had for about three, maybe three and a half years now, and it's still in my cycle um. I think they put these lifespans on wigs when it's down to not proper care. So, as long as you are ensuring that you are treating your wigs the best way possible, not using heat and you're really looking after your synthetic fibers, then they will last you a long time. Also by having your wigs on cycle means they're not getting as much wear time. Storing your wigs properly will help massively either keeping them in their bag in a hair net or having them on a wig head. That is going to really make sure you're getting the most out of your wig. However, i would say with proper care, you can get a lot longer out of that.
