The Best Highlight Closure Wig Install + Review Ft. Alipearl Hair

I don't know i just felt like so satisfied, so welcome back to my channel, it's payden and today i'm back with another video, as you all have read by the title today, i'm back with a new hair review happy new year. You guys um, even though i know i uploaded a video for the beginning of this year. I just wanted to say it again since i didn't say it in the last one but as you all have been asking per my last post, i did have this unit in my hair, so i'm finally bringing you guys. This highlight wig review for this unit that i received from ali pearl hair. This is the box that it came in. This is going to be my highlight closure, wig install and my initial review for this hair. Let'S go ahead and get started with the installation process and then i'm going to come back and tell you guys about the pros and the cons and all specs and details on this hair. So that was it for my installation and now let's go ahead and get started with the review. Go ahead and start off with the delivery instructions, i want to say it took like four days to come. It took, i think, it's because i sent it over the weekend, though so uh shipping wasn't too bad. It did come in this box. It was in a dhl packaging, since it was a signature, i think they sent all their wigs off with the signature anyway. Inside of the wig, this box does say outlet curl on it. It has hair care instructions and maintenance instructions on the back of the box. Inside of the box, the wig did come in this bag and it had netting netting foam and all that good stuff to protect the wig inside of the bag. I'Ll talk more about the specs after i'm done with the unboxing, also sent me a black edge scarf. I love when they send these edge scarves y'all, because i'll be using these edge cards to lay my little baby hairs i like, when they send these a little edge cards. You guys, because i love to use these at the gym or just to lay my baby hair down. I love the edge scarves, definitely a fave, i want to say these are three headbands. These are really cute. These are giving me a versace vibes. So three little versace looking headbands, then they also sit a double sided toothbrush with a comb and they sent me an optional elastic band that you can sew onto your wig to make it a little bit more secure. They send you like a longer length for the closure wig and if you were to sew it on, you would sew it on just like this, but i didn't decide to sew it on, because the wig does have a adjustable strap installed in it already, and i Felt like the wig itself is already pretty secure on top of gluing it down. So i didn't really feel like i needed this, but this works. If you have like a cap, that's a little bit too big or you just want your closure to lay a little bit more flat on your head. Last but not least, they sent a pink silk bag with their name and they also sent a maintenance card that tells you how to wash your wig, how to clean it, hair care how to comb it and how to dry it. You all need any hair maintenance tips. Everything is right here in the box for you and i like that they went with like the red theme. I don't know it's giving me like christmas vibes, because the headbands are red, okay, guys. So let's go ahead and hop right into the specs of this hair and also the pros and cons but to get started. This is their theology unit um, that's another influencer on youtube. I actually watched a lot of her videos in the past. He actually collabed with ali pearl. This is human virgin hair. I got this unit and 26 inches with 200 density, and this is a 5x5 lace closure unit. The 5x5 lace closure is actually hd lace, and i personally think that the unit itself and the lace itself does look very hd. It did not take me a lot to pluck this hair. I would say it probably took me about 20 25 minutes to pluck it and also like another 20-25 minutes to install it um. If you guys don't know the difference between a closure and a frontal is that a closure is just a section. It'S like a smaller section versus a frontal is usually ear to ear. Frontals are available in 13x4, or 13x6 closures are available either four by four or five by five six by six. But this unit, like i said, is five by five, so the closure starts right here and ends right here. So this is how much lace is on my head right now, nothing covering um like this side of my head. Like my ears and stuff, i recently made the switch to lace closure, wigs because i had a really bad tan after i wore a wig to mexico, and i like the fact that it allows the sun and allows the light to hit like this side of my Face so i've been wearing lace closure wigs for the past two months. My tan has went away. Thankfully y'all. I don't think i'm gon na wear frontal wigs for a while, i'm kind of just trying to stick to closures. It looks just as good as a frontal, and i have people asking me like. Oh how do you make your closure wig look. You know you do the same thing y'all, just as i did in my install. The most important thing is plucking. It uh bleaching it and also like pressing it and putting product on it in this area so that it kind of gives a little bit more naturalistic push back hairline look. Originally, i put a soup in the middle, but i didn't really like it. I feel like it looks better with no soup in the middle. They also sent me two wig caps in the box, but i used the packet for this unit um overall, i really do like this hair. I think the biggest thing for me is the color. I'Ve been wanting to try this trend for a while. Now i've been seeing it on instagram, i haven't seen too many people try it, but i really like it originally. I thought that the highlights were blonde but they're actually kind of like i want to say it's kind of like ash blonde silver, but it definitely looks a little bit more silverish gray. I don't know i just really like it. It'S giving me like a. I got. A lot of compliments in my last video, so i'm glad that you guys i like the install and that you guys, like the color, this hair did come colored like this. I did not do it myself and honestly. I felt like my install, was really really easy. All i did, like i said, was bleach the knots that took about 20 minutes. I plucked my lace that took about another 20 minutes, and then i installed the unit that was like another 20 minutes so probably took an hour which is that's like split in half. For a frontal like with a front tool, i feel like it takes like way longer. So i would definitely say, like a pro of this unit, is that it's much easier to install much easier to maintain, because i feel, like a frontal, is just a lot of work. You know so i think, like closure. Wigs are a lot more beginner friendly on top of low maintenance. Like a closure wig, you don't have to do ear to ear baby hair and this, and that you know obviously frontals enclosures both have their pros and cons. I am telling you all my reasoning, i'm giving you all my reasons for switching to closures right now and i've been pretty happy with it. I feel like closure. Wigs can sometimes look a little bit wiggy, but i don't really get that with this wig, like it's very flat and seamless. I haven't really had too many issues with this unit. I'Ve had pretty minimal shedding and i've had a good amount of tangling i'll, definitely say the hair more so tangles at the ends. It'S not like it tangles like in the nape or anything like that like from here down. I feel like it's really nice, but then it's kind of like when it when it kind of gets right here. I'Ve had some um some tangling, weird throwback, because i haven't had as much shedding like when i comb this hair, not that much hair comes out of it, but it will kind of get like a little frizzy and tangled. But i have to mention that i have been wearing this wig to the gym. So when that happens, i do get sweat on my wigs and then i wash them stuff like that. But mostly, i will take my wig out when i go to the gym, but i think i went to the gym in this week like two or three times in the span of like two or three weeks so um that might have added to why it's kind Of been like a little bit frizzy at the ends, i'll say the only thing that i don't like about this hair are the ends, but other than that i've been getting so many compliments on this unit and i think a lot of you guys, like the color And like this install - and i do too - i think i would give this unit overall 8 out of 10.. I really do like the color the length and everything about this wig. The only thing that really kind of gets to me is like i said it doesn't really stay like 100 straight at the bottom. That'S the only thing i really have to say about that, and i will show you guys this length on me. I am five six and a half, but i just want to stand up and show y'all what this is looking like on me. This is where it comes down to okay, it's definitely yeah, i would say like right at my hip. So this is what it looks like in the front comes down here and in the back. It is basically right on my butt. I just want to give another shout out to ali pearl hair um. If you guys don't know, i have worked with him like multiple times. I don't even know how many reviews i've done for them. At this point, i want to say this might be my third or my fourth review. I usually have never had issues with ally, pearl hair. In the past honestly ellie pearl has been one of the best hair companies that i've been trying and when i tell y'all the best i mean the best, because i've been using ally, pearl hair. Since i was in college, i was like, i think i got my first wig from them when i was a freshman or a sophomore in college. So that's just to let y'all know now that was when i was 18 or i think i was 17 or 18 and now i'm 23., so i actually really rock with ali pearl hair. That'S why i'm really not tripping over like the ends and stuff like that. Everybody been asking me about it, everybody's, like, oh, my god, did you do that hair yourself, so shout out to ali pearl.
