Hey guys welcome back to my channel for today's video we're going to talk through the shampoo and conditioner sets that i use that. I absolutely love that have made a really big difference in my hair and have allowed it to grow long and strong. Even though i just got my hair cut, you know when you ask for a trim and then four inches end up on the floor. That'S what happened so, i'm feeling a little bit shorter than i'm used to, but still all these products have really really helped. My hair, so we're going to dive into each one i'll talk through some of the similarities and differences, and just let you know my overall thoughts on each of these, and this is actually my most commonly asked question i feel like lately. What shampoo and conditioner sets do i use, or what would i recommend, and i realized i haven't ever done - a video just sitting down talking about this. I felt like i did because i've done so many hair care videos recently how i grew my hair, long and strong how i wash my hair once a week, hair training tips, my actual washing routine on a weekly basis. I will link all of those below if you haven't seen those yet, but this video is definitely much needed. So that's what we are going to do today if you want to get some great recommendations for shampoo and conditioners, to really help to transform your hair. If you have damaged hair you're in the right spot, let's jump right into it. Okay, so really quickly. Before we actually talk about the products, i want to give you guys a brief background on my hair. Talk about type texture concerns i'll try to keep it. As brief as possible, but i feel like that's necessary, so you guys can kind of compare to your hair type and then use that to make an informed decision on whether or not you want to buy these products. You know so. If you've already watched my hair care videos before i have talked about this in those videos, i'll put a timestamp here for when i actually start the review, but for those of you that are new, i feel like. I should include this so my hair is deceivingly thick. I have a lot of hair, but the individual strands themselves are fine to medium. If i'm pushing it and are not coarse themselves, so i've been told that by multiple hair stylists, that's what i'm running with at this point. Like i said i just recently got my hair done and my stylist was like. You have a million strands of hair on your head, but they're just fine in thickness and my hair dries pretty flat and straight naturally, so i don't have a lot of volume unless i use products that help to add volume. Unfortunately, my hair can look pretty lifeless unless i get to work with the products that i'm using and then, as far as length and health of my hair and overall concerns, i have always had hair. That'S been able to grow long pretty quickly. I have been lucky in that sense, but what i have not been so lucky with is just the overall strength of my hair and its ability to grow long and strong and actually be healthy when it's long. So if i can find a photo of my hair in college, i'm gon na insert that here. I think i've included one in the previous video before, but my hair was long. The ends are a mess like it was just not healthy at all. The ends were frayed and stringy, so i feel like sometimes long hair is deceiving because it looks like. Oh you have this super long, hair, you're, so lucky it's so healthy. No long hair can be very damaged too, and that's what i was dealing with for a long time, primarily because of hard water. So i have lived in cities that have really bad hard water. I'Ve talked about this a lot in previous videos. I actually use a hair filter that i am obsessed with to help with that, because i don't have water softener where i live. So i would say that is my primary concern with my hair is protecting it from hard water damage because it destroys my hair. That'S why i only wash my hair once a week and other than that heat damage, i would say, is a no-brainer. I don't use heat on my hair on a daily basis, once maybe twice a week, but always good to protect your hair from heat. So that's a little short story on my hair. Now, let's jump into the review, okay, so one more thing i have to say before we talk about each of these. I have four different, shampoo and conditioner sets that i'm using right now i realize that that is. It'S a little ridiculous, it's not necessary! Please don't think i'm telling you you need to run out and purchase four different, shampoo and conditioner sets to get healthy hair. Definitely not keep in mind. I make reviews for you guys. So if i review something that i'm in love with i'm gon na keep it in my collection, i want to have it, i'm not gon na get rid of it, just because i have a lot, but at the same time, for whatever reason, i have always found That my hair responds best to switching up the shampoo and conditioners that i use. Of course, part of that is just giving my hair exposure to different ingredients even growing up before i made youtube videos before i was testing products out for you guys. I would always have two different shampoo and conditioner sets in my shower, and i would just alternate between the two every other wash, because i found that my hair liked that the best take what you will with that. That'S just kind of the approach that i have always taken. You don't need to do that, of course, especially if you find something that you love and that works well for you, but that's one of the reasons that i keep all these products is. I just alternate between them all, okay enough, rambling, i'm. So sorry, i want to make sure i'm giving you guys as much information as possible. Answering all your questions, but let's start off with the shampoo and conditioner set that i have been using the longest. That has never failed me. It'S the pureology strength, cure shampoo and conditioner not to be confused with their strength cure best blonde. That is like a purple, shampoo and conditioner. I actually do have a review on that that i'll link below this is for all hair colors. So pure algae is no joke. As far as the price point goes, these liters retail for 69, so they have a liter of product or around 34 fluid ounces. They do have smaller sizes available moving forward. I'M not gon na purchase leaders anymore because i have so many different products. I just can't get through them fast enough when i only wash once a week, but their neck size down, has nine ounces of product in it and retails for thirty dollars. If you guys are curious and want something smaller, the conditioner is two dollars more than the shampoo for both sizes. I don't really know why that is so. The shampoo says it's a gentle, rich lather shampoo that fortifies and helps to repair damaged, color treated hair, and i completely agree that this is a very rich lathery shampoo. Out of all of these that i have, it is definitely the most rich and the most lathery, and that's one of the reasons that i love pureology, even though it's very pricey a little goes a very long way. It'S such an effective cleanse for my hair, and you may have noticed that on the label it says zero sulfate. So this is a sulfate free, shampoo, sulfates are cleansing, agents and i've. Let you guys know my stance on sulfates before that. I feel like certain ones is specifically sodium. Laureth sulfate have been unnecessarily demonized in the hair care industry and i totally recognize that there may be some situations in which those ingredients are not the best for you if they cause irritation on your scalp or maybe, if you're, a more frequent hair washer, because they May end up, leaving your hair feeling a little bit more dry and stripped than you would like it to in that case. But if you're an infrequent hair, washer sulfates may really benefit you, because they're very effective cleansing agents and really good at removing dirt and buildup. So i don't have any shampoos that have sodium lauryl sulfate, but i do have shampoos that have sodium laureth sulfate and i finally do a great job at cleaning my hair again, i only wash once a week. So, that's why it's not a concern for me, but if you are somebody that prefers to use sulfate free shampoo, this is sulfate free and saying that i always want to make sure that if something is sulfate free, it has cleansing agents that are very effective and Going to remove that dirt and buildup, because i have quite a bit of it by the time i hit that one week mark - and this does i mean the top of the label - is really made up of quite a few different forms of surfactants or cleansing agents And all things that, especially when working together are really going to help to remove that buildup, so i can get a proper clean. I also notice that this does have salicylic acid on the label. It'S more towards the middle of the label, so not in a very high concentration, but i always enjoy seeing that on a shampoo label. It'S a mild exfoliant, so it will help to properly cleanse the scalp and especially when we don't have sulfates present. Like i said, i really want to make sure everything is gone enough, so i have a fresh start for the next week. So, aside from the top of the label having quite a few different forms of surfactants, there also are quite a few different forms of emollients. On this label as well, that will help to soften and smooth the hair, really make it look, silky and shiny, make it manageable and brushable, and a lot of those forms of emollients are different kinds of silicone. So i kind of have the same stance on silicones that i do. Sulfates may be a little bit different, but i think in a lot of cases, silicones have been unnecessarily demonized. I totally understand that for some that have different hair types and textures heavily silicone based hair care may not be what's best for your hair. Your hair may not respond the best to products like that. That'S totally fine, in my case personally, continuing to use silicone-based hair care has been one of the best things that i've done for my hair. It allows my hair to grow long and strong. It protects my hair. It keeps it looking and feeling shiny, soft, smooth and manageable, and one of the silicones on this label that really stands out to me. It'S actually in the shampoo and conditioner is a silicone called ammo dimethicone. That is an awesome silicone for the hair. It really protects. The hair provides the hair with long-term moisture it's a conditioning ingredient, so many different benefits for the hair from ammo dimethicone. So i also think that's one of the main reasons that i freaking love this shampoo and then quickly for the conditioner. This one actually has a lot of the same ingredients as this shampoo, so some of those plant-based oils that i mentioned and the things that will help to hydrate soften and smooth the hair, of course, minus all the surfactants, because this is a conditioner and ammo dimethicone Is actually the fourth ingredient on this label, and the formulation of this is honestly so good? I love this conditioner. I feel like this is my perfect kind of conditioner formula thick enough to actually nourish and deeply condition and moisturize my hair for a long period of time, but not so thick that it almost feels waxy and balmy and leaves a gross residue on the hair. That doesn't happen at all, but it still leaves my hair feeling so moisturized and soft freaking love it. I love curology strength, cure and i have tested out other peerology lines before, but not since they have reformulated some of them so they're pure volume. I actually still have an old, pure volume shampoo in my shower, that is almost gone. I have heard that they have since reformulated that and that it's not as good i'm very curious to test out more from curology now, but strength here is one that has never let me down, i highly recommend it and it's probably, i think it's tied for my Favorite now, but if i had to really pick, i probably would still say this is my first place winner, because i feel like it's been my trusty sidekick for years and has really really made a major difference in my hair and next is function of beauty. So i'm not going to spend too much time here, because i actually already have two separate reviews on function of beauty, so my initial kind of first impression review and then a follow-up after i had been using it for a few months to let you guys know My updated opinion, so i will link both of those videos below if you haven't seen them yet and function of beauty, of course, is a little bit different than the rest of these shampoo and conditioners. If you're not familiar with the brand, it's a customizable, shampoo and conditioner set, so you go onto their website. You tell them what your hair type and texture is. What your hair goals are. You can select up to five like strengthening conditioning heat protection, color protection etc, and they formulate a custom, shampoo and conditioner for you. This video is not sponsored. I feel like. I have to say that because in my personal opinion, they have way overdone it on the sponsorships which i feel like has led to a little bit of distrust by the general consumer population. Not that they're asking me for business advice. But that's that's my opinion and, while i think in theory the idea of a customized hair care set is great because it's giving you what you need based on your hair type and what you're trying to achieve. I think, unfortunately, there's a little bit of user error that can happen in that process. So when they're asking you what your hair type and texture is, that can sometimes be confusing like i was just talking about. I used to always think that i have thick hair because i have a lot of it and then found out for my hair stylist that that's not actually the case. So if i were to select thick coarse hair and that's not what i actually had, i would end up with the formulation that probably didn't treat my hair. The way that i wanted it to be treated. You know like you're gon na end up with something that is not the best for your hair. If you don't know exactly what your hair type and texture is and then, of course, the goals that you select make a big impact on the formula that you get as well. So while i can personally say that my experience has been very positive, i was very impressed with the ingredients in both my shampoo and conditioner. I know that not everybody has had a positive experience and i think that's one of the reasons why that can happen. I think one of the other major reasons is that they have an option to select silicone free, hair care. You know, i think, if you're someone that's used, hair care that has added silicones for your entire life, and maybe you didn't really realize that, and then you select the silicone free option. Thinking that that's better for your hair, you may end up with hair that you're not loving. You may end up with damage frizziness, just hair, that's not manageable or brushable. I want to talk about that in my next function of beauty update, because i do owe you guys one when i finish these products, but that's just my two cents on this brand and if you have been wanting to try it. But you were nervous about some of the negative reviews, maybe consider skipping the silicone free option. That'S what i did. These have silicones in them. If you are currently using hair care that has added silicones for what it's worth, though, i've really been enjoying these. I think that the shampoo does a great job at cleaning my hair, the conditioner is very nice and moisturizing. I definitely prefer pureology, but i was impressed with them. Okay. Next we have olaplex, and this is one that i have been using for - i think around a year now - and i love this stuff, you guys, so i have their number four bond maintenance shampoo, this one retails for 28 and has 8.5 fluid ounces in it. So also not very affordable and their number five bond maintenance conditioner that has the same amount of product and retails for 28 as well. So these products say that they are going to repair, strengthen and hydrate all hair types and the thing about olaplex. That really stands out as an entire brand is that they formulate products that are specifically designed to repair and maintain hair bonds. So if you have broken bonds and damage, it's specifically meant to help to repair that damage, and i actually posted an all the plex review. Relatively recently, talking about their number zero and number three bond building and repairing products, i'll link that review below, if you guys, are interested, but in that review i talked about their patented ingredient, which i'm gon na butcher, the pronunciation again, it's called beast: aminopropyl, diglycol, demeliate And that is that ingredient that is custom to olaplex that helps to rebuild those broken bonds and is really the standout of this entire brand and similar to pureology. This shampoo is also a sulfate-free formulation, so they have other ingredients to help to cleanse the scalp. If i had to directly compare this to pureology as far as the cleansing ability, i do feel like pureology does a little bit better job at cleaning. My hair, not a super noticeable difference, but i do think pure ology is slightly better in that sense. But regardless, i always shampoo my hair, twice, which i talk about my hair training, video and also similar to pureology. The shampoo has a few different forms of really nice plant-based oils that will help to nourish the hair soften smooth, make it more manageable. Everything that we've already talked about and a lot of those oils are also in this conditioner. So i don't really feel like there's much that i need to distinguish between the two aside from the obvious fact that one's a shampoo and one's a conditioner, a lot of ingredient overlap and, of course, that patented ingredient, the formulation of this conditioner, is definitely lighter. Weight than pure ologies, but i still feel like - does a nice job at moisturizing, my hair, so i do agree that this is probably a conditioner that would work well for a variety of hair types, because i think it's just i mean it's in the middle. It'S not too thick, it's not too lightweight, but it's definitely lighter weight than pureology. So if you want really really deep long-term moisture, i would go for pureology instead of this conditioner. So olaplex is another set that i would definitely recommend looking into and is one that i think has treated my hair so well. I really love it and i will continue to keep it in my collection. I don't know that i can say there's a clear winner between pureology and olaplex, because i think it really just depends on what you're looking for what your hair type is and what you prefer pureology, i think just feels maybe a little bit heavier for both products. So keep that in mind, if you want something that is more lightweight than olaplex will be for you, but in saying that pureology does a really nice job at deeply nourishing my hair so kind of a toss-up. I personally love to have both definitely my top two, though kind of tied, because i feel like i need both of them and the last set that i have is from karista. So this is their resistance line. I have their resistance. Bang, i'm not even going to try to say that it's their strengthening shampoo, this one has 8.5 fluid ounces in it and retails for 31. and their conditioner. It says it's: their strengthening. Anti-Breakage cream has 6.8 ounces of product in it and retails for 34.. So, in a nutshell, this line is supposed to strengthen and reconstruct weak, brittle and or damaged hair. It says it's going to help to rebuild and strengthen, revitalize your hair and prevent breakage and compared to the other shampoos we've already talked about. This is the one that is not sulfate free, so the primary cleansing agent is sodium. Laureth sulfate, not sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate is definitely the one that is notorious for being a bit more drying and irritating sodium laureth sulfate and a few other sulfates as well, and this actually does have a small amount of salicylic acid in it. So this is definitely the one that is worth looking into if you need something to really help to cleanse the scalp properly. How i have been enjoying using this is actually in combination with one of my other shampoos within the same shower, so i will use one of the other ones. First then, going with this, or vice versa, order doesn't really matter, but that i find does a really great job at removing build up. However, in saying that, i feel like just compared to the other shampoos that i have and looking at the rest of the label. I'M probably the least impressed with this one, and this is probably my least favorite. It'S not like i dislike it. I do think it's been nice to have in my regimen. There are some nice ingredients, things that will help to soften and smooth the hair. This does have ceramides to help to replenish, but not a ton going on and for something that's supposed to help to repair. As i would say, it's yeah strengthen brittle, damaged, hair and split ends. I don't think i would go as far as to say it's the best shampoo and conditioner set for that. I think you're gon na have better luck with olaplex or pureology, but, like i said, i've still enjoyed having it in my collection, it's probably just not one. I'M going to repurchase after because i would rather test something else out and same thing goes for the conditioner. There'S a couple: nice ingredients on the label, nothing that blows me away. I have enjoyed using it. It'S definitely the most lightweight conditioner that i have and honestly so is the shampoo. So if you're looking for a lighter weight set, this is going to be the one for you and while i have enjoyed it, it's just probably my least favorite. I'Ve had a longer amount of time to directly compare to all these other sets, and i have made my final decision i like it. I just like those a lot more. Alright, we have made it to the end of this video. Those are all the shampoo and conditioner sets that are currently in my shower. I hope that you guys found this helpful. There'S a lot going on here, but pureology and all the plaques are definitely my top one and two they have my heart the most. So i'm curious have any of you guys tested out any of these shampoo and conditioners before? Have you loved them? Have you not loved them? I have seen a lot of comments from you guys that have purchased pureology based off of my previous recommendations and have seen that you guys absolutely love it, which makes me really happy. Of course, i want to make sure that you guys are loving what i recommend. So let me know in the comments: are you going to test out any of these? After watching this video? I will have everything linked in the description box below, of course, if you're interested in purchasing anything and if there's anything else, you'd like to see from me next on this channel. Leave that request in the comments as well. I'D love to do that. For you all right, you guys, if you did enjoy this video, please don't forget to give it a thumbs up, subscribe and click on that notification. Bell that really helps to support my channel, and it would also mean so much to me if you send my channel to a friend other than that my next video will be up in a few days. So until then, i hope you have a great few days.

Noor S: I’ve heard Pureology reformulated the strength cure line. Would love to hear an updated review on it. I grabbed a smaller set when it was on sale while ago. Haven’t opened it yet because I’m trying to get through at least one set before I open another.

Brielle: I have really been enjoying my subscription of Prose over the last year. It makes my hair really shiny. I recently purchased Olaplex to try because of your recommendation. Sephora has a mini set of No. 3-6 for $25.

Cara Burns: I got a sample of the strength cure because of this video and after my first use I have to say: the perfume is no joke. Very strong smell that lasts for hours and hours. Also, my hair is extremely soft after using this conditioner. I don’t notice a reduction in frizz, but it didn’t make any frizz promises so I’m not that mad.

Trina Gallagher: I’m totally the same way re switching up & collecting shampoo/ conditioners! And washing once a week. Love this review!

Lisa Nikolajev: Hi Abbey, what difference did you feel between Pureology Hydrate and Strenght Cure? Which one is more nourishing? Thanks, loving your hair videos! Greets from Germany.

Phyllis P: I've bought Function of Beauty two or three times. I tweaked the formula, leaving out the scalp soothing bcuz it made my scalp feel greasy after a few uses. On all of them I ordered Volumizing, (thin, wavy and straight on top hair, with flyaways). About the third wash my hair was dry and frizzy as a haystack. I think it's the volume additive.

Fiona Darragh: Hi Abbey, Your hair is absolutely gorgeous , it is a nice length on you. I do like to use a shampoo that has a great lather as I find it easier to wash my hair that has a lather and easy to rinse too. It's good to know that you alternate between different brands to get benefits that you want. I would wash my hair twice a week as I have a fringe I wouldn't get away with washing my hair once a week. But I totally understand why you wash your hair once a week. The one brand that that you reviewed here that I can buy in Northern Ireland is Olaplex! The fallout that I'm getting from my hair is pretty scary. Did you read my comment on the recent Inky List video that you did. I would love to know your thoughts on the Vitamin C EGF Serum in this brand and is it worth purchasing? Thank you so much !

Rebekah: I snagged the Pureology set because of one of your other videos. I love it. I’ve used their masks in the past and love them also. I’ve also used Olaplex with the advice from my previous stylist and definitely need to get some again. I cut 12 inches off my hair 2 months ago and I’m missing it so so so much

Sophia Mary: I just want to say I love this video so much and found it so helpful but I used function of beauty and it was generally the worst shampoo ever it gave me scabs on my head and made a lot of my hair fall out to the point that the hair dresser noticed and said I needed to go to the doctors , and this video has actually really helped me because I really need a new shampoo and conditioner love the video though it’s amazing

Deborah Haberer: The water filter was a HUGH bonus in hair care. I guess I’ll try Pureology next. Smaller size is appealing. Everything you recommend works for me so I trust you.

Keri Nocella: Hi! I have been on a mission to “fix” my hair and I was torn between the three that you mentioned! I have been using Pureology Fulfyl for a year, it is not nourishing at all and leaves my hair feeling like hay (the shampoo) until I add a conditioner but it does take away the oils built up. I wash 3-4 days and it gets pretty greasy! I recently have tried Olaplex but it wasn’t making me hair feel as “clean”. Now I double cleanse with Pureology then the Olaplex follow with Olaplex conditioner. I think I am going to ditch the Fulfyl line and try the line you mentioned and alternate with my Olaplex!! I do not understand hair product ingredients yet or my hair type! I’m guessing it’s fine, thin and damaged. Can you recommend a lightweight hair lotion or heat protectant to use after a shower! Everything I try weighs my hair down, can’t get a brush thru it or feels incredibly greasy!

Miriam Llarena: I love all three and use all three! Except for the customized one, I too love Pureology strengthening line and love the Olaplex- use their complete line (not 0)- great discussion on these

Isabel Murphy: Just learned about the brand “Hairstory”, it is against shampoos since they strip the hair, would love your thoughts on this! Started using olaplex and pureology due to your videos and have been liking the results!

Seja Salina: Goodbye drugstore shampoos and conditioners. You have inspired me to step up my hair game !

Sera R.: This video came at a great time. I have fine color-treated hair that is stringy past my shoulders and never seems to grow further than my shoulders. For hair growth and health would you recommend the purology or the olaplex? Thank you so much for this video!

Erum Lakhani: I use the purology and a little goes a long way and smells amazing

Mandi Wolfe: Function of Beauty hair care has become my holy grail over the past year for my temperamental and aging curls, but you're right, it does come down to accurately choosing the correct formula for your actual hair type. I also use olaplex on occasion when I'm waiting for my next order of FoB to arrive and I think it works wonderfully as well.

Deandra Johnson: I’ve become a Pureology Strength Cure addict myself now. My hair just feels so much better and I’ll be interested in how long this latest haircut stays fresh and the splits and tangles stay away. ‍♀️

Abby Auriemma: just found your channel! Wow you are thorough! this was super helpful. I started doing some of the same stuff as you a few years ago like washing my hair twice, rotating my products in the shower, etc. I also use Olaplex and loveeeee it! Now Im going to try out the Pureology you recommended! I also have A LOT of fine thin hair that I'm trying to build stronger, grow longer, etc. so thank you for sharing that as well in the beginning :)

Jerry Nguyen: Started using Pureology Strength Cure not too long ago from the issues I experienced with Tresemme but I can definitely say that it works wonders! I just decided to buy the 30oz because my girlfriend wants to use it too. Great vid!

Mayra-Alejandra Viera: Love this video! I was just on the market to try a new shampoo and conditioner (other than the olaplex I usually use/I like to alternate as well) and I’m Sold on the pureology per your recommendation:) have you tried DAE products by any chance?

Dana Bikowski: Would love to see a review of the new inkey list hair products Also on a side note function of beauty came out with a new skincare line

Herdzale: You’re totally right on Function of Beauty’s marketing, it made me not want to purchase their products, not sure why because I’m not against people getting sponsorships but I feel like they overdone it too much

Summer Sadie: Hi Abbey. Great video as always! Really appreciate you sharing your extensive product knowledge. Am wondering if you have any suggestions for treating an "itchy scalp"? I was thinking of trying Briogeo's "Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub" as the reviews are really positive. Are you familiar with this product or have you ever tried it? It also sounds like the scrub might work well as part of a "hair training" routine, especially when washing hair only once per week. What are your thoughts?

Amanda Rose: I love how you explain all of this. I've been looking for a good shampoo and conditioner. Thank youuuu

Kacey Yahnke: This video could not have come at a better time for me! Just went to the hair salon yesterday and am in search of new products!

Nes: Just bought Pureology strength cure because of your recommendation. I have used it twice and so far I am really enjoying the way my hair looks and feels. Thank you. ❤

stance works: My hair is exactly the same... I have 3 different shampoos, my hair gets use to one and then it doesn't feel clean if I use the same one all the time. I would also love to know how you managed to only wash your hair once a week. My scalp gets oily quickly, especially if gym which is twice a week. I usually wash every second day.

Martina Fuser: I recently discovered your channel after finding you on tiktok and love your videos I wanted to ask if you could do a review on the aura botanica shampoo from Kérastase, I don't hear talking about it much but I think it's a pretty good one! Have a great day❤️

Jacee Greaser: Would love to see a review on the Redken bleach recovery line and some of the products in the Aveda line!

t.: please talk about Oribe and Naturopathica!!! they're my favorite hair and skincare <3 :) the scalp treatment spray and moisture cream are sooo good. and for naturopathica, im so obsessed w the cherry mask!!!

Esme Cortez: This video was super helpful. I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner for while, and finally found a good review video. Thanks!

Brooke: I get the litres for $40CAD with my hairdressing licence. Saves me so much money!

Elise D: Hi Abbey! Have you ever used the purple 'Hydrate' line of Pureology? If so, why did you prefer the blue 'Strength' line over that one?

Marissa Fowler: Trying travel sizes of the purology strength cure set! I'm excited! Also I love the brand R and Co!!

Maria Christina Bari: Oh Abbey, your hair looks GORGEOUS and SUPER long ( trust me ). Definitely hair goals I too have very fine hair but a LOT of it Stay Safe & God Bless !

Giedre: I am new to expensive shampoos. I am using the function of beauty and it was a game-changer to my hair. But I would love to try something different.

Monal Daterao: Your hair looks so healthy also tysm for all of your hair tips, they’ve helped me so much

jackiehoffman: Could you please do a review of the Joico KPak? My stylist recommended it to me, but I’d love to hear your thoughts!!

NewBeginning828: Have you tried the new Redken bond repair shampoo and conditioner? I'd love to see a review and comparison to Pureology and Olaplex.

Erin Lee: Okay here is a very random video idea. I have always heard that the Kirkland (Costco) moisturizing shampoo and conditioner are Pureology "dupes" (or even the same stuff in different packaging). I actually love those products (especially the conditioner, it is so creamy), and I've never tried Pureology. Interested in your thoughts as to how similar they are especially since you love Pureology so much!

Crystal Mendoza: First of all THANK YOU for all of your wonderful reviews! You have helped me with my hair a TON!❤️ I wanted to ask what you think about luseta hair products..? I’ve just recently tried some of their products and I have been so happy with the results.. definitely worth a try and review if you haven’t already tried their products…

Guns & Glamour: Can you possibly review the brand Unite? My salon carries their products and I really love the brand! I was wondering what you would think of their shampoos and conditioners as well as ingredient profile!

L s.: Are there more people who have tried the kerastase resistance line? Specifically the conditioner?

Alisha Rogalski: Do you have any thoughts/videos on castor oil for hair growth? I cut my hair shoulder length because it was so damaged. Now it's just in this awkward length/stage and super puffy and unmanageable.

Jaskarn Singh 606s: Would you recommend olaplex or Pureology for hair loss

Cady Lynn Oregel: Pureology will always be holy grail for me

Magdalena Maggie Barrera: Abbey your hair is lovely! I’ve been meaning to try some other shampoo and conditioner then just drugstore but the prices are steep. I might have to give in after this video. May I ask how often you get your hair done at the salon and is it just highlights? Thanks

Sheila B: I'm growing out a pixie cut and cutting way back on washing. I also need to up my hair game and plan to try both the Pureology and Olaplex.

Magnum062: Well after watching and listening to your suggestions I went around and surveyed 100 women on what their favorite shampoo is. 94% of them replied “Get out of my shower!”

Marissa Renée: Currently deciding between the Pureology Strength Cure shampoo & conditioner and the Olaplex Bond Maintenance shampoo and conditioner. I have semi-damaged (not terrible, but it has been bleached and heat styled and whatnot), fine and dry hair. Idk which would be best for me...help!

Life Unordinary: Thank you so much for the info! This was so helpful.

Wendy: Love your hair !!! I use same shampoo and conditioners and am going blonde how long do you wait to get trims !

Lynnette Wood: Olaplex but I don't have as much hair and is fine. It is gentle enough to use regularly but I do switch to the bonacure peptide rescue shampoo for fine hair every couple weeks to sulphate it

Ana Costache: Wow Pureology is really expensive in the US! You can find the 1L set of shampoo and conditioner for £57 in the UK from reputable sellers.

Madelene Minaya Marte: I bought all Olaplex line and I love it!! Now thinking of that Purelogy line... do you know where can I find them in a sample size? I'll hate to spend money in a full size product and at the end it doesn't work for me.

Aimee Struzinsky: Has anyone else had an allergic reaction to Pureology? I was so excited to use it, but I ended up with chemical burns on my scalp, hands, and feet. Let me know if you've had a similar experience or might know why this happened :/

Heather: Pureology Strength Cure is my fav. Would love for you to do a Purple Shampoo show down!!!

Lauren B: I’m recently getting into better hair care, skin care and beauty products especially as I get older, I’ve still have a lot to learn and I have sensitive skin so I’m so glad that I’ve came across your videos & that you focus on a lot of products for sensitive skin, because of this video I order the Pureology strength care shampoo and conditioner from Ulta Beauty I’m waiting for those to arrive, my next is looking into makeup which I’m still trying to learn about because I don’t really wear makeup unless I feel like I need to and I’m also learning more about skin care I’m so glad that all your videos talk about everything I’m learning about

Kathi Sanger: I have to tell you that I tried the travel bottles of the Pureology Strength Cure shampoo and conditioner. I knew it would be good since your other fave is Olaplex. I especially like the day I use # 3 and then 4, 5, and 7. My hair is like silk. This is a great addition.I have long fine, but thick highlighted hair. Next I guess I have to try the Amika mask. Love your recommendations. Thank you.

Rae: What shampoo and conditioner/ hair products do you recommend for natural, non colored hair that isnt styled much, just left natural???

Ailyn Moz: Thank you for a very well explained video!!

Amanda Couto: I am so torn between the olaplex and pureology! My hair is pretty dry and damaged and both seem like good options. Help!? ☺️

Paige ID: I was wondering which brand you would recommend more for hair that is stretchy & has breakage? I pushed my hair just a bit to far this time.

Emily Boman: I have been loving your videos! You know so much! Have you ever used any products from Aveda or Kevin Murphy? I would love to hear your thoughts on either!

Oh Keh: If you had to pick one shampoo and conditioner which one would it be? I might try the purology but I’m worried it’ll be too heavy?

Heather C. Ramsey: I loveeee Pureology! And also, ask for a dusting next time you get a haircut ‍♀️! The stylist will take off the least amount possible

Jennie Bump: Can you do an updated video on shampoos you use, or good drugstore ones?

Patty Ann: I have A LOT of hair too that’s actually fine and easily weighed down. But I have a theory...haha. Solid shampoos (hope that makes sense) have always weighed my hair down. I haven’t liked one that I’ve tried. But clear shampoos have worked the best for me. Everyone thinks I’m weird but I’m standing by it. Haha

Gracie Kranz: Okay, so I’m pretty sure my hair has been falling out because of the shampoo and conditioner I’ve been using, I have really bad anxiety and worry if my hair will grow back after I just realized that it’s been falling out from it. I was using love beauty and planet and did a little research. Apparently other people have been experiencing hair loss from it, and I just want something good to switch to that can help me grow it back. My hair has been one thing about me that kept me confident. I just want to know if it’ll grow back eventually or if it’s permanent :(

Julie O: Olaplex 4-5 make my scalp flaky after one use. I’ve tried several times because I’m trying to use it up but it just drives me nuts with how my skin reacts to it. It’s the only brand that has ever done this and super sad because I’m trying to repair my hair.

Jennifer Maguire: Thinking of trying VERB Ghost products based on the affordable price point (affordable for sephora haircare), have you tried it before? Or could you review it next? Thank you!!!

Jerusalem Basurto-Soto: Would you ever recommend skipping conditioner? Is it completely necessary? It’s hard for me to justify the price of both products together lol

A.Bit.Schultzy: I am going to purchase the purology. I just want my hair to be healthy and look good lol it is a hot mess lately.

Clothing Workzz: which would you say is better pureology hydrate or biolage hydra balm ?

김사월_April: They always tell me I have fine and coarse hair both. It’s healthy and it’s growing pretty fast due to my genes from my mom but I wanted to grow more coz I chopped it off few months ago

Kyla Evans: Would love to see a review of georgiemane hair mask, & redken extreme length shampoo & conditioner.

Robin Plastic: It would be nice to wash your hair once a week. I can’t. My hair gets really oily n flat if I don’t wash my hair every other day. I’ve used both the good kinds of products and the cheap stuff. My hair performs the same as regard to oilness. Took me awhile to find a good product that was cheap but didn’t have all the nasty stuff in it.

Λητώ Αντωνακοπούλου: hi!! is it okay to use the pureology products on natural virgin hair? love your videos!!

Dog Bums: Hey, silicone is bad for those with treated hair. Coloured hair, keratin treatments etc will wash out much faster even if 1 wash a week. I have curly hair and use a keratin treatment for when I straighten my hair and the bottle says to not use products with parabens and silicones ect.

Monica: Girl you have my ideal hair type! Looks lovely

Kj Kayla Johnson: I have super thick hair. And every sulfate free shampoo I've tried using makes my hair feel 10x more thick and it becomes a pain when brushing. I'm like you, I only wash my hair maybe once or twice a week. It's also color treated. I've heard shampoos with sulfates are bad for your hair, especially if it's color treated. I never know what to use anymore lol.

Sabrina Chaney: I have to wash my hair daily (scalp issues and my doctor told me not to skip a day) .. I currently use Pureology Hydrate Sheer shamp+condish & the color fanatic leave in. Would you say that’s safe for daily use? I also have virgin hair, can I still use Pureology since it’s for color treated hair?

Ashley Light: When you said that it contained amodimethicone, you sold me that! Agh, I love, love, love that silicone :)

Jenny: I also have fine hair, but it’s thin too. Will the volumizing Pureology be drying to my hair?

Salam Kasem: The purology was horrible I even returned it to Sephroa .. I made my hair super greasy and the conditioner has the feeling of pure silicon .. I hated that texture so much

Visible to all users on YouTube: Are these shampoos cool for oily scalp and vegan hair?

Meaghan: For fixing thinning hair, do you recommend olaplex shampoo and conditioner or pureology pure strength?!

Agne Stepsyte: One of my favourite type of videos! Hair looks amazing as always - still very long ☺️ #hairgoals on an unrelated note would you share what lipstick you’re wearing in this? Love the colour.

Heather Ramos: Love ❤️ your channel! Do you use a leave in conditioner? Or heat protectant? Weekly Deep conditioner?

Kerry: Hi im so glad found your page i have been looking for a good shampoo and conditioner for my hair. what products would you think is best to try for hair extentions please? X

Aouatif Ghabraoui A.W.A: Hi beautiful, can you please do a review on Taya shampoo. I really want to buy it but It’s on the pricey side and an honest review will help me decide. Lots of love keep doing you xxx

Melissa Ordonez: I really enjoy your videos, they are very helpful. I love Pureology and Olaplex.

Anna Same: There is different packaging of the pureology strength cure. Is it still the same?

Linda Johnson: This video was so helpful! My mature hair is in the worst shape of my life. I just ordered the Pureology shampoo and conditioner. Thank you!!

Ruchi Patel: Can pureology strength cure shampoo be used even if my hair not damaged or colored?

RedLadyBug 91: My hair has become to thin and I’m balding on the sides of my hair from when I have my hair continuously in a ponytail. I’m tempted to cut my hair short to get rid of all the dead ends. Feel like I’ve used everything! I’ve tried Waterman’s products before #products #advice

kris blalock: Suggestion for a shampoo that clean buildup for dry colored hair When you use a clarifying shampoo do you use your normal conditioner? Or do you use a clarifying conditioner also

Anna Sigfeldt: Hi! Can you do review about joico k-pak ? I have been thinking about trying it, so it would be nice to hear about your thoughts on that. Thanks

Umm Ali's Happy Home: I used this for the first time today. It's smells horrible and the shampoo knotted the crap out of my hair. Not that I care about soap suds, there was literally non, and my hair felt horrible after shampoo. I loaded up on the conditioner to get all the tangles out and again smelt horrible but did help to get the knots out. I considered whether it was expired or not but I purchased through CosmoProf as a salon professional and they don't sell fakes or expired things from my experience.
