Webster Wigs Hat Wig Review // Instagram Made Me Buy It, Is It Worth It? // Yepitsstilltori

Good morning everybody welcome back to my channel. Unless you are new, then hello, my name is tori. Today i have another product review. However, i have not seen this product anywhere. This is the first time i'm ever seeing this product and it is a hat wig. So i got mine from webster wigs like a month ago when i saw it on instagram. I thought it was super cool i've kind of done this before in the past, but there was never really like a product for it. So when i used to work a normal job, they did not allow unnatural hair colors and at the time i loved i mean i still do. But i love dyeing my hair, like pink red blue purple like unnatural hair, colors, so anytime, i would go into work. I would always have to put up my hair put on a wig and then also put on a hat over it, or i would just like clip in extensions. I would put up my hair clip and extensions onto my head and then put on a hat that way i didn't actually have to wear a wig. So when i saw this product i was very curious. I wanted to see if it was good if i could actually use it or if it was just gon na, be like another kind of weird product that i wasn't a huge fan of, so i decided to get one and try it out. I also saw that they had a lot of questions about. Why use this product over wearing a wig and a hat, so i really wanted to see one was this product good? Could you actually wear it or was it just gon na be another product that you bought and then just never used and two? What'S the main difference between this product versus wearing a wig and then a hat first, i'm gon na go ahead and just go over pricing for everything. So then, i could just get this out of the way super quickly, so you can get one of these for roughly 34., so price-wise. I think it's pretty good, it's very affordable. So, while you're ordering it you can also order extra hats and also extra hair. They both go for around twenty dollars, each so twenty dollars for a hat a little expensive. I have to read all these off of my paper. I can't remember all this, so the hats come in five different colors. They come in burgundy, which is the one i got cream: gray, black and pink, and then the hair comes in eight different colors. I got mine in pure black, but there's also auburn blend fire blend, frosted peach, pale, gray, platinum, platinum, eyes and red velvet. If you wanted to, you could just buy a bundle and then buy a bunch of different types of hair and then just switch it out. So you do end up saving around seven dollars. If you get them as a bundle versus if you were to buy them separately, so now that we've got the pricing out of the way, i'm going to go ahead and show you the actual product, i've already worn this a couple of times. So it is already out of the bag. It looks like this. It looks really weird like together and not on your head because, like from the back, it just looks like someone's head and it's super weird to like see this. I did find out the other day that the top does come off. I don't know if it's made to come off, but you can like pop it back in so maybe it is, i really don't know, but the inside of the hat has this black circle in it for the actual hair. So you can just take it off like this when it does arrive in the mail, it comes as a hat in one packaging, so this is where you stick the hair to, and then you also get a packaging of dusty hair. I also think the hair is a pretty good thickness, it's not too thin, and it's also not that too thick that it just gets like tangled and all messy, just while you're wearing it out so to put the product together. You need to take your hat flip. It inside out like this and then you take your hair and it's just like velcro, so you just go ahead and you put it on just like this. So then, when you go ahead and you flip it back inside out, it will sit the proper way you could also probably just like, instead of flipping it out, just like try to put it on just like this, and it will work just the same. It also does come with a wig cap. However, i don't actually wear a wig cap when i'm wearing this wig and i'll show you why. So i did wear this wig out into the snow for benjamin's birthday. When we went up to mount charleston, i thought it held up pretty well, i had to wear a mask. It was a little awkward putting on the mask with like the wig on just because the ends of the hair sit around right here on my head. So you kind of have to like lift it up to put it on which really isn't that bad, it didn't slip at all. There wasn't a moment where my hat just fell off and, like all my hair fell to the floor, it stayed on my head pretty well. The only thing i would like to see in this product added would maybe be some hair clips towards the front that way. You can also clip it on to your actual hair. That way, you know it's just a little bit more secure. My favorite part about this product. Is you don't need a wig cap, no wig caps required. All you have to do is put it up into a high bun like this is how i wore my hair the entire time, and it's like so easy. It'S definitely a lot faster to take on and off than a wig is just because i don't really feel like you need a wig cap. I know what you're thinking tori. You already have black hair. Why get more longer black hair? I don't have any extensions. This long, it's pretty long, i did notice that it started to get a little tangled more towards the end of the day. However, that's really not too bad that is kind of as expected, when you're wearing a wig, especially outside in the snow. I also think it's pretty lightweight, obviously, there's like a little weight to it, but i'm not like i'm clearly wearing like a wig right now like. I can't really feel it. Oh. So the reason why i chose to get black was so then it could actually match. My bangs and i could wear my bangs out like this. I would love to see a wig where it also comes with bangs that you could just put in the front. I'M also going to go ahead and grab another wig from webster's wig that i bought to show you guys the difference between wearing this versus wearing a wig and then a hat on top of it. So this is a another wig that i got from webster's wig. It is a black and red wig, so for this one i have to put up. Oh my god, look how cute, like all the little like pops, look on my head right now for this one. I do have to put my bangs up, which is very sad right off the bat. I'M pretty sure you guys cannotice that this is a lot more hair than this is so it is a little bit overwhelming. Sometimes you can definitely wear wigs and hats. I think this still looks pretty good. The only thing i noticed is now the top of my head looks a lot bigger because now not only does it have my actual hair in it, but it has all the hair from the very top of the wig in there, so it kind of makes it Puff up a little bit, it's also does make the hat a little bit tighter on my head. So that is definitely something to take note of if you def, if you want to wear a wig plus a hat combo, however, you could definitely still do it. There'S nothing wrong with this look. I think it looks pretty good, as i'm talking you can just kind of see that it starts to rise up a little bit, so you do have to like pull it back down and kind of like maintain where your wig is. But if this hat had wig clips, you could kind of just clip it into your wig and it wouldn't hopefully move fingers crossed, but this is pretty cute. This is a pretty cute. Look, there's also a lot more maintenance for wigs. There is more hair, there's, obviously gon na be more maintenance for it. So when you do have your wig washing days, this will take longer to wash dry than the hair for the wig hat. But to give you perspective, this wig is close to 70ish dollars versus the wick hat, which is again 34. So it is half the price, but you know it's also a lot less hair, so it does make sense for it to be cheaper. That was my review on webster's wig wig cap. I hope you guys liked it.
