My Favorite Wigs Of 2020 | Top 10 Wigs With Mini Reviews | Marlene'S Wig & Chat Studio

Hi everyone welcome back to marlene's wig and chat studio, we're at the end of the year, and i thought the timing was absolutely perfect to show you which have been my favorites for 2020.. I have reviewed all of these wigs, so i'm not going to talk too much about them. I'M just going to give you a little snippet on what i loved in case. You missed that video, but if you want to see the full review it will be here on my channel before i start. I do want to mention that not all of these wigs were new in 2020.. These are new to me in 2020, some such as ryder that i'm wearing right now was new in 2020, but i thought i would do this video, just as i do on my beauty channel. When i do my my favorites for the year, it's not necessarily products that were brand new in that year, but products that are new to me and that i have loved. So that's exactly what i'm doing with my weight. I just rather i'm going to talk about favorites. I want to talk about wigs that i have actually really worn for an extended period of time, all right without further ado. Let'S get started with the first one, and this is writer, as i mentioned, writer is new for 2020 from estetica. I have writer in the color caramel kiss and i just fell in love with this easy style. This is my ride or die wig. I have done most of my, if not all, of my road trips in ryder, i have traveled from kansas to north carolina and then again from north carolina to florida wearing ryder, the fibers just stay so nice. I have washed rider quite a few times. Ryder has a left, monofilament side, part and a lace front. It is just such an easy style, and you know when you're in the car for an extended period of time like two or three days, you want something that really will hold up. No, no heat friendly, fibers, nothing like that ryder just fit the bell held up beautifully during all of my road trips. I love this one. This is mellow by estetica and the color chrome, rt1b and i fell. Mellow is another one that i just absolutely fell in love with. Mellow has a left, monofilament side, part and a lace front. We have a very dark root in this color and some really nice silver with a little bit of warmth in there. But it's very minimal. This is a very easy piece, a very shaken go. I went to washington twice this year and this is what i wore on my plane ride, because uh mellow is not going anywhere. Mellow is going to stay just as you see it, and i have a long trip on going from either florida to washington or kansas to washington. It'S a long trip for me, so i need something that is very comfortable, something that will travel well, something that will the fibers will really hold up and then, while i was in washington, i also wore mellow. I always stays like this. Doesn'T matter how you put it on, mellow is just going to to react exactly the same way and i got ta tell you. I just love this color. This is kristen by jon renau in the color flurry. I fell in love with this color when i first saw it those of you that know me from way back when know that i wore my hair purple for years and flurry has that little bit of a tinge of plum in it mixed in with the platinum. We have a very dark root. It is a very easy piece. Kristin has a basic cap with a lace front when i went to washington. This is another one that i took with me put her in the suitcase and i wore while i was in in washington wears very well a lot of times. I go to fort lauderdale and i also wear kristen because it is just so easy and yet can look very polished if you, if you have a special occasion or you have a dinner it very easy to wear, can look very polished, but you it could also Be worn with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, and it looks great i'll show you kristen on all sides. I really need to get kristen and a few other colors. What do you think this is marion by jon renau in the color toffee truffle? I fell in love when i received marion, because this is such an incredibly beautiful piece. Lovely fibers marion is a straight synthetic. We have a full monofilament top, so you can part it anywhere you like, and we also have a lace front. I love marion because this is the one wig that i have that i don't have to wear a trace of makeup and i think it it still looks good. It just looks so pretty i get i receive so many compliments. When i wear marion, i was actually at the airport taking my step-daughter back uh. She was flying back. We were in kansas and the ladies at the at the desk there. Where, where do you get your hair done? It'S so beautiful, because toffee truffle is just a gorgeous color. They were pretty surprised when i told them that i was that it was a wig and i wanted to. I want to get it. I want to get it. That is the perfect color and it does. It looks beautiful. It looks natural on topic truffle. We have some light fibers right in the front which just frame frames the face. So pretty it is a perfect length. While it is not real short, it is not exceptionally long. It can still be worn a variety of ways with your clips with your square hair bands back in in a ponytail just as pretty as can be perfect for just about any occasion. And could you tell that i love my marion. Let me show you marion on all sides. This is minka by jon renau, also in the color toffee truffle. I was so excited. This was on the clearance section of which studio one, and i thought sure why not i'll go i'll go ahead and get it it's actually even at the regular price. It has a great price point for what you're getting minka has a full monofilament top and a lace front. It is just beautiful, it is a little bit longer than the marion. I just showed you because we have a longer length in the back. Therefore, we could do a little bit more with it. If we want to wear it an updo. If we want to wear it back in a ponytail, we want to wear it with a headband. Just a very pretty easy style just goes anywhere. You want it to go, you could, and once again toffee truffle on has on minka the same that we saw on on marion. We have those lighter fibers on the front that just make it so flattering, and the style itself is so appropriate, regardless of what you're, what you're going to be doing, and it's also something that even if we're a little bit older, we can still wear. I think you know what i tell you that length of the hair doesn't have an age, so i don't care i'm 63, i'm going to continue wearing this length. Let me show you minka on all sides. This is touch by ellen villa in the color tobacco rooted. When i first received this wig, i was head over heels about it. I have worn it so much. I was in kansas at the time that i received it. I wore it so much to so many dinners to sew to family reunions, and everyone had to say something about my hair, how beautiful, who was doing my hair? Where was i finding? Who would do my hair uh and, of course i would tell them it's a way. Touch has a left, monofilament side part and we have a lace front very little permatease and it realistic density, nothing over the top or anything like that. It'S a very easy piece to wear very versatile. Where you can wear it up, you can wear it back. You can wear it a number of ways. This is a straight synthetic. I just think it is so beautiful. I love this color and i would i just wish that helen villa would have this color available in some of the other styles. Very pretty. This is a medium brown with we have blonde, we have caramel blonde. We have a little bit of platinum here and there just a really really pretty piece. I just love it. I personally like to wear it down, but and if you're afraid of ellen villa ellen villa fits 21 to 22 inch circumference, i have a 21.75 ellen villa from the changes collection and from the perusi collection they fit me fine. They fit average right out of the box. So if you were concerned about ellenville, i know that there's a little bit of reputation there that they run a little bit small. Let me show you touch on all sides. This is another ellen villa this just launched, probably in november right around there or maybe early december. It was towards the end of the year. This is drive by ellen villa in the color bernstein rooted. Here'S the thing with this bernstein rooted as you can tell it is very light. If you look at the swatches or you look at reviews on bernstein rooted, it is much darker, it is actually a brunette drive is a heat. Has heat friendly fibers when i took when i took drive out of the box? I thought. Oh, my goodness. This is a blonde that i got the color mixed up, nope, it's it. This is bernstein rooted. I called ellen villa and i said: did you all change the color on bernstein rooted? No, it's because of the fibers, because the fibers are heat friendly and therefore this color is going to look much lighter than than if you have a straight synthetic. I love drive. I think it is absolutely gorgeous. We have a center part, we have a lace front, and this is, i think it was an average right out of the box. I didn't have any problems with the fit whatsoever. I love it so much that i also purchased it in cherry red mix i'll like insert a picture up here it just a beautiful, beautiful, uh piece. This is what i took with me for uh thanksgiving dinner with my family. It'S beautiful! It is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like hair, it doesn't have, we don't have any permatease here. We have a realistic density, it doesn't feel real light, it doesn't feel very heavy and again it could be worn back. This is my my. This is my sweet spot with the length. This is my favorite length. I love it. Let me show you drive on all sides now we'll be moving on to belletress. This is cold brew chic in the color mocha with cream bell dress is one of my favorite brands. It runs in average too large. The caps are so comfortable, cold brew, chic has a full monofilament top and we have a lace front called brushy is also available in a hand-tied cap. I love my belletress, absolutely love them. I have colombia and caliente and cubana and vienna, roost and cascara. I have a number of belletress, of course, this video would be two days long if i, if i showed them all to you, but i thought let me just pick two that i really really like from the line and and keep this video relatively short cold brew. Chic is one of my top favorite wigs from this year, not only from belletress, but just in general. This is a very easy easy piece to wear. You can wear it tuck behind your ears. It has very light density. We have no permatease, we it it just. It feels amazing, it's heat friendly, it could be curled, it could be straight. You could do anything you want onto it. This is one of the pieces that i have when i have traveled. I have taken it in my suitcase to where, when i get to my destination, love love, cold, brew, chic, i and actually let me tell you - i found cold brew chic on the clearance section at wig studio one. I i think, two or three that i have shown you i have purchased on the clearance section so make sure you go over there and look at it because you can find some great buys. This is one of them all right. Let'S show you cold russia on all sides. Now, let's move on to raquel welch, this is high octane by raquel welch in the color deepest ruby out of all the colors that i've had from kel welch line. Deep is ruby is one of my top favorites. I love this color. I didn't purchase many raquel welch this year, but high octane just stood out to me. I think it's fun. It reminds me of in the 80s when i would go, and i would get the those perms and have my hair all kind of wild like that. Yeah plus, you could wear it a number of different ways, whether it's an updo or in a ponytail. You could do a lot of things to it, it is heat friendly. It could be straightened if that's what you prefer. I just don't know i i almost straightened it and then i thought i'm not going to be able to get these these waves back to the way they are very nice piece. We have a full monofilament top. We have a lace front, beautiful, beautiful fibers and this color, let's just take a moment for this color deepest ruby. I love it. I think it is an amazing amazing color. I went back to belletress. This is sugar rush in the color coconut coconut brown sugar. This is from the balage collection from belletress. There are eight eight colors in this collection and it's available on three styles. Sugar rush is one of them. We have a full monofilament top and we have a lace front. This is a gorgeous color that just transitions to this beautiful platinum, blonde, uh right at the bottom, very, very pretty a light brown ashy. I think it's an ashy brown that we have on the roots, just a pretty pretty style. I don't know if i, if i could, if i would say that this is my favorite for the year, but by golly it's pretty close. I love sugar rush and i love this color. So it's two things that i really i it's two things that i found. Why i love this one so much it fits beautifully. The fibers are amazing, it is a heat friendly. Therefore, we have to be careful with the with the ends on it, but i love everything about this piece. I do have some others that i purchased during the last two weeks. I didn't think it would be fair for me to bring them on as yearly favorites, because i've only had them for about two weeks. Do i love them and think that the style is beautiful and the color those from the coffee collection from estetica? Yes, absolutely, but i haven't had them long enough to really sit here and say: wow. I'Ve really been reaching for that, because that wouldn't be so, whereas even this one that is one of my newest one, i have worn it out to dinner. I have okay, we need to go somewhere, that's the one i'm taking for um the holidays. This is the one that i have already decided that it's one of the ones that i'll be wearing to some of the get-togethers that i'll be attending we'll leave the the new ones, the ones from the the ones that i have purchased within the last two weeks. We'Ll leave those for the favorites of 2021, but we'll see if they make it or not. I want to thank you all this. I have been with this channel since april of 2020.
