Belle Tress Camellia Wig Review | Out Of Box & Styling! | Important Details! Warnings & What To Do!

Hey everybody welcome back to tess's wig closet at wing studio one today, i'm going to finally introduce a style that has been sitting back here in the audience for quite a long time. Many of you have asked me about this one, so we're gon na check out today the belletress camellia. Now i purchased camellia with my own funds. I put it on my head, so i could make my adjustments inspect. It real good and then i it's been sitting back here on one of the mannequin heads for a couple of months. I think so. This is what you can expect from this style directly from the box. Now butterbeer blonde is my favorite blonde by belletress um. I usually buy this when i'm buying the wigs on my own. I usually buy this color, but this comes in so many different color options, as well as new styles belletress, continues to come out with new colors, including a whole palette of fashion, colors you're, going to find those fashion colors available on camellia, so they're really expanding. That and they're hitting all kinds of personalities with not only the styles but also the colors. Arguably, the most defining feature of this style is its length and its voluptuous curl. We'Re going to talk about these dimensions to see how this might play out on you right around the front is about 13 to 18 inches, so you're going to see a couple of layers there around 13 and then that graduates into 18 and then overall you're going To see a 22 inch length, it's a really long long style, you'll, see a temple to temple, lace, front and a full single monofilament top with open wefts on the sides and back the grid is fine. The knots are fine, it's a bit thickly threaded there, but they are bringing up the highlight right to that lace front. You can part it wherever you like, you're, going to get the illusion of scalp from the top. It'S still in its kind of a weave pattern. There directly out of the box we're going to break that up here in a moment. One thing you absolutely need to know about this style is that it's a whopper. It weighs 8 ounces. 8 ounces. Now, that's not unusual for all of this hair and all of this length, i have never felt a style, quite so heavy. In fact, i think this should come with a warning that, in order to wear this all day or in an updo or pony, i really think you're going to need to do some special measures to secure the wig what's happening is that the weight of this wig Is kind of dragging the cap down and if you have a petite or petite average circumference like i do it just feels like any minute. The weight of this hair is just going to make my cap slide off. So, there's a lot of things that you can do number one um, i think, with this style, i'll be wearing a wig grip. What that wig grip will do is create a little bit of extra measurement on my circumference. Just a little and it'll also help that wig cap from sliding around, so i suggest using a wig grip, perhaps some adhesive right there at the lace front, to prevent it from shifting back under the weight of this hair. This is a very lush density. It is a lot of hair and you can't help but to feel romantic and feminine under all of this. So let's talk about the hallmark of the stuff, which is this curl, so this voluptuous curl is very much intact. You can see where there's a lot of definition to these ringlets, that just sprout from about halfway down the style and carry through to the ends is just sort of a blunt cut, with all these beautiful curls and there's no tapering at the ends. So some of you may really enjoy the defined look of these curls right out of the box, and others will probably look to separate these curls. Maybe brush them out a little bit to bring that into something that they feel comfortable with now remember this is a heat friendly style as a part of the belletress cafe collection. So you can use your heat appliances on this to create the look that you want. One thing you have to remember is that if you do end up straightening this style, it is difficult to get back. This original curl now permatease there's very little permatease on this style, just a light coating all the way around, and i think this is very typical of most beltress styles. We'Ve come to be used to that. Belletress has really mastered the art of using the fiber and the layering to give us a great coverage and a supported style without using a lot of permatease. I wish other brands would take a page from their book because they have done a great job with the lack of permatease on that monofilament top. It is going to be very flat. It just feels, like i'm patting my scalp there. So again, no permatease you've got the monofilament top the weight of the hair and the fact that there's no permatease up there is just going to make it super flat. I think you can use your heat tools, though, to build in some contour strategically. To give you the look that you want, i think, just by using my hands here, i can easily stretch the curl gently and create a looser look. Okay, so what i would use is a wide tooth comb and i would actually start at the bottom and i'm just going to start see how easily this just runs through that fiber, it's just so soft and supple. So i'm just going to work my way up. I want to avoid raking through from top to bottom that stretches the hair and it really does harm the integrity of the fiber. So i'm going to work in sections from the bottom to the top to my desired level of separation. And personally, i think this is as loose as i would want to go. In fact, i would keep some of this around the face. I would not brush that out. I like a little bit of spiral tendrils there that are very defined, and then i could brush out the other ones. Then i'm going to separate that part, so i just comb straight down. Also, i just would be a huge fan of creating some additional lift right at the front. I do not think that the heat, from my hand, will be effective in this case, because it's so long and heavy that i think i would need to use uh some heat to give it any kind of lift permanent, lift there at front. Here'S an inside look at the cap for beltress camellia, there's a lace front. It does run temple to temple. It does not extend back into the ear tab, although those seams are very nicely obscured. There'S a nice deep lace front a seam adjoining to the single monofilament top everything is velvet covered a closed ear, tab lots of fiber spliced in in the ear tab which will make it really nice for updos an extended felted, nape and bra strap type adjusters. I have had to cinch in these adjusters nearly as far as they could go to accommodate a petite average circumference so because this is a heat, friendly style and because it is so long, i think these fibers are going to take a little bit of extra care And one thing i think you can do to really help the longevity and the beauty of this style is by using simply style and light silicone spray i'll attach the links below. I think you've all seen me talk about and use this product before, but i think spraying a little bit of this on the ends, especially in areas where the ends are going to drag your clothing and get the most friction. This also helps you detangle. At the end of the day, when you remove the style, this will help set those tangles free a little more easily without having to pull and stretch the fibers as much. I also think that it will give these curls a little bit more definition and resilience. If you use some on the curly ends so again, investing in a silicone product like this would probably help the longevity of this style. Let'S try with glasses, okay, you would think that the glasses might have trouble fitting between the ear tab and the ears securely, but these work wonderfully there's very little permatease in that area and the fiber is really straight right there at the temple, so it works out.
