Raquel Welch Classic Cool Wig Review For The Simply Wigs Community

Hi everyone - it's lizzy here with a quick wig review for you. So today, i'm going to review the wig i'm wearing, which is the one i use for my daily wear and the one i've got on right now is brand new, fresh out of the box. So i thought it was a good time to review it for you, so it's from raquel welch, the style is called classic cool or classic cool average to the size as well, and the color is ss golden wheat, which is a rooted color. You can probably see that it's darker at the root there than it is um at the ends, so i've got old one here as well, which i'll use to show you the construction. So if we have a look inside, this has got a lace front along here, which is why i can just pull this back from my face and you can't see any wig edge and that lace front goes into a monofilament parting. Okay, so because this is brand new, the parting isn't fully defined yet um when wigs are packed and sent the hair along the parting line. It'S almost like a fishtail plat, okay, so it's it's like that, and what you'll do yourself generally speaking, i certainly do - is just tease that out into a more separate part line. So i don't know if you'd be able to see this on the camera, but my old one there there we go, there's a more defined parting than there is currently on this. Okay, the rest of the wig. There is a nice mesh top and then most of the rest of it is wefted, which is great. It keeps your head much cooler in summer um. I spend quite a lot of time walking the dog and i tend to get quite hot, so um yeah having a wefted back, helps get a bit of air flow through and keep my head a bit cooler and then, of course it's got the usual adjustments at The nape there and the usual little metal bits on the temple so that you can fit it right onto your head. So let's have a look around this, so this is a classic little bob. I really like the the length. I really like the way that these longer layers here come into the jawline. I think this is probably the third of these weeks. I'Ve had now, i really like it, so i've stuck with it for a while um okay. So, let's have a look at the sides in the back there's the side comes in nicely here back, make sure my scarf's out away tucks in really neatly at the nape. So i suppose the reasons i really like this wig and i've stuck with it for a while. Are i find it very practical um? It'S short enough that you don't get much in the way of tangling, which you do with longer wigs um a little bit of frizz at the nape from um jackets rubbing on it, but nothing more than that. Um and i find it looks very natural and i think it moves quite naturally as well um. I like the fact that i can sort of scruff it up a little bit. Um have a messy look and i like the fact that i can get a bit more volume a bit of root, lift into it um, because i've got quite a round face. I need a bit of volume at the crown, so as this wig um gets worn, it'll be easy to train for a better word and i'll get a bit more lift at the crown.
