Hey guys in today's video i thought it would be fun to share with you an update on my experience with the i restore professional hair regrowth system. I purchased this in january of 2019 and since then i have been using it every other day for 25 minutes and i have had great success with this hair regrowth system. Specifically, i have noticed an increase in my hair strength, quite a bit actually less hair, breakage um, just stronger hair overall and i've noticed an increase in hair thickness. Specifically, my ponytail is a lot thicker than it once was um. I can tell because when i put my fingers around my ponytail i now have, i now have a thicker ponytail um but yeah. So i get a lot of questions about this and i thought i would delve into some of the most frequently asked questions and kind of share with you, my personal experience using it. I do recommend this device to my patients, who have androgenetic alopecia, whether they be men or women, works for both types of pattern, hair loss and, honestly, you guys pattern, hair loss or androgenetic alopecia. It'S one of the most common forms of hair loss. It affects 8 million americans, it's very distressing and it's a chronic issue. There'S no real cure for it beyond a hair transplant and many patients are seeking an at-home hair regrowth system and the iristor really delivers, and i i feel very confident in this device. It is fda cleared and what that means is that it's been shown to be safe and effective. That is one of the most important things when choosing an at-home hair regrowth system. I often find myself doing this at nighttime like when i edit youtube videos or i'm wrapping up on some clinical work. It'S really easy. It just takes 25 minutes and it's super comfortable to wear i'll show you guys, i'm gon na do my session here. For you now oftentimes, i will part my hair in the middle, but honestly it doesn't really matter. You can just put it on your head. The lasers and leds within the helmet will reach your scalp. Regardless of the position of your hair. You want to make sure that it's plugged in and then here's the little. I don't know what you call a switch so to get it started. Um just make sure that it's on comfortably anyways to get started. You just want to, of course, be sitting seated in a comfortable position and you can see the lights are going, you can see, the lights are going and it has a little countdown of the number of minutes left and then, if you want to pause it, you Certainly can to do so. You just hit the um, the start, stop button and you'll hear a short beep and you can pause it for five minutes now. If you don't resume after five minutes, it will automatically shut off and to resume. You just want to hit that button again and at the end of the session it will beep you'll hear a long, beep and then it'll just turn off automatically, and the cord is long enough that you can walk around with it. One thing i don't like about it, though, is that if you have hair loss on the occipital scalp, which is basically down here, it's not going to get that area. It'S really ideal for the crown and the parietal scalp or the sides of the scalp. But if you have a lot of hair loss on that occipital area, it you're going to have you're not going to get the light energy to those areas, but it does offer a really good distribution of the light energy. Now the light energy that's delivered to your scalp is non-thermal. The these are not it's not heating up your scalp or anything. However, the delivery of the energy part of how it works is it stimulates the production of nitric oxide which results in vasodilation. That'S going to bring in growth factors to nourish your hair follicles. So it's not unusual to experience a warming sensation, but i want to be clear: it's not because the light energy is heating up your scalp. It'S really just that you're getting an increase in circulation to the scalp and that's part of how it works. The eye, restore professional uses, a combination of low power, lasers and leds to deliver light energy, specifically red light or near infrared light to the scalp. Now these wavelengths have been shown in clinical trials to result in biochemical alterations that treat pain, reduce inflammation and later. There was a great interest in seeing how these effects might help the hair and hair regrowth when applied to the scalp, and we know that the administration of low-level laser therapy to the scalp results in increased hair thickness and a lot of how that is thought to Occur is through these biochemical alterations that support cell renewal and ultimately, hair regrowth, along with increasing blood flow and circulation and bringing in growth factors. Clinical trials demonstrate efficacy and hair regrowth in individuals who are suffering from pattern, hair loss when using low level laser therapy. So it is a great treatment modality. It can be used by itself for people who have been. You know, kind of frustrated with traditional hair, regrowth treatments like rogaine or finasteride, or in the case of women spyronylactone. However, it also can be used alongside those treatments and arguably, when used alongside those treatments, you will get even better results and you may be wondering where does low level laser therapy fit into a hair transplant? The hair transplant surgeons will tell you that low level laser therapy enhances the success of the hair transplant, so it's also a good option if you are already pursuing or thinking about pursuing a hair transplant. This is a good adjuvant treatment to to consider adding on or to discuss with your health care provider it's safe for people, ages, 18 and older. We don't know about how it would work or its safety and people younger than 18, so discuss with your health care provider if you are under the age of 18, if this is something that is going to be right for you, but research suggests that low-level laser Therapy, when applied to the scalp stimulates follicles supports cell renewal and ultimately hair growth and increases the energy within the scalp through the molecule atp, which is the energy kind of the energy snack of cells. So you can see at this point. I'Ve got 16 minutes left um, but it's really comfortable at this point. I don't, i honestly, don't feel any anything. I typically forget. I even have this thing on my head. It'S a good thing. It shuts off automatically what about some of the other devices on the market in 2007, due to the demand for an at-home low-level laser therapy device from patients in 2007, the fda approved the hair max laser comb and studies show that that device did in fact result In improved hair density and thickness in patients with pattern hair loss, however, two issues arose. Patients found that they, i don't know they kind of bailed on it. After a while, a lot of patients were not happy with it, and it seems as though, because the comb, the nature of the comb is such that it's really hard to get uniform distribution of the light energy. So to solve that issue, companies like iristor came out with helmets that would allow for a more even distribution and so they've significantly significantly improved upon the technology. That was, you know originally in the hair. Max laser comb they've improved that technology quite a bit, so you get better a better device, basically, as with any hair loss treatment, it requires patience. You'Re not going to put this on sit there for 25 minutes and then wake up with rapunzel hair. It takes time to start seeing results. You can start seeing results in as little as 12 weeks, but i would say, realistically, 24 weeks is when you will begin to perhaps notice, hair regrowth what you might expect with this device. As with any hair, hair loss treatment is that in the first few months, you actually will have an increase in hair shedding. However, that's to be expected, the reason that occurs is that, as the energy is increasing blood, uh blood flow and delivering those growth factors, what ends up happening is that hairs that are going to be shed they're kind of kicked out to make room for for hair Regrowth, it's normal to shed about 100 hairs a day so when you first start using a hair treatment device or really any hair treatment, those hairs that are expected to be shed they're kind of all going to get kicked out at once. So don't be alarmed by that, it's perfectly normal. So in the first three months you have some shedding. You won't notice, though, it's not as though you're gon na that shedding, though, does not turn into bald patches, so you're, not gon na, have an exacerbation of baldness or thinning thinning in the sense of seeing more of your scalp you're just going to have more shedding. As those healthy follicles are being stimulated and regrowth is, is getting kicked off, it just takes time then around three to four months. You will still have some shedding, but you're gon na start, observing some fine downy baby hairs and then by five to six months. You'Re really gon na start appreciating increased hair, thickness, fuller hair and increased hair growth and hair regrowth, and that's really when you'll start seeing results. I i would say that's that that's reasonable to expect now for me personally, i did notice some shedding in the first few months, but probably around four to five months. I really was like wow. My hair seems to be growing a lot faster than it typically does, and that's really when i began to appreciate subtle increases in thickness and that increase in thickness continued and it's kind of plateaued. At this point like it's not like. My hair is not growing and growing and growing and getting thicker and thicker and thicker it does plateau, but i have enjoyed using this and i've continued to use it and have maintained that increased thickness using the device. One of the things people want to know the most, though, is what happens when you stop using it. Do you lose all of your hair? What can you expect? No, you stop using. It say you just get bored of using it or you go on vacation. You don't want to take it with you, although it's pretty easy to take with you or say you just go through a period of time where you're just not keeping up with it. Do you suddenly go bald overnight? Absolutely not, but what will happen is that you, because you're basically removing the scalp health aspect of the light energy. Then you will lose that extra bit of support in your hair, regrowth journey and so depending on what other treatment modalities you're using your hair loss will continue and ensue. So to be clear, this is not a cure for pattern, hair loss, but it will support regrowth of the hair and it's not going to cure your genetics or anything like that. But say you say: you're using minoxidil and you're, using this and you're getting good results. You'Ve been using this, you know you're six months in and then say you kind of start slacking on this, but you're still using the minoxidil you're not going to see an increase in shedding with that. But say you stop both then you're definitely going to get some shedding with time. And if you have your your pattern, hair loss will will move along as it would ordinarily. But it's not like you stopped this, and everything that was was being supported and regrowing suddenly falls out all at once, but those follicles now are no longer supported and your and your background disease process is going to creep on into those hair follicles and they will Miniaturize with time, i get questions all the time, though, about this device like can, i recommend a less expensive one? No, there are many factors that went into me deciding on this device and why i recommend it. First of all, i like the helmet technology. A lot of the less expensive devices on the market are combs or like there's one that looks like a hair band. They just don't get even distribution of the light. Energy. Second reason that i like it so much is that it's fda cleared, which basically means that it has been shown to be safe and effective, and so that's abs, that's an absolute must, but that's not unique to this device and many are fda cleared. That'S definitely something you want to look for, but the other thing that i really like about this device is that they have a great money back guarantee, and i know that sounds like a little bit like like an infomercial. But in the case of this, i think it makes all the difference. If you don't see results after a year, they will give you all of your money back and they don't charge you to send it back to them. Many of the other low-level laser therapy devices on the market, if you're not happy with them, they'll give you your money back, but then they make you pay for like sending it back, which i think is a racket. Our restorer has a 12 month money back guarantee. You'Re gon na know about six to seven months, and if this is working for you or not, and if it's not, then it's really easy to return. This get your money back and that's it um. You know, honestly, truthfully not everybody is gon na see results with this, and that is why i love irish store because they acknowledge that up front by having this money back guarantee. Is that not everyone's gon na be happy with this device? It'S not going to get everybody the type of hair regrowth that that they're looking for they're not going to see the kind of results that they want. They'Re not going to be happy with it. That'S the truth of any hair hair loss, treatment, rogaine, spironolactone, finasteride, low level, laser therapy, all of them there's no there's no, there's no treatment. That 100 of users are satisfied with um, and so they acknowledge that up front with their long-standing money-back guarantee. 12 months i mean you should know at six to seven months. Um, but 12 is even better. I really did a lot of research before deciding on buying this. I'M sure there are some other helmets out on the market now, but at the time this was the one that stood out for me and i've been using it for, like i said over a year now, and i've really been happy with it. I also get a ton of questions about this device for different types of hair loss beyond androgenetic alopecia or pattern hair loss. I will say this: if you have hair loss, the most important thing you have to do this. Actually, i mean it's imperative before considering buying a device like this, you have to see a dermatologist and get a diagnosis of your hair loss. I'M a dermatologist, and i can tell you guys there are many many many forms of hair loss that will not that this will do nothing for and you'd be wasting your money. And so you really need a accurate diagnosis, a lot of times that involves blood work and a scalp biopsy to truly know what disease process is going on and then, depending on your diagnosis, have a candid conversation with your dermatologist about low level laser therapy. The data is strongest and most robust for pattern, hair loss. There are so many other forms of hair loss, though, that we don't have studies on low-level laser therapy, for so it'd be really hard to say. Yeah go for it, especially with a device like this. That'S not cheap in the long run. I think it's a good investment if you have pattern hair loss, but if you have some of these other forms of hair loss, it may not be right for you. For example, a very common form of hair loss is called telogen effluvium, it's basically a lot of hair shedding that happens three months after a stressful event like a fever. So long as that stressful event is not a recurring issue and honestly, a fever should not be. Although of course there are, there are diseases in which you do have chronic fevers, but anyways, i digress. Uh say you had a fever. Three months later, you developed a telogen, effluvium uh. It'S it's distressing. It'S not pleasant to go through. Do you need to invest a thousand dollars in a low level, laser therapy device to correct that absolutely not so long as you're, not having ongoing fever? You know the hair will eventually regrow and i would, i would say, don't waste your money on a hair, regrowth system. That being said, it would not surprise me if you saw a return to your normal hair density faster using a device like this, because it's going to bring in those growth factors and whatnot, but is that really a worthwhile investment for you? You know those extra months of you know getting getting there a few months faster, it seems, seems hard to justify in my experience, treating patients with hair loss. It'S so distressing you're vulnerable, and so you know i know it's. It'S really distressing, but have a very candid conversation with your dermatologist about like what you could realistically expect from this, because if you have a hit form of hair loss, that's gon na grow back anyways. You know your future self is gon na, be annoyed with you that you plunk down all this money um, and so i you know, have a candid conversation with them. For example, there's another type of hair loss. That'S really common called um alopecia areata. It'S an autoimmune hair loss where, basically, your immune cells attack, the hair, follicles kind of randomly and all all at once, and you get this sudden, bold patch and that regrows in many cases, sometimes it doesn't. But we don't have studies on low level. Laser therapy for alopecia areata, so i would be really hard to justify buying something like this with such weak to non-existent data strongest for pattern, hair loss. How do you know you have pattern? Hair loss? You see a dermatologist, you get an accurate diagnosis, people with pattern, hair loss, it's not unique to men. We always hear about male pattern baldness, but women have it too, and it really really affects women, not only, of course, in the sense of their hair thinning but psychologically losing your hair very distressing because of the higher levels of circulating androgens in polycystic ovary syndrome. Many people with that disease do have pattern, hair loss, and this is something to discuss with your treating dermatologist or your endocrinologist. If it's worthwhile in addressing your hair loss all right, so we just got a beep, and i still have more to tell you guys, but one other thing i do not like about this um is that it leaves that dent from this little cushion um. So if that's going to bother, you know that that happens. It could just be in my head. It'S you know, big. I don't know. I never really considered myself to have a big head. I mean i you're like all right, egomaniac, no, i'm kidding. So, if that's going to bother you be aware that it does, it does do that at least from from my head um. What else is i going to say yeah discuss with your dermatologist, your endocrinologist if low-level laser therapy might be right for you if you have uh some of these other forms of hair loss, if you have pcos and you're dealing with hair loss, don't forget, though, probably Your best bet is combination, therapies, a combination, maybe in the case of a female pattern, hair loss spironolactone. I have a video on spironolactone for hair loss by the way. Combination of those things, along with minoxidil that or aka rogaine, can really get you even better results and, of course, hair transplant down. The road is something to consider, but a low level laser therapy device can help, get you better success and better outcomes from your hair transplant and is another worthwhile investment. In my opinion, i think this device is great and i highly recommend it for anybody with pattern. Hair loss, whether they be men or women, it's a safe and effective device. You can expect an improvement in hair density and hair thickness, but not everybody's going to be happy with the results. It'S not going to wow everyone. It depends on your background, hair loss at baseline and kind of what your expectations are going in so know that know that there is a chance that you will not be happy with this, but the good thing about the irish store device is that you can get Your money back after a year and you'll you're gon na know at six to seven months anyway, um, but it's great that they take it out to a year. So that's that's a pretty long time and that's one of the many reasons why i strongly recommend this device it's great and their customers. Their customer service is really good. Anyways guys, that's my update on the store, um comment below those of you who have purchased it. How it hasn't been going for you, have you seen success with it, or did you return it? I would love to hear your feedback, but if you like, this video give it a thumbs up, share it with your friends and as always, don't forget, sunscreen and subscribe i'll talk to you guys tomorrow, bye, you

Jacky Chan: Y’all got to respect the time and dedication this took. 18 months for this video. LOVE YOU DR. DRAY

Susan Sisk: I’ve been using one of these devices for about 20 months and there is a noticeable increase in the amount of hair I have. Lots of thinning prior to using the device and it took about 10 months to notice a difference but I’m happy with the results. Thanks for confirming what is working for me because some folks don’t believe it. ☺️

Deedee Smith: I love this I bought it after you gave recommendation. I’m older and it helped thinning of hair and I believe it did help. Going through Chemo now so I can’t use it for a while . I’m so looking forward to getting back restoring my hair when my journey is complete.

Celeste: I’m 4 months in! I just started noticing a difference at my temples. When I pull my hair back a I can no longer see my scalp when I glance in the mirror. And my widow’s peak is growing back in! It will obviously take time before I notice a fuller pony tail or anything significant but I’m excited that this is working! Thank you for the recommendation!

Danielle Peterson: I purchased the iRestore Pro Helmet back in early April after seeing you use yours, Dr. Dray. I have very minimal hair loss, but am already noticing regrow and that my hair is overall becoming thicker. I’m glad I purchased it. Thank you!

aiman_b: Hi Dr Dray, wanted to share with you that I received the irestore and have been using it for a week. The front pad leaves a bump on my forehead so I called them to see if I could adjust it. They are sending me smaller pads but in the meantime, you can actually remove any of the "bumpers" by sliding them either in the unlock or lock position. It actually fits my head so much better without the front bumper!

Maria Solis: It does work! been using it for about 7 months already. Im not bald I just wanted it to grow hair on my hairline and so far the results have been amazig

Uncle Charlie: Your hair is definitely visibly thicker since you’ve used this device It is visible where you part your hair I can see it. I might not have hair but I got eyes! Pretty cool to know that this Restore helmet actually works which brings promising hope to many people. Dr. Dray you look nice in the helmet I am enjoying watching the lights flash on and off it’s as if your a pretty human Christmas tree in September what kind of Christmas tree is that a Douglas Fir? No it’s a Dray Fir! ⭐️

Julie Bowers: I bought the cheaper iRestore helmet and after a year I do see improvement in less hair loss. I think it helps, especially on top of my center part. My only complaint is the helmet (cheaper version) is uncomfortable. Thanks for the thorough review.

Mary Lynn: I've been using the IRestore helmet for one 1 year and I do see a difference. Individual hair strands are thicker. Right temple has new hair growth and the left temple has thicker hair (but the same number of strands). I am happy with the purchase and I will continue to use it.

Professor Joy: I've been eyeing this for over a year and bought it two months ago. Pretty impressed so far. Before I even bought it a consultant from the company looked at pictures of my situation and determined that I could benefit from the device. The only issue I had was the foam on the front left a mark on my forehead after wearing it (too tight). I called and the company shipped out a different size foam at no cost and now the fit is perfect. It's easy to use and I'm comfortable recommending it because of the money back guarantee.

Carmen Laing: I have had the cheaper irestore for 4 months now and im starting to see lots of baby hairs pooping up and a big increase in strength of my hair. Great product and i would definitely recommend it. Ps i first heard about it in one of your videos.

Awake: Thank you Dr Dray for sharing your personal experience on this. Looking back at your old videos, I definitely notice your hair has gotten so much thicker - big difference! I will look into this technology.

Dana V: I purchased this I restore helmet August 2020 with a nice coupon Dr Dray mentioned that was available. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner. I used the vitamins also. I slowly noticed new short hairs appearing on my forehead hairline and sticking up along my part! I was so excited! Within six months my coworkers were making complimentary things and telling me about their hair loss and how baby fine their hair has become. I don’t know if it was menopause or the COVID stress or what but several women noticed my hair change! I has not colored my hair since I have used the restore helmet and just letting my hair grow, my pony tail has grown thicker and I am VERY happy with the purchase and will continue to use it as I am afraid it will all go away if I stop. I was not spending money going to the hairdresser during COVID so I felt I had saved enough money to pay for the device. I cannot give a stronger recommendation if you can afford it. It helped me a lot.

Jessica Rodriguez: Started using this device about a month ago and I have been shedding quite a bit. I was feeling down about it this morning but now I know this is normal and expected. Thank you so much Dr. Dray for uploading this video!! Gives me hope that it'll work for me eventually.

Xarcana, The Arcane Crossroads: I was diagnosed with chronic telegen effluvium by a dermatologist a few years ago. I used minoxidil for a while and it worked wonders. My hair was better than it was when I was a teenager -that is how well it worked. I had to quit using it after about a year though, because I developed this weird sensitivity or allergy. I am seriously thinking about trying this even though it may not be indicated for telegen effluvium. I might visit with a dermatologist first, but since they have the money back guarantee after a year, I feel inclined to take a chance. Right now my only solution is to wear my hair short. I can barely wear it past chin length. It would be nice to have long hair or even at least shoulder length hair. I plan to go into it with realistic expectations just like I did for Rogaine. Thanks for the review. ✌️♥️

Cliff L Jimenez: Thank you Dr Day, I’ve already ordered a few days ago and I’m even more excited after watching this video. It’s going to arrive soon! Thank you for all the important information you shared.

mary ann Gonzalez: Happy Tuesday Dr Dray and everyone another great and informative video. I so appreciate that you try out all these products for us instead of getting the typical response from other bloggers that something is the greatest thing ever. Have a fantastic day and love to mom and Tybee

TIba Hasan: I’ve been using Irestore professional for nearly six months now and I’m getting same results as dr dray’s in this video in term of stronger hair and less shedding. P.S I don’t have androgenic alopecia but I’ve been suffering from chronic telogen effluvium for sometime :(

SnowPin: Hi Dr. Dray, thanks for the video, it was very helpful. I am a bit confused about the shedding that occurs after starting LLLT: what do you mean by your 100 hairs lost per day are shed "all at once?" Will the natural shedding worsen the hair loss/thinning (i.e. you loose more than a normal number of hairs per day)? Does it happen to everyone when they start LLLT? Thank you! I have been wanting to try iRestore for sometime but am hesitant because I don't want to go through a period where my hair loss becomes worse

D S: Thanks for the information on the shedding! it was very alarming at first. My shedding is probably a little worse because I started minoxidil at around the same time as I started this. Also I read that those who shed more at the beginning of treatments usually have better results. Any truth to this?

Diane Laurin: I bought the iRestore last February. Both my husband and I are using it. I have noticed a little bit of hair regrowth, at the temples. My husband appears to have regrowth on the top of his head. We took pictures. We are still at it! Optimistic.

Bri Halsey: You are SO incredibly intelligent it’s inspiring. Thank you Dr. Dray. With everything going on in the world I love hearing someone speak with such class and intelligence

INSIDE BEAUTY with the old girl: Hi Dr Dray, thank you for showing this and recommending it. At 69 years old I am experiencing hair loss and a receding hair line. I would have more confidence in my YouTube videos if I could thicken up my hair. I would love to try the IRestore but cannot afford it as I am retired. Thank you so much for this great video. Sincerely, Sheila

Nicole Ernst Boris: Thanks Dr. Dray! Based on your feedback, it might not be the answer to my concerns but will follow up with my Endocrinologist (I had no idea he would be able to discuss that). I am looking for a dermatologist as well due to insurance change (ugh). Have a great day.

Li Ma: Dr. Dray's videos save me so much money in the long run because I'm not spending money and time on things that might not work. Thank you do much Dr. Dray!

Lunshi Tang: I used the skin care products that you recommended and my skin has been really healthy. I experience some baiting thinning on the top of my head. After watching your video I decided to get this helmet, because I trust your opinion. I know it doesn’t work for everyone but good thing that they have 1 year return policy. I hope you can make more videos about hair loss. Thanks!!

Hidden Intuition: Are the results permanent? Or is this something I'd have to use for the rest of my life? I'm very happy that you endorse this product! I've come to find a lot of value in all of your videos!

Beauty&SilverKinks: I just started week two. So far so good. Very easy to use. Can’t wait to see results months from now. If not, Its good to know that I can return it and get my money back. Since, I order from amazon quite often lol, I purchased this using my amazon pay. It allows me to make payment installments over time because this device is expensive lol but for a little hope of my hair regrowing is definitely worth it Thank you, Dr Dray for the update.

Zahra Tiwana: I've been using this for 3 months and I already see great results!

Hoovering T.: Dr. Dray, do you think using an infrared light such as this one for the face can cause premature ageing or even “sunburn”? I have one for pain but im afraid of using it and getting dark spots or premature ageing whenever i use it.

Alex Clausen: Thank you so much for testing this. It's a pretty big chunk of change to spend without knowing if it works or not.

Fabienne: This is why I respect your videos as much as I do, honest and no bias...straight forward and no nonsense.

Ryleigh Lloyd: I use this on my face too, works great for redness and helped regrow my eyebrows, just make sure you wear goggles.

Quanetta Brown: Would you recommended this over the use of PRP and micro needling for androgenetic alopecia? I have experienced diffuse thinning but it’s most noticeable across my front hairline.

Sunday Sommers: Thanks for the continued updates on this. My hair has thinned a lot on top and is getting shorter. I have ordered the IRestore and feeling hopeful.

PranaGirl AmericanHoney: Thanks for the tip of working with a dermatologist to first get a diagnosis for hair loss. And that can involve blood work and a scalp biopsy to know what is truly going on. Then we should talk with our dermatologist about low-level laser therapy, as that the data is strongest for pattern hair loss.

K Ganesan: Hi Dr Dray, thanks for all your helpful skin and hair tips! huge fan. Could you clarify if melatonin topical solutions can be used to control hair loss?

Vicky OH: OMG I’m gonna tell my husband. He has done many things, but some of the treatments are annoying (like Finasteride). He is planning hair transplant (but thanks to COVID we need to reschedule). I think this will be a great thing to at least, maintain his healthy hair and then after the procedure.

MyMeadowlark: Dr. Dray, I hope this isn't a silly question, but as this device emits LLLT and LED light the 635nm range, could you use it for facial treatment also?

Olivia Southerland: Bought mine in April, starting to see thicker hair. they also sell a battery pack, if you don’t want to sit for 25 min. I like that it “forces” me to sit and have some me time.

Do not cum for me: After checking the price... *BALD HEAD ISN'T THAT BAD*

Julie D.: Happy Tuesday Dr. Dray!! I’m very poor and want to invest in one of these for my AGA. So, I want to make sure it’s the best on the market for helmets right now. Have you seen any other units that have come out since you purchased this that you think may be better? Have a great week! ~ Julie ~

Armstronglien: Thanks to you I have used this helmet since last December. If it breaks down I will rush to get it fixed or replaced! Their customer service is awesome!

mati261000: Dr. Dray.....I am female and my Dr. prescribes Finasteride 5mg for my hair loss together with Spironolactone 50mg. Is Finasteride recommended for women? Also, is this device safe for the eyes? It seems the light hits all the way down to your eyes and brows. Thank you for doing this video for us. Those of us that are losing our hair, mine is due to age, truly appreciate your help and expertise. I did purchase the iRestore a couple of weeks ago, but I have been fearful. After this video I feel more encouraged. Again.......thanks.

Amal Ali: Thank you for this video. I managed to get an iGrow helmet 2nd hand from a nice lady on EBay for £28 in UK which I picked up and was able to inspect. I would recommend a 2nd hand device because they’re quite expensive.

Victoria Torres: Dr Dray, is there a difference on results from the use of the different types of iRestore? or do they work the same? Thank you.

KaijouAkai: I got the iRestore Pro around a couple of months ago (beginning of July) for my androgenetic alopecia. There was a $300 off sale at their site at the time and after chatting with customer service, they knocked off another $50 so I paid a total of $845. They also threw in their shampoo and conditioner as part of another promo. So far, I'm experiencing a bit more shedding than usual but that's to be expected. According to my dermatologist, I have an unusual hair loss pattern that occurs on the sides of my head, so she suggested that I tilt the helmet to alternate exposure on either side on the designated use days. I also have a big fat head so I have to omit the front padding. Fingers crossed that this will work—Not expecting the super-thick hair I used to have, but I worry about winding up with thin stringy hair like Gollum.

Jane Muses: Yes I bought this because of Dr Dray and have noticed hair thickness in just a few months. But I also started rogaine about the same time so perhaps it's a combination of both.

Jessica Garner: I’m not even lying, you have officially gained my respect with this video. Thank you!

Sandy Fernandez Sheehy: Great video, thanks Dr Dray! You answered all of questions about this device.

Kat W: Hi, Dr. Dray: did you notice any changes in your skin texture as well? I thought the wavelength of this device was also found to be beneficial for improvements in fine lines, wrinkles, skin roughness, and intradermal collagen density?

Bill: Thank you for your very informative and helpful presentation. Can you explain a little how it can affect people with chemo caused alopecia?

SnowyTaco: I'm starting to look into this. I've been on rogaine for years and I'm just finishing up a year of finasteride. Nothing has changed with me. I've even been putting black castor oil on every other night. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Tanya Flynn: Hi Dr Dray, I'm a big fan of yours. Thank you for doing this research. I watched this video when you first put it out... I'm rewatching this because I'm getting ready to buy this guy! Thank you again! Stay blessed.

Marla Robinson: I love their shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair feel so nice and it really makes my hair appear thicker.

Tamara’s Timeless Beauty: At 60 my hair loss has really accelerated at a scary level. Falling out by the handful My thyroid is fine...I have an appt with a bio identical hormone doc this week in case it’s hormonal. I’ve tried Rogaine but it’s SUCH a mess that I can’t seem to stick with it. Not sure if I’m a candidate for Aldactone as I have quite low BP with occasional othostatic dizziness as it is. This looks like something I need to consider.

C U: Thank you for this update! I might need hair treatments in a few years since my father is bald. I'm deciding between laser, transplants, and minoxidil.

T Anon: Hairmax makes more options in their devices than their laser brush. I own the hairband style which requires much shorter treatment cycles. And while not cheap, they are less than this helmet device. I have had the same results as Dr Dray with hair growth, thickening etc. My hair was thinning due to menopause and my device has made a difference.

Ultimate Genosyko: So, I did not know there was a “pro” version of Irestore. I purchased the 600 dollar model on Amazon. I didn’t know they had one for 1200. Is the model I have drastically inferior to the “pro” version??

Dana K: Hi Dr. Dray Can I use this during pregnancy and breastfeeding since I have to stop using minoxidil and spironolactone?

Dellaluna13: This used simultaneously with an LED face mask, and you will easily freak out any home invader.

Charlie Effy: I've been using iRestore device for 2 months, and noticed substantial decrease of hair loss after shower. I've been also using the shampoo and conditioner from iRestore. However, I started to have dandruff recently, which I have never had before with using all different brands of shampoo. Does anyone else have similar experience? was it a known side effect of the iRestore hair regrowth system?

Kawaii Tropix: Mahalo for this video. I bought a similar system (iGrow) ~4 years ago. I’m not religious about using it but I trust the science behind LED/laser systems. If we can now get the FDA to update our sunscreen actives

Nadia Mccardell: Hey Dr. Dray I’m just curious if skin products have the same effects on hair? For instance, would hyaluronic acid moisturize hair?

Baby Luv: I have this device. I bought it because of my CCCA alopecia and I see a big difference too. Been using it for about 6 months.

namrata sharma: Hi Dr. Gray, I used illummiflow 272 lasers cap for 3 months, half hour, every other day, I also used Rogiane . I started having itching on my scalp. Once I stopped using cap itching eventually went away. So I had to return the cap. Do you think I-restore will also cause itching?

Jimmy Brenner: I caved and ordered the HairMax comb last night. I've had decent success with Propecia and Rogaine on my crown but my hairline and temples still seem to be receding quickly. I'm hoping to target those areas. Maybe one day I will upgrade to iRestore. I am curious what the added benefit of the LED light is? Love watching your videos everyday!

Kim Lloyd-George: When I FIRST saw you doing this I thought: cray-cray. However, I have learned to respect your opinon on skincare. Following your lead, my skin is 100p/c better in a few months of simple Dr Dray Care. I have had thryroid cancer, and the ensuing radio. The hair never really came back.. Im tired of covering up the holes on my crown with painful clip ons. I am considering buying this..first will check with my Dema! Thanks, Dr Dray.

Kelly Flynn: Do you need to wear protective eye goggles while wearing this? I know you didn't in the video, but can it cause any harm to the eyes over time? Also, is it safe to use while nursing? Random question, but it would be convenient to be able to do while pumping since I'm sitting for 30 minutes anyway. Just a thought

RJ: Did you have hair loss Dr Dray, or did you use iRestore for preventative measures? Is iRestore useful as preventative measure against hair loss due to ageing?

L: Is the essential version enough to cover a receding hairline? Or do I need the pro one? Thank you for all the information!

BlessedEternally1: Would love it if you could do a video on hair loss due to Covid-19 and how to treat it. I’m currently recovering from this and have heard so many survivors claiming this is happening to them as long term side effect.

Bird of Paradise: Dr. Dray, I removed that front pad from my iRestore helmet as I didn't like how it left the mark as well. There is instruction inside the helmet how to remove it - very easy.

Vicki Driscoll: Do you think this could help with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia? I know you mentioned it does help with other types of Alopecia. Thank you, very informative video

Courtney Scott: Hi Dr.Dray! Hope you’re having a great day. Have you seen the new brand at Ulta called Beekman 1802? They are claiming they’re fragrance free but have a ton of flower extracts in their products...

Kasey Shea: I just won this helmet off of one of their Instagram giveaways! The company is so generous and I can’t wait to see how awesome it is❤️

Mirina XO: I’m interested in this product... it’s pricey but I think I could use it! ‍♀️

J'adorMyCC: I bought the device because of your review. I watched the other video you had regarding irestore vs capillus vs hairmax. I think you mentioned that irestore has led and laser, but other device only have low level laser. Why is it that we want LED for hair growth? Was there any research for LED for hair growth? There are other reviews that mentioned LEDs are useless for hair loss so I’m confused. Can you clarify if it’s better to have a combination or just have low level laser alone? Led can help with blood flow, but it doesn’t really penetrate in hair follicle like the laser does so wouldn’t it be better to have more number of low level lasers than than combine it with LEDs?

Kawthar .99: Thank you for this amazing vid. Can u talk about Crescina ampoules? I’ve seen a lot of ppl thanking about it. But it’s clearly expensive and you should keep buying it so you don’t lose the results you get.

Austin McKenzie: I’ve seen very few studies on this and LPP. I was diagnosed with LPP last year and was wondering if this could potentially benefit ?

Mary Moore: I got this exact helmet for Christmas, and I developed extreme dryness on the skin at the top of my forehead in a curved line right where the helmet covers. I also felt scalp burning when I used it — which I still felt the next day (it was more than just gentle warming), my scalp felt literally sunburnt. I was SO disappointed, as I really wanted it to work. I don’t understand why it caused these issues for me?

Angelo Scofield: Good Morning Dr Dray! Thanks again for another video. It's always a pleasure hearing from you. Cheers :)

Music Notes: I have had BCC on my scalp. It was removed, but I had wondered if it may have been caused by the laser cap. Is that possible, and is it okay to use it again after having had BCC on the scalp? Thank you.

Sarah Miller: Could you discuss the safety, specifically to the eyes?

tongo: Had purchased the cheaper of the two caps. Can't say it has helped me after 6 months. Am considering returning it.

copperman2021 copperman2021: Hi thanks for your review. Did you experience any shedding at all while using this product?

aiman_b: I just ordered this today. They have a $400 off Black Friday special, free shipping, shampoo, serum, conditioner, and vitamins. Not really concerned about the shampoo and conditioner (picky about shampoo and I like what I already use ) but I think it's a great offer. The 12-month money-back guarantee is not just amazing but rare. THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW DOC! Been a fan and subscriber since day one. Your fans appreciate and love you for the investment you make in all these videos. You're a gem of a human being.

RabidTardigrade: I’m 27 and within the last year I’ve noticed bad thinning at the crown. I’m going through whether to just shave it all off and focus on not having a mental break or spending yet again a large amount of money on something that sounds silly. I really don’t want to be bald tho. Finasteride really hasn’t done much for me tho like even slowing it. Ugh. Great video tho

Itzel Paz: I've always had lil and thin hair since I was a little girl. Can I use this just to increase the density of my natural hair? Thank you

Julie Mann: Dr. Dray--there are 2 devices, the Professional and the Essential (cheaper). Which do you recommend for balding at my crown? Thanks so much for this great video.

Sabine WatchesVids: Hi Dr Dray! Is it advisable to apply QV cream as a moisturizer for the face?

Sharma Xoxo: I use my led mask on my head. You can move it around and reach all areas. Works great.

DebbieMtl2011: Dr. Dray, I just wanted some clarification on taking a combination approach...would you say this device is safe to use with Minoxidil? Thank you for this vid!

dkayrotach: I saw from another YouTuber that it did great for her but after some time her thinness came back where she the areas she was having problems, so her dermatologist to her to use it 2x a week instead of every other day. That’s what I’m doing.

PieOnPot: Do you know if power output makes a difference? Hairmax takes a stab at iRestore as their LaserBand 82 is "1230mW vs the iRestore 105mW". I've used the iRestore essentials for years, but was considering upgrading. Appreciate the video.

Ramute Vizbaraite: Hey Dr Dray, hope you are having a good day. Can this be used when trying to conceive? Thanks a lot :) x

An Osigan: I did transplant a while back and it did not stop hair loss. I resorted to minoxidil daily and purchased this almost a year ago and have noticed less shedding. It did slightly help with thickness but I’m still not confident with my hair. I will continue since I did pay so much for this

NicoLennox: Besides stimulating new growth, can it also make existing hair stronger? Thanks @dr dray

Karen McCreary: Hi Dr. Dray , I remember you using the Capillus cap system awhile back . You said that it really worked and I have been going to invest my meager allowance in it . Now we have another one . Which one is the best ? Capillus has a "sale" of sorts and I was almost clicking on the buy button. Guaradian Angel working overtime here . LOL Thanks for your reply/opinion. Karen M.
